These are some more headcanons <3

⭐- his Cg nickname is papa!

⭐- he would be a chaos cg! Who cares about rules! He doesn't! The only rules would be there to keep you safe!

⭐- your his prince(ss) so he will treat you with royalty!

⭐- he carries your drawings with him in his pockets.

⭐- he's old fashioned and has a wallet photo album and he would definitely show it off to praise you/show how adorable you are! (All filled with discrete pictures to be safe)

⭐- he is really dramatic! And it would always make you giggle

⭐- he's way to protective it's actually cute! He would make sure nothing sharp is near you and his heart always jumps whenever you trip a little or gets little to close to sharp corners

⭐-he would never talk you down when you get hurt and is always gentle. After he patches you up he would carry you (even if you feel all better)

⭐- when you babble he always responds with flare.

⭐-when you tell him drama from your stuff animals. He acts all offended like "how dare Mr. Sniffles push Mrs. Bunny!"and would ask if you wanted him to show them a lesson (which makes you giggle)

⭐- idk if I put this is part 1 but he spoils you.

⭐- he now sports painted nails thanks to you and he loves it!

⭐- in public he allows you to hold his hand(or finger) and finds its adorable

⭐- if someone is being mean to you he fiercely protests you then takes you out for ice cream

⭐- he would spoon feed you if you say please and don't stop asking him! (He rolls his eyes when he does so but has a tiny smile because he feels needed)

⭐- he would make sure you are always drinking water

⭐-if hes at work while you are small he would text you a lot! And he would tell you to do things! Like get dressed, eat, drink, and watch tv or color or play!

⭐- he would allow you to join him in pranking Dan (or if it's season 3 Marcus) but takes all the credit so you don't get any heat from it!

⭐- he would wear any friendship bracelets you make him even if it doesn't match his outfit because he knows it would make you sad if he doesnt

⭐- he loves to tell dad jokes and puns!

⭐- if he really needed someone to babysit you the people he would most prefer in order would be: Ella, Chloe, Linda, Maze, Amenadel

⭐- he gives out sticker rewards! Rewards for what? Whatever he deemed good! Finished your food? Sticker! Finished your water? Sticker! Wasn't being a brat? Sticker! Was being a brat but apologies? Sticker! Being adorable? Sticker!

Father Figure! Lucifer x Teen! Reader

Chapter Five: I'm a Goddam Person

Summary: (Y/N) is attacked, and Lucifer and Chloe's friendship breaks.

            Chloe groaned as her phone rang. It was bad enough they had no leads on their latest murder since every clue led to a dead end and someone with no reason to kill her. Now Chloe was close to tears as Lucifer called out how she had spoken to Kinley and knew that she had a vial that could sedate, if not kill him. Lucifer had even tried to drink it despite Chloe’s attempts to convince him it was nothing. She hated how betrayed he appeared as he gazed at her in furious silence.

            But Chloe was on a case, and when she saw Dan’s name as the caller, she answered it. Her eyes widened as he related the information to her. She turned to Lucifer even as he glared at her in betrayal. “Lucifer, I know you’re upset, and I swear I can explain everything, but we need to get to Oscar’s house. He’s the killer, and he’s trying to escape.”

            Lucifer scoffed. “Fine. Put off getting rid of me by getting rid of a murderer.” He turned away from her and sullenly got into her car.

            Chloe let out a sad sigh. She had really messed up. And she wasn’t sure if she could fix things this time.

            Both Lucifer and Chloe were silent as they arrived at Oscar’s house. The lights were off, and Chloe entered the unlocked home with no issue. There was no one around.

            “Well, no one’s here. Don’t tell me you brought me here to get rid of me with no one looking? That would be low, even for you, Detective,” said Lucifer venomously.

            “Lucifer, I swear, I’m not going to hurt you. I don’t know why no one’s here, but I’m not trying to hurt you. I promise. You have to believe me,” said Chloe, trying to get control of the spiraling situation again.

            Her phone went off again, and Chloe answered in frustration. “Yes?”

            Ella’s hurried voice came over the speaker. “Chloe! We just got Oscar’s records in, and we just found the weirdest thing. The house he lives in is owned by the Catholic Church, he’s been visiting a certain church regularly, and a priest named Kinley has been paying his rent to the church for him.”

            Chloe’s eyes widened at the mention of Kinley.

            “Ella, he’s not here,” said Chloe.

            “I’ll get Dan and track down where else he could be. Maybe he has another place to stay,” said Ella. “Somewhere he actually owns.”

            Chloe paled as she made a terrible connection. “I know where he is. Get backup to Lux.” She hung up.

            “Backup to Lux? Detective, what’s going on?” said Lucifer, narrowing his eyes.

            “Oscar is being paid by Kinley.” Chloe looked away from Lucifer’s face and took a deep breath. “He’s most likely on his way to Lux thinking you might be there.”

            Lucifer froze. “(Y/N).” He was out the door before Chloe said anything else. His kid was in danger.

            (Y/N) felt the shadows around them bristle wildly when a bang went off in the living room. They reacted instantly, rolling from their seat at the table and landing on the ground. They pulled themself behind the island and glanced up at the mirror hung behind the bar. A man was looking around the Penthouse with a gun. (Y/N)’s blood ran cold. Lucifer was out. Em wasn’t home. (Y/N) was alone with someone trying to kill them? Lucifer? They couldn’t be sure, but they had a feeling it really didn’t matter. The man had a gun. He could hurt them at the very least.

            “Where is it?” muttered the man frantically. “Father Kinley said the abomination would be here. I must do my duty…”

            Abomination? That’s a new one, thought (Y/N). Usually, their parents had just called them a disappointment, and some kids called them slurs.

            (Y/N) moved around the bar as the man continued through the room, trying to avoid being seen. The man caught their eye in the mirror, and both froze.

            Bang!

            The man pivoted and shot at (Y/N). They scrambled away, and the shadows pulled up from the ground to create a brief shield. It shattered as the bullet hit it, but the lead fell to the ground with the pieces of shadow as (Y/N) made a run for another room.

            Another shot nearly hit them, and (Y/N) turned on instinct, stumbling to the ground and pulling back as the man advanced on them, finger still on the trigger.

            “What the hell do you want with me, you crazy fuck?!” shouted (Y/N). Stupid? Yes. Great distraction? Also yes.

            “I am sent to avenge the Earth and stop Armageddon!” said the man, pointing the gun at them. “I will end evil and send you to Hell where you belong.”

            He pulled the trigger, and (Y/N) shouted in fear. Another wall of shadows pulled up, and the man stared in shock at the moving darkness swirling around (Y/N).

            “Monster! Abomination!” he cried as the shadows protected (Y/N). “Freak!”

            (Y/N) snapped at the word freak. That was what their biological parents had called them. Every time (Y/N) didn’t live up to their expectations or fit into their mold of a “normal” kid, they were a freak. (Gender, clothes, attitude, everything and anything about (Y/N) was wrong wrong wrong to them). (Y/N) despised it.

            “Don’t call me freak,” hissed (Y/N), the shadows sharpening around them. The man stepped back. “I am not a freak! I’m a goddam person!”

            Their eyes flashed red, and the man cried out, stumbling backwards at the side. (Y/N)’s shadows overtook the room, and the man’s eyes widened as he stared at the definitely not human being before him.

            “M-Monster!” cried the man in absolute terror.

            Pure darkness saturated the room. There was no light, just (Y/N)’s fiery glare. They felt the itch of their wings wanting to appear, but (Y/N) pushed it back. They weren’t ready for that. But obscuring every bit of sunlight and turning the penthouse into a maze of shadow controlled by their own mind? Absolutely. The look of fear on their attackers face just made it better. It was partly rage pushing their powers so far, but it was also practiced precision at a grander scale.

            “Monster? Me?!” hissed (Y/N), and the man cowered. “You came in here and tried to shoot me! The only monster here is you!”

            The door of the penthouse dinged, and Lucifer and Chloe ran in. Lucifer paused, eye’s wide, and Chloe froze. The entire penthouse was bathed in darkness, bullet holes sat in the wall beside (Y/N), and they were standing over a terrified man with a fallen gun at his side.

            “(Y/N)?” called Lucifer, more concerned about him than worried.

            (Y/N)’s eyes went to him, and the darkness receded until just their own shadow remained. “Dad!” they said in relief, and then they collapsed from exhaustion. Lucifer ran forward and caught them.

            “Detective Decker, get that filth out of my sight,” hissed Lucifer, glaring at the man.

            Chloe broke from her shock. Her eyes followed (Y/N) where they took deep breaths in Lucifer’s arms. To see (Y/N) do that was nearly as shocking as Lucifer’s face had been, if not more so since Lucifer had been honest about being the Devil. (Y/N) had never acted anything but human.

            “Right.”

            Chloe cared about (Y/N), and she didn’t want them to be hurt by Oscar. She hauled him up and handcuffed him quickly. This would protect (Y/N), and it would show Lucifer that she was okay with him, with (Y/N). She wasn’t going to hurt them. Now she could see why he was so betrayed. It wasn’t just him that had abilities that could frighten humans. It was (Y/N). And Lucifer was a father. He would put (Y/N)’s safety above his own.

            Oscar struggled against Chloe as she pulled him to the elevator. “Monster! Abomination! I must rid the world of your evil! I must stop Armageddon! I must kill the abomination!”

            Lucifer’s arms tightened around (Y/N). He turned their face away. “You’re not an abomination,” he promised. “You’re a good kid. You’re okay.”

            And even in the face of so much hatred, (Y/N) felt safe in their dad’s arms.

            “Father Kinley?” Chloe walked purposefully into the church, and Kinley and Bishop Hoffman turned to face her.

            “Ah, Detective Decker, just the person I’d like to see,” said Kinley. He smiled. “I need you to explain to Bishop Hoffman here what you saw on Lucifer Morningstar’s face.”

            “That’s not why I’m here.” Chloe pulled out her handcuffs. “I’m here about Oscar Rivas.”

            Kinley paled. “What?”

            “You worked in the same parish as him. Quite the coincidence. And you were helping him pay his rent to the Catholic Church,” said Chloe.

            “He’s a good man. A true believer. I was simply rewarding his dedication,” said Kinley.

            “His dedication? You mean his willingness to kill to people and attempt to kill an innocent teenager?” said Chloe.

            “(Y/N) (L/N) is not innocent. They are evil, an abomination upon this Earth,” seethed Kinley.

            Chloe’s eyes narrowed, and Hoffman’s eyes widened in horror.

            “Then you admit to knowing who you sent Oscar Rivas to kill,” said Chloe. “You’re under arrest.” She pulled out her handcuffs.

            Kinley scoffed. “Bishop, tell her she’s ridiculous. I had no such connections to Oscar.”

            Hoffman shook his head in horror. “A child, William? I’m sorry, but you’re sick, William.”

            Chloe had hoped talking would help them. Lucifer had hoped for the same. But even after Kinley was arrested and (Y/N) was safe, their relationship couldn’t reconcile. There had been too much, and there were too many emotions attached to sort through.

            “You’re the actual Devil, Lucifer.” Chloe was crying. “Every story of good and bad from throughout history, throughout time, says that you are the embodiment of evil.” All of her confused thoughts about Lucifer spilled out of her heart. “And how am I, Chloe Decker, a nobody, supposed to deal with that?!”

            “And what about (Y/N)? Are you going to think they’re evil for their abilities, too?” said Lucifer softly, broken.

            “No! No, no, that’s a child. A good, innocent child,” swore Chloe. “They’ve proved time and time again they’re good.”

            “And I’ve been the evil the world says I am?” said Lucifer.

            “I…” Chloe wasn’t sure how to respond. She’d seen Lucifer’s anger and ferocity as much as she’d seen his kindness and openness. “They said you’re evil—!”

            Lucifer scoffed and stepped back from her. He turned his back.

            “But then I returned,” continued Chloe softly. “And I saw you. I really saw you. And I remembered how you made me feel. And I realized, Lucifer, you’re not that guy.”

            “No?” Lucifer couldn’t believe his words. He couldn’t afford to. Not when the betrayal had hurt so much to begin with.

            “No,” said Chloe.

            “What if I am that guy?” challenged Lucifer.

            “That guy wouldn’t be the good father to (Y/N) that you are,” said Chloe. “And if you think you are, then you can change.”

            “But what if I can’t?” He faced Chloe again. His Devil Face appeared, and she flinched away. “Could you accept me like this?”

            “I…uh…” Chloe wasn’t ready to make eye contact with the Devil, yet. “You have no idea how much I want to,” she said honestly. She faced him bravely. “I do. I’m…I’m trying.”

   ��        “But could you?”

            Tears rolled down Chloe’s cheeks. “I don’t know.”

            Lucifer’s human face returned, and he scoffed lightly to avoid his own sadness from showing. Tears threatened to fall. “Then I have my answer.”

            There would be no reconciliation that night.

            “Lucifer and Decker aren’t going to make up, are they?” murmured (Y/N), sighing and putting their head in their hands.

            “Tonight was a big scare,” said Em. “You could’ve died. I think the boss is scared about Kinley and his influence on people. Other people could try to hurt you, and let’s face it, you’re the boss’s top priority.”

            “But Decker wouldn’t,” said (Y/N).

            “They’re both scared,” said Em, shrugging. “Decker still isn’t sure around the boss, and the boss feels betrayed. I think it’s gonna take time.”

            “…I wish that didn’t make sense,” said (Y/N).

            “I wish it didn’t, either,” said Em. She glanced at (Y/N) and cleared her throat. “Uh, for what it’s worth, I’m sorry that I wasn’t here when you were in danger.”

            (Y/N) put a hand out on Em’s arm. “It’s okay, really. I don’t expect you to always be there. And I took care of it.”

            “But I feel so stupid because I want to help you, and I was gone for a really silly reason.” Em turned a bit red, and they stood up. She opened her back and pulled out something. “I had gone out to buy these.” They turned around to hold a bouquet of red tulips. “I feel stupid, now, but they were for you.”

            (Y/N) fought not to turn pink and failed abominably. “Me?”

            Em cleared her throat. “Yeah. I wanted to…” They trailed off and groaned. “Damn, this is so stupid, this isn’t the time.”

            “Go ahead, Em,” said (Y/N), leaning forward. “I’m doing fine.”

            “I wanted to ask if you wanted to go to Homecoming,” admitted Em. “I thought the flowers would be nice, but now there was this attack, and you’re tired and probably in shock, so I just feel stupid—”

            “Oh, shut up.” (Y/N) rolled their eyes fondly. “I’d like to go with you, Em. Homecoming would be fun with you.”

            Em turned a bit red and averted her gaze. “Well, we’d also be with Leon, Marcel, Olive, and Noa, so you don’t have to feel that pressured, it’s okay—”

            “Seriously, shut up. I wouldn’t say yes if I didn’t want to.” (Y/N) smiled at Em.

            “Great! Great.” It was amusing to see Em stumble over her words. “Uh, here.” They awkwardly held out the flowers, and (Y/N) took it.

            The night had been terrible, and Lucifer and Chloe were struggling, but (Y/N) and Em had found some good in all the tragedy.

            Kinley finished his prayers and stood up as Bishop Hoffman entered the room of his holding cell. “Your Excellency. Did you change your mind? Are you here to get me out?”

            “I am here to take your confession,” said Hoffman diligently.

            “I have nothing to confess,” said Kinley.

            “William,” said Hoffman. “You are responsible for the deaths of two people and the near-death of a third, a child. For what?”

            “I’m trying to save lives,” said Kinley, as convinced and passionate as ever. “To stop the prophecy.” Hoffman shook his head in exhaustion as Kinley repeated the prophecy. “ ‘When the Devil walks the Earth and finds his first love, evil shall be released.’ ”

            “Enough with this damn prophecy you’re obsessed with,” said Hoffman.

            “The Devil is walking the Earth,” said Kinley.

            “His Holiness has issued an order,” said Hoffman, interrupting Kinley. “You’ve been excommunicated.”

            Kinley looked down but kept his decorum. “I…may have failed, temporarily, to prove that Lucifer is the Devil, but I nearly removed his first love.”

            “That child?” Hoffman looked at Kinley, aghast.

            “He sees them as his own child with a true paternal love. They are the prophecy coming true,” said Kinley in deep conviction. “They must be pushed apart and removed. The Antichrist cannot be allowed to walk the Earth alongside the Devil.”

            Hoffman sighed. “Lucifer Morningstar is not the Devil, and (Y/N) (L/N) is not the Antichrist. Give up this foolish obsession. Make your confession. Ask God for forgiveness for your sins.”

            Kinley stared solemnly at Hoffman. “I will not ask forgiveness for being right.”

            Lucifer held his head in his hands, and a drink sat abandoned on the coffee table. The moon was high in the sky above him, but he had no idea how long he’d been sitting there, stuck on the rift between him and Chloe.

            “Are you okay?”

            He looked up to see (Y/N), wrapped in a red throw blanket, looking at him. He forced on a smile. “I should be asking you that.”

            (Y/N) sat down next to him. “You know I’m okay. I was mostly just shaken by how strong my abilities were.” They looked at him before he could open his mouth. “But I’m more worried about you.”

            Lucifer sighed. “It seems the Detective and I have reached an impasse. She still can’t accept who I am.”

            “I think she accepts more than you think,” said (Y/N). They nudged his shoulder. “You guys will be okay.”

            Lucifer smiled slightly. “So optimistic,” he said fondly.

            “Me? No. I have too much mental illness for optimism. But I do believe in truth, and you and Decker will be fine. I’m sure,” said (Y/N).

            Lucifer smiled. “You’ll have to believe for the both of us.”

            “No problem,” said (Y/N), smiling back. They spread out their blanket around their dad. “I have to take care of you, too.”

            Lucifer pulled his kid closer. “That’s my job.”

            “Sure, Dad, sure.” (Y/N) rolled their eyes and hugged him back. “Keep telling yourself that after all the problems I’ve solved for you.”

            Lucifer let out a light chuckle. He was glad to have (Y/N) with him. They were really his kid in everything but blood. They meant the world to him.

            Lucifer paused and looked down at (Y/N). Wasn’t adoption an option…?

hi! i know it's not in your fandoms but do you think you could do headcanons for regressor Lucifer Morningstar (from the netflix/fox show Lucifer)? obviously okay if you can't or don't want to of course :) Hope you have a great day/night!

hi!! it’s been a couple of years since i’ve seen the show, so I’m sorry if these are a bit lacking, but here’s what i could come up with!!

-Lucifer doesn’t really have a word for his regressing, it’s more so something that just happens

-he doesn’t talk about it. he’s the king of hell, after all, people can’t know that he likes fuzzy pajamas and children’s toys

-Amenadiel is his first caregiver. he’s always seen Lucifer as the unruly little brother, so it’s no surprise that he figures it out first

-he spends a lot of time making sure lil Lucifer doesn’t get into too much trouble

-Lucifer loves getting into trouble. big Lucifer is practically a saint compared to the menace that regressed!Lucifer is

-that’s how Chloe gets roped into being a caregiver as well

-and how Ella and Dan end up as babysitters

-Lucifer just kind of collects babysitters tbh

-Ella doesn’t really know what’s going on. she just sees Lucifer acting a bit different and decides to roll with it

-they have lots of fun together!! there’s not as much mischief as Lucifer would like, but he’s happy being babysat by her

-Dan is just the epitome of a Tired Dad™️

-that poor man

-he’s not even a full-on caregiver but he’s so tired

-(does Lucifer act up around Dan bc he thinks it’s funny? yes ofc)

-Lucifer and Trixie are best‼️ friends‼️

-they paint each others nails and make friendship bracelets and give each other glitter makeovers and play games together!!! they’re besties!!!

-Maze and Lucifer get up to so much trouble together

-while Lucifer and Trixie are cutesy best friends, Lucifer and Maze are chaos best friends

-it’s even more chaotic when Maze is also regressed

-at the end of they day they both end up sleeping for like 12 hours because they’re both so tired from running around and causing trouble

Touching on how this also happens in real life, where people ship real life people together and how that can damage their friendship? (Dan and Phil, One Direction, Buzzfeed Unsolved etc) How Ladybug and Chat Noir don’t owe their fans information, and don’t owe them a canon relationship. Idk

Or even Chloe’s relationship with Ladybug, how she was a big fan who was given the chance to be like her idol.

the relationships--platonic, romantic, sexual, parent-to-child, all of them--is the absolute best thing about this show and what keeps me here even when shit gets dumb. the friendship between all the ladies is my fave, but i was extra fond of dan this run and his friendships with amenadiel and chloe were just 10/10. i always liked that he and chloe didn't fall into the hostile ex tropes and were good friends who could co-parent

s3 remains my least favorite and the biggest slog to get through imo, but i still get a kick out of the episode with the undercover sting that has lucifer and pierce pretending to be a couple

s4 also remains my favorite--i feel like it just best encapsulates everything that drew me into the show in the first place

perhaps an unpopular opinion, but i was never a big fan of deckerstar being a fully realized thing. it's obvious that was always gonna be the endgame, but i just like the dynamic between chloe and lucifer a lot more as platonic partners with a little sexual tension and a lot of good-natured ribbing

s6 has some individually good moments, like eve and maze getting hitched--although i saw some people say that came out of nowhere and i respectfully disagree. they're both incredibly impulsive, i think it was very fitting and adorable, and I'm getting teary-eyed again thinking about maze realizing she is capable of loving and deserving of being loved

but anyway the A plot is built off a premise i hate so much: time travel. i loathe time-traveling shit in stories like this, where could it be explained as plausible (and they try, with chloe, i think, pointing out like 'well your brother can freeze time, is this really that much different?' yes, writers-via-chloe, it is, because you used the time-freezing in interesting moments and time travel is all around stupid) but it otherwise comes out of nowhere. and with a fuckin' future kid driving that plot? gross, no thanks

i mean, rory was mostly inoffensive, minus her telling lucifer she wasn't going to the suit fitting and then getting mad when he wasn't there, like girl, you did that one yourself. but if you're gonna introduce a main character in the last season of a show, that character had better be fuckin amazing, and she was not

i suspected i was probably never gonna be wild about how deckerstar wrapped up just because that was like the only relationship i was never super into, but again, the time travel shit is just dumb. I'm just really annoyed at the time travel loop thing being essential to lucifer finding his true calling or whatever and it was nice to see that chloe was always surrounded by friends even after he was gone, but omg what a fucking sacrifice on her part for real. i think it was meant to be a mostly happy ending with their reunion and it just did not hit that way for me. chloe deserved better

but ranting aside, i do still think it's a really fun show and there are so many prime comfort-food-watching moments that were perfect for a little casual holiday viewing <33

A is for Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Constant touch, that’s their love language. They need to be touching each other even if its in the smallest way. Dan’s feet around her ankle while they’re having lunch with someone? He can work with that. Even the minimun is good. Then Dan’s way to show how he care is gifts. Can be flowers or a Dior bag, Em doesn’t really care the prize -and she gets mad at him when he buys her expensive things-. Em way is somehow more simple? She just does little things for him. A sandwhich and a bottle of water waiting for him when he comes off a flight. Making his favorite dish on a bad day. Driving him an insane amount of hours to take him to Woking. 

B is for Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Dan has too many friends. Em has no idea how he catches up with SO much people around the world. She thinks its exhausting. Em on the other hand has her little support system. Blake, Scotty and Chloe. That’s it. Top of the list is Blake and Chloe. But also Em and Dan are still bestfriends, even after a lifetime married. 

C is for Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

The universe knows Dan is a cuddler. He loves hugging his friends and people in general. That’s how he is. Em on the other hand was never one of those. She wasn’t much into cuddles until she met Dan, then she totally understood. As soon as they started to be something there’s nothing Em rather than to spend a day cuddling Dan on her couch, especially if raining. People say they’re clingy. Dan says he’s making up for the hugs she never had in her life. 

D is for Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) 

They have wanting to settle with each other since minute one. The first night Dan stayed at Em’s place it felt easy and from there it went on. It was so easy they just never stopped it.

E is for Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

The only way Em knows how to do it is dissapearing. She needs a clean cut. It happened with her ex, but she never thought it was gonna happen with Dan. He ended too many relationships, he was left too, but nothing ever felt as losing Em. He thought it was never going to happen. The simple thought of leaving her hurt, so it was a no. It happened, they learned their lessons, but after they came back it was a big Never happening again.

F is for Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Emma thought that wasn’t gonna happen to her. She didn’t want get hurt again, so staying alone was better. She learned to live with the idea and it was sad, but it was safe. Dan never thought he was gonna met the woman of his dreams at 28. He figured he was gonna met someone in his late thirties, settle down probably near his forties. He never in his wildest dreams imagined a beautiful 27yo British woman was gonna take his heart forever. But then she did and he knew he wanted to settle with there automatically. Em did too, but it took her longer to admit it to herself. 

G is for Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

The best way to describe Em is “The Kintsugi kid” -Yes like the FOB song-. She’s this delicate little cup put back together with gold. She’s fierce and willing to stand up for everyone, but she’s so broken at the same time. It took Dan -and the boys- years to put her back together. Then they had to do it twice and the second time the pieces where smaller. Gentle is not enough to describe the way she is, especially with Daniel. 

H is for Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Its constant and always. If they go more than a couple of hours without a hug it’s weird. The longest they were without hugging was when they weren’t traveling together. But then the longest they could spend its during race weekend when Dan is busy with sponsors stuff, meetings, debriefing and work stuff. Dan is a hugger and everyone knows that, but Em’s not. She never stars hugs, except with Dan.

I is for I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

One thing was feeling it, another one was saying it. Dan totally knew he was falling in love after Silverstone 2018. Their trip to Philadelphia for the Reputation tour show was his moment of “Yeah, this could be love”. Em finally admitted it to herself around the Mexico GP. Meanwhile she was pushing her feelings and convincing herself she wasn’t in love. One of the things they really regret is how long it took them to say it and how they said it was about their friendship. 

J is for Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

They’re SO jealous. SO SO jealous. Dan is possessive as hell, Em is jealous for her own insecurities. When they get jealous they just get clingy. They automatically go to hug the other. Em normally wants to hide in Dan’s arms, Dan just wants to makeout with her in front of everyone. When it happens and the other one realize, they normally find a way to disappear and go home. 

K is for Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Constantly and everywhere. It depends on the circunstances. When they weren’t publicly together it was terribly hard to hide it, especially for Dan and during race weeks. It would be simpler for Emma, normally she was busy working, but Dan could always go, give her a kiss and keep going with his day. Once its official its just way easier. Its a little peck on his way to media and that would make both of them happy, at least for some hours. Leaving on the side the obvious of each other’s lips and how they love making out, Em loves when Dan kisses her neck or her upper arm. When Dan leans over and kisses her there cause it’s the fastest place he can reach? Its everything. Dan could make an insane list of places where he loves kissing Em. Her perfect cheeks, her forehead when they’re in public, her knuckles when he’s driving, her boobs when he’s laying over her. He also loves when Em kisses his stomach. Its one of their little things. She doesn’t do it because of anything in particular, but if they’re curled up and her head is on his lap she’ll twist and kiss his stomach. It’s just really intimate for them. Em could make a list too. If he’s standing up stretching she’ll lean over to kiss where his T-shirt rides up. His hands and his wrist. She goes feral about his v-line and could spend a lifetime there. His chest when they’re hugging. His cheeks are obviously on the list, just like his neck. Then they do a lot of eskimo kisses. If they don’t have time it’s a nose nuzzle and run to where they need to go. Its always been their go to in the paddock. Foreheads together, noses nuzzle and a lot of whispers so nobody can hear what they’re saying. 

L is for Little ones (How are they around children?)

Emma likes kids, but she was absolutely not used to be around them. She used to see her smallest cousins over Christmas, but never really got to spend time with them. It wasn’t until she met Dan that she really got to spend time with a kid and she totally felt in love with Isaac. Spending time with him was her favorite thing since day one. Dan loves kids, he knows he’s really good with them, he’s a good uncle, but it wasn’t until Em that he realized he really wanted to have kids, but just with her. 

M is for Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Is definitely depending on the day and if they have work or not. But their ideal morning is a lazy one where they don’t have to get up straight away. Dan making breakfast, Em hugging his back and covering him in kisses. Lazy makeout session in the kitchen, staying in bed or the couch as much as possible. Lazy barely moving sex to start the day even before breakfast is the ideal. Neither of them are lazy, but their days are so busy that a lazy morning is important, especially because Em hates waking up early. The ultimate incredible lazy days are the ones that includes ordering breakfast, Dan just getting up to open the door and then straight back to bed. Their little morning routine its just one of their favorite things. If they have work then its everything a bit more rushed, especially during race weekends, but they always take five minutes for cuddles.

N is for Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Mornings are divided between work or not work, but nights are basically depending on the day. They always end with the two of them cuddling each other, but if they talk or not or whatever depends on how the day is. If it’s a bad day they’re mostly quiet, but if it’s good they’ll talk a lot more. Its also depending the night and the place. Nights out having dinner, are very different to chill nights sending Dan to bed early cause he has to race the next day. One thing its if they go clubbing, or if they’re home just chilling. If they’re on vacation they stay till probably way too late talking. Its just the two of them at the farm holding each other by the bonfire while they talk and makeout and they don’t need much more than that to have a perfect night. 

O is for Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

At the beginning Em never really meant to tell Dan all the sad story about her family, her ex and her former friends. She was always keeping that stuff for herself. She was always the little introvert not sharing too much about herself. She didn’t want Dan looking at her like if there was something wrong with her, but he’s just easy to talk to. They would be laying on her bed, holding each other and its easy. He makes it easy somehow, that’s why she ends up talking and opening herself like she never did with anyone before. Dan is always talking a lot, but it was exactly the same with Em. It was easy to talk to her, so once they started they never really stopped. 

P is for Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Em is the queen of patience. She had to deal with three Australian all the time for good part of four years, so she has a lot of patience. The problem is when she runs out she really runs out. When she runs out she’s gonna punch a wall. Dan is not as patience as Em is. With racing he has to learn how to be, but on very bad days she’s the one holding his face, kissing his frown away and calming him down.

Q is for Quizzes (How much would they remember about each other? Do they remember every little detail mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

They both have very good memory. They both remember most stuff. It surprises Em at the beginning cause she didn’t think anyone would remember her stuff, but there’s Dan remembering little things like her favorite Pokemon and making her tear up. Its the same for Dan, it means the world that Em remembers the things he says, even if its just a little detail about his favorite food or some restaurant he like on the other side of the world. 

R is for Remember (What is their favorite moment in their relationship?)

The memory Dan keeps coming back to is Spa 2019. Just the way she replied “I love you too” made him want to cry. It was such an awful day, it was so damn hard, but Emma holding him somehow made it better, so it’s his favourite. Em’s is that hug in Monaco when she came back. That moment when she didn’t completely ruin everything cause she’s in Monaco, in the apartment, and Dan’s holding her so tightly. Also their favorite one is probably hearing Lulu’s cry for the first time. Hearing all their babies cry for their first time, clearly, but that second they heard Lulu and how it meant they were really parents? That was just beautiful. 

S is for Security (How protective are they? How would they protect the other? How would they like to be protected?)

They’re insanely overprotective. Dan is probably worse than Em. They would do anything to protect each other, Em would fight anyone, but Dan? He’s ready to kill or burn the whole world down if that mean keeping his Em safe. He’ll do it in a heartbeat, that’s why Em had to calm him down to not ruin his career and reputation when the whole Mcl*ren talking shit about Em happened.

T is for Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) 

From the beginning Dan always put a lot of effort on gifts. That’s his way to show his love for the people he cares about, so it was even crazier with Em. But as a way to makeup for the mess their relationship was for the first couple of years they put A LOT of effort, especially on date and anniversaries. There’s at least one monthly date, and anniversaries are always celebrated like the biggest milestone. And they really put a lot of effort on everyday tasks to make things work out as better as possible. 

U is for Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Em jumps to conclusions and doesn’t always let people explain. Dan can be a hothead. They make it work because its them and they really understand each other, but its a really weird match. 

V is for Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Em was never really concerned, but then Dan and his crazy world showed up in her life and she started to be concerned about it. Her normal Stradivarius jeans or Primark pjs weren’t good enough for a paddock full of people with designer clothes so she had to adapt. She’s just happy at home she can be her regular self and that Dan loves her no matter what she wears. 

W is for Whole (Would they feel incomplete without each other?)

Absolutely yes. Some bad months and two months apart and they were nothing but a broken mess without each other. They hated every single second of it. They don’t remember how their lives were without each other and they don’t even wanna know.

X is for Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

When their relationship is public the two of them are always holding hands.

Y is for Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Em hates mess. She's a clean clean girl, even when she's in a bad mental health place.

Z is for Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Dan always have difficult sleeping at night, but its Em who runs her fingers through his curls and make him fall asleep in no time, especially after some good night lovemaking. Em is way more complicated. From not sleeping during race weekend nights to having a very hard time sleeping at all, Em can be a little mess. But when they -try to- sleep its always curled up together. Arms around each other and legs tangled its their normal thing. Who uses the other as a pillow is depending on the night.

linda as a therapist for literally everyone in the show is pretty flawed. yes, she can give perspective on supernatural matters but even her friends outside of the know (ella) go to her when they need the advice of a therapist. feel free to correct me on this but with my vague memory I at least know its highly unprofessional to take on a patient (fully booked and everything I presume) who you know personally or even just, has a impression in your life. as this can very much effect how you treat them and the help you give to them even if you don't mean it too.

lucifer being linda's paitent was obviously highly unethical at the start but eventually they develop into a more professional-friend kind. where still, it is unethical as eventually linda DOES fall into a relationship with lucifer's brother. who was an antagonist of sorts during at least season 1's sessions.

at some point i'd think between seasons 2-3 she starts writing the book about lucifer's therapy sessions and his life, given the book was on its completed first draft and we are shown it at least half way through at some point. and, if you dont know, writing a whole book (especially as long as linda's) takes a LONG time.

meaning, at any point in that time linda could've stepped back and thought: 'this is highly unethical and maybe I should at least get the permission of everyone who im using their private therapy sessions.' its a very simple yet, it couldve changed the whole direction of the book from being the simplified cliches of everyone to more realistic versions of the people.

linda takes advantage of lucifer while doing this, really, as when lucifer finds out about this book, he is thrilled. he is excited because it will be the first book to ever have an accurate representation of him.

And I think later, when everyone reads the book and finds out the contents are a really bad fanfiction of their lives, Lucifer is a bit disappointed. I mean, its supposed to be the first book to portray him in a light most accurate to him, and the book doesn't even end up doing that!

I also want to add that everyone gets mad at lucifer because of their portrayals in the book. When, in fact, they should've at least placed part of the blame on linda, the person who wrote the book. instead of taking literally every word of it to heart. (this post goes into it in more detail!)

Lucifer is, at times (a lot of the time), an unreliable narrator. Because he is made to always tell the truth, something that could be world-ending for Earth might not be important at all to him because x reason etc etc.

(example: the whole mira/rory thing - it didn't occur to him to mention to chloe that this supposed child of him is half angel because that genuinely wasnt important to him and didn't seem relevant to the occasion. chloe then gets pissy at him for this so the more you know)

I'm gonna say something that's pretty obvious but needs to be said: linda is not the group's therapist. of course, she is lucifer's highly unethical therapist. but she is not everyone elses. no one else is shown to have regular one on one sessions with her. apart from maybe ella & maze a couple times and the others are super rare.

her knowing and giving this guidance to her friends is really that. an act of their friendship that they trusted her to give good advice on how to deal with their obviously very stressful and traumatic lives.

then for her to turn around and write it into a book (probably turned book series given how long its said to be) which will be accessed but not only the general public, but also people outside of the know that close to them. like chloe's mother, ella's family, dan's parents etc etc.

that is a horrible thing. even if their families don't read the book, other people will.

imagine ella's distant cousin reads the books after it becomes popular for some reason, connects the dots. then suddenly ella's family are asking if she really had a serial killer for a boyfriend and can imagine the way a person dies perfectly from just seeing the scene and and and

dan is also very dead. at least legally dead. will dan's parents be contacted before the publishing of the book to ask for permission? probably not.

- (it would be funny to think if this is the downfall of the book. dan's parents suing this random stranger who claims to be their dead son's therapist for writing him in a book that hugely slanders and makes fun of him)

this will also affect their professional lives. all of sudden everyone they ever meet will have readily accessible detailed accounts of their lives for the past 5 years, their traumas, their ambitions everything about them at the fingertips of coworkers, employers, bosses, whatever.

even just a snippet of the book (it will most likely gain popularity with lucifer's reputation + the fact more that 50% of the cast for it will be cops) would be very insightful towards the point of view and personal information of everyone involved.

its a breach of privacy, a betrayal of trust and a destroyer to any lives the main cast could possibly lead after the publication. the storyline and concept sucks.

Le spectacle de Felix et Kagami est glauque bon après j'imagine que c'est l'effet voulu. Mais bon du coup ça explique pourquoi Emilie et Amelie ont eu des sentimonstres pour enfants. Parce qu'elles étaient stériles et ne pouvaient pas enfanter et ce malgré les traitements des meilleurs médecins pour les soigner ! De ce que j'ai compris du spectacle, Emilie a utilisé le miraculous du Paon bien qu'il soit endommagé pour donner naissance à Adrien, qui par la suite tomba malade suite à l'utilisation du miraculous du Paon.

Puis Colt l'a utilisé pour avoir un enfant avec Amelie mais a finit par le mépriser et à le détester car il est tombé malade à cause de lui le traitant de monstre. J'imagine que par la suite Tomoe a utilise le miraculous du Paon pour avoir Kagami mais comme il était toujours endommagé, quand elle l'a utilisé, elle a perdu la vue ! Ce qui pourrait expliquer pourquoi elle disait à Kagami dans Ikari Gozen que l'amitié est décevante. En demandant de l'aide à Gabriel pour avoir un enfant, elle en a payé le prix tout comme Colt et Emilie ! Quand à Audrey, elle a pu utiliser une mère porteuse concernant la naissance de Chloe et de Zoe. Vu comment est Audrey, elle serait du genre "Pourquoi je ruinerais ce si joli corps ? Quand quelqu'un peut porter ces enfants à ma place !" Après certains vont se demander pourquoi ils n'ont pas adopté ? Je ne sais pas dans votre pays mais je suis allé voir comment est la démarche pour adopter en France et c'est aussi long à faire qu'un dossier à la MDPH.

Felix and Kagami's spectacle is creepy, but I guess that's the effect they're going for. But then that explains why Emilie and Amelie had children's sentimonsters. Because they were sterile and couldn't give birth, despite the best doctors treating them ! From what I understood of the show, Emilie used the Peacock's miraculous even though it was damaged to give birth to Adrien, who later fell ill as a result of using the Peacock's miraculous.

Then Colt used it to have a child with Amelie but ended up despising and hating it because he got sick from it, calling it a monster. I imagine that Tomoe later used the Peacock miraculous to have Kagami but as it was still damaged, when she used it, she lost her sight ! Which might explain why she told Kagami in Ikari Gozen that friendship is disappointing. By asking Gabriel for help in having a child, she paid the price, as did Colt and Emilie ! As for Audrey, I guess she could have used a surrogate mother regarding the birth of Chloe and Zoe. The way Audrey is, she'd be like, "Why would I ruin that pretty body ? When someone can carry these kids for me !" Then some people will wonder why they didn't adopt ? I don't know about your country, but I checked out the adoption process in France and it takes as long as applying a file to the MDPH.

So disappointed with the latest batch of spoilers. All feature dreary characters that don't really grip you. Chloe is awful. So bland. Certainly not worthy of major screen time. Same with amelia. Why give her a baby in the first place and ruin samson into the bargain. Mandy and paddy getting passionate is a nauseating though. Two deeply unpleasant people. Ethan and Marcus are so meh that nothing can make them remotely interesting. Cain and caleb. Same old rinse and repeat. Just for once it would be nice not to have hatred and angst. Let people be nice to each other. Why or why are these awful producers still there. They are clueless and haven't the slightly idea of what viewers really what.

I mean angst isn't always a bad thing, it's just that these producers keep doing repetitive exhausting things.

I feel like Chloe has reached the stage for me where I don't mind her existence in general but this story is awful. Yet another unwanted pregnancy. Yet another bad cheating story. There's absolutely no reason she needed to keep this baby in the first place either. And they're just dragging out the reveals forever. Makes me really appreciate the fact that we got the Robert/Rebecca one night stand reveal so quickly back in 2017. But that's also because they wanted Robron to work out and Mack and Charity are definitely not meant to. I still feel like this whole stupid story is just a massive stalling technique while they wait for Michelle and Laura to come back from their second maternity leaves but who the hell knows. Mostly it's just exhausting and very repetitive considering it was already done with Charity/Jai/Rachel.

I still don't even know what to make of the Amelia/Noah/Samson stuff. I mean a teen pregnancy story is a soap staple, so...fine. But they also just sort of did this with Gabby and they're doing it now with Chloe so it's just kind of annoying. And the damage they've done to Noah and Samson's characters throughout all of this nonsense is even worse. I don't want Samson to be horrible. I think it's fine that he doesn't want to be in Esther's life but he doesn't need to be so nefarious about it. And Noah's entire characterization is honestly just so confusing. And yeah...I really couldn't care less about Amelia. And Dan is boring. So truly...not a great group of characters.

I don't mind the idea of Mandy and Paddy getting back together but I'd rather it happen more gradually. Just have her supporting him instead of Vinny all the time and have them grow closer and actually tell that story instead of having them just randomly end up in bed together one day for shock value and as a plot point for Chas.

Ethan and Marcus....yeah...I just don't know what they're doing there, never have. They threw them together at warp speed with very little story. Marcus got a weird intro with the Pierce stuff that never seemed to matter. Neither one of them has much of a personality. I really don't feel like I know either character other than that Ethan can be an arrogant snob sometime. But Marcus is a complete mystery for the most part. I want to like them but they are really boring because there's never been any real attempt to flesh out either character or their relationship. So okay...they split...then what? Will this split develop either character?

As for Caleb, I want to like him. I do a lot of the time but they're throwing around that "twist" word again and I don't even have to know what it is to know that I'm already exhausted by it. The bigger twist would be for him to just be what and who he says. That would be a miracle. But know...we've gotta have a twist. If he ends up being an imposter, Chloe's gangster dad, actually out for revenge against Cain or having an affair with Moira, I just don't know if I can handle it.

But I do agree, having some positive stories would be nice. And those can come in the form of relationships, friendships, new business ventures, actually wanted pregnancies/children (revolutionary I know) etc.

Mostly I just want rid of the terrible trio. They're just not good at their jobs. I couldn't even watch that video because I don't want to hear them speak about their terrible stories. Haha. The articles were enough for me.

Brittana AUs based on other shows

So I’ve been kicking around a bunch of these for some time and have had some trouble writing. Just thought I would throw them out there and if anyone wants to discuss (or write them, feel free lol). 

Lucifer!AU: 

Santana as Lucifer and Brittany as Chloe Decker. Imagine their partnership starting out and Santana is just wickedly charming but at times insufferable to Detective!Brittany, who’s just trying to do her job, but admittedly finds Santana useful in solving crimes.  And of course the ex-Lady of Hell doesn’t really understand why Brittany seems immune to her charms and finds herself even more confused about why she’s only vulnerable around Brittany. It starts as business but there are also times where Brittany finds that with her unpopularity at work over a previous incident, Santana ends up strangely enough being her rock and someone she can trust to have her back and of course, over time they fall in love. 

I could also see Quinn as Amenadiel - Santana’s overbearing angel big sister who starts off on the sanctimonious side, but their relationship eventually develops and Quinn learns the value of humanity and that angels are perhaps not above it all. I feel like Puck would make a good Maze - Santana’s long serving ally, who learns to have some level of care for humanity, but may also flip his allegiance to serve his own purpose. I’m not sure who would really suit Dan Espinoza - right now I’m thinking Sam as Brittany’s ex-husband and fellow detective. The way he and Santana would snipe at each other in sort of Glee 4x13 vibes (Santana calls him “Trouty Mouth” of course in place of Lucifer’s classic “Detective Douche”), but he’s definitely got a more goofy/fun side and he and Santana develop a complicated friendship.

Brittany as Mike Ross and Santana as Rachel Zane. I feel like you could technically flip this one around, but I went in this direction because of the whole secret genius thing. Think about college dropout, secret genius, down on her luck, Brittany - by a total fluke - ends up impressing Quinn (Harvey Specter) at a job interview she wasn’t supposed to be at and getting hired as an associate despite lacking a law (or college) degree. She then meets Santana Lopez, the daughter of a big-time lawyer of another firm, who’s trying to make it on her own and working as a paralegal. There’s definitely an attraction between them as they spend a lot of time helping each other out at work, but Brittany is torn, since she’s lying to Santana (and everyone) about her law qualifications. And then eventually we get THAT scene in the season 2 finale in the file room, where Santana and Brittany have a confrontation and the truth comes out and Santana is angry, but they ultimately end up hooking up, which leads to them starting a relationship. 

Also, I had Quinn pegged as Harvey, so I’m kinda thinking Rachel Berry as Louis Litt lol.

Lucifer Rewatch Liveblog: 1.03

OMG if I don’t liveblog an episode tonight I’m going to be so distracted and upset so ep 3 it is! I have no idea what episode it is! And neither the title nor the description is enlightening me lol S1 really went in one ear and out the other, didn’t it?

And because I haven't said it yet, I do enjoy that the episode titles are lines of dialogue. It does nothing to help me remember what title matches what plot but it does provide me with an easy-to-replicate formula for fanfic chapter and story titles which I am always grateful for *tips my hat in thanks to the writers*

Ah right, recap. Cause we definitely need a TWO episode recap before moving on to the third episode ever of a show. *skips*

I can't decide if I hate fake out cold opens or if I'm neutral towards them. But I'm pretty sure I don't love them. Because I’m well trained on them so I always know they’re fake -- but is that the point? Is wondering what the real explanation behind the scene the real hook?

Meta things to ponder later.

A four-leaf clover and a unicorn had a baby --- but would the baby come out more unicorn or clover? Would they still have four leaves? This scene is boring so I'm utterly distracted by this image now. Is it a unicorn decorated in clovers???

Oh the scene got interesting again when this woman accused Lucifer of stealing his own identity ROTFL I have no memory of this subplot

'debunking hypnotism' -- Dude, you are obsessed with Lucifer. Like OBSESSED. You’re even answering unknown numbers in case it's him!?

The look on Trixie's face is that childishly fiendish grin of delight that says ‘Maybe I gave him your number when he asked. Maybe he found it on his own. Either way I’m thrilled by this development.’

(Though, not because she has designs on making Lucifer her stepdad because she was definitely trying to get Chloe and Dan together again two seconds before this. I’m pretty sure she thinks she and Lucifer are already besties and just likes the idea of her bestie hanging out with her mom so they can all be besties.)

I mean, really it would be 249 suspects wouldn't it? Cause one of the suspects is in fact the murder victim? So that’s one less person for you to question, Chloe! #helpful

Since it's just case stuff, this seems like a good time to say -- I really like Dan and Chloe as exes. Their romance was utterly obliterated by Dan’s pre-series betrayal but their friendship remained and I adore that. And not just as co-parents either! They stayed genuine friends with each other!

I maintain that Lux can stay high end if it wants, but it needs to be about 1000 times gayer. He's the fucking Devil for pete's sake. This whole show should be 1000 times gayer.

The singer for whatever song is playing in the background of this fixer scene sounds exactly like the singer of the credits song for Ghostbusters 2016.... I can't decide if I care enough to go investigate if it is the same singer, though.

Lucifer, I would like to know how this dude got your credit card number. Though I guess even the Devil isn't immune to data theft once you're living in our lovely capitalist hellscape.

... Does California still have the death penalty??? Cause Chloe definitely implied California still has the death penalty. I didn't think they did. I thought the death penalty was only left in a few states, but I guess I haven’t researched that lately.

Oh god hang on, I just spotted Chloe's back shirttail was fully untucked and hanging out of her jacket and I swooned a little. Just give me a second, I'll be okay.

First, 'I squeezed too hard' should never be a problem because you should never have your hands around someone's neck. That should never be one of your anger responses. There’s no excuse there.

Second, 'I'm out of here'? After admitting to murder in front of a cop??? That agent was a bit delusional too there, wasn't he?

Oo, very much enjoying Chloe keying into Lucifer feeling guilty for Ali's death even though Lucifer still isn't self-aware enough to acknowledge that.

And the therapy session after with Linda, too. See? This is the kind of character growth that I wouldn't care about if I was starting from the pilot because I don't care about Lucifer yet. But watching it AFTER watching the later seasons and very much caring about Lucifer? Yeah, it's brilliant. It's meaty stuff! I love it!

It's six seasons of baby steps that build on each other so much that the S1 characters wouldn't recognize themselves in S6. They wouldn't even recognize themselves in S2! And yet those character differences are never a flaw in the show. It's all natural character growth instead. Amazing.

I can't relate to their day-to-day lives (especially Lucifer's) but damn do I have a lot to learn about writing from this show.

And now I can fall asleep happy tonight because I saw my blorbos :) Specifically, I saw them in their natural environment and not the captivity of fanvideos because apparently there's a difference when it comes to my happiness vs depression levels? I never registered that before this show. (Though, I've also never struggled with embarrassment over rewatching full episodes of my favorite show before Lucifer. Obsessively rewatching a show was a normal hyperfixation response. I still don't know why I've been fighting myself on it lately.)
