4 Habits You Should Pick Up That Can Help Prevent Hair Loss
The path to happier and healthy hair is paved with good habits. While we always focus on cutting out the bad habits, never underestimate the power of a good habit! If you stick to good habits long enough, you might achieve goals that you never thought were possible. Whether trying to promote new growth with alopecia hair products or just build a thicker-looking style, here are four habits that can help you get the hair you’ve been dreaming of.
Tumblr media
Stimulate Your Scalp Stimulating your scalp can help awaken your hair follicles and may lead to improved growth. One of the best things about this habit is it’s easy to include into your daily routine. You can massage your scalp with your fingertips while shampooing or do it after your hair is dry. Take your massage to the next level with a scalp stimulator. Look for an oil with natural ingredients that provide vital nutrients to your scalp and can help revitalize your follicles. Over the long run, this habit can help you on your way to your dream style. Be Gentle When Styling Your Hair If you think about everything your hair goes through in a day, it might be understandable that it isn’t growing as much as you’d like. If you were battered with water and heat, tugged at, pulled around, and covered in product, you probably wouldn’t want to grow either. It’s essential to make sure you are gentle with your hair. Keep heat to a minimum, use as little product as possible, and stick to natural solutions. Look for detangler brushes and other tools designed for your hair type to help keep it protected and healthy. Add a Hair Oil to Your Routine Applying a hair-strengthening oil regularly can be one of the best habits to help promote growth and a fuller style. Look for an elixir formula that features a lot of natural ingredients. Things like vitamin B, C, or E, as well as minerals like copper and zinc, can promote thick, beautiful hair and seal in moisture to help reduce breakage and split ends. This might be the secret ingredient you’ve been looking for. Listen to What Your Hair Is Telling You This habit can really help you get in sync with your hair. While you can’t exactly call your hair and ask what’s up, you can check in now and again and see how your new habits are treating it. Take note of how it feels in the morning and at night. Is it getting thicker and growing faster? Or is it dull and lifeless? If your new habits don’t seem to be helping after a few weeks or months, it might be time to try something else. Remember, everybody is different—you need to find what works best for you, and you can do this by keeping track of your hair’s health. About Bask and Lather Bask and Lather started after a personal experience with hair loss. After her young sister began losing her hair, Shaina, the founder and CEO of Bask and Lather, sought to find a solution. The family met with specialists who believed there was nothing that could be done, so their mom took things into her own hands. She created a scalp oil and hair oil that worked to stimulate new growth. Suddenly, her daughter was growing fresh, healthy hair. To this day, the Bask and Lather Scalp Stimulator and Hair Elixir continue to achieve remarkable results. Proud users share their experiences and love the difference that Bask and Lather’s 4C hair products and alopecia hair products make. Growing 4C hair requires patience, consistency, and proper care.
4C hair tends to be drier than other hair types, so it's essential to keep it moisturized. Use a water-based leave-in conditioner or moisturizer to hydrate your hair daily or as needed.
  Protective styling:
Protect your hair in low-manipulation styles that minimize damage and breakage. Options like braids, twists, buns, or updos can help retain length by reducing the frequency of styling and manipulation.
  Gentle handling:
Treat your hair with care to prevent unnecessary breakage.
Avoid using harsh combs or brushes, and opt for wide-toothed combs or your fingers for detangling.
Be gentle when styling or manipulating your hair.
High Bun Hairstyles for Black Hair:
High-bun hairstyles are versatile and elegant, making them popular for black hair. Here are some ideas for creating stunning High Bun Hairstyles For Black Hair:
  Sleek Topknot:
Brush your hair into a high ponytail and twist it around the base to form a neat bun. Use bobby pins to secure it, and apply some gel or hairspray to tame flyaways. This style is perfect for formal events or professional settings.
  Braided High Bun:
Add some flair to your high bun by incorporating braids.
Start with a Dutch braid or French braid towards the crown of your head.
Gather the remaining hair into a high ponytail, twist it into a bun, and wrap the braid around it.
Secure it with bobby pins for an elegant and intricate look.
Protective Styles for Natural Short Hair:
Protective styles are a great way to promote hair growth and protect the ends of your natural short hair. Here are some options:
  Mini Twists:
Create small twists over your head using natural hair or extensions. Mini twists help to retain moisture and protect your hair from external damage.
Bantu Knots:
Section your hair and twist each section into a small knot close to the scalp. Bantu knots protect your hair and create beautiful curls when unraveled.
  Thin, Fine, Natural Black Hair:
If you have thin and fine natural black hair, here are some tips to enhance volume and manageability:
  Avoid heavy products:
Opt for lightweight, water-based products that won't weigh your hair down. Look for volumizing mousses or sprays that add body without causing build-up.
  Layered Haircuts:
Consider getting a layered haircut to add texture and volume to your hair. Layers create the illusion of thickness and make styling easier.
  Different Types of Curls:
There are Different Types Of Curls, each with its unique characteristics. Here are some common curl patterns:
  Loose Waves:
This curl pattern is characterized by gentle, loose S-shaped waves. It tends to have less definition and is commonly found in individuals with naturally straight or slightly wavy hair.
  S-Shaped Curls:
S-shaped curls have a more defined "S" pattern and are commonly seen in individuals with naturally wavy hair. They have a moderate curl, ranging from loose to more tightly coiled.
Corkscrew Curls: Corkscrew curls are tightly coiled and have a spiral or corkscrew-like shape. They are often called "kinky" or "coyly" curls and are common in individuals with 4C hair texture.

Short natural hair twist styles
Tumblr media
There isn’t a better way to twist your hair. Is it better to do two-strand twist on wet or dry hair? This expansion and shrinkage will eventually lead to frizz.Īnd lastly, try to reduce over-manipulation because it can lead to frizzy two-strand twists. You should also minimize how often you moisturize your hair, because water temporarily expands your hair and then shrinks it as water evaporates from your hair. To moisturize, use a water-based hair spray that doesn’t require rubbing the products on your hair as a cream-based moisturizer does. I prefer to wear a scarf so that my hair stays in one place and won’t move around so much while I sleep. So to prolong the smooth look of your hairstyle, you should always go to bed with a satin bonnet or a silk scarf. How can I keep my two-strand twists from getting frizzy?ĭepending on how you twist your hair, it can take up to a week before you start noticing some frizz. So to reduce the frizz, some women may wear a stocking over their head and just massage the scalp gently so that they don’t disturb the twists. The only thing is that your hair may frizz up, tangle, and start to turn into locs after you wash it. Yes, you can wash your hair while it’s in two-strand twists. Can you wash your hair with two-strand twists? You don’t have to put your hair in hair extensions to protect your hair. Yes, two-strand twists are a form of protective hairstyle, they are also known as a low manipulation hairstyle because you don’t need to do much with them, like twist-outs.Īny hairstyle that protects your hair from daily manipulation and protects your ends from rubbing against your clothes and shoulders is a protective style. Are two-strand twists a protective hairstyle? This way, you can have a more realistic expectation of how your twists should turn out, the next time you twist your hair. So while this blog focuses on 4c hair, I have decided to also show how two-strand twists look on looser hair textures like type 3 hair. This is why in this post, I will be sharing 60 different two-strand twist hairstyles that show how versatile this hairstyle is on different hair lengths and textures. The way your two-strand twists turns out depends on the texture of your hair, length, the health of your hair, and whether you twist on dry or wet hair. Why do my two-strand twists look different from a tutorial I saw online? Two-strand twists are also perfect for any woman or child on-the-go because they can last for a week or a month. These hairstyles also help promote growth, reduce breakage, prevent shrinkage, and retain moisture. They are also tension-free because you don’t need to pull on your scalp like other hairstyles such as cornrows. These hairstyles are so easy that a child can do them.Īlso, two-strand twists do not need added hair extensions, excess hair tools, or lots of products.Īll you need are your fingers and a twisting creamif you choose to twist on wet hair. Two-strand twists are popular in the natural hair community because they are easy to put in and take down.Īll you need are two strands of your hair that you simply wrap around each other. What are the benefits of two-strand twists that make them so popular? This is why I am excited to write this post about beautiful two-strand twist hairstyles you can style your natural hair in. In fact, you can find me in two-strand twists about 90% of the time that my natural hair is out. Natural hair twist styles for long and short hair Source:bravodotcom.Two-strand twists are the easiest form of protective hairstyle you can do on your natural hair because they are easy to put in and takedown.

Your hair is so gorgeous! How do you keep it healthy?
I leave it alone. 😂 No really. I leave it in protective twists and braids 90% or more of the time, as kinky hair is fragile and prone to breakage with daily handling. And i don’t use heat— i’ve only had my hair pressed once, by a professional who is very well researched. If I ever get it again, I’m only going back to a professional, and only doing it once or twice a year. I recommend checking out @ifshesopleases on IG as our hair and regimens are quite similar, and she has videos!
How I twist/protective style: I do this every couple weeks with a spray bottle of water and unrefined coconut oil (you should use whatever moisturizer and oil works for you), and after every shampoo/conditioning:
I take half of my hair and within that, I section off 2 to 3 parts. I start with one section and spray generously with warm water and add moisturizer and oil until it’s soft and workable, and then begin to detangle it from root to tip with a detangling brush. (Some people finger detangle but I don’t like it) I always handle my hair extremely gently. If it’s very tangled, I may split that section so that it’s smaller to work with.
After I am done, I always coil the ends around my finger and let go to “lock” them, although some people suggest wrapping them around a small perm or Flexi rod— either way it helps your ends to not create a nasty little knot party. I twist or braid the remaining sections until the entire half of my head is complete.
I take those three sections of twists/braids and treat them as strands to create one large braid or twist. I then repeat the process for the other half of my head. I can leave the two braids down if I want to wear them like that, but I usually pin them to my head so that they flatten overnight and I can fit the hair under wigs.
these days, I leave out a bit of my bangs in the front, which I wear duding the day and retwist for going to sleep. The whole head is detangled and I keep it like that for a few weeks. I take them down to redo them when they get very dry/fuzzy or to wash and redo them, or to style my hair with sets and/or wear down in a twist out.
It is suggested that you remoisturizing your ends every few days, and I try to do that but most of the time I forget. However my hair has still showing immense growth over the last however many years despite not being moisturized daily. This is because of how gently I treat it and low manipulation!
I’ve also been trying to switch up how I part it for a few weeks at a time.
I stretch my hair by taking it down while handling gently with oil on the hands of course, and then re-twisting in one or two large braids/twists, but not using water/moisturizer or brushing out. and I combine those sections from before to make the twists.
So whereas before, I might have three small twists making a braid, this time I actually just have three sections of twisted hair making the large braid, if that makes sense. Over the course of a night or two, the hair will be stretched out.
Whenever my hair is stretched from a set or a couple nights of stretching my twists, if I wear it out for a day, I ALWAYS put it back in a large braid or two, or pineapple it before sleeping. I never sleep with my hair loose, it leads to excess tangles! I sleep in a satin hair cap or scarf.
Products: Aside from water itself, I use about 6 products in total on my hair: coconut oil, setting lotion, Curls shampoo and conditioner, or leave-in, and on rare occasion a gel for edges if I ever feel like I want them laid. My hair is high density, the strands themselves are medium to fine thickness and I believe it’s medium porosity, with the textures on my scalp ranging from 3c to 4c, mostly being 4a and 4b. Up until a silk press from a trained professional in November 2021, I never used heat on my current hair— I recommend a VERY good deep conditioner if you do it more often.
That’s it! Just patience and leaving it alone most of the time. I used to live in a roller set protective style which I still think is a good option for some, but my hair is simply too long/dense now and would have quite a time drying. I live in the Midwest in a climate that seems to treat my hair well, and the water treatment in Chicago is decent enough for washing— I’ve heard that in some environments it’s very hard to get drier textures to thrive sadly.

They are one of the still standing OG brands! Of the products I’ve tried, I love and have repurchased their Daily Moisturizing Growth Lotion, their Aloe Curl Enhancing Twisting Cream and their Hair Growth Oil. How to clean your makeup brush?
Makeup routines are one of the favourite moments of many people who get ready in front of the mirror daily. It does not matter if you are a professional or a makeup fan. Within this area, the brushes are one of the instruments that cannot be missing and that not only facilitates but also improves the result. They come in all sizes and shape to make us work more precisely and exactly, and, like all good utensils, they must have optimal maintenance. The primary question is how to clean your makeup brush.
It may be one of the most tedious parts of the makeup routine, but from time to time, it is necessary to clean it to take care of the brush, the cosmetic, and, above all, your skin.
Why do you have to clean makeup brushes?
One of the questions most often asked by people who do makeup frequently is to know how often you have to clean your makeup brushes. Although it is not very common, it must be taken into account that brushes are a tool that you pass through your face practically daily, and, despite the fact that it is advisable always to keep the face and the case clean, it can become a nest of bacteria.
Also, if product residues remain in each pass, the result you get when you apply makeup will be better than if the brush were clean. Cleaning makeup brushes, therefore, helps them to stay in good condition much longer, prevents the cosmetic product from being damaged, makes the application of the cosmetic more accurate, and, above all, protects the skin from possible infections Or irritations.
How to store makeup brushes
When talking about keeping your makeup brushes stored, the most important thing is to get a cosmetic bag or case in which they can all be aligned so that the bristles do not get tangled up. Also, they should be in a vertical position so that if there is a risk of moisture, it does not accumulate. You can design the case yourself or buy it directly to store brushes.
Try to clean all your brushes at least once a month so that they last longer, and before putting them back in their case, make sure that they are completely dry so that the bristles do not deteriorate due to humidity.
How to style afro hair
Afro hair tends to tangle. Although there is straight Afro hair, the truth is that the definitive characteristic of 4c afro hair is curly. It may be slightly wavy or completely kinky, but there will almost always be curls in natural Afro hair.
This feature makes it necessary to get two small aids: a moisturizing lotion to facilitate combing and a detangling comb, either in its version of a long and narrow comb with long spikes or in its flat version, a kind of fat but hollow plastic brush in its interior. They will also tell you how to grow an afro.
The detangling oil, which can be one of the many natural oils available, such as coconut, castor, olive, and rosemary, will be your ally to detangle and moisturize the hair before washing it. But let's go in parts.

Keep It Juicy 💦 Spray-On Leave-In Sealing Conditioner
The fast absorbing, follicle softening, end sealing, shine enhancing, crown honoring, spray on, leave in conditioner of your dreams.
The fast absorbing, follicle softening, end sealing, shine enhancing, crown honoring, spray on, leave in conditioner of your dreams.
Does this sound like you?:
Ain't nobody got time for that
Look I'm about to cut all this poofy s*it off if I don't figure out what to do with my hair
Ugh I just went natural
All I ever wear is a twist out
I do my hair daily
I have hard water
I keep my hair in cornrows under my wig
My real hair wigs need a refresh
My hair is always so crunchy
These dreads are getting brittle
I just want to keep my hair healthy while it grows long
Then you need to Keep It Juicy spray conditioner.
Why I made this: I keep my hair 100% natural. Every couple of weeks I have to sit down with Nappy & Happy conditioner and my Liquid Gold oil mix it together. But before that I got to jump in the shower and get my hair wet. It's this whole thing and I really wanted to simplify it. Keep it juicy puts all that into 1 bottle. Just spray, rub in, and style.
This is a 16oz Spray Bottle
Shelf life is min. 1 Year
How to use: Usage is simply based how your hair feels/looks. I often find my 4c naps needs a refresh for fuzziness before it dries out, roughly every 4 days. Spray a couple spots down the length of your hair, and rub in with you finger tips.
Made with: water, avocado oil, castor oil, emulsifying wax, sea salt, jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, isopropyl myristate, agave
germall plus - organic preservative [.5%] (Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate), potassium sulfate, potassium metabisulfite, citric acid
HOW IT WORKS:
Avocado oil - comes from the bright green pulp of my favorite fruit. Often compared to olive oil, avocado oil is rich with fatty acids, proteins, lecithin, beta-carotene, folate, potassium, plus vitamins K, C, B5, B6, and E. It's a nutrient heavy fat that's a great option for healthier hair, skin, nails and heart.
Castor oil - has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties to fight scalp infections and their symptoms: bald patches, itchy scalp, flakes, thinning, follicle shut down.
Seals split ends and smooths hair follicles. Penetrates deeper into both nails, skin, scalp, and hair follicles carrying any nutrients it's infused with. Thickens, plumps stands, resulting in brighter, shinier, more vibrant hair color - natural and colored. For nails, the benefits are the same resulting in strong, long growth! Nutrient rich: high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and omega-6 and -9 beneficial fatty acids. Unusually high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it incredibly beneficial to nails, skin and hair.
Sea Salt - Sea water is packed with all the nutrients necessary for life. Sea salt distils and concentrates them for use in food, cosmetics, and more. The nutritional wealth of sea salt includes vital minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, bromide, chloride, iron, copper, and zinc, among other beneficial elements. Sea salt helps in improving the skin barrier function and eliminating the roughness and inflammation on the skin’s surface. Studies have shown that this anti-inflammatory effect is attributed to the presence of a high content of magnesium in these salts. Sea salts are naturally anti-allergenic and are considered beneficial in providing relief from asthma and other allergies. Sea salt baths also alleviate the risk of infections and contribute towards the overall immunity of the body. Sea salts are also effective in treating conditions like hives, skin rashes, dandruff, and hair loss.
Jojoba - Very similar to the natural oil or sebum humans create. It's molecularly a liquid wax and helps create a seal over tissues. Some of the most notable benefits of jojoba oil include its ability to moisturize the hair, prevent hair loss, reduce inflammation, prevent acne, soothe sunburn and psoriasis, rejuvenate the skin, eliminate dandruff, fight free radical damage, boost the immune system and speed up the healing process. Jojoba oil is rich in iodine, which fights harmful bacteria growth that leads to breakouts. The antioxidants present in jojoba oil soothe fine lines, wrinkles and naturally slow down other signs of aging. Jojoba oil contains beneficial ingredients, including vitamin E, vitamin B complex - High in B5, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc. It has a very high percentage of iodine at 82 percent, which gives jojoba oil its power to heal. It contains three fatty acids: erucic (13.6 percent), gadoleic (71.3 percent) and oleic (11.2 percent).
Apricot kernel oil - is a great emollient moisturizer. Reduces inflammation when applied topically. High in vitamin e & k. Helps even skin tone by nutritionally supporting cellular regeneration. High in fatty acids. Nourishes nails and hair.
Blue agave is the plant used to make tequila. It's a sweet plant native to the wild deserts of the Americas. In Mexican tradition, it's known to help reduce wrinkles, and build strength, resiliency, and elasticity to the hair. It's usually sold in nectar form, a thick brown syrup. It's naturally high in calcium, isoflavonoid, alkaloids, coumarin and vitamins B1, B2, C, D and K, and provitamin A. It's also home to a substance called saponins. They're natural surfactants, cleaners that help break down dirt and oils. They're also one of the best known natural stimulants of hyaluronic acid.

UNice: Remy Hair vs Non Remy Hair,Which One Is Better?
Tumblr media
Remy Hair Vs Non Remy Hair, Which One Is Better, It is no doubt that the answer is remy hair. REMY hair is a smoother, shinier, and healthier appearance than NON–REMY hair.Remy hair give your more natural and beautiful look.True remycan last longer than non remy hair, it will save lot money for you.
In detail, What is remy hair,
The term “REMY” is referred to the characteristics of the hair extensions. Remy is Human Hair and is the highest grade of real, human hair that is a preferred choice for hair extensions because it achieves the most natural look. Good remy hair is considered to be the finest quality of human hair because the cuticles are kept intact and not stripped which means the hair follicles all go in one single direction. Preserving the hairs” cuticles and aligning them in a unidirectional fashion creates extensions that are completely natural in appearance.
Tumblr media
The model above is wearing the body wave with lace frontal hair closure. I just love how natural hair looks and feels. Remy hair is collected in a method in which all hair strands stay aligned in the natural direction as it grew (i.e. holding the hair in a ponytail and cutting), top at top, and ends at ends, to maintain the natural texture pattern and cuticle direction. This process ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, silky and this eliminates tangling problems. Remy hair is only lightly processed hence Remy Human Hair extensions should last up to a lifetime with regular maintenance. The Non-Remy type of hair is usually collected from hair brushes and hair that has fallen on the floor. Because of the method of collection, the cuticle for each hair strand tends to be in all different directions Characteristics of Remy Hair:
All of the hair cuticles are aligned and running in the same direction
It is collected in a way where all the hair strands stay aligned
Does not tangle or matte over time
Can take longer to manufacture
It’s more expensive because it is in short supply
What is non remy hair,
Non Remy hair is human hair that is collected from multiple sources. Non Remy is sold in its raw state and also as a finished product. In raw form the cuticles are intact but they flow in opposite directions.
Tumblr media
This can cause tangling and quality issues if not processed properly. Finished Non Remy selections have had the cuticles descaled and all hairs are similar in length giving each piece a thick luscious appearance. Characteristics of Non-Remy hair:
Usually contains shedded hair from brushes and off the floor
Thin at the ends
Contains split ends
It will tangle and matte over a short amount of time
It only lasts a few weeks to a month
It is cheap because it is in great supply
What’s the difference between remy and non remy,
Price.Wholesale Remy virgin hair is generally more expensive. It is hair that is shaved off the donors head and bundled in such a manner that all the hair is kept in one direction. By doing so, the cuticles of the hair do not get roughed up as much and stay smooth. Natural look.Remy hair looks healthier- it shines, it is soft and natural. Non-remy hair will shed, tangle and matte very quickly. Maintenance. Remy hair is easy to maintain its texture, luster and natural look. While, since the cuticle runs in both directions it requires a higher concentration of acid. Eventually resulting in hair with very low moisture, leading to dry straw-like hair. Longevity. Non-remy hair does not last as long as virgin remy human hair. They typically last about several months with daily wear. Versatile. ASs for remy human hair , you can try out various colors and styles, while, this is not recommended for non remy hair.Because it will reduce the hair use life.

How tell the difference between remy hair and non-remy hair,
1Remy hair is collected in a method in which all hair strands stay aligned in the natural direction as it grew from root to tip. this it is easy for you to comb especially after washing. 2 Non-remy hair is collected from the floor of temples and hair salons. Cuticle directions become mixed, causing tangling and matting. To disguise this the hair will go through an acid bath to completely strip the cuticle, similar to relaxing your hair about a dozen times.
3So, in a nutshell, try finger combing the hair and check the tangling against your own hair, and look for the telltale signs of very shiny smooth hair. Hair is not like that in reality!
Remy vs non remy, which one is better,
Remy hair has a smoother, shinier, and healthier appearance than NON-REMY hair.True remy and virgin hair are usually more expensive, but will last longer. Your budget will determine which type of hair extensions you buy. If you can, it is well worth the cost to buy Remy hair and it will last you a very long time if properly maintained.

Well, I’m not sure if all readers agree with my opinion but I believe you won’t tell me ‘Hair is Hair’ again after seeing my views.
Hair. It’s important to most women, for Black women in particular, a hairstyle can often be viewed less as an aesthetic choice.. So here to educate on the basics of Black women’s hair. There are so many possibilities of places you can get your hair bundles. There are so many types available and so many methods of fitting them that makes the world of hair extensions a confusing place. Hair extensions are all the same right, Wrong.
Why so many different hair types,
You need to understand that human hair is an umbrella term for all kinds of hair sourced from humans. Then comes the type of human hair and that is what makes it all confusing. When speaking of types, there are many ways to categorize human hair. There are different types of hair to make hair extensions. In the common sense, the raw materials can be divided into 2 main kinds, human hair and synthetic hair.

For human hair, it can also be divided into 3 qualities, non-remy human hair, remy human hair and virgin human hair. Besides, there are several kinds of synthetic hair, such as Toyokalon fiber, polupropylene fiber and kanekalon fiber. Human hair extensions are just that, extensions that were made from a person or persons who have donated their hair. According to hair country Firstly, it is the texture that largely depends on the region the strands are sourced from. For instance, Indian hair, Peruvian hair, Malaysian hair, etc. All of these categories are associated with the origin and that is what impacts the natural look and texture. According to hair texture There are many types:body wave, curly, straight, deep weave, loose and so on.What are the types of human hair besides straight, wavy, curly and frizzy,
Tumblr media
Actually, hair is divided into different categories, a number and then a a letter. flat straight hair is 1a, while tight coily hair can be a 3c. It ranges all the way up to 4c, I believe. I would say “frizzy, ” or “wavy” are just adjectives for your hair. However, the origin is not the only thing that effects the quality. The method in which the hair is collected also impacts the overall look and quality of your extensions. According to hair material Virgin hair weaving is chemically unprocessed human hair , which is collected from single donor. The virgin hair is remy hair that has not been altered by dyes, perms , bleaches or harsh washes
Tumblr media
So REMY is basically that method, and it is the most effective one to say the least. That is because Remy hair is collected without losing the cuticles and the natural direction of the hair strands. REMY is usually collected from temples and places where people voluntarily donate their hair. Non-remy ones are likely to be collected from hair brushes and salon bins. So they aren’t necessarily in their best shape.

“Why does my hair stay dry” ❓This is our most asked question when chatting with our customers via website & dm. ⠀ ➡️Simple answer is because “ You’re not keeping your hair hydrated “✅ ⠀ Think of it like this. We drink a certain amount of 💦 water /fluids daily to avoid dehydration. The same should be done to our hair. You have to hydrate your hair daily to avoid constant drying out ( dehydration). Especially 4a-4C hair types. ⠀ If you only drink 💦 water only when you’re dehydrated it’s too late the damage is already done,The same is also true for our hair. If you only Moisturize your hair when it’s dry , it’s too late❌ ⠀ You must hydrate your hair to keep it moisturized #krowndolls #healthyhairtips #mynaturalhair (at Chicago, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7JPOo3pUBV/?igshid=1h1xyaae1a6ba
