Name: Kamiko

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She inherited the Inuyoukai genes for the most part when it comes to coloring. White hair, gold eyes, pale skin (though that's from both sides) but her bone structure is definitely her mother. Unlike her uncle who is also a hanyou she doesn't have dog ears. She had a dog tail. When it's her day of the month in terms of reverting to fully human she looks almost exactly like her mother.

Personality: To no ones surprise she's a girl of few words. But she pays attention to everything. She's calm and serene and everything the typical high born japanese girl should be. But her mind is sharp and she's constantly storing away useful information that could help her family out in some way.

Special Talents: She is a high born lady so she comes with the appropriate list of accomplishments but her special talent really comes from her mother. She's got spiritual powers up the wazoo. She can see spirits that are normally even invisible to human and demon as well as channeling spiritual power into items such as an arrow like her mother but she likes to use fans in her ceremonies.

Who they like better: she doesn't have a preference it's kikyou

Who they take after more: pretty much a 50/50 split

Personal Head canon: Her spiritual power is at its greatest on the day she turns into a human. And yes, she turns into a human for a full day, the day of waning crescent moon for a full 24 hours she is in a human body with none of her inuyoukai talents (such as a poison whip she inherited from her father)

🐸  Jaken was quite certain that this will be the end of him. How does one lose an entire adult human ? Worse of all, it was none other than Sesshomaru’s mate. He had been left in charge of  keeping an eye on both Rin and the Priestess Kikyou..but the latter mysteriously vanished when he was not looking.

In other words, when he had fallen asleep.

“This is it. I’m done for. Lord Sesshomaru will be back at any moment..How am I to explain this ?”

                     Usagi likes to think that she’s good with technology. After all, she has a smart phone. She works on a computer all day and she even has a Switch back at her apartment (there was no way she was bringing that to work, even though she wasn’t heavily supervised, the face she imagined Sesshomaru-sama making if he caught her with it chilled her to the bone). But this stupid tablet that she’s been given is absolutely refusing to cooperate with her. It keeps double-booking schedule slots in the calendar, making her extra diligent in checking the calendar on her phone and her printed copies to make sure she has everything correct. And as if that isn’t stressful enough, she has to fuss with the stupid piece of technology, and walk. She’d taken to keeping a few steps behind him, making sure that if he stops, she does not bump into him. But this means that she, not fully aware of her surroundings, doesn’t notice that the elevator isn’t moving.

                    She is only made aware of anything as a feeling akin to electric shock shoots through her from her arm when he takes it to pull her toward him. Her gaze immediately lifts to meet his, blue eyes wide as she stumbles forward, barely catching herself before she bumps into him. 

                      Holy crap. What the actual hell was that feeling?

                    “I-...” Words get stuck in her throat and she clears it, hugging the tablet and papers she’s holding to her chest with one hand. She then hastily turns to actually select a floor so the now closed elevator can move. She only has a moment’s reprieve when she’s not looking at him to compose herself.

                    “Sorry, I’m just... having some trouble with the tablet. I’ll have it figured out before lunch.” She replies as smoothly as she can muster when she turns back to face him; moving to take her place next to him on the lift than way too close in front of him. She focuses her eyes forward, ignoring the burning in her cheeks.

                    She says a mantra of ‘please don’t notice, please don’t notice,’ in her head, because how embarrassing would that be? Well, it’s not like she hasn’t already been knocked on her ass by him already, but at least last time she didn’t blush like an idiot. Which is made even worse by the fact that he’s actually being a dick. Again. The redness in her cheeks actually spreads, the tips of her ears becoming pink from the array of contradiction emotions she’s feeling.

                    Stupid hot boss with his stupid smart-ass remarks...

“  you  can  die  slowly,  cut  into  a  thousand  pieces.  ”

“ i have died slowly, ” Kikyou replied, her dark eyes penetraing into pools of gold with only a moments consideration before she finished her thought. “ twice. ” Her mortal death now at the forefront of her mindseye.

“ my soul was ripped into a thousand pieces to reanimate a body i was never meant to possess, and before it even had the chance to settle in, most of it was torn away and put back into a woman that resembles my likeness,  ” she continued on impassively, now recalling her rebirth of the wretched clay and graveyard soil.

“ reborn only to die again.  ”

Just then, something peculiar happened. There was a small gutteral noise that escaped her last breath; the corners of her mouth twitched subtly. Both signs of utter discomfort that would surely go unnoticed if she were speaking to anyone else. Her mind now fixated on the last conscious moments she had on this plane, lying in the arms of her former lover as they said what should have been their final goodbyes.

Kikyou paused for a few moments.

“ Take heart —- ”

She continued now with a wry smile, hoping to cover all the inconsistencies arising in her formerly stoic character. Her beating heart of flesh and her newly gained freedoms now proved somewhat of a challenge in remaining as she was before her wanderess end.

“ My deaths may be everlasting.  ”

On after a few fireflies she follows smiling to herself happy to see life thrive under the moonlight. A seat is found where amethysts could stare at said glowing orbs, “suppose it’s not so bad....but you have to admit you keeping me stuck in this game has knocked a few screws loose.” Humans didn’t help either.

Bright in attitude it was the moon she’d been conversing with although all things stop as a cautious expression presents itself, neutral smile coming to focus. “...?” There was another soul coming to view; good she’s so b o r e d in this game.

It looked like such fun though. And it’s not like she hadn’t climed trees before. But she nodded and just stepped back from the large maple back to Sesshomaru’s side. She gave those high branches a few longing looks before she looked up at the man who recently had been giving her little tastes of freedom. It was nice to have someone paying attention to her. It took her mind off those horrible memories she was finally able to not think about every moment. Some times when she was with him she kind of felt like herself again. That was a nice feeling.

“Can we walk thought the park a little more? Before I go back?” Their visits with one another were becoming longer and longer but part of her didn’t want to get too attached in case he got bored of her. The older kids at the home told her he would. That’s why he didn’t just adopt her. He wanted to make sure she was worth it. But even with that part of her that told her not to she was attached. There was a bond there for her already and she thought there was something there on his side as well.
