𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿 - 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗽.

𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲:

• 200g self raising flour

• 50g Margarine

• 120ml milk

• Pinch of salt (if you want to make it sweet add 60g sugar)

𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙 for the dough.

Measure everything out and mix the butter between your fingers to make a fine crumble, make a 'well' in the middle of the bowl then pour the milk in slowly to a dough consistency, take out the bowl and use flour if too sticky when rolling out.

𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 & 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿 -

1) When you've made your dough you use a two-inch biscuit cutter.

2) As it's a sweet version I added chocolate chips but you could add cinnamon before baking too for a different flavour!

3) If you're using tinned fruit you can just add straight to your dish, drained, without prep but fresh fruit requires peeling.

4) Add your dough round the edge on top of the fruit and put in the oven for about 20 minutes - add a lil' sugar on top for je nais se quois 🤌

𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮

1) Using the same dough (but without the sugar/chocolate chips) you roll it out to a thin layer (I prefer it thinner)

2) Add tomato puree and drained chopped tomatoes for the topping.

3) Basically use any topping you prefer - I used quarter of a pepper and 150g grated cheese but if you wanted Pepperoni etc then go for it.

4) If you fancy a stuffed crust you simply fold cheese over at the crust, if a calzone style you fold it in half and use a fork to pinch the edges together.

5) Cook for 25 minutes.

Food Delivery 💯 . There’s no question that food and restaurant prices are rising with the rest of the economy . Whether due to shortages (eggs, anyone?), higher wages or simply inflation, it’s always nice to find a more economical way to eat more food . I’ve been a long time Foodie Earth (thanks to @siliconvalleyfoodie for the long ago red) and it makes even more sense now . By focusing on select restaurants each day and each meal, they lower delivery costs compared to DoorDash and Uber Eats . I also love their restaurant selection that focuses on both high quality, trending and ethnic restaurants .
