Sam Tucker and Jazz had no right to be mad at Danny for giving up his powers !!!

They weren't the ones who's parents talked about ripping him apart and planning on putting him through horrible experiments

They weren't the ones who's parents kept talking about how much they hated him {sure it was his ghost half but he still had to hear his parents trash talking a part of him} and kept shooting at him every time they saw him

They weren't the ones who kept getting brutally attacked by ghosts left and right who's grades where slipping and was constantly getting into trouble at school

They weren't the ones who had to carry the weight of the world by constantly worrying when and how he'll be turn evil and become a dangerous killer !!!

They weren't the ones who felt responsible for turning someone into a ghost hunter and "ruined" her life

They weren't the ones who died not once but three times !!! {Twice by the portal and once by his evil self}

Sam especially had no right to tell him he's now an average teenager and how he gave up something that made him unique as if that power was more of a curse to him than anything else !!!

Danny had every right to give up his powers and be normal especially when he's the one that suffered the most and none of them cared they only cared that Danny took away their adventures because let's face it at the end of the day they saw Danny's heroic life as an adventure while Danny saw it as a literal life or death situation

Vlad is the one who gets Danny help.

He has a realization that he became so fixated on Maddie he lost sight on everything else. Maybe he find Maddie and Jack experimenting on a ghost, maybe a plot to capture and cut open phantom. Something makes him see the light.

Regardless of what he is the one who realizes how dangerous Danny’s home life is. How at risk he is.

So vlad leaves an anonymous tip on the justice league helpline regarding a portal into a different dimension. The location fentonWorks in amity park Illinois.

It would be even better if amity had an info block out so it just didn’t exist online. Maybe when they respond either the GIW have phantom and are ready/doing experiments.

Inspired by another post I just read that I can't find now:

Conner Kent is a clone of Clark Kent, but instead of using Lex Luthor's DNA, they used Jack Fenton's.

Why? Let's pretend lex Luthor's DNA didn't work because of reasons (maybe kryptonite exposure? In Smallville, that's why he's bald). Jack is an absolute tank of a man, that's reasonably intelligent, and remarkably similar in appearance to Superman (strong jaw, blue eyes, black hair, really tall).

How did they get Jack's DNA? 3 ideas.

1) Vlad. He got some of Jack's DNA because he was planning something, but ended up giving it to Lex/Cadmus as payment for help on one of his schemes.

2) Jack sold his sperm to a sperm bank for money in University. Cadmus probably didn't start their cloning tests with the rare and valuable Superman DNA that they had. They bought some samples from sperm banks off the black market.

3) Jazz and Danny were actually conceived through IVF/the Fenton's used a surrogate. Let's face it, Maddie's got some weird body proportions. Her torso is thinner than her thigh , so it's not unreasonable for her to have some medical issues.

Result: It comes out that Jack is also Conner's Dad.

Jack: Heck yeah! New child to love and teach about ghosts!

Maddie: Honey, aren't you worried that he's a clone?

Danny: At least this one's not mine.

Maddie: What are you talking about?

Jazz: Being a clone must be so invalidating to his psyche. I'm going to need new psychology books to help Conner through this tough time.

Rehabilitation Path

While researching about a villain's parentage as Oracle, Babs discovered that the Information about Amity Park is blocked (maybe is the GIW, maybe is Tucker or an aftermath of Technus shenanigans in the city).

She realizes that she can't investigate about this random place and get concerned, so she decides to investigate it in person. But since is just a reconnaissance mission to understand the technological block she didn't tell the bats, why would she?

When she arrives there, she saw all the things happening: the teen hero, ghosts invasion, government cover-up, etc.

But that's not the worst part, because she also saw that something was happening with the town hero: He was moving like he couldn't see halfway, stumbling, missing his aim, his coordination was obviously failing and the blind spot was so obvious to her!

So instead of telling Bruce or the League as she should, she decided to talk to him. The boy told her that he had a really bad accident and he still felt the aftermath (like her)

When Babs asked him if he had done rehab to recover and he shrugged saying that his powers had fixed it, she was horrified. It seemed that no one had taken the time to give him rehabilitation therapy, a few days in the hospital and he was considered cured!

The boy also admitted about losing sight in one of his eyes over time, but not doing anything because he felt ashamed about it. The boy thought that this disability made him less valuable in combat, that when he recognized it, he would have to stop being a hero! Babs couldn't help but get annoyed with whoever put such a stupid thought in the teenager's head.

So she made up her mind: She would teach that boy about the good path to recovery, and show him that an accident didn't have to ruin his life, she would teach him to to be proud of his newfound disability, because that didn't stop her from being a hero and it wouldn't stop him either.

The train ran through Gotham erratically, giving no signs as to were it would twist or turn next. There were many times it would suddenly lurch skyward only to fall back down a minute later.

The bats and birds had been forced to evacuate a large section of the city just because this thing kept plowing through trees and buildings like they were made of tinfoil, but would also turn intangible at seemingly random intervals. What was going on?

The train finally crashed into the ground at a ninety degree angle and the whole thing fell limp. It let out a sharp hiss as steam began to flow out from beneath it, it probably would have been really cool if it wasn't so comical. Finally the bats were able to approach without being flung off or dropped from the sudden intangiblity and they entered quickly, expecting a fight. Instead they found two boys, one with black hair and blue eyes and the other with white and green. They stared at them wide eyed as if they were the ones who should be surprised.

Nightwing groaned, mentally preparing to have two more little brothers. Batman took charge and asked them what thier names were. One gave what they assumed was a real name, Rin Okumura and the other gave an alias, Phantom. Scanning the scene as the two boys bickering he found a tied up woman with the bottom half of her body in the form of a giant spider.

"Don't touch. Demon." The boy with blue eyes told them in broken English, his tail waving behind him anxiously.

"She ate the conductor and everyone else on the train." The glowing one said.

Red Robin and Nightwing turned to them wide eyed, "She ate them?!"

The boys nodded, and Rin sheepishly added in Japanese, "Thats why the train was out of control. We...uh...didn't know how to drive."

They explained, separately due to Rin only really knowing Japanese. Appearently both teens were from different dimensions or realities, the adoption bait belonged to a group of people that fought supernatural beings and the magic users calling themselves "Excorsists" and they were basically in a secret war with the demons of a hell dimension called Gahena. Rin was a half demon and his father was high up in the hiarchy so from what they gathered people were pretty regularly racist toward him and Rin had normalized it. Nightwing already wanted to comfort his new baby brother.

Phantom didn't really explain anything, only saying he didn't mean harm. Which, fair.

Batman offered them a place to stay but they refused citing that they had schoo- places to be soon and they needed to get going. Phantom brought out a glowing map and ordered it to take them home.

A moment passed before the boys seemed distressed. Opening the map they found words forming in it in both English and Japanese, stating that there were no portals leading to either boys homes nor the Infinite Realms due to the presence of the Lazarus Pits. The boys looked at each other worried. Niether knew what the Lazarus Pits even were or had heard of them before. The way they got here was through the Spectral Express, which not only did they not know how to operate, but was currently totalled.

Bruce again offered them a place to stay and Rin excepted, but Phantom refused and chose to rough it in the wilderness outside the city despite the batfams warnings that that was a terrible idea. The words, "It'll be fine. I'm already dead." Shocked them long enough for Phantom to escape.

I know in your Red Knight AU, Jason when on the rampage in another realm, after finding out that Batman replace him with another Robin.

Did Danny manage to be there for him during that time?

He did! Danny was always there for Jason. He actually wanted to chase after Jason immediately, but luckily, the first thing he did was panic call Jazz, absolutely out of his mind. Jazz promptly told Danny to let Jason have some space for a little bit to process.

Which was for the best, really. Jason needed to not feel like he was trapped and that he could be angry. He never really got that before. But the most important thing is Danny came after him and brought him home. Jason needed to feel like he could be angry, but also, like his anger wouldn't mean he'd be punished or abandoned. It was a very delicate time for him, but Danny, Jazz, Sam, Tucker, and all our favorite ghosts made sure Jason knew he was very much wanted still. And that he was utterly irreplaceable.

Skulker handled this by breaking all of his weapons and suits overnight and saying he didn't know how to fix them. (Jason very much knew what he was doing, but the time spent on fixing things helped ground him)

Ember handled this by announcing that she couldn't possibly ever sing ever again unless her only other band member was there (Still very obvious, but music time with Ember usually devolved into very necessary crying time. A lot of ice cream was consumed)

Johnny and Kitty handled this by getting into a MASSIVE fight and refusing to speak to each other unless Jason mediated. (This actually was far less obvious, as the two tend to get into fights often. No one is actually certain if the fight was fake or not to this day, but they also haven't broken up once since and Jason is incredibly proud of that)

Fright Knight handled this by.... well, actually, he took the blunt approach and told Jason there was no one in any realm dead or alive he'd ever consider worthy to be his apprentice besides Jason. (This was highly effective as Frighty has always been bluntly honest with Jason. He didn't wholly believe it but it was a comfort. Frighty then beat his ass in a spar and he didn't think of much else)

Basically, everyone was there for Jason. Not just Danny. Jason was made to feel like his anger and hurt were valid, because they were. But he was also not just told, but shown how precious he was to every life he touched. He didn't get it, not at first and he struggled to really believe it.

It wasn't until later, after Danny opened up more about his own trauma and the effects it had on him that Jason actually began to somewhat understand more of what Jazz meant when she said Danny was getting better. He pieced more of the story together from the others to paint a better picture, and that's when it clicked for him. As much as he needed Danny, Danny had needed him just as much. (Clockwork may have had a hand in this as well, but whatever those two talked about, no one will ever know)

Also, as an aside, once everything calmed down, Danny was very pleased to learn the rebelling realm was now back under control and quite terrified of the Ghost King and his Knight. It saved him so much paperwork.

So yeah, this was a bit all over the place, but hopefully, it answers your question. Team Phantom and the ghosts are basically a very large family, and they might fight and bicker, but they seriously pull through and muster together if anyone is hurting. They're a bit clumsy sometimes with it, but the love they all feel is very obvious. I really, really wanted to give Jason a much more healthy origin story into becoming Red Hood than he got in canon. The poor boy went through enough. It was past time for him to get to heal.

Jason still has some hangups. His abandonment issues are still there, and his fear of rejection. But it's not as bad as it was, and because he'd been allowed to express his anger without being punished(or enabled, anger is a fine emotion to feel. But you should never let it consume you) for it, he figured out how to manage it.

He might still slip now, and then, he has trauma, and that won't go away. But Danny will never, ever let him fall. Neither will the rest of the weird little eclectic family they've built.

If i'm being completely honest,i'm really sad that i can't enjoy Maribat and Dp x Dc.I was a Miraculous Ladybug kid and a Danny Phantom one too and DC is one of my biggest special interests and i absolutely agree that Marinette deserves a million times better than what she's given in canon,especially because i relate to her so much(like how i'm biracial),and i have a general spinterest in superheroes so i deeply wish i could join in on the fun.I even love a few of the ships,i think Tim and Marinette is a perfect fit!

But even if it didn't frustrate me greatly that these fans don't even read comics,i can't look past how much they normalize racism and harmful relathionships.Marinette and Danny got picked up as Batkids because of having blue eyes to delibaretly erase Duke and Cass,Alya gets bashed all the time and Marinette gets excotified(?)and infantalized,there's shipping adults with minors left and right and ofc even more in///cest between adoptive family members than before.Maribat and Dc x Dp could've been great but as always awful people have to ruin good things

tbh the Brad Bakshi bathroom scene haunts me and genuinely made me confront my own relationship with food when I first saw it because his performance was so recognizable to me, it was like someone was making me look at myself and it scared me. The way he contorts his face and mutters to himself and leans into the mirror and grabs at his stomach area and seems so deeply furious and ashamed of himself was both incredible and horrifically accurate, Danny Pudi seriously deserves more recognition for his acting, just in that one scene with very little dialogue we learn so much about Brad and see so much of him, so much of Brads most personal and telling moments are the ones where he isn’t saying anything- Danny’s delivery of the character is a fucking masterpiece and every second Brad is onscreen is a treat to watch.
