Baby Shark

synopsis; in which there’s a shark in the water, just not the one taehyung is thinking of.

When the shutter of the camera clicks, you can’t help but stare at the monitor to revel in the beauty of your boyfriend – Taehyung.

His hair is matted to his face from the water, droplets falling off his hair and onto his semi-tanned skin just from being outside alone, white suntan lotion still prominent on the bridge of his nose, dark blue swimming trunks hug his waist perfectly, black sunglasses on and wide smile on full display for you. The background of the surrounding happy people that are scattered along the stretch of pier you’re on, as well as the vast blue water and green mountains only serves as a means of enhancing his natural allure.

How did you get so lucky?

“I am not getting in that water.”

A deep frown is on his face, but still, it doesn’t marr his charm.

His arms are what’s keeping him from completely falling underneath the water, the veins in his arm prominent from the muscle being used in order to allow him to, once again, attempt to persuade you to join him in the crystal clear waves. You currently sit on the edge of the pier, on your shared blue and white striped towel, his glasses now off and next to you on said towel, perfectly and fully content with only having your feet touch the cool and dangerous body of ocean.

His next words get cut off by the faint sound that seems to be getting closer. Now within earshot, you hear it, for the upteenth time just this day alone.

‘Baby Shark, Do Do Do Do Do’

It causes you both to groan in unison.

The family of three walks by you, the father carries their little one whose face is fully glued to a blue tablet, eyes wide as they watch the colorful family of sharks. When the song fades enough, does your boyfriend finally speak again.

“I hate how catchy that song is.”

All you do is nod in agreement, eyes still honed in on the family, your mind going to a place where Taehyung is oblivious of. Your arms cross over your stomach reflexively, a small gasp of fear escaping your mouth, before your head goes under the water.

Taehyung used your moment of deep thought to his own advantage, grabbing you by the waist and pulling you into the water with him. When you both reemerge, your hair is like a thick curtain that’s glued to your face. For a moment, you freak out not being able to see, holding onto Taehyung for dear life. He just chuckles at you, one hand of his being enough to release you from your hair prison as he pushes it off your face.

The next time he sees your eyes, they’re piercing daggers into his very soul, and he shivers. Whether it be from your stare, or the small bit of wind that passes by, he’s not sure.

“I loathe you.”

“You love me, you mean.”

“No. Loathe is correct.”

He snorts in amusement, but doesn’t take your words to heart. He knows you’re only joking. Especially when you curl yourself into him even more, another bout of warm wind floating on by that causes goosebumps to arise all over your body.

When your heart returns to a normal pace, you allow yourself a moment to take in the scenery around you, and when you see the same child floating by that was once enamored with the song on the tablet, in a shark designed floating device, does it give you an idea. However, not wanting to falsely alarm those around you who are enjoying the rather shark free waters, you decide to whisper in Taehyung’s ear instead.

“There’s a shark in the water.”

You can feel him tense underneath you, your arms still firmly secured around his neck, and his around your waist. You have to bite your lip to keep from letting out the giggles that wanted to escape. You can see his eyes scanning the waters, before his body goes lax again upon realizing there is no actual threat, and instead zeroes in on the same kid you saw earlier. He lets out an exasperated sigh, shaking his head, but he still laughs.

“You almost got me there, y/n.”

“Sorry, I meant to say there’s a baby shark in the water.”

“Yeah, I know. There’s plenty of kids out here right now.”

You shake your head vehemently.

He wasn’t getting it.

“Taehyung, yes, there’s toddlers and teens, but there’s also a baby in the water.”

Your eyes connect, but his brain still doesn’t.

“Baby, there is no baby out here that I can see.”

His brows are furrowed in confusion.

You let your forehead fall against his now half dry shoulder in defeat, then you pick your head back up and grab his face with one of your hands to get him to really look at you when you say it again.

This time, slowly.

“There. Is. A. Baby. In. The. Water.”

He purses his lips, the gears turning in his head, your eyes still focused on one another.

Then, his eyes grow big.

“No.”

“No, what?”

“No.”

“Taehyung, what are you—,”

He whispers it underneath his breath, as if it’s a secret no one else can hear. Which, in a way, he doesn’t want anyone else to hear and have it get out into the world before he can personally tell those he loves.

“Is my baby….having a baby?”

Your lower lip starts to tremble, eyes brimming with nervous tears. All it takes is a subtle nod of your head to confirm that yes, in fact—

You are pregnant.

“Oh my–,” he stutters over his words. Then playfully glares at you. “Y/N, I’m sorry but that was making no sense whatsoever!”

You gasp, offended. Own eyes squinting at him, tears successfully dried up.

“That made perfectly good sense!”

He lets out a bellowing laugh, one that garnishes the attention of those near you, but only for a moment. He spins you two around in the water and you squeal, closing your eyes, and holding on tightly. When he stops, his forehead is against yours. He waits for you to reopen your eyes before he lets out a soft smile for you only.

“I love you, and I can’t wait to meet our—,”

BABY SHARK, DO DO DO DO DO DO~

Both your faces become flat, and you inwardly curse the adult who purposely blasts the awful, stupidly catchy song, on a personal Bluetooth speaker for all to hear. No doubt due to the excess whining of the toddler you heard prior demanding the song be played, but still.

He gives you a loving kiss on the lips.

“We are never showing that song to our kid.”

“Never.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean that someone else will. Or rather, one of your babies many uncles won’t do the deed for you.

Don’t You Love the Rain?

Pairing: Dad!Tae x Mom!OC

Genre: fluff

Summary: The Kims take a trip to California to see Zelda's family, and Zelda and Zoro enjoy some time together in the rain.

There had always been a certain essence of home in southern California that Zelda couldn’t quite explain. She hadn’t even lived there during her childhood, and she’d left it nearly as soon as she’d turned eighteen, but something about it had always felt like home to her.

She wanted nothing more than for Zoro to experience that as well. He was barely four months old, but she was taking him home to see her family. It hadn’t really been something she’d planned to do, but she missed home, and her mother hadn’t seen much of the new grandson, so a trip was in order.

It was raining when she first stepped out of the airport, Tae a few paces behind her. Zoro was nearly asleep strapped to her chest, pacifier in his mouth. He, as always, had been extremely calm for most of the trip. Zelda had long discovered that he tended to stay in a good mood as long as he was in her or Tae’s arms. Today was no different.

He wasn’t very happy to be put into his carrier, though.

“Zoro,” Zelda cooed, nudging her finger into his mouth. “I’m here. Go back to sleep.”

He whimpered around her finger, but he relaxed a bit. She stroked her thumb over his forehead.

“Go back to sleep, sweetheart.”

He made a small noise before shutting his eyes. It wasn’t long before he was sound asleep again.

Zelda’s parents’ house was about two hours from the airport, but it was by far the shortest part of their trip thus far. They lived in a town that wasn’t very small but not quite big either, and it wasn’t very far from the beach. Her parents had lived there for nearly fifteen years now, and it had been where Tae had proposed over two years ago now.

Zoro was awake again by the time they got there, and he would’ve been pitching a fit had Zelda not had her hand resting on his chest.

Her first order of business that afternoon was to take Zoro outside. It was merely sprinkling outside at that moment in time, and he loved the rain. She strapped him to her chest and took him into the backyard.

Zoro kicked his legs as the rain dotted his head softly.

“You like that?” She giggled, running her finger down the slope of his nose.

He cooed up at her. Rain was dripping down his nose now, but he didn’t seem to mind it. He simply stared up at her with a smile on his face.

She tapped his nose. “Hi, buddy. You enjoying the rain?”

He cooed, making her smile.

“You’re very happy this afternoon.”

This time he made a noise before grinning. She held her finger out in front of him, and he reached up to grab it. He brought it down in front of his face and stuck it in his mouth.

“You like my fingers, don’t you?”

He paid no mind to her question, instead simply leaning back against her and sucking on her finger. She smiled and wrapped her other arm around him.

“I’ve always loved the rain,” she told him. “It rained a lot in Chicago when I lived there. You’ll love the summer in Korea. It rains a lot then.”

She’d barely even been pregnant last summer. By the end of monsoon season, she’d only been three months pregnant, not even pregnant enough to feel him move yet. It was so odd to think about, especially now that he was wiggling in her arms instead of inside her. Those tiny legs of his liked to kick, and even now as he was sitting in the sling he was kicking.

“What are you doing with these tiny feet of yours?” she asked, wrapping her fingers around one of his feet.

He glanced up at her then, her finger slipping out of his mouth. She ran her finger along the bottom of his foot, making him squirm and giggle.

“Are you ticklish?” she asked, repeating the motion.

He kicked his foot, attempting to get rid of her hand. She pulled her hand from his grasp and grabbed his other foot then before pulling his legs out in front of him.

“Look at these chubby little legs.”

She stroked the bottom of both of his feet this time, and he kicked them again, giggling. She tapped the bottoms of his feet together.

“You’re so cute, Zoro, you know that?” she cooed, nuzzling her nose into the crown of his head.

Zoro responded in a babble of noises before cooing.

“Yeah, you know it, don’t you? Little cutie.” She kissed the top of his head.

The rain was coming down a bit harder now, so Zelda decided it was time to go inside. Zoro’s body couldn’t hold in heat as well as hers could, so she was sure he was starting to get cold.

Once the two of them were back upstairs, she took him out of the sling and laid him on the bed. He was quick to wiggle around and try to flip himself onto his stomach.

“Hey, you silly. Where are you going?”

He giggled. She returned a moment later with a towel to dry him off, rubbing his stomach playfully as she flipped him back onto his back.

“We need to dry you off, silly.”

She wiped the towel down his forehead, tapping his nose after doing so. He giggled again.

“Does that tickle?” she asked.

She wiped the top of his head this time, and then she dried his legs off. It was then that he shivered, letting out a tiny coo afterwards.

“Is it time to get into something warmer?”

He cooed again, sticking his fist in his mouth afterwards.

After digging through his clothing and picking out a onesie, she slipped his shoulders out of the one he was wearing before pulling it down. She tugged one of his arms out of it before holding it up in front of his face.

“There’s your arm!”

He giggled.

She pulled his other arm out, holding it in front of his face as well. He let out a loud laugh this time.

Once she’d pulled his onesie all the way off, she grabbed his arms and held them above his head before nuzzling her face into his belly. He laughed again and kicked his legs, kicking against her shoulders in the process.

She leaned over him again. “You’re silly.”

He grinned and cooed up at her.

“Yes, little sir, you’re silly. Now, should we get you into something warmer?”

She didn’t give him time to answer the question, instead pulling his legs up so she could slip the onesie underneath him. Then she slipped his legs into the bottom before sitting him up. He grinned and reached up to grab ahold of her nose.

She laughed. “Hi there.”

He cooed in response.

She tugged his arms through the onesie before laying him back down and zipping him up.

“There we go. All warm.”

She rubbed his belly, and he squirmed beneath her.

“Should we go find Appa now?“

All she got in response was another coo.

“Ok, let’s go find him.”

She scooped him up off the bed and settled him against her chest. He leaned against her immediately, cuddling into her.

“Are you tired, Zor?”

He blinked up at her, and she smiled. His sleep schedule had been completely screwed up by the plane ride and time change. He’d slept for quite a bit of the plane ride, and then he’d been awake besides his short nap in the car.

She ran her finger down his nose. “How about we put you in the wrap?”

She settled him back on the bed, much to Zoro’s discontent. He made a sound that was akin to a squawk.

“Hey, silly, I’m coming right back.”

He kicked his legs impatiently this time as she tied the baby wrap around her. She picked him up and slipped him into it a few moments later, and he was content again, nuzzling his face into her chest. She patted his back.

“That’s good, eh?”

He was still quite tiny, so carrying him against her chest was nearly no different than being pregnant with him had been, although this was better because his weight was higher on her body, and now she could kiss his tiny head.

His eyes had fluttered shut, and she rubbed his back.

“Don’t fall asleep yet, buddy. You need to eat still.”

She carried him downstairs, and he was nearly fully asleep by the time they got down there. She settled into the couch and untucked him from the wrap, making him whine. He was quiet a few moments later when he latched onto her nipple, though. She rubbed his back.

“Yeah, you’re hungry, aren’t you? It’s been a while since you ate.”

He hummed against her chest, his eyes fluttering shut again. She stroked her finger against his cheek.

Tae wandered into the room a few minutes later.

“Is he asleep again?” he asked as he sat down next to her, slinging his arm over her shoulders.

“Not yet. He’s dozing off, though.”

Tae rubbed Zoro’s head gently. Zoro’s eyes opened briefly, and he smiled.

“Hi, Zor.” Tae smiled. “He’s tired.”

“Yeah. He had fun in the rain, though.”

“Did he?” Tae chuckled. “Just like his Mama.”

She smiled and leaned against him, shifting Zoro with her.

“I think it’s about time to go to bed.”

“You think so?” he asked.

“Yep. This one’s tired and so am I,” she replied, tapping Zoro’s cheek.

He hummed. “It’s been a long day…or two.”

She nodded.

Zelda’s intent had been to spend some time with her mom that evening, but she’d ended up saying goodnight only a few minutes after she’d gone downstairs. She’d kept Zoro tucked to her chest, not wanting to disturb him again even though he was no longer nursing. He’d had a long day, and it was clear it had exhausted him.

He very happily cuddled against her chest once they were in bed.

“Little Zoro is tired, isn’t he?” Tae asked, rubbing his back gently.

Zoro barely reacted, clearly ready to be asleep.

Tae chuckled. “All right. Goodnight.”

Zelda smiled. “Goodnight, Tae.”

“Goodnight, darling.”

Jimin and Hoseok looked up at you with confused expressions.

You shook your head, having no answers for Taehyung’s behavior beyond it being Taehyung.

“I’m telling you, the angels say this is not the place for us.”

“Tae, the angels didn’t tell you that your husband would be furious about you bringing four kids home without asking, so I think the angels aren’t that reliable.” Yoongi rolled his eyes. “Also, we’re not so great on options, right now.”

You sighed and did another headcount. “Where’s Seokjinnie?”

His head poked up over the kitchen counters.

“Don’t climb onto the counters,” You instructed softly, grateful for his good hearing, waving him back over to the group.

Namjoon was tracing the shapes on the rug.

Jungkook was looking at Taehyung with big eyes from Yoongi’s arms.

Taehyung was gesturing around. “It’s got a bad vibe, hyung! We can’t raise our kids with such a bad vibe.”

“We’re not choosing our home based on a ‘vibe’,” Yoongi said with some exasperation.

Your baby was constantly waking you and Jungkook up throughout the night with loud sobs, and this night was no different. After the first time, you stopped checking and waited for her to calm down, which after a few minutes, she always did, but it was constant throughout the night and you couldn't take it.

Your head pounded as you woke up for the nth time to the sound of your baby crying. You turned over, now facing the man who was spooning you from behind, to see that Jungkook was also awake now.

"Just try to ignore it, honey. Blair will be okay." Jungkook softly says in an obviously sleepy voice. We were both sleep deprived, but we expected this, and we'd just have to get through it.

I nodded as I shut my eyes and cuddled up to his chest, the both of us lying there for a few minutes as we listened to the sounds of our baby's cries.

I couldn't take it anymore.

I moved away from him and he opened his eyes, looking at me.

"I can't do this. She's crying for longer than usual." I said, which wasn't actually true, but it definitely felt longer than usual this time.

"Okay, I'll go check on her." Jungkook tells me.

"It's okay, I can-" I'm cut off.

"Baby, no. You checked on her last time, it's my turn. Lay down." He said as he pecked my forehead and got out of bed, walking out of the room.

A few minutes later, I could still hear my baby crying next door, but at least she wasn't crying as hard as before. Even though I knew Jungkook was there taking care of Blair, I couldn't help it. I got out of bed and made my way to Blair's room.

When I walked into the Blair's room, I saw Jungkook standing in the middle of the room with her in his arms, swaying back and forth slowly as he softly spoke to her. He looked over at me when I walked in the room, smiling a little at the sight of me.

"You just couldn't resist, could you?" Jungkook softly asked me with a smile and I nodded, walking over to him and putting my hand on Blair's arm, gently rubbing it.

Jungkook handed me Blair and I carefully took her in my arms. He led me to the little sofa and made me sit down. He then stood by Blair and I and started softly singing lullabies. I continued gently rocking her as we both listened to Jungkook singing. Jungkook's hand made his way up to my head as he started gently massaging my head with his hand.

Now, with his singing voice, me rocking Blair, and him massaging my head, along with just the lack of sleep in general; Blair and I were both getting sleepy.

Eventually, without even realizing Blair fell asleep and so did I also I continued to unconsciously rock her in my sleep. Jungkook noticed and he stopped massaging my head. He walked over to Blair and took her from me, gently placing her in the crib. He bent down and gave her forehead a little kiss before walking over to me and picking me up from the chair, carrying me out of the room and back into bed.

I didn't even realize what had happened until I woke up the next morning, tucked into bed, next to Jungkook, who was sleeping next to me. I checked the baby monitor on my nightstand and I saw that Blair was still asleep.

Parenthood is difficult, but it is worth it.

a/n; he’s so dreamy.

He leans sideways against the tall, thick wooden railing, right arm folded over on top, hand tucked into his armpit. The other arm’s elbow dangles over the edge, his chin resting on it’s left hand as he gazes dreamily at the scenery in front of him.

You take up the same position next to him, albeit your dreamy gaze is zeroed in on him instead.

“What are you thinking about, husband?” Your voice is light and airy, not too loud, but not too soft either. He closes his eyes briefly to allow it to wash over him, only putting him in an even deeper state of tranquility.

He hums, a soft smile blooming over his features. He keeps his eyes closed, answering you with another question.

“What do you think I’m thinking about, wife?”

You scoot closer to him on the railing, and without hesitation, he lifts his left arm up to allow you to tuck yourself into his side. He nuzzles the top of your head, nose nestled in your hair, the lavender honey scent he’s come to know and love overtakes his senses for a moment. His arm wraps loosely around your waist, hand coming to lay on your stomach.

You take his left hand in yours, fingers playing with the thick, gold band of his wedding ring that you had the pleasure of putting there only but a few days ago when you said ‘I do’.

“Would it be selfish of me to say that I want you to be thinking of me?”

He chuckles, the vibration that exudes from his chest you can feel through your back as it lightly jostles you with its intensity.

You tilt your head to look back up at him, small frown adorning your lips that he gives a chaste peck too, the curve of your lips now threatening to curl at the act.

“What’s so funny, pray tell?” Your brow quirks up, which upside down, makes you look silly. He gives your nose a soft nuzzle, voice lilting with a teasing tone.

“The fact that you believe I would even be thinking of anything else but you, my love. That is funny.”

A loud mother duck, who has her hands full trying to get all her ducklings in line and back into the water off to the side of the wooden deck, is what breaks you two out of your lovesick haze.

Leaning back against Taehyung, you both watch as one by one, the ducklings plop haphazardly back into the water. Each one squawks momentarily in fear of their head being beneath the water for too long, before the mother duck nuzzles them back upright.

Taehyung now looks at you, your expression akin to something of both longing and fear. His fingers tap against your stomach, his voice caressing your outer earlobe that causes goosebumps to erupt onto your skin.

“What’s troubling you, sweetheart?”

As he rubs your stomach, you can’t help the anxiety that slowly begins to build within you, nerves on edge of the insecurity that passes through your lips. It has his heart clenching.

“Do you think I’m gonna be a good mom?” He can feel the emotion you try your best to keep tucked within you, and kneeling down beside you, he gently turns you to face him, his head now perfectly aligned with your barely there baby bump.

His hands come up to cup your stomach gently, as if afraid the weight of his hands alone could harm the little life that’s growing day by day inside of you. Like he did with your nose earlier, he nuzzles your baby bump with his nose, before giving it a loving kiss and fixing his brown orbs back onto yours.

“Sweetheart, you’re going to be an amazing mom.” His smile is boxy and wide, eyes shining with excitement. Your eyes begin to water, lip trembling.

“You’re going to be an amazing father, Tae.”

His eyes get glossy, and the setting sun on the horizon only makes his features glow even brighter. The baby pink shirt he wears makes you envision a little girl running around his kneeling figure, pulling and tugging on said shirt with little pleas of wanting to be held and loved by her daddy.

“She is going to love you, and have her wrapped around her little finger, mark my words.”

He lets out a watery chuckle, sniffling and wiping his nose with the back of his hand, before standing back up. He places his hands on your hips, thumbs rubbing circles into your sides as he tilts his head at you in wonder.

“Oh, really? You believe it’s gonna be a girl?”

You nod, confident in your gut feeling.

“Well, if she’s anything like you–,” he starts, stepping closer to you to place kisses on each part of your face, you giggling the whole time. And as he kisses each part, he names them off one by one. “–your eyes, your nose, your cheeks, your dimples, your mouth.”

The lingering kiss he leaves you on your lips has you arching your back into him in order to get closer and deepen it. His hands slide up your body to caress each side of your neck as he stares into your eyes with nothing but love and promise.

His lips move, his words reaching the very depths of your soul to gently envelope and ease away any and all doubts or worries you might’ve had about being a mother.

“It’s not always easy growing a little life inside of you. The morning sickness. The hormones. The changes to your body. The sleeplessness. Yet, when it all gets too hard, just remember how powerful you really are. You are growing a life inside of you, and that is incredible. You are incredible.”

And, as always, he was right.

You do become an amazing mom.

Jin: He would find it almost as funny as they do, making silly faces and poses with them in the mirror to make them laugh even harder.

Yoongi: He would try to be quiet, so he wouldn’t distract them, but their laugh is one of his weaknesses, so he’d end up snickering as he watched them.

Hobi: He’d be laughing right along with them, pushing the cart back and forth like you mentioned, probably filming to share on instagram.

Namjoon: Is both in love with and baffled at their ability to amuse themselves so easily, but so long as they’re happy, he’s happy.

Jimin: He’s obsessed with the sound of their laugh, he would happily sit and watch them for ages, he just thinks they’re the cutest thing ever

Big Brother

Pairing: Dad!Tae x Mom!OC

Summary: As Tae and Zelda greet their new arrival, there's a little boy who's even more excited than they are to meet the new baby.

Tae had dropped Zoro off at Jin and Jasmine’s condo around noon. Usually, he would’ve dropped him at Jungkook and Astrid’s, but they had their own newborn to handle at the moment, so the best option was just across the hall.

“Are you excited, Zoro?” Jasmine laughed as Zoro ran in circles around the living room.

“Yeahhh! Is gonna be little baby!”

Zoro had been absolutely thrilled from the moment he’d found out he was going to be a big brother. Most of what he’d talked about for months was the baby. Baby, baby, baby. He was so excited to have a baby in their home.

It was around six that evening when Jasmine was informed it was ok to bring Zoro up to the hospital. The two-year-old bolted off the second they walked through the door, and Jasmine was glad she didn’t have to stop to ask someone where to go.

“Zoro!” Namu, Jasmine’s son yelled. “Don’t run, silly!”

Zoro was pouting when Jasmine picked him up, insisting that he couldn’t run off. He wanted to see the baby already. He was kicking his legs by the time they got up to the correct floor.

Jasmine set him down and let him run into the room once they’d reached it, and he was immediately trying to climb the bed.

“Whoa there, buddy. Let’s not climb the bed,” Tae laughed, picking Zoro up.

Zoro whined. “Wanna see the baby!”

“You can see the baby,” Tae assured him. “Look, Mama’s holding her.”

Zoro’s mouth formed an ‘o’ as he stared down at his mom and baby sister. He gasped.

“Do you want to hold her?” Zelda asked.

Zoro’s face lit up. “Yeah!”

Zelda had never seen such awe on a little child’s face like that of Zoro’s when he held Hyeon for the first time. Eyes wide and mouth open in pure awe as he stared down at his newborn sister.

“Mama!” he whispered, clearly knowing that loud noises would startle the baby. “Heonie tiny!”

“Is she?” Zelda asked with a grin.

“Yeah,” he nodded. He poked his finger into her cheek, making the tiny girl scrunch up her nose. He grinned in delight. “She itty-bitty tiny baby.”

“Do you like her, Zor?” Tae asked.

Zoro nodded. “Can take her home?”

“Yep! We get to take her home! Isn’t that exciting?”

Zoro was grinning from ear to ear now. “Yeah! Is ‘citing.”

His excitement didn’t die even after they got home from the hospital. He was her little protector, following her everywhere she went. If Zelda handed her off to someone else to be held, Zoro would sit next to that person. If Zelda put her in the baby swing, Zoro would stand in front of it and watch her swing. When she was given a bath, Zoro would insist on helping, or at the very least watching.

To put it in simple words, he loved his little sister. This was a delight to both of his parents, because when every only child gets a little sibling, the biggest worry is that they’ll feel abandoned or forgotten. Zoro didn’t. If anything, it seemed that he preferred the company of the tiny girl to even his parents at times.

Zelda laid Hyeon in the center of their bed, supported between two pillows so that she couldn’t roll off. Not that she was even strong enough to do that, but better safe than sorry. It was time to get ready for bed, and Tae was doing laundry in the other room, so this was the safest option while she got changed.

It seemed that Zoro sensed this, because he came running into the bedroom as fast as his little legs would allow him. He was then using all of his strength to tug himself up onto the bed using the friction of the comforter against the mattress.

“I watch Heonie!”

“You want to watch her?” Zelda asked with a laugh from the closet door.

Zoro nodded emphatically, plopping down next to his sister once he’d reached the head of the bed. She was pretty silent as always, preferring to suck on her pacifier rather than pitch a fit. Zoro leaned over her, smiling as he did so.

“Hi, Heonie.”

This elicited a grin from the tiny girl, her pacifier falling out of her mouth in the meantime.

“Mama, Heonie smilin’!”

“Is she?” Zelda asked, pulling her pajama shirt over her head.

“Yeah,” Zoro bent down and kissed Hyeon’s cheek, making her coo. He grinned. “Heonie cute.”

He settled down next to her, leaning his head against one of the pillows. He reached out to pat her stomach. Hyeon reached up to grab his hands with both of hers.

“Heonie, your hands soft,” Zoro giggled, wiggling his fingers.

“What’re you doing there?” Tae asked as he entered the bedroom.

“Heonie hold my hand.” Zoro was giggling again.

Hyeon was already dozing off at this point. Tae came to lay beside the two of them in bed.

“Is it bedtime yet?” he asked, gently squeezing Zoro’s cheek.

“Noo…watch Heonie for Mama.”

“I can watch Heonie now. How about you go to sleep?”

Zoro let out a low whine. “Wanna watch Heonie.”

Tae gave in with a chuckle. “Ok, how about you watch her while you fall asleep?”

He picked up Hyeon’s pacifier and rested it back in her mouth. Then he tugged at the pillow that Zoro was resting on.

“Do you want me to move this so you can cuddle Hyeonie?”

Zoro smiled tiredly. “Yeah. Wanna cuddle Heonie.”

“All right, I need you to get up, then.”

Hyeon let out a small whimper as Zoro’s hand slipped from her grasp.

“Heonie, don’t cry,” Zoro frowned as Tae moved the pillow. He crawled to lay back beside her a few seconds later and settled his hand on her stomach again.

Hyeon grabbed ahold of his hand again.

“Think Heonie likes me,” Zoro giggled.

“Of course she likes you, silly,” Tae chuckled before poking Zoro’s cheek. “You’re her big brother.”

Zoro’s lips split into a huge grin at those words. “Yeah.”

They went out on a friendly dinner with their crush (it's friendly for their crush, not for them<3), but their crush had to babysit her nephew or niece (1-2 years old). So she brings them with her. How do you think they will react if they see her being all motherly and patient towards the babies?

Namjoon

Completely and irrevocably enamoured with this small child and the way you are interacting with them. Honestly thought he couldn't love you any more than he already did and now he kinda just wants to bash his head off the table in hopes that the stupid part of his brain that won't let him confess will go away. This is a man who had thought he had written off having kids when the world fell apart a couple years ago but now he is sure he is ovulating like a woman.

Seokjin

Jin was a little annoyed at the prospect of babysitting because he likes to be the centre of attention, especially your attention. But he quickly finds that annoyance melting when the baby starts babbling and you start cooing back and now he kinda just wants you to talk to him like that.

Yoongi

Keeps having flashes of an apartment littered with baby toys and you sitting at the kitchen table feeding a baby that looks suspiciously like a mix of the two of you. Whenever you are preoccupied by the baby his mind wanders away to this fictitious apartment filled with your laughter. He spends a lot of time just watching you interact with the baby. You have to call him to snap back into the conversation more than once.

Hoseok

Spends more time making faces at the baby than he does looking at you to be honest. He insists you go to places that are kid-friendly. He is not particularly swayed by how great you are with children, he knew you would be, this isn't new information.

Jimin

Not overly fussed about the baby honestly, he wanted to talk to you because you don't have a lot of time together as it is but now you're distracted. Don't get me wrong, he thinks the baby is cute and he loves how caring you are, it's one of the reasons he loves you. Doesn't mean he isn't frustrated and a little pouty about this turn of events.

Taehyung

Has immediately taken the baby out of your arms, he doesn't see how you interact with them, he is too busy tickling and feeding them himself. You get to watch him play dad/uncle instead (He would be lying if he hadn't thought that it might sway your feelings to be a little more romantic for him). Mostly he is just enjoying the baby's company.

Jungkook

No, he isn't jealous of a baby... Well maybe a little bit but you can't blame him. He gets a little pouty to start with but when you excuse yourself to the bathroom and ask him to look after the baby, you come back to find him holding baby above his head and giggling. His nose is all scrunched up and he is smiling so wide that he will never beat those cutie patootie allegations. He spends the rest of the meal sighing dreamily as he watches you take care of the baby.

My ovaries nearly exploded picturing Jungkook playing with a baby, especially watching his arms flex as he lifted the baby and his tattoos and his little nose scrunch and... yeah... so thanks for that.
