- whenever you’re around it’s like it eases his soul. you make him feel at home, as if he had never lost himself to the past. you remedy him in ways he cannot explain and he’s forever grateful for it.

- he always looks at you so lovingly. sometimes the watchers will catch on, but they won’t say anything about it when he’s there.

- isn’t one for pda but he does like to hold your hand and loosely intertwine his fingers with yours. occasionally lets you borrow his cloak because it’s usually so cold.

- has a deep rooted fear of losing you. he sometimes fears that he won’t be there to protect you and that you’ll get hurt without him knowing. he trusts you though, and tries to dismiss his fears.

- likes to lay his head on your shoulder and listen to you talk. about anything. he’s happy as long as he gets to hear your voice.

- breakfast in bed <3 !! literally everyday. when you wake up he always has something ready for you.

- often has nightmares about something bad happening to you. he knows that you’re safe, but what if one day he slips up and he can never see you again? what if he’s too late? what if someone is trying to take you from him? he’s paranoid about it to an unhealthy level.

- whenever you’re sick he makes sure no one disturbs you, and that you have everything you need. he might get sick too because he’s around you the entire time.

- tries to do really casual things with you like go out on dates in town, but then everyone is like “IS THAT THE KING??? WHY IS HE HERE” and it isn’t really an enjoyable experience. so most times he stays inside the castle to avoid any attention or concern.

- quite flustered whenever he receives compliments from you, especially because you’re the most important person in his life. he can never find the right words to say. you never cease to make him smile <3

How would Yandere! Ancient cookies go about sharing you?

🍪 Congratulation! Not only did you somehow manage to get some of most powerfull cookies out there to fall for you, but also managed to get them not to kill each other over you. So... What now?

🍪 Well, they share you of course! Specificly they pass you around their kingdoms, every month you are in a diffrent one.

🍪 It's not Perfect, it requires a lot of Traveling to be done, but it's better than having them fight. Besides you don't realy have a choice

⚪ First 2 Months (2 becouse there's 2 of them) you spend with Pure Vanilla and White Lily. (I put these two together since White Lily doesn't have her own kingdom)

🟡 Pure Vanilla is on the more Overprotective side of things, constantly making sure you are comfortable and healing any injuries you might have somehow gained, no matter how small they are.

⚪ White Lily on the other hand is Possessive of you, of course just like Pure Vanilla she also is protective of you, but not nearly as much. She will make sure that nobody that doesn't HAVE to see you, won't.

🟡 Both of the cookies refuse to give you any privacy for your entire forced stay with them.

⚪ You are constantly with at least one of the pair, and even that's rare. If it's possible both of them will make sure you are at arm's lenght at all time.

🟡 It's also rare that you'l get to leave the castle. They are PARANOID about your safety, it doesn't matter that Vanilla Kingdom is Has Basicly no threats.

⚪ You are also forced to share bed with them, every night you are sandwiched between the 2 cookies, and believe me, they will CLING to you during sleep.

🟡 Escape is impossible, just don't even try, you won't get anywhere. Even if you somehow manage to escape the 2 cookies, the entire kingdom is constantly floating in the air, so unless you are ready to take the plunge, you wouldn't make it far.

🟡⚪ Overall, your stay at Vanilla Kingdom isn't good... But Hey, it always could be worse, right?

🔴 After you're not so pleasant stay with Pure Vanilla and White Lily, you are sent directly to Hollyberry Cookie.

🔴 In Hollyberry kingdom you will have the most freedom. While the kingdom's ruler is very much protective with you, she is more than confident in her ability to protect you.

🔴 The thing that makes her diffrent from other yanderes is that she won't try to hide you, quite contrary realy. She will show you off to everyone she can!

🔴 Hollyberry will also allow you to roam around her kingdom freely, you can go anywhere and talk with anyone you want! As long as you won't try to escape or flirt with anyone that is. It's almost enough to make you forget you are Basicly held captive.

🔴 She will also want you to meet her grand child, Princess Cookie! She is sure she'l love you ;)

🔴 Hollyberry Cookie will even give you your own room for your stay! Isn't that just so considerate of her? :) Ignore the fact its positioned right next to her's.

🔴 When it come to escaping... Well you definitly have a better shot at it here than in Vanilla Kingdom. Chances of succes aren't hight mind you, and even if you do manage to escape who's to say you manage to bit get caught again? She might even Ask Pitaya dragon for a small Favor if she fails to get you back for longer enough.

🔴 Either way, the stay at Hollyberry Kingdom is not too bad! Or at least no too bad when compared to others. Who knows, maybe you'l even manage to relax and forget you are essentialy trapped?

⚫ Next in the "getting to have Y/N over in their kingdom" line is Dark Cacao Cookie.

⚫ Dark Cacao Cookie like most of his friends is Overprotective and Possessive.

⚫ He doesn't want to lose you, whether it's to you escaping or getting hurt it doesn't matter, he will protect you. Even from yourself.

⚫ His protectivnes is actually somewhat justified, the Terrain where Dark cacao kingdom is placed isn't the safest place out there

⚫ He only allows his most trusted subjects to get near you, and Has them keep an eye on you whenever he can't do it himself.

⚫ Speaking of which, Dark Cacao Cookie makes you spend most of your time in his kingdom close to him, while he isn't very touchy he enjoys being this close to you.

⚫ He probably would make you wear a crown (Is it a crown? Well It look like one.) similiar to his one.

⚫ Escape altho theoreticaly not impossible, would be extremely difficult. There are many cookies patrolling the surrounding area, all of which are loyal to their ruler.

⚫ The stay at Dark Cacao Kingdom isn't very pleasuarble to say the least, but Hey there some positives. I mean, maybe you'l manage to befriend some of the cookies that were meant to keep an eye on you. They won't help you escape of course, but its always nice to have someone to talk to!

🟠 Finaly after staying with dark Cacao for a month you get to (by "get to" i mean are forced to) move once again. This time to Golden Cheese kingdom.

🟠 Golden Cheese Cookie is well... Greedy, and she doesn't want to share you or your attention with anyone else.

🟠 From the very moment you'l step into her kingdom she'l shower you in expensive gifts and other riches.

🟠 She'l force you to change whatever clothes you were wearing to ones that match her clothes.

🟠 Golden Cheese Cookie WILL show you off, but she wants your attention to only be on her and her alone.

🟠 She will always keep you close, no matter what she's doing. or if you even want to be close to her.

🟠 No one other than her is allowed to touch you, they can look all they want, but privilage of having phisical contact with you is only for her.

🟠 You also aren't given your own room, you are simply forced to share with her.

🟠 You won't escape, there just is no way when she is constantly right next to you. And even if you try to make a run for it. She can fly, and even (and that's extremly unlikely) you manage to escape from her kingdom, good luck getting through the dessert surrounding it.

🟠 Altho constantly being under her survailance isn't the most enjoyable thing, its always important to find the best in bad sitiations. In this case "the best" is the fact that Golden Cheese is more than happy to give you anything you want aside from freedom of course she won't give you anything you could use to help you escape, but it's still nice.

🍪 And so the cycle begins again, after the month you spent In Golden Cheese kingdom, you are once again transported to Vanilla Kingdom. The whole cycle will continue repeating over and over again for the rest of your life. Well, unless you somehow do manage to escape...

Terrible headcanon time-

So, I have this very random headcanon that Dark Cacao forgot Dark Choco's 5th birthday, due to paying more attention to his duties than his kid. Dark Choco, still to this day, is incredibly salty about it (like anyone else would) and whenever he's in a bad mood, he mentions it out of nowhere to Dark Cacao to make him feel bad.

Dark Cacao has tried to make it up to him for it, but those attempts were very mediocre and Dark Choco can't forgive him for forgetting his 5th fucking birthday. He appreciates the attempts... for the most part, but he can't bring himself to forgive him.

A/n: first post back! Wanted to start small with headcanons to get back into the groove before doing full fics again

Pure Vanilla Cookie

He smiles and cups your cheeks. He quickly agrees saying he’d love you no matter what form you have. He’d hold you close and kisses you.

“Of course I’d love you if you were a worm!”

Dark Cacao Cookie

He’d just stare at you, not sure how to answer that question. Are you about to turn into a worm? Is there is something you’re not telling him? Is this a joke? He doesn’t give you clear answer.

“…what?”

Eclair Cookie

He’d stop what he was doing and slowly looked at you. He started to think over history if anyone has turned into a worm. He does look for transformation books, hoping to stop the transformation.

“Are you turning into a worm?!”

Madeleine Cookie

Similar to Pure Vanilla, He’d pick you up and kiss you. He’d hold you close and show off his beautiful smile.

“I’d love you no matter what you look like! But would you love me if I was a worm?”

Espresso Cookie

He makes a disgusted face and shakes his head and continues on with his work. He is very concerned for you and how came up with such an odd question.

“Where did you get that question from? Was it Madeleine Cookie?”

Lilac Cookie

He thinks about how to answer the question. If he says no, you’ll be sad. If he says yes, you’re happy but its weird. He takes a little more time before speaking.

“..Yes..”

Oh yeah so I finally found that original image with those flavors of certain characters. Well actually I found it a week or two ago, I just forgot about it until I was doing cleanup this morning

Anyways, so I’m aware that these aren’t actually talking about the flavors of the Cookies themselves. This is about the macarons based on each Cookie and what flavors they are

But I kind of want to take these and make them into headcanon flavors. Or at least, they’re tertiary flavors/something that’d be picked up in a dough analysis

Like for instance, Dark Cacao has a trace amount of sea salt in his dough, and similarly Eclair has trace amounts of birthday cake in his. Cotton has some milk in hers, so perhaps she has some ancestry from the Milk Tribe. Sea Fairy tastes similar to Fruity Pebbles, which tbh vaguely remind me of the color of coral, so I like to think she could have originally been a coral based Cookie, assuming she was something before being Sea Fairy. Dark Enchantress has a berry flavor to her. I don’t really have ideas for the other three but there’s things you could come up with

Again I know these aren’t canon, but I can at least incorporate them into headcanon if I want to

The berserk/cursed form guide 2.0

So I decided to give this headcanon a bit of a rework for the funsies (and also because drawing cookies is really fun jsfnsbf)

Anyhow let's start with the basics! (Almost all of it is headcanon)

First of all, a "cursed" form is a manifestation of a cookie's magic which can be triggered only when specific factors are at play, these mainly being mana levels and stress levels.

Mana is similiar to a "battery", and works as an indicator for the amount of magic present in one's body (The more a cookie is experienced, the less mana it consumes to cast advanced spells).

It depletes when magic is used (The amount depends on the complexity of what's being done) and when it's low enough it starts to have reprecussions on the cookie itself (i'll go more in depth on this another time).

Either way, one of the things it influences is a spell's ability to "fail"

If a cookie is distracted whilst casting something, it might not be intuned enough with it's magic and is more likely to nullify a spell (expecially if complex).

Most of the time nothing will happen, but if this is combined with low mana and high levels of stress it can trigger a defense mechanism which makes magic take a hold of a cookies body (This can also be triggered when a spell is casted on someone with equally high levels of stress, thus triggering this reponse from their body as well).

The cookie is not in control of itself in this state nor is it concious of what's going on, thus this state being refered to as "cursed".

This form is pretty much magic given a phisical appearence that tends to reflect both a cookie's looks and magic type

Oddly enough, it's destructive only if it has been provoked and takes most of one's own traits to define its behaviour, the way it acts can help with figuring out how to get a cookie out of this state

Ways to get a cookie out of the "cursed" state

This manifestation of magic can either percieve it's surroundings as a threat as soon as it takes control of the cookie or (this is less usual to see) not break havoc as soon but still be incredibly tense to everything around it.

To give the cookie back control one can either fight the manifestation until it vanishes, or wait for it to dissapear on it's own as time runs out

A staring contest is usually better than a full on fight against uncontrolled magic

As soon as the cookie is given control back, in both cases it's mana will be greatly depleted and it is very likely for them to faint as soon as they're back to normal, once they wake up the cookie won't recall memories of that defense mechanism (Due to the whole "not being concious nor in control" ordeal)

Cacao:

- Another ally is always welcome in his books.

- he will however request that you try to not fly around on your website in his kingdom, he already has to deal with snow.

- he thinks your skillet is very interesting, he had to hone his skill to be able to anticipate attacks, but for you it’s natural!

- When you come in front the ceiling upside he freaks out a little worried that you might hit your head. He’s still got those fatherly instincts.

- I feel like if you picked him up, he’s kinda just have this face of utter terror. I mean he’s a large guy, and you’re like. A normal cookie, how the hell can you pick him up???

- overall he’s pretty neutral to you, he’s kind sure but he more want to see what you can do in the field!

HollyBerry:

- Holly thinks it’s very cool!

- a new hero to fight against dark enchantress cookie! How wonderful!

- will ask if you can carry her around!

- and then will carry you around.

- you know that one captain America and spider man thing? Where he catches caps shield, yeah that’s totally how you two met.

- Holly is happy to call you a close friend!

- Very grandmotherly towards you! She’ll make you your favorite meal, and tell you tales of when she was out adventuring with her friends, or pitaya dragon cookie!

- calls you “Petite araignée” means little spider in French!

Pure vanilla:

- he worries a lot, you flying around?? What do you get hurt??

- he’ll heal any of your wounds! Be it from a fight or mising a web on a building!

- His kingdom is 100% one of the most fun to swing around in!

- he loves that such a young person can be such an amazing hero! He’s very proud of you!

- even though he’s happy you’re a hero, he will try to keep you away from the front lines! He doesn’t want you to get hurt, or worse, crumble.

- very worried grandpa.

Golden cheese:

- she is more then willing to invite you to her golden kingdom, a young hero to stop any people who disturb the peace? Perfect! Then bring cheese can just focus on the gates.

- would definitely want to try and deck you out with new gear, new web shooter, and gadgets.

- she’d start to count you as one of her treasures! You help protect people along side burnt cheese! How noble!

- will try and add gold to your suit.

- you and her totally swing/fly around together.

- she’d try and teach you mid air tricks! I mean you must be flashy! A good hero can always let people know who they are just by their look!

- basically like Tony and Peter Parker

White lily:

- she wants to know how your body can produce the webs.

- sure some cookies have magic, but most of them learned! Or have a type of soul jam! But you? You got bit by something and then suddenly have powers?? How??

- will ask specimens of your webs.

- white lily is normally a quiet cookie, but when it comes to the science of cookies, be prepared for hundreds, of thousands of questions.

Bonus round!!

Dark enchantress cookie:

- a new cookie to cause issue in her plans?

- when she sees your spiddy sense working she starts trying to find a way to get around it.

- maybe pomegranate can cast something.

- licorice could maybe overwhelm you with licorice beasts?

- No no that won’t work…she’ll find out something. Soon enough.

Shadow milk:

- oh a little spider!

- soon to be caught in his web!

- he will mock you as you fight

- you’ll never be as strong as him!! Why don’t you just give up!

- he’ll try to grab your webs and treat you like a puppet, when you break free he whines saying you’re no fun!!

- run away little spider. Hopefully you don’t get caught up in your own web :)

Dark Cacao was initially taken aback by your proposition, albeit his face stone cold. He didn’t expect a reincarnate of a dragon he’s slain before him, let alone a grateful one.

You expressed your gratitude towards the king, thankful as death was a great mercy. No longer filled with bitterness from your past life, wishing to serve and protect along side him with pride.

He accepted.

Your new body was quite weak compared to your previous one, but strong nonetheless. Along with your strength and wisdom from your previous life, you were an unstoppable force, and one of the best warriors in the kingdom.

You sparred with the other watchers and warriors, but always swept the floor, leaving them face down in the cold snow. Soon you found yourself to be Dark Cacao’s “sparring buddy.” You might’ve been reincarnated into your new body, but you swear you’ve felt feral instincts flare up whenever you sparred with him. Perhaps it was the sparring, or maybe it was your instincts from a past life, but the adrenaline rush was always unbeatable. You found joy when you fought with him, Dark Cacao took pride in being able to strengthen you as a warrior.

You gained the Black Citadel’s respect, including the king, from your immense strength and power you brought to the battlefield. Occasionally you’d receive a nod from the watchers as you walked by. You were known for your battles and strength.

However, there was softer (and slightly mischievous) side to your friendship. Gradually, you found yourself gravitating towards Dark Cacao. There was an odd comfort you found around him.

When you weren’t sparring with him, you’d occasionally sneak into his office and take some of his things. Minute things like pens, pencils, brushes, and even clothes. You did this partially to annoy him and partially because dragons like hogging treasure and anything they deem “valuable.” If he owned it, you wanted it. His fluffy cape isn’t off limits either, the challenge of nabbing it while he’s wearing it making it more rewarding.

Unimpressed with your behavior, Dark Cacao often lectured you about taking his belongings with a stern face. Albeit annoyed by your antics, he couldn’t help but find it just slightly amusing and endearing as well. Part of him enjoy it, even. However he couldn’t have you taking his cape. Dark Cacao eventually gifted you a replica of his cape as a compromise. You were giddy when you received it.

Despite being an annoyance, Dark Cacao Cookie grew quite fond of you. You are so much more than just your strength to Dark Cacao. You’re a loyal ally and companion. You’re his friend. that wasn’t going to change anytime soon.

Morning Cuddles (Cookie Run Kingdom x Reader headcanons)

(A small collective of headcanons for some cookies)

Éclair Cookie:

.This man flusters so easily, anything from a kiss to a hug gets his face red.

.Though in the early mornings and especially if it’s raining, he’s the one to start cuddling you. He just finds it a lovely things to start off the day with.

.Not even he can escape the lazy effect the sight and sound of rain gives a person, opening the museum can wait. The beloved in his arms matters more right now, the rain commands it.

.Really loves nuzzling his face into your hair or neck.

.Yes, you can even do this at his desk, just sitting on his lap while he holds you close. He can take a small break from his relics, his lovely needs his attention after all.

Clotted Cream Cookie:

.The mornings are always so pleasant, with sunlight fluttering in through the windows as the whole republic begins to wake up.

.Clotted Cream is already cuddling you, has been since last night.

.He loves holding you close to him as a small gesture to show his love, sometimes he just doesn’t want to get out of bed right away.

.If you try on those days, he’ll just pull you back down into his arms muttering “A few more minutes dear~.” While giving you a playful grin. How can you refuse?

.You lay there together as all the servants start to get up and one of them has to knock on the door thinking you’re still asleep. Sometimes you do fall back asleep so the knock is both appreciated and hated.

Dark Cacao Cookie:

.He’s normally not much of a cuddler on his own, expressing those deeper emotions has always been a problem that he’s been slowly managing to remedy.

.More often than not if you want to cuddle you have to start it with him and he’ll follow your lead.

.Don’t be fooled by his cold exterior he’s very warm and being locked in his arms, pressed close to his chest, is just one of the most pleasant feelings in the world.

.Sometimes if he manages to find the words and emotional courage, he’ll even pet you while muttering praises and things he likes about you. He made a mistake about showing little love once…he won’t make it again.

.There is one thing that will guarantee him starting a cuddle, if the outside’s cold air manages to slip into the citadel and makes you shiver, he’ll react. The moment Dark Cacao notices you’re cold in any way he’ll automatically begin to hold you as to warm you up. You’re not complaining.

Espresso Cookie:

.Getting morning cuddles from him is difficult especially since he can go for days without sleeping.

.You’re often alone in your shared bed because he’s busy with his work, but the coffee cookie always manages to make it up to you.

.When he is able to cuddle you, he’ll take full advantage of it to make you happy and also to hopefully get you to forgive him if you’re mad. He’ll hold you close pressed against him, nuzzling your hair and leaving little butterfly on your head. He’ll be quietly apologizing and telling you everything he loves about you.

.It works every time because you can’t stay mad at this workaholic.

.Sometimes if you WANT and are GOING to get his cuddling, you’ll head straight to his work desk and climb onto him like “Hm, dear what is it- Eeeeheee!”. When you start the cuddling, especially like that, nothing can stop him from being immensely flustered.

Affogato Cookie:

.This man trusts no one so the fact you’re at this point shows a special tenacity about you, or a quality that he greatly likes.

.When the snake is in love, he’ll give you anything you want if it’ll make you happy, herbs, sweets, coins, (some things it’s best to not question where he gets it) etc. So, something as simple as cuddle in the morning he’ll find amusing but pleasant.

.After the first time he views this as a GREAT luxury.

.Due to his inner self-image issues and self-loathing, he won’t admit that you wanting to cuddle him greatly warms his heart. So, it’s an act of love he’ll gladly give.

.He’ll always ensure you’re the most comfortable in his arms and he’ll hold you even closer if you’re cold, wrapped up in the snake’s coils ever so snuggly.
