Happy Ostara! 🌼
I had the most perfect first day of spring and I hope you did too.

Years ago a friend gave me a clump of this teeny weeny Daffodil. It’s the smallest I’ve ever encountered, having a bloom width of 1″. She said this is the Daffodil that all the Daffodils came from! I don’t know where she got that information but she’s a garden maniac so I concluded she might just know what she’s talking about.
It’s the most vigorous of all my Daffodils. Forming big clumps of 5″ tall brilliant green stems that almost look like super healthy grass. Unstoppable!
Now that’s one to have!
Day 11 in 30 days of Daffodils on Forsythia Hill in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Another shot of the front garden, taken with the camera. The previous one was from the phone. I would take that one down but it already has so many notes!
