Cessair Revanche
Nickname:
Crimson Knight
Boogeyman
The kraken
Personality:
Cessair is a man of many names and titles. He's the Boogeyman parents tell their children. The reason why people check twice that their doors are locked at night. The most wanted being in the etherium. He's true identity and past remains unknown. Those who've met him, aren't heard from again. Although, those who've lived can describe him as a cruel, bloodthirsty, psycho. Cessair is a sadist with a taste for making anyone suffer. Especially those who've lived a better life or look better than him. He envies those who've had it good. So, he bring a bit of misery to destroy everything that they have. He can be a pretty charismatic and joking man if you spend enough time with him. Cessair loves battling, the feeling of fighting makes him overjoyed. The longer the fight, the better it is. Cessair only cares for himself. Only desiring to bring back what was his.
Age:
48
Species:
Cephalopid
Gender:
Male
Pronouns:
He/him/she/her/them/they
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Ethnicity:
Welsh - French
Weight:
253
Height:
9'4
Looks:
His face is unknown to the public eye, although those who have seen it and live to tell the tale can tell ya about it. He has lime green eyes, long phalanges with a few cut off, he has small scars all over his face, and peachy colored slimy skin. His most noticable feature is his large crimson birthmark on his face. He wears a large suit of steel armor varying of different colors from red, black, yellow, blue, green, pink, and purple. Although, there's quite A LOT of red. His helmet looks very similar to a terran's skull. He wears a large red cape with a diamond symbol on the back.
Backstory:
On a planet that is all sea with no land was born Cessair. A cephalopid man who was known for having a hideous birthmark. The birthmark is very noticeable as it was on his face. A large and dark crimson color that nearly covered his entire face. He was a very sickly child. So, thin anyone could see his ribs. He never had the best upbringing as he lived in the slums and he had a mother that didn't love him. His mother hated his mark so much she couldn't stand to look at him. Cessair would often be bullied and chased around by the other children.
"Freak"
"Good for nothing"
"Loser"
All those words he once heard in his entire lifetime. Cessair always believed he was some sort of hideous creature. Meant to be hidden away from the world. Yet, there was only one person who looked at him with admiration. A young ursid woman with beautiful black hair and blue eyes that rivaled the deep sea. Her name was Elise, an ursid who decided to travel to the planet to write an article about the inhabitants. One day while Cessair was being chased, Elise hid him away before his tormentors could get to him. Elise felt sympathetic towards Cessair. She knew he didn't mean any harm. She could also tell that he was very lonely. With others constantly making fun of him, who would be. Elise decided to be his first friend. Cessair couldn't believe his own eyes after she agreed to be around him. He never thought that anyone would. The two would spend their time together talking walks, having picnics, and stargazing. Their friendship was special. Very special. Cessair began to fall in love with Elise. As the only person who showed him any affection, he grew very attached to her. Cessair never had the guts to tell Julia about his true feelings. He would work himself up just to chicken out of it. Cessair promised himself that he would confess. Unfortunately, that day never came to be. Elise had passed away under mysterious manner. One rumor being she discovered some unsavory secrets about the kingdom. So, the queen wanted her to "disappear". After learning of her passing, Cessair felt nothing anymore. No fear, no pain, no sadness. For awhile he just felt so somber. Never had he experienced such loss. The only person who loved him, is no longer with him. The moment one of his bullies made fun of him, Cessair didn't hold back anymore. He made that bully suffer... After he enjoyed making his own bully suffer, Cessair went onto find every last individual that caused him any pain. He enjoyed making them feel it. For once he knew what it was like to make the other person feel his pain. Cessair enjoyed it so much that he devoted his life to it. From now on he'd make anyone and anything suffer. Cessair trained himself to fight with sickles he'd use. Made his own suit of armor from iron he'd steal from pirates. After a few months, from the weak sickly child everyone knew, he became an utter menace. He'd chase down innocent people and make them suffer. Cessair would drench his armor in their blood to strike fear into his victims. So that they know, there is no escape from the Crimson Knight. After being on the run from planet to planet, Cessair discovered that staffs exist to grant any power to any being the seeks them out. Interested, Cessair decided he'd go out to find them. Perhaps if he collected all, he could make a new universe. One where everything he ever wanted came true. Perhaps one where he could get Elise back. Cessair's progress has been getting very close. He's already "found" seven of them. He just needs six more.

"I'm going to go look for a bulletin board," Tricky pipes up eagerly, "There are probably exciting jobs to follow up on, so I'll catch you later! Good luck with your slimes quest!" They head off into town, followed by the guard and voidkin.
You trot after them, feeling the warmth of the early afternoon sun beating on your slime flesh.
Mirrow && I completely forgot what sun feels like &&
Humphrey ## what do you think? ##
Mirrow && Makes me feel queasy for some reason. Let's go find some shade quick &&
Tumblr media
You also feel a little nauseous as the heat builds up in your body. Or, maybe nauseous isn't the right word. Loose? Less solid?  You realize suddenly that the heat is causing your flesh to flow more easily. You've spent so much time in the cool morning, the chill nights and the dark caves that you haven't had a chance to experience heat yet.  You're not melting exactly, just runnier. It doesn't seem to affect any of your abilities, you're just slimier when warm. Neat!
Humphrey ## I wanna go check out the HoneyHive! Such a famous slime shop might know a thing or two about us! Plus we should try to get one of those crystal spell books that guard told us about.
Godrender $$ we would like to be polished and repaired – perhaps the crystal smith would even find a use for the core $$
Mirrow && you just wanna look pretty and shiny, nerd &&
Godrender $$ ... it would be nice… $$
"Let's start with the HoneyHive, and then go check out the smith.  If we find something else exciting, I'm sure we can go check it out."  You press your hand against your chest, feeling the hard core under the surface, "If they've waited this long, our pieces can wait just a little bit longer."
Tumblr media
You enter the town.
Humphrey ## wh-whoah.. there's a lot of people here.. ##
Crowds of people walk about, some rushing by, some stopping to chat with friends, all milling about purposefully.  Slimes, cats, voidkin, several humans, strange creatures with large eyes.  Several pop up shops, tents, booths and wagons loaded with various goods and trinkets fill the town center.  Tall buildings, inns, larger shops and homes fill the skyline.
Tumblr media
"E-excuse me," you stop one of the cats as they rush by, "we're looking for the HoneyHive, can you point us to it?"
They glance from the direction you came and back at you, two of their four eyes looking at you.  "Oh, Hytherfolk, neat!  Not many of you slimes end up coming this way.  Yeah, it's like, go down that way, can't miss it.  Big purple crystal building.  Welcome to town!"
Tumblr media
They run off, and you follow their directions, coming to large crystal structure.  It's shaped similar to the unicorn doctor's tower, tho it's not as straight.  A wooden sign hanging above the door reads "Candyfloss' HoneyHive".
Tumblr media
You enter the shop.  It's brightly lit inside, several hanging lanterns illuminating the space with a soft pink light.  Large shelves and tables line the wall, all stacked with books, crystals, wands, hats and cloaks, and other strange devices and materials.
"Does any of this stuff look like slime... stuff?"
Humphrey ## Honey slimes and magic go hand in hand.  I don't know much of anything about it, but I know it's a really big deal to them. ##
Tumblr media
A glowing yellow slime in a purple cape pops up next to you with a puff of pink smoke.  "Welcome friends!! Thou'rt finding everything alright?"
Tumblr media
"Oh, I uh, I'm not sure actually what it is I'm looking for," you stammer, "Everything here is so strange."
"A fledgling mage," she cups her face in excitement, "how sweet! How long hast thou yearned to channel the sweetest nectar of Candyfloss?"
"P-pardon??"
Tumblr media
"Ah, p'raps… thou'rt so freshly spawn'd, thou know'st not even of Candyfloss?" she laughs, "Aye, thou'rt quite confused, I see it now.  Garbed in that atrocious hue even, I s'pose a darkling void hath shared its knowledge with thee anon?"
"I don't understand anything you're saying.."
Tumblr media
Mirrow && Ask her about the phone thingy! &&
"S-sorry, I'm just, overwhelmed.  I was actually looking for a thing called a 'spellphone'?  A friend told me about them."
Humphrey ## I didn't think we were friends… he didn't seem fond of us ##
Mirrow && nah he was definitely warming up to us &&
"Thou hasn't even a spellphone?  Thou'rt truly lost, and art fortunate to have stumbled blindly into mine shop."
Tumblr media
She claps her hands together and explodes into more pink smoke, reappearing with another cloud of it behind the counter.
Tumblr media
"What colour dost thou favor?"

Doki Doki Literature Club Playermodels & NPC для Garry’s Mod
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 Who knows! As any goddamn anime character, she has big round eyes with straight hair showing upfront and behind her back. Cat ears and blue hair. Everything a weeb needs. About this playermodel. Another thing that I like is the odd cape cut in stripes, I do not quite understand the point of that, but hey, it looks cool I guess. An anime character carrying a weapon twice her weight. What is there to say? A pretty short playermodel with pink hair looks like something straight outta primary school. I wanna die. With a bit of skin. Hello there, weeb. Shes also showing cleavage. This was a triumph. Wow, Portal 1 and 2 are one of my favorite video games made by Valve and you wanna tell me Chell from those games has its own anime playermodel in Gmod? If you like anime and the portal games, bruh, this is for you. Or at least number 2, but anyways - the chick has a clown-like Christmas hat and grey hair, followed by red clothing with grey baubles. Brown hair with cat ears, cute little anime girl in a white dress and sandals - she even has a tail with a ribbon on the tip of it - to look even cuter, I guess? The model looks pretty HQ and well detailed, also is quite highly customizable. Blonde hair with grey-white clothing showing a lottttttt of cleavage. Another great material for non-mechanical reproduction simulation, but besides the top, she has a skirt and stockings with the flag of the United States of America. I picked this playermodel for Top 3 mostly cuz of the style it was presented in! A cool playermodel with another unique style - a red dress with golden hems, dark hair, and high heels. I was thinking of picking Goku, but oh well. So pretty much guys, this is done. My soul has been sold to the devil and there is no turning back, I have become death, the destroyer of the worlds. Special thanks to: Joyfreak Gaming Forum for the help! Skip to main content. Level up. Earn rewards. Your XP: 0. Updated: 14 Apr pm. What are the best anime playermodels in Gmod? Casual Girl Playermodel Eh, pretty casual, but deserves a spotlight. She has 6 body groups in total Idk looks cute or smtn? Choukai Kancolle P. Another playermodel with jigglebones. You know what that means, close the doors and get to business. Theres also a ragdoll included in this addon. Chell MMD P. What Chell does great: First-person view arms. You can now kill combines in cold blood with a crowbar as Chell. The playermodel here looks less heavy than in the Portal series. Yowane Haku Christmas 4 months too late! What Yowane Haku does great: Gives you Christmas vibes. Great for non-mechanical reproduction simulation. Waow, it even has its own eye blink animation! What Setaria green does great: Does a great job looking cute Glowy eyes. Glowy cat eyes. Extra cute. You can change her face via the faceposing tool eyes as well. What Cinder Fall does great: Nothing too lewd. Outstanding, classy style the golden hems glow in the dark. Hatsune Miku V3 I was thinking of picking Goku, but oh well. So you might want to look into some of these Cooperative maps. You know, the thing that games have been trying to do successfully since Halo Dam, I wish I was a good writer. But instead, I am a writer who loves the interaction between myself and my fellow gamers. The coolest sandbox maps are below! Sandbox maps are pretty much the main pillar of a gorgeous video game called Garry's Mod. What are truly the best weapon addons for Gmod? So you like guns, huh? What are the addons and why do you need them? The addons are pretty self-explanatory, but I get a feeling that you desire more information, sweetie. Which are the most enjoyable adventure maps in Gmod? What are the most kick-ass city maps in Gmod, you're askin' me? I have played Gmod, oh yes I did, hours - countless sleepless nights, mom yelling at me for playing darkRP instead of fixing grades in school, destroying money printers before police officers can break into my apartment, What are the top-notch horror maps that will make you cry? Get your teddy bears and diapers ready! Source engine makes the environments and A Team Fortress 2 Pyro chases a player disguised as a box. Hiders will be disguised as various props and must hide from the seekers, who are supposed Build the world as you see fit in this intriguing sandbox-style game. Start by building yourself a basic house and just move up in the world from there What are the best servers in my opinion in Gmod? Garry's Mod may as well be the king of gore mods and add-ons: let's see how. A bit of a mess, isn't it? Gore has been the subject of countless mods some games, like the Total War series, even create complete DLCs about it for basically every game on the planet with an existing Did that title terrify you yet? Crimson Gods
Tumblr media
Pairing: vampire!Steve Rogers x Reader
Warnings: non-con, yandere, kidnapping, mentions of death and suicidal thoughts, allusion to breeding.
Words: 2362.
Summary: Living in the world where most lands are governed by the Noble, ancient vampires who shed human blood simply for their own amusement, you try leading a quiet and secluded life along with your mother. Sadly, you aren’t prepared when a vampire comes to your town.
P.S. When I was younger, I really, really loved Vampire Hunter D. I watched the movie again yesterday, and here’s the result ahahah.
______________
It was way past midnight, but you couldn't force yourself to sleep, tossing and turning in your comfy bed while thinking of your travel tomorrow. You were supposed to leave the town for the first time in years to visit your grandmother who lived in the Northern Frontier Sector, and now you dreamt of how you were going to embrace her, kiss her cheeks despite her scolding you for not behaving properly in public. You hadn't seen her in 7 years. After the incident, you had never even once left the town, and your grandmother could hardly travel so far due to her age. Of course, you kept exchanging letters, but how could a cold letter, though written with great respect, replace a live communication?
While you kept wondering how your encounter would go, all of a sudden it felt cold under your cozy cotton blanket, and you reluctantly got up to take a huge comforter out of your heavy wooden chest. Why was it freezing tonight even with the windows closed? You were just in the middle of September. To be honest, you hardly remembered the last time the weather was so bad as you wrapped a comforter around your trembling shoulders, thinking whether you have to take your winter nightgown instead of light muslin one you were wearing now.
Throwing a glance at your window, you saw the frosted panes and furrowed your brows, refusing to believe it. Dear Lord, you lived in the Western Frontier Sector, not far to the North! Was it really going to snow out of nowhere tonight? As you moved closer to look at an empty street, you realized that a huge cross on top of a building on the other side started crumpling with a disgusting sound as if it were made of paper, not pure silver to protect citizens from the creatures of the night. Several crosses on the buildings down the street had been destroyed, too. Quickly, you looked down only to find the flower beds withering within seconds despite your beautiful roses blooming just a couple of hours ago. Now they all turned black.
You stilled on the spot, unable to believe your eyes and covering your ears from that horrifying noise. You had only seen something like that once, and it was the time when most villagers had already been dead, turned into beasts without a soul who craved for blood as much as their masters did. That night you had lost your beloved father as you fled your house in a rush, just a little child back then, and, once you arrived in the town, had never even once left your new home.
The crumpled crosses, dead flowers and a sudden temperature drop could mean only one thing: a vampire had come to the town. It wasn't some upyr, oh no, it was one of the Nobles, maybe even an Elder if you were unlucky.
Dear Lord, what a Noble wanted in a peaceful town like this? There were neither treasures nor mechanisms of the ancient, nothing that could potentially interest a Noble. Except that they might be simply eager to shed human blood for their own amusement...
Before you screamed at the top of your voice to wake up everyone around, you heard the sound of a large mirror in your room breaking, and then felt somebody's strong grip on your throat despite no one being in front of you. The world turned black before you uttered a single word.
_______________
Moving a heavy crimson curtain a bit so you could look out the window, you gasped, watching the corn fields far beneath looking like neat pieces of cloth. The view was incredible! You had never seen anything like this before, though you certainly didn't remember travelling in such fine carriage ever before either. It was truly stunning, made of black steel, shining in the sunlight as if it only been made yesterday. Steven laughed when you said it out loud, explaining that this carriage had been more than a century old. Apparently, the Nobility's carriages were miraculous since you couldn't find even a single scratch on the surface.
"Be careful, sweetheart." The man behind your back said, gently bringing you closer to him and further from the window, curtain falling back and hiding the two of you from the outside world. "Night does not fall yet."
"Forgive me my curiosity. I have never seen anything as magnificent." You smiled sheepishly at the handsome blonde-haired, blue-eyed man in a long black cape with red lining.
He let out a low chuckle, taking your hand and kissing it briefly while you forgot how to breathe for a second, deeply embarrassing by such outpouring display of affection. You lead a rather quiet secluded life in the town, pretty much never being around men of your age: your mother was going to choose a respectable husband for you herself, so you never worried about it before. Now, however, you felt ashamed for being so close to a man despite loving him dearly. Oh, what would your mother say if she saw you now? Wouldn't she be worried? Would she approve of your marriage to a No-
You blinked as you stared at the handsome man's pale face, feeling all your worries fading away. As long as you stayed with the love of your life, nothing else mattered, right?
"If that is what you wish, we will travel by air a lot more right after I present you at Western Frontier Court, sweetheart." His deep, silky voice made you let out a nervous chuckle as you felt your cheeks growing hot. "My, aren't you adorable?"
"Please, Steven, stop it!" You furrowed your brows as he grinned at you, baring his sharp fangs you paid no attention to. "I cannot believe I am getting married to you so soon. It feels... strange. A little unsettling."
"And why is that?" There was some wariness to his voice.
"It's just... I have never imagined myself being married to anyone. Surely, I thought of having a family at some point, but it was so distant. I have never even pictured myself close to a man, let alone a High Lord like you." You admitted honestly, biting your lower lip and averting his gaze. "You have never been married before, too, have you? Aren't you frightened even the slightest bit?"
"A little." He answered too soon, yet you disregarded it as well. "But I have no doubts we will make a good couple, sweetheart. I will cherish you like no other man ever would."
Embarrassed to the point your face was on fire, you decided to drop it, not knowing how a nobleman like Steven Grant Rogers could have an audacity to say such things. He was completely shameless! You hoped he was going to be more reserved while presenting you at court; you pictured your grandmother fainting if she heard him speaking like now.
What was Western Frontier Court like? You had never been there, not than any human ever could: as far as you knew, not even all vampires could serve the Nobility living in the high castle surrounded by mountains. You heard its peaks were covered with snow all year round.
"Have the king ever visited your castle?" You suddenly asked, back to your curious self.
Steven's face became even paler. "He did on several occasions, but it was a long time ago way before I was even born. I have only seen him once, and I do not think I will ever forget this encounter."
"Oh, is he as frightening as the legends say?"
"You cannot describe it with words, sweetheart. But do not be worried, he had been asleep for more than a thousand years now, and he surely won't wake up just to attend some Noble's marriage." A faint smile twisted Steven's lips as he drop a soft kiss to your forehead. "Actually, please do not refer to him as a king. The Nobles call him the Great One."
"Oh, I see. Thank you." Nodding, you turned your face back to the window covered by a crimson curtain, biting your lip again. "Can I watch the sunset a little? I won't be long, I promise."
"As you wish, sweetheart. Please come back to me once you are done, it is going to be a long night."
Gesturing to the large black coffin laying in the middle of your carriage, the man brushed his cold soft lips against your cheek and got up from his seat, smiling at you watching him. You remembered being very unhappy once you learnt there was only one coffin: you had never thought you would lay close to your betrothed with your head on his chest before your marriage. How terribly bold it was of Steven to make you sleep so close to him! However, you were content he had never even once tried touching you inappropriately, always treating you with respect: he said he admired your purity and innocence while not many Noble women were bothered by them.
Once he got inside the coffin, you lifted the curtain again, squinted as rays of bright light pierced the darkness of the carriage. Oh, how incredibly beautiful was the sunset in front of you. You had seldom seen such lovely sight as this. Would you miss the sun once you reach the high castle? You surely would, you thought. Hopefully, your betrothed would keep his promise to travel with you, and when he fell asleep during the day, you would walk in daylight all by yourself.
As you kept staring at the bright sky coloured in orange and pink, all of a sudden you thought why did you have to live in the high castle with Steven while your home was far away from the white mountains, in a little human town where you spent the last several years. Oh, right, you were engaged to the Overseer of the Western Frontier Sector, the highest Noble guarding the lands where you were born and raised. He was a peerless warrior and a fierce leader, a vampire respected by other Nobles.
A vampire? Steven was a vampire? Why would you be engaged to a vampire, let alone the Noble? The Overseer of the lands you were born and raised, the one who had taken advantage of those poor humans living in the Western Frontier Sector and let other Nobles ravage your cities and villages, destroying everything on their way.
You were engaged to the vampire overlord, a ruthless, cold-blooded being who could wipe out every human in these lands if he desired so. No, he was not your betrothed, the man you promised to marry willingly. He was the one who kidnapped you from your own bed at night, casting some spell over you to make you forget who you were.
You clamped a hand around your mouth to stop the pathetic sounds you were making as you cried, hot tears streaming down your cheeks. Dear Lord, why was the Overseeker doing it to you? What could he gain from this cruel game? Seemingly nothing, except for having some fun with a silly human girl. But that what the Nobles were doing once they got bored, wasn't it? No, you wouldn't give him the satisfaction, you thought, happy you were given a chance to escape - even if it cost you your own life, it was still for the better.
"The Overseeker of the Southern Frontier Sector did, not that I expect you to know. Now, please, come back here. You had enough time watching the sunset."
You couldn't believe your eyes, watching him say it with such confidence. Was he willing to keep playing his twisted game even when his sweet facade fell?
"Why do you pretend as if my death matters to you? You will kill me soon anyway. Does it bring you so much pleasure to murder one more pathetic human?"
"I won't kill you, sweetheart. It has never been my intention."
There was something to his voice, some emotion you struggled to describe that made you feel bitter and regretful. Was it all truly going to end like this? You were so young, supposed to have your whole life ahead of you, now faced with a choice to either let a vampire consume you or jump out the carriage and fell to your death.
"Than what was it? I assume you have been living for more than thousands of years. Aren't you a little too old for playing these games still?" You chocked on a sob, barely containing your tears as you trembled in front of the Overseeker.
"I am not playing a game." He admitted tiredly, suddenly taking the black glove off his hand. "All I wish for is a loving wife who can bear my children and bring peace to my lands. I have been wandering human cities for a great while before I found you, strong enough to carry a dampiel after a few genetic enhancements. Please, do not struggle. I have not come to make you suffer eternal torment."
For a couple of seconds you stared at him with your mouth slightly open, unable to utter a single word. You had expected the vampire to say anything but this. Was it still a game? Now you hoped it was because even being drained till the last drop of blood was better than carrying a dampiel, a child of both vampire and human, feared and loathed greatly by both races. When you recovered, however, you quickly turned the door handle and pushed the door, willing to wait no longer.
But the door did not give to your pressure. To your horror, it stayed still as if it were a solid piece of steel.
Feeling the iron grip of the Overseeker's fingers on you shoulder, you yelped as he dragged you back to his coffin with force, closing the lid before you had a chance to escape. The next second his fingers were on your neck, suffocating you before you lost consciousness just like the night when Steven Grant Rogers kidnapped his human beloved.

Rating: NSFW Length: 1614 Pairing: Male Forest Guardian/Leshen/Plant Monster x Male Reader (both cis)
A commission for my friend Dito.
xxx
You’ve never been able to ignore the lure of the forest. It has called you since childhood, its creatures more friend to you than most humans. You spend whole summers catching and releasing bugs and frogs, watching fireflies in its meadows, and swimming with the fish in its rivers and streams. You start to find things in the forest when you’re in your teens—things that you know are for you. There are glittering stones or golden acorns left on your clothing when you return to it from swimming, and at times the crows bring you trinkets like a necklace of bottle caps on a leather string, or small plastic hair clips that once belonged to a small child.
You keep each gift in a shoebox under your bed long after you’ve moved out on your own, aching to return to the forest when life loses the carefree nature of childhood. You make few friends wearing your clips in your hair and acorns strung around your neck, but you don’t care; someone cared enough about you to gift them to you, so you were going to display them proudly. It isn’t until you begin to study biology that you find others who experience the call of the forest, but none of them have been courted by it like you have. None know the call of a crow bearing gifts.
It isn’t until you’re late into your twenties that you work up the nerve to give something back. That summer, you give pretty ribbons and wood crafts you carve or burn back to the crows in exchange for your trinkets, and you’re startled to see that the gifts begin changing in nature. Where once there were acorns, now there was a fine tunic spun from raw silk waiting for you when you came back from swimming. It felt like cool water against your skin when you slipped it over your head and smoothed it down along your thighs, relishing in the soft caress of it against your skin.
The next time you traded trinkets, it was for an orange diamond that was as big as a robin’s egg and warm to the touch. It shone red and gold in the light and reflected rainbows across the grass when you held it up to the sunlight, and you immediately took it home to make a little cage for the gemstone to sit in while it hung around your neck. After that, the crows gave you gold coins that seemed to be priceless, but you tucked them into your shoebox just the same.
You spend the next few days on a woodworking project that keeps you up late into the night, but you don’t mind; the bracelet, when finished, is your finest work, carved to display flowers and vines and inlaid with small chips of all the precious stones you’ve received over the years. The response is swift and shocking: this time, the crows bring you a glittering ring. The message is clear, and it frightens you a little. Whatever is in the forest, whatever you’ve been doing, this back-and-forth… Just what have you been courting? A faery? A demon?
You leave the ring and run.
Staying away from the forest is the hardest thing you’ve ever done. The trees seemed to whisper your name in mourning whenever you’re anywhere near it, and the forest followed you into your dreams to haunt you. Each dream was the same, warm and welcoming one moment, cold and lonely the next. You wake with wet lashes and a bitter ache in your heart, until it becomes unbearable and then a day more.
When the time came that you felt your heart might break and never mend, you returned in full regalia, wearing nothing but your fine silk tunic and all of the trinkets that your forest has ever given you. Whatever madness this was, you were ready to accept it. When the crows came again, tentative and wary, you took the ring and placed it on your finger, leaving no room for misinterpretation. The crows took flight and disappeared into the forest, but that is when he appeared.
At first, you thought him terrible. He was half as tall as the trees and just as broad, with long limbs made of twisted wood and thick, flowering vines. Flowers sprouted from his chest and over his shoulder, weaving into what looks like a cape made of vines and leaves. His head was little more than a deer’s skull with sharp, imposing teeth, eyes deep, glowing pits the same colour as the diamond at your chest. He was the forest itself, a guardian lost to man and time.
“I thought you would never return,” he murmured, and his voice was the most wonderful thing you’d ever heard—all birdsong and the hush of wind through the trees.
You ran to him, allowing him to gather you up into his strong, firm arms and wrapping your own around his long, willowing neck. “Oh, I’ll never leave you again,” you whispered, kissing at the skull’s cheeks and along its jaw until your guardian shivered and purred.
“You would leave the human realm behind?” he asked, trembling at your attentions.
“Yes.”
“You would let me love you?”
“Yes.”
“Oh!” he cried, speechless with joy, and his long tongue slipped free from his skull to glide into your mouth to kiss you.
He tasted of wood and honey—of something dark and sweet and wonderful—and you knew at once that you would never tire of his kisses. Heart pounding wildly in your chest, you asked him to take you to his home, and he happily obliged. Deep in the forest was a grand house made entirely of wood and flowers, and you held his finger as he led you through and showed you where you would both spend the rest of your days.
“Why me?” you asked at length, looking up into his face and watching as his eyes flickered in and out of existence.
“Why not you?” he countered, drawing you back into his arms to kiss you again and again. “You were always so kind to my subjects, so respectful of the forest, so at home within my realm. How could I not love you?” His hands caressed your backside and chest as though you were a precious thing, the bark of his skin catching gently in the silk of your tunic until you were driven to pull it over your head.
“Take me,” you begged, and he groaned his assent.
He laid you back tenderly into the grasp of several vines as soft as velvet, and you felt both utterly safe and entirely exposed when the vines pinned your wrists above your head and spread your thighs to reveal your hardness. “You are so beautiful,” he murmured, carefully tracing the tip of one gnarled finger down along your twitching cock.
“Tell me your name?” you whimpered, pushing up into his touch and being rewarded with a gentle stroke of his warm, careful hand.
“Sessile,” he whispered back, and when he knelt to taste you, hands on your thighs, you noticed the bracelet you made on one of his fingers, worn like a ring.
“Sessile,” you moaned, writhing around the press of his hot, slippery tongue. It was working you open at a pace that was maddening—too fast one moment, too slow the next. “Please.”
“‘Please’ what, my love?” he murmured when he pulled away, eyes a soft shade of red that reminded you of roses.
You squirmed under his gaze, moaning again when his tongue wrapped around your cock and stroked. “Oh, gods, please fuck me.”
“Are you certain?” Sessile asked, standing up so that he towered in front of you. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
“I don’t care if you do,” you said, rocking up against the vine that replaced his tongue. “I just want you inside me.”
“Very well,” murmured Sessile, cupping your body gently in his giant hands. “Hold onto me, sweet thing.”
The vines that held your wrists slid away and let you move again, allowing you to wrap your hands around his thumbs and watch as a strange, pink flower blossomed from between Sessile’s thighs. When it bloomed, it was with a thick sheen of slick nectar, revealing a long, flared appendage that looked somewhere between a cock and a flower’s pistil. When Sessile nudged up against your entrance, you felt the nectar tingle and burn, heightening your sensation as he pushed himself into you.
It hurt, at first, until it didn’t. You suspected the nectar had something to do with the ease of entry, but those suspicions and all other thoughts disappeared the moment that Sessile began to move inside of you, pushing against your prostate time and time again. You lost yourself to sensation as he thrust inside of you, holding onto his hands as though you’d fall off of the face of the earth without him there to ground you. It wasn’t long at all before your balls clenched and cum shot up along your stomach and chest, but Sessile was there to clean it with his long, wonderful tongue, kissing you hungrily so that you tasted yourself on him as he continued to rock his dick inside you.
The sunset found you nestled in the arms of your lover, sharing sweet kisses and a large, mossy blanket that he made just for you. “Will you truly stay?” Sessile whispered to the growing darkness, almost as if afraid to hear the answer.
“As long as you’ll have me,” you murmured back, smiling as you played with the ring on his finger, “and then a day more.”

@inukag-week Marriage prompt this idea ended up longer then intended so I’m breaking it up into chapters 😅
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8
As Kagome rounded a corner of the castle hallway near her parent’s bedroom, she overheard something that sent a chill right down her spine. Knowing this could be her fate and accepting it were two different things, and maybe… just maybe she’d hoped they wouldn’t have subjected their precious daughter to such a medieval concept. Her back fell against the wall as her hands covered up the scream bubbling up in her throat. This wasn’t fair! It wasn’t right! How could they do this to her? All her life she’d played the dutiful role of Princess, never once giving into her whims, but oh how she longed for something more than these walls— And now it appeared she may never experience anything more than a royal obligation.
Unless she did something about it.
“Marriage in one year’s time as part of the alliance…” Kagome heard her father say.
“He is a good man and fine suitor. I pray Kagome will take to him well…” added her mother.
That was all Kagome could bear to hear.
She slipped away back to her room and gathered up only what would fit in a carry sack. The plainest attire she had, toiletries, precious personal items, and some money she had tucked away. It was a dangerous gamble Kagome was about to take and one she couldn’t even fathom the consequences for her parents. But in that moment, the thought of being sent away to some random Prince was akin to being sold like a slave and that was something she just couldn’t bear. They didn’t even confer with her on this! If they loved her, wouldn’t they have talked to her about this?! And yet at dinner they were still silent, never bringing up their plans for their daughter. Any doubts of running died away by the end of the meal and her mind was set.
Under the cover of darkness, Kagome donned her riding outfit cloaked by a hooded cape and stole away to the stables. She knew the stable boy would be away for his meal in the servants quarters, so as quietly as possible, she packed her horse for the journey. Buyo was a fine stead and waited patiently as Kagome loaded him up with a bed roll and her bag, making sure to use a worn harness rather than any of the royal gear. The last thing a lone woman traveler needed to do was bring attention to themselves. Finally with a bow and arrow strapped to her back, she lead the horse out of the castle walls to the world that awaited her.
It was imperative that Kagome got as far away as quickly as she could to avoid being tracked. Her parents would no doubt send out search parties once they found her letter in the morning. So, where should she go? For starters, she stayed away from the well-traveled roads within the cover of the forest. Using a map she’d stolen from her father’s war room, she surmised it would take about three days to reach the border between her country and the next one over. It was a start. Maybe get to their capital city where it would be easier to blend into a larger population.
Princess or not, Kagome was no shrinking violet when it came to getting her hands dirty. Most of the castle staff treated Kagome like a delicate flower— but not Sango. Her attendant had come from a well-respected noble house of warriors, and she was the one who taught Kagome to use a weapon, ride a horse, and other things not associated with a ‘proper’ princess. Oh, those were some of her fondest memories! And if there was one thing, she’ll miss is having Sango around to talk to. She’d thought about telling the woman but realized it would only put her in jeopardy to have such information. Maybe once she’d settled down somewhere she’ll send an unsigned letter so the woman would know she was okay.
Kagome stopped in small villages along the way only long enough to purchase food. She could have paid for lodging too, but that may have roused suspicions for a lone traveling woman. During the day she rode through worn earthen roads and at night searched out hidden caves or groves for shelter off the beaten path. Bandits were still a problem so she needed to be cautious since a pretty young girl could fetch a decent price in the slave markets. It was a lonely journey, her only solace the one book she brought to read by firelight in her makeshift camps. A favorite of hers. An ancient fable of a warrior priestess who fell in love with the very creature she was tasked to destroy. It was a sad tale, but Kagome fell in love with the idea of finding love in the most unexpected way.
“Not like being given away as property,” Kagome mumbled to herself. “I wanna love and be loved, is that too much to ask for?” Not because she was a Princess, and it certainly didn’t need to be a real Prince as long as they wanted her for her. She could be happy just living in a small cottage where she’d tend to a farm and raise their children. A simple lifestyle not full of obligations and surrounded by fake personalities just trying to gain a royals favor.
It took four days to reach the Inu kingdom and another two to the capital city. Kagome had only heard stories of it, so to see it with her own eyes it was quite a surprise. Not only was it bigger, but there was a larger mix of human and demons living amongst each other. Perhaps because it was ruled by a demon? Sango had told her the Inutaisho lord was a very powerful one but had an affinity for humans not always shared in their world. So much so in fact that he took a human Princess as one of his queens. That was certainly different to Kagome, because while concubines were still a thing in royal houses, having two Queens was not. Such a situation could cause territorial in-fighting and has brought down Houses before. It was a fascinating idea, and she had to admit there was a bit of curiosity as to what they looked like.
She boarded Buyo at a stable, then decided to wander around the marketplace to find something to eat, maybe clothing more suited to the commoner look she needed to portray. So, she wove her long hair up into a braided halo wrap style, strapped a small dagger to her waist, and set off into the crowded streets. This must be a major trading station, Kagome realized, because the market had a large variety of goods, some very exotic looking indeed. So much food, clothing, beautiful fabrics and accessories, weapons, really anything you could think of. The Princess in her ogled a few of the gorgeous dresses, but alas, that wasn’t her anymore.
‘Oh, what’s that…’ Her nose turned up to a sweet scent wafting over from a few stalls away. Something smelled decadently delicious.
She walked over to take a peak and found an array of different dessert type confections being sold. “So pretty,” Kagome mumbled as her mouth watered.
“Very and delicious too.” A voice spoke back.
Kagome turned to the female voice. “Oh, hello,” she smiled. “Have you tried these before?” She asked the young girl.
“Mmhmm,” the girl nodded.
The child looked about the age of 7 or 8, wearing an orange and pink colored fine silk dress. Her hair was styled, though was a bit of a mess as if she’d been running around. Certainly, this girl must be from a noble family, but as Kagome looked around and saw no one paying any attention to her, she wondered. “May I ask. Where are your attendants? A young one like you shouldn’t be walking around alone here.”
In an instant, the child’s small smile flipped into a quivering frown and moisture pooled in her eyes. “I-I got lost.”
“Oh dear.” Seeing the verge of tears ready to spill, Kagome kneeled down and hugged the girl. “It’s okay. I’ll help you find your servant.”
“I’m sorry!” The child whined and sobbed quietly. “I was bad and ran away because I just wanted a treat, but she told me no.”
“Shhh,” Kagome’s voice softened. “You’re gonna be okay. What’s your name?”
“Rin.”
“Rin, my name is Kagome.” She pulled back and wiped the child’s tears stained cheeks. “How about I get you a treat to cheer you up, hmm, would you like that?”
“Mmhmm,” the child sniffled and smile returning.
Kagome purchased a couple of the sweet cakes and handed one to the girl. “Now, do you know where your home is?”
Rin pointed towards the castle causing Kagome to flinch a bit. “You live in the castle?”
“Uh-huh.” The girl mumbled now happy with her treat.
Maybe Rin’s parents are nobles working for the King, Kagome surmised. It wasn’t uncommon for advisors or other higher ranking statesman to live in parts of the castle so they could be called upon at any time. And though she dreaded the chance of being caught so soon, this child couldn’t be left alone. “How about we wait a few more minutes just in case your attendant finds you? I’ll stay right here until then, okay?”
“Okay— Lady Kagome?”
“Yes?”
“Where are you from? How come you’re by yourself?”
Wow, this child was blunt, Kagome mused at her bright, inquisitive eyes. “Well, you see my parents are gone now, so it’s just me.”
“Awww! Me too, but I was adopted, and I love my new daddy! He’s mean to everyone else but spoils me,” she giggled. “What do you do? Are you married?”
Kagome was again taken aback at Rin’s questions, but she reminded herself that children are curious creatures and held no ill will towards it. She chuckled. “I’m not married and I um…” Crap! She forgot to come up with a cover story! “I’m a teacher, but since I left home, I guess it means I’m looking for a job. That’s why I came to the city.”
“Really?!” The child excitedly grabbed Kagome’s hands and started pulling. “We’ve waited long enough. Let’s go!”
“Wait! But your attendant?”
“She’s mean and I like you better.” Rin tugged harder. “Come on Kagome, take me home please! I wanna show you where I live.”
“O-Okay. Okay.” She wasn’t sure what got Rin excited all of a sudden, but she allowed the girl to pull her along.
While they made their way towards the castle, Kagome held onto the child’s hand. Rin appeared content now, happily pointing out different things as they passed by stalls or people and just behaving like a normal young kid on a stroll. Most of the noble children Kagome’s ever been around, were prim and proper whereas Rin had a feisty strength that reminded her of herself… when no one was around to see it. It must be nice to feel so free of restraint.
The entrance guards immediately waved them through once they saw Rin holding tightly to Kagome’s hand. The probably assumed she was just another one of the Princesses attendants or servants. It was a beautiful palace, sleeker than her own with gleaming white, alabaster walls, golden trimmed windowpane’s, surrounded by high-guarded walls. Once inside, Kagome was taken aback at the feudal decadence, but she couldn’t stop to really look closely because Rin was a girl on a mission. The child took them past surprised servants who bowed to the Princess with wary looks at this strange woman accompanying the girl. Down hallways, never deviating from her path into the heart of the palace.
Finally, Rin pulled Kagome into a room once she’d found who she was looking for.
“Papa!” The child squealed and ran towards a stately male with long white hair pulled back and a crown topping his head. “Papa Toga! I brought someone to meet you!”

Okay but imagine Sophie and Keefe being forced to hide out in like a little storage closet for hours to avoid the Neverseen or their parents or something. The whole time they have to snuggle up together and he is just relentlessly teasing her because he can sense her emotions and knows she is enjoying the cudddling
The Great Gulon Incident 2.0
words: 3.3k
[notes: this is a long one! really really sorry that this took so long to get out but it's here now! I really like how this one turned out :) although the title isn't very creative heh]
____________________________
“We shouldn’t be doing this”
Sophie had mumbled those words under her breath at least five times at this point, but this time it seemed to catch Keefe’s attention. He glanced over at her, a smirk resting across his face.
“Aw come on Foster, live a little! Tell me the last time you pranked someone, especially Forkle.”
Sophie rolled her eyes, eyeing the bag he had slung over his shoulder wearily as it jostled around, “You should be more careful with those.” she hissed, “have you forgotten you're carrying around live, stinky bombs?”
Keefe snickered quietly, making his footsteps softer as they neared the Foxfire gates, “Don’t worry, I know how to handle these guys, I happened to learn a few from the supposedly very handsome boy who caused the Great Gulon Incident.” He winked as he said the last part, and Sophie scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
Keefe had hailed her last night, asking if he could leap over for some “important business”. Sophie had been expecting something more along the lines of actually serious but learned that he instead had wanted to snag some of the gulons that were residing at Havenfield.
“And why exactly do you need ten gulons Keefe?” she had asked him, raising an eyebrow.
Keefe resembled the look of a pouting child as he twiddled his thumbs, “It's been ages since I’ve pulled off a good prank Foster,” he whined, “I think I'm going through withdrawal! The least you can let me do is led a few stinkers for the cause.” His eyes resembled a cute baby alicorn, and Sophie felt her resolve slowly chipping away.
Eventually, she threw her arms up in the air, sighing loudly, “Fine” she grumbled, holding up a finger when his face broke out in a wide grin. She tried to ignore the flickering flame in the back of her chest, itching to cause mischief, but ultimately gave in, “You only get five gulons, Keefe…. and I want to come with you.”
Keefe grinned wider, if that was even possible, and quickly wrapped an arm around her waist, leading her to her desk, “I’m so glad you agreed to help the cause Foster!” he brandished a notebook out of thin air, “Now let me show you the plan….”
She was snapped out of her memory when Keefe shoved the sack of gulons at her, nearly knocking her off balance.
“Ah- sorry, I just need to unlock the gate” Keefe quickly apologized as he pulled out what looked like a keycard and swiped it over a sensor next to the doors. He tugged the hood of his black cape over his eyes and face, stepping in front of Sophie slightly as if to block her from view.
“What's wrong?” Sophie asked, frowning when Keefe all but shoved her into the doorway and through the large crystal halls.
“Sorry,” he said again, “There are security cameras hidden behind the large pillars.”
Sophie smirked, “How did you manage to figure that out?” she asked, handing him back the bag of gulons.
Keefe huffed quietly, “I found a map of the security cameras when I was pulling a prank on Dame Alina last year.”
“You really think far ahead in your plans,” Sophie remarked, following Keefe down the hall. She could have sworn his ears turned pink, but that could be a trick of the light.
It wasn’t long until they reached Magnate Leto’s office, and Keefe used another keycard like before in order to get inside. His face seemed to light up slightly as he untied the cord and gently opened the top of the bag. He leaped back quickly, gently tugging on Sophie's arm as the creatures toppled out of the bag, looking very disgruntled.
One of them let out a large burp, emitting a green-gray gas that had Sophie curling her lip and coughing slightly.
“Come on,” Keefe said, tugging her back slightly, “This is the part I wouldn’t stick around for.”
Sophie let Keefe drag her into the hallway, a giddy feeling settling inside her gut as Keefe shut the door, rather loudly.
They locked eyes, and Sophie felt a laugh bubbling up in her throat, Keefe seemed to have the same problem. Sophie clutched her stomach as a giggle made its way up out of her mouth, she quickly slapped a hand over it, her eyes wide. Keefe laughed at her expression, nearly doubling over.
“Come on.” he wheezed, grabbing her hand, making her blush slightly, but she was too busy trying to contain her laughter that she didn’t pay any attention to it.
They raced down the twisting halls, letting their laughter out freely as their footsteps echoed around the crystal halls.
They slowed slightly, still giggling quietly. They didn’t even notice that their hands were still entwined.
Then Sophie heard it.
Footsteps.
They froze at the same time, fear flashed across Sophie's face, and Keefe's eyes darted around, looking for an exit as the footsteps drew closer. They couldn't run towards the footsteps, but they also couldn’t run back where they came, since it would bring them back to the very stinky office.
In desperation, Keefe yanked Sophie towards the first thing he saw as the elf rounded the corner, closing in.
He covered her mouth as she let out a quiet yelp, pressing her against the wall of a supply closet as he dragged the door shut with his foot. They both flinched when it clanged loudly next to their ears.
Sophie locked eyes with Keefe, who has hunched over her rather awkwardly, trying to keep one hand over her mouth, and one over his own to stay silent.
“Are you certain you heard footsteps?” A voice asked, and Sophie's eyes widened at the same time as Keefe's. They knew that voice.
“I also heard laughter.” Lady Zillah said, and Sophie could hear her walk closer towards their door, the shadow underneath the crack growing larger. She glanced at Keefe, who had panic pacing in his eyes.
“Maybe you just thought you heard something,” Tam said through a yawn, making the shadow stop, “I mean, it's almost dawn, shouldn't we be locking up for the night aways? I’m getting pretty tired.”
Lady Zillah sighed, and Sophie inhaled sharply when the shadow grew slightly closer.
The mentor turned away, “Fine, but we are practicing even more tomorrow night got it?” Sophie breathed out harshly, hearing Keefe do the same.
“Whatever,” Tam grumbled as the footsteps silently retreated deeper into the school, presumably towards the gates.
Keefe finally let his hands fall away from both of their faces and Sophie took a deep breath of air, blinking a couple of times to adjust to the darkness.
“That was close.” They both said at the same time.
Keefe slightly huffed with laughter, nudging past Sophie to get to the door, “We’re lucky we weren't caught” he admitted as he reached for the handle, “It would've been worse than The Great Gulon Incident.”
“Ah, so are you finally admitting that you were the one who did it, Keefe?” Sophie asked teasingly.
She waited for him to reply, but he stood frozen, his hand on the doorknob.
“What's wrong?” Sophie asked, just now noticing how small the supply cabinet seemed. A bad feel brewed in her gut.
Keefe turned slowly, slight panic, with a little bit of guilt etched across his face as he sucked in a breath, “We may or may not be locked in a supply closet.”
Sophie felt her face drop, and she rushed past Keefe (which only took about a step) and tried to turn the doorknob, but to no avail.
She let out a puff of laughter, partially disbelief, that she had somehow ended up in this situation, with Keefe of all people.
“You alright there Foster?” Keefe asked, his breath ghosting along her neck, making her shiver.
She remembered hearing about a game that humans would play. Seven Minutes in Heaven, where they would lock two people in a closet like the one they were currently stuck in, and in seven minutes those two people could do anything they wanted until the time was up.
She pushed the thought out of her mind quickly before Keefe could notice her shift in emotions. He raised an eyebrow, opening his mouth to say something.
“Can’t we just bust down the door with telekinesis?” Sophie said quickly, her voice slightly more high-pitched than usual. She cleared her throat, her stomach dropping when Keefe shook his head.
“Two things,” Keefe said, holding up his hand with one finger raised,“ One, these doors are made of a crazy strong metal, like, as thick as the doors at Luminaria, that's why it was so loud when it shut, and before you ask, no, I have no idea why the doors are so thick, they just are.”
“Second,” he said, holding up a second finger, “The security here recognizes when a door is unlocked, or when a door is, ya know, exploded from the inside.” he mimed an explosion complete with sound effects and Sophie rolled her eyes.
It fell silent, and Sophie stared at the ground, “So” she hedged, “We can’t get out of here.”
Keefe shook his head, “Not until morning, all of the doors unlocked at around six, which is normally when all the mentors arrive.”
Sophie dragged a hand down her face, trying to ignore the panic and sudden other emotion she was feeling.
Embarrassment maybe? No, that didn't seem right, it seemed almost fluttery, and she tried to stamp out the feeling before Keefe felt it, but she saw his eyes flicker.
She swallowed thickly.
“Are you sure?” her voice squeaked slightly, and she cleared her throat quickly.
Keefe's eyes seemed to glow slightly in the dim light, and it was then that she realized how small the supply closet was. Sophie and Keefe's feet were touching, even though they were on opposite walls.
“Oh, I'm sure,” his voice had dropped an octave, and Sophie felt her cheeks flush. He moved slightly, pushing himself off the wall and positioning his leg in between hers as he leaned next to her ear, caging her in with his elbows braced against the wall behind her, “What's wrong, Foster? I’d say you almost seem nervous.” his tone was different, deeper, it lacked its usual teasing tone.
Sophie found it difficult to breathe, and when she did take a shaky breath, it didn’t help, because all she got was a lung full of Keefe.
He smelled cool and minty, almost like the peppermint bark that her human family used to make around the holidays, with a hint of the ocean, no doubt from the white foam waves that he said he swam in every morning. Sophie suddenly felt herself imagining what he would look like after swimming in the water, with his hair flat against his head, and sweat curling around his jawline and his shirtless chest-
STOP! her mind screamed, forcing herself to shred the image from her brain and frantically trying to stop her emotions from getting even more out of control.
She could feel his breath hot against her neck and she shivered as she felt his lips curl into a sly grin. She forced her eyes to look dead at the wall in front of her, certain that if she glanced at Keefe, things would definitely go south, not that Sophie would be complaining-
Stop. her mind growled again, more firmly, as if bating this other, more feral Sophie with a wooden bat into a dark corner of her mind. Shoo! Come out later, when you’re not stuck in a supply closet with one of your closest friends who can also tell what you’re feeling at all times.
Keefe's right hand came up to her hip, and she shivered again, partially from well, the fact that his hand was on her fucking hip, and partially because the supply closet was getting really cold.
“Are you cold?” Keefe's voice was right next to her ear, allowing her to hear that he had a deep timbre to his tone that Sophie had never noticed. And she’d be lying if it didn’t make her legs feel like they turned to jello.
“Y-yeah.” She breathed, hating how she stammered.
Keefe pulled away from her, and she naively thought that it would better, now that she could actually breathe and not inhale his intoxicating scent.
But oh how she was wrong.
Because when Keefe pulled away, she could see his eyes, and his jaw, and his biceps, and his lips, and she hated how her eyes quickly dropped to his lips. But could you really blame her?
Yeah, feral Sophie got another smack with the bat.
She shook her head, pulling away slightly as Keefe removed his hands from the sides of her head. He kept his leg between her thighs, and Sophie pretended not to notice as she shivered again, hoping the cold could be blamed for the pink on her cheeks.
“I told you to bring a cape, Foster.” The teasing tone was back and Keefe finally, finally, took a step back, removing his leg from between hers.
She actually felt like she could breathe again.
“I didn’t think we would get stuck in a freezing supply closet.” Sophie retorted, bringing her hands around her chest, looking away.
Keefe sighed softly, and Sophie glanced at him right as he draped his cloak over her shoulders, pinning it in place with her Ruewen crest that she carried everywhere, even if she wasn’t wearing a cape.
Keefe said something after that, but it was drowned out by the ringing in her ears. Because if she thought that Keefe leaning over her in his scent was overwhelming, she severely underestimated what being wrapped in his cloak would do to her.
She didn’t realize what she was doing until she did it. Bringing the hood to her nose, she took a deep whiff, savoring what his scent felt like in her nose. And wow, she had never felt this safe before.
She snapped out of it suddenly. God Sophie, what are you doing? furiously trying to act like she was trying to warm her nose and not try to sniff his cape like a fucking weirdo.
She glanced at him.
He stared at her, a mixture of amusement and- was that almost pride? No, it couldn’t be that. Sophie felt her face turn pinker. To get away from her mounting embarrassment, She chose to look away from what was causing it.
“W-Why are the supply closets so cold at night?” she asked, blaming the slight stumble in her words as an act of the cold as she averted her eyes from his piercing blue ones.
Keefe blinked, wrapping his arms around himself right as Sophie realized how cold she must have just made him.
“Foxfire gets cold at night normally, so it's not like I didn’t expect this, which is again, why I told you to bring a cape.” he gave her a pointed look and Sophie scoffed.
She was about to reply when a full-body shiver racked Keefe's torso, making him clench his teeth.
She frowned, beginning to unclasp her crest from the cloak.
“You don’t have to-”
Keefe was cut off when Sophie stepped forward and flung half of the cloak over his shoulders. Sure it was slightly cramped, and it caused Sophie to be squished into Keefe's shoulder, but she wasn’t exactly complaining.
Keefe stood stiff for a moment, then very gingerly wrapped his left arm around her waist, pulling her slightly closer and causing the cloak to cover her more. He bent his legs, tugging her down slightly so that they were now sitting on the floor, and unfortunately for Sophie’s poor little heart, in a very compromising position.
Sophie was sure her face was practically maroon as she awkwardly straddled Keefe’s lap, and she looked anywhere but him as he readjusted the cloak.
“You can turn around if you want,” Keefe said softly, his ears slightly pink, “It would probably help the cloak to cover you better.”
Sophie nodded mutely, shifting around in the blond's lap until she was sitting comfortably against his chest, her racing heart didn’t slow down as Keefe stretched out his legs, almost touching the other wall, and let her do the same until they were practically miming the same position.
Keefe's hands were still on her hips, and she could feel her skin burning from underneath the thin fabric of her tunic.
“Is this ok?” Keefe asked, his voice was softer then she had ever heard, and he sounded slightly unsure of himself.
“Yeah, this is fine.” granted, it came out a little more breathy than Sophie was hoping for, but hopefully Keefe couldn't feel how fast her heart was still pounding in her chest.
But oh how he could.
Keefe was eternally grateful that Foster didn’t manifest as an empath. Because if she did, he would be screwed.
His heart felt like a stampede of mastodons as Foster shifted again, bringing her legs slightly closers to her lap, which caused her to fall further into Keefe's torso.
Over the years of living with his father, Keefe had learned how to hide his emotions behind false smiles or jokes, and right now he was grateful that Foster didn’t turn behind to look at him. And he prayed to whatever god was up there, that she couldn’t feel his hands shaking as he readjusted the cloak again, shamelessly giving her more of the fabric for her to curl closer into.
And he’d be lying if he wasn’t absolutely preening at the way Foster looked in his cloak. Pride swelling in his chest as she sighed slightly, seeming to get over her initial embarrassment and burrow into the folds of the black coak.
Of course, there was the other part of his brain, which was screaming over and over, HOLY FUCK YOUR CRUSH IS IN YOUR LAP THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE WHAT ARE YOU DOING JUST STARING GO KISS HER YOU ABSOLUTE DUMBAS-
“Keefe?”
He hummed slightly, and Sophie could feel the vibrations from where she was curled on his lap.
“How long do you think we’ll be stuck in here?”
He shrugged,“ at least for a couple more hours I’d guess.”
She felt his head lean forward, and she squeaked when his hands came around her hips instead of tucked into his side. He hesitated for a second, and she felt her face burn, trying to ignore the fact that they would be in this position for a few more hours.
Suddenly she felt his chin on her shoulder. His breath fanned across her right ear and cheek. Sophie fought not to shiver because she doubted Keefe would believe her if she told him she was still cold.
“Why?” Keefe questioned, and Sophie could hear the timbre of his voice again, vibrating next to her ear.
A voice in the back of her mind told her that she should be on the other side of the room, frantically trying to hide her flustered emotions from the empath, but…
She sighed, leaning her head against his, feeling his eyelashes flutter next to her cheek as she closed her eyes, “Just wondering.” she mumbled, a small smile creeping onto her face as Keefe pulled her slightly closer under the cloak.
Keefe echoed her smile, tugging her back against his chest and bringing his hands across hers. A slight blush tinged his cheeks, but he could feel her emotions against his chest, and they were…
Flustered, yeah. But also… calm, and almost, soft.
Exhaustion pawed at the teens. And Sophie found herself burrowing further into Keefe's chest. And Keefe found himself curling closer into Sophie.
They could deal with the aftermath of this prank later. Right now? They were comfortable, warm, and happy.

Reminder [2]
Dabi x F!Reader x Hawks
Warnings: violence, fluff, swearing
Description: After many years, a familiar face decides to make an unexpected visit at your house before your date with Hawks.
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3]
Tumblr media
“Hey, you’re the kid that almost died right? I’m Keigo. But they want us to use our hero names so I’m Hawks. But call me Keigo when they’re not around. You’re actually really pretty.”
Boy, did this kid talk a lot. Everyday he’d come up to you, blabbering about some unimportant thing that you had no interest in. One day, something Keigo said had actually caught your attention. “Yo, so I heard there’s gonna be some new kid but he’s not gonna stay here. He’s only here for ‘extra’ training cause his dad teaches him...”
His voice began to trail away from existence as you were met in your own world. This was the first time you’d be meeting another kid who hopefully wasn’t the bland bunch around you, aside from Keigo of course. Curiosity started to fill your mind, excitement slowly rising as you counted down the days.
And here he was, standing right next to his famed father, Endevour. The boy was shy and avoided eye contact with you and the talkative kid beside you. You shamelessly gawked at the boy while Keigo jumped in joy, seeing his favourite hero infront of him.
You were too young, too naive to know what love was. But in that moment, that’s what you thought you felt. Your stomach was filled with butterflies. The boy was like a dream and you swore he looked like a prince in shining armor.
Your confidence rose, walking up to the boy and forcing him to look you in the eyes. Your little hands reached for his and held them tightly. “Hi! You must be Touya. I’m Y/N. You’re my boyfriend now.” Even at that age, you were a flirt. Maybe a little too bold but you still had much to learn.
Touya became flustered, his small cheeks blushing pink. He began to stutter but was interrupted by Keigo ripping your hands apart.
“Hey! You never said that to me!”
You were too distracted, admiring the new boy and that only made Keigo grow more jealous.
“Y/N, pay attention to me!”
“Y/N!”
Your focus went back to Hawks’s irked voice. These days, you couldn’t help but think back to when times were easier. Times where you didn’t have to care about your image, being able to live life freely.
“Yeah, sorry. What were you saying, Keigo?” You dried your hair, exiting the bathroom with nothing but a red robe tied around your body. You struggled to keep your phone between your cheek and shoulder as the man chattered his life away.
Hawks had dialed you to discuss your upcoming “date”. After initiating the hero plan against the villains, Hawks’s heroic face had been plastered on multiple cover pages of magazines, newspapers, and news outlets. The minute they came out published, Hawks had spammed you with multiple calls and messages to rub it in your face, reminding you of the public bet you lost. Unfortunately for you, you always kept your word.
“Yeah, I know.” You reassured the winged-hero, rolling your eyes in annoyance. You made your way to the kitchen, placing your phone and towel on the counter and snatching a bag of chips from the pantry. Sensing a presence within you, your movement came to a cautious halt. You didn’t spare a glance at the figure sitting on your living room couch, already knowing who it was. “Give me a second, Keigo.”
The good thing about Hawks was that he could always sense when something was off. He heard your sudden switch in tone and didn’t question you, muting himself but still listening to your line. You tossed your bag of chips back to it’s original place, walking around the kitchen island.
Reaching up the cupboard, you got two glasses and a half empty bottle of red wine, making your way to the shaded man. The room was dark with the dim lamp barely making him visible to the eye. “You know, it’s funny. I didn’t even recognize you.” You placed the two shiny glasses on the table and poured him and yourself a drink.
You sat on the opposite side and crossed your legs. When you first encountered Dabi, you didn’t really care much for him. But the more you examined his face, the more it felt familiar, even with the burns and staples. “How could I even forget you or those bright cyan eyes?” He didn’t say anything, keeping his eyes on nothing but you.
The lack of communication caused you to pout. Being greeted with open arms was what you expected but this was far from it. You took a sip of your red wine and twirled the glass in a circle, watching it spin like ocean waves. “Not gonna talk? Fine.”
You placed your glass next to his untouched one and repositioned yourself to lean closer to him. “So you side with the villains now, hm?”
Dabi concentrated on your words that were faint in a whisper, barely even audible.
“What would your father say about that, Touya?”
The mention of Endevour sparked the memory of a buried past and ignited a flame filled with hatred in him. He quickly pushed himself up, throwing an immense amount of flame at you. But you knew him too well. You were quick to sense his move and you forced upon a huge gust of wind, ricocheting the fire back to him.
From the other line, Hawks could hear the loud chaos. “Y/N, is everything ok? What’s happening?” He couldn’t figure out what you were saying earlier, as the whole conversation was mumbled.
Smoke was everywhere and you struggled to keep your eyes opened. “Yeah, I’m fine...” You coughed and rapidly blinked to keep the toxic gas from entering your eyes. A huge hole in your living room wall was newly formed with no Dabi to be found. So much for moving in. “But my house isn’t.”
You could say your date started early. Hawks had offered you a place in his house to stay while your’s was under construction. Being the gentleman he was, he offered you his room and that he’d sleep on the couch. But of course, he originally insisted on sleeping in the same bed. He would pester you from time to time, asking what happened and you never told him.
The day of your date, you walked the busy streets of Musutafu together. As expected, many fans surrounded you both and bombarded with questions. Hawks had held a conversation with you while impressively aiding civilians in need of help.
“You just love to show off, don’t you?”
“Can’t help it, babe. It’s my specialty and when we’re officially together, I’ll be sure to show you off too.”
A young boy rushed towards you, tugging on your black cape. “Storm! Storm! I’m a huge fan! Can I please get a picture?!” You crouched to match the same level as the kid. “Of course!”
His mother thanked you as you squeezed the boy in a tight hug, kissing his cute chubby cheek. He giggled in happiness and his mom snapped the picture. Hawks walked up to the kid, teasingly patting his head. “Woah now, kiddo. Don’t go stealing my lady now, ya’ hear?”
Hawks was immediately pulled away by you, as you thanked the fans and left in a hurry. “I can never do anything without you being jealous. Don’t you get enough attention?” He smiled and held the restaurant door open, waiting for you to get inside. “It only matters when the attention comes from you.”
The two of you were guided to your table with Hawks on his best behaviour, making sure to pull out the chair for you. They brought out the yakitori and you both conversated about just everything and honestly, you really enjoyed talking to him.
“Oh, if you aren’t gonna have anymore, can I have it?” Hawks asked, pointing at the last chicken skewers. You nodded and watched him gladly take it. “I just have no self-control when it comes to the things I want.” He took a bite and smirked at you. “You should know by now.”
Since when did Hawks become good at flirting? From the beginning, he knew damn well that he wanted you but it was a struggle. It was a struggle to even get you interested in him and now, he finally had the girl of his dreams on a date with him. Hawks was found attractive by many. He could have any girl in the world but none could compare to you.
“Oh, that reminds me. I almost forgot!” His eyes popped out in realization and he dug into his baggy pants, pulling out a small white box and handing it to you. You stared at the box and he began to grow impatient. “What are you waiting for? Open it.”
You removed the lid of the box, revealing a silver tiara-shaped ring. You were in awe and slid it on your ring finger. Hawks smiled in joy, happy that you loved the gift. The ring was beautiful and you couldn’t help but move your hand around, watching the ring sparkle in every direction you went. “Hawks, this is beautiful.”
He smirked and crossed his arms. “I know. That’s because I chose it.” You laughed and admired the shiny ring. It wasn’t a surprise that he chose a crown-shaped ring because he always saw you as a princess. “And don’t worry...” He continued. “One day, I’ll replace that promise ring with a wedding ring.”
You turned your head with eyes shut in embarrassment, as he laughed at your shocked reaction. He waited for you to speak but your eyes remained closed with your eyebrows furrowed. You felt something was off and just by your reaction, Hawks felt the same. He glanced outside to what seemed to be a normal day. “Y/N...”
“Here are your drinks-” The waitress came smiling and you quickly opened your eyes, returning to your surroundings. “Hawks!” You yelled and he quickly got the message. “Get back, Miss!” A dark flying creature smashed it’s way through the window but you were quick to jump out of the way. The woman screamed and Hawks held her in a protective hold. The creature stared at you with dark piercing eyes.
Seeing that you were it’s target, you matched it’s stare and brushed the fallen dust off your nose. “Hawks, evacuate everyone now!”
“But what about you?” He asked worried.
Your eyes began to glow pearl white as you gradually activated your quirk. “You’re forgetting that we’re heroes, Hawks. I’ll be fine.”
He was hesitant but nodded. You returned your gaze back to the strange creature. With all the collected power, you gave it a strong hook kick to the chest, supported by a huge amount of wind that sent it flying out from where it came from. “I can never seem to catch a fucking break, can I?”
You ran and jumped down from the high story building. Hawks was worried. Not about you losing the expensive ring. Dramatically speaking, it did almost cost him a quarter of his bank account. But he was more so worried about you. He knew very well that you were capable of handling this on your own but the thought of you getting seriously injured made him anxious.
You glided your way down to the falling High-End Nomu, sending and shooting electrical charges at it. The lightning strikes gave you enough time to build up wind power. You were close to ground so you used up all your stored power and sent it to your leg, giving the High-End Nomu a hard stomp to the face on your way down to the empty road.
You released your leg to see the High-End Nomu’s head now entirely crushed. You tried to catch your breath and looked around. Screams were coming from all directions. Civilians tried to escape the chaotic scene but were blocked by multiple Nomus. Your eyes glowed as you raised your hands to the sky that slowly turned into dark clouds. Violent lightning began to appear and striked the Nomus left to right, killing them and giving the citizens enough time to flee.
The distraction caused the High-End Nomu under you to regenerate quickly without you knowing and you felt a hard punch to your stomach, sending you flying up in the air. Your ribs were for sure injured by now, if not broken.
The pain was highly effective and you struggled to keep your balance in mid-air. You didn’t have the strength to gain wind momentum but thankfully, strong arms grasped you tightly. You looked up to see the same annoying arrogant smirk. “Looks like I caught you just in time.”
You groaned and held your ribs. This was not the time to joke around and you definitely weren’t in the mood. “Keigo, give me a boost.” He gazed down at you before getting ready. “Whatever you say, darling.”
Hawks threw you towards ground level, giving you the speed you needed. You shot lightning towards the High-End Nomu but with each strike, it was quick enough to dodge them. You snarled in dissatisfaction and with all the energy you had left, you attempted to give the creature another kick. It was too quick, grabbing you by the ankle and smashing you to the ground.
The harsh impact made you dizzy and gasping for air. The monster was about to finish you off with one last punch before being cremated by hot blue flames. You heavily breathed and held your ribs, rising up to gaze at the figure that you wished wasn’t there.
The streets were packed with dust and smoke but Dabi was able to see you clearly. “Well won’t you look at that. You’re still fighting.” Blood was dripping down from your forehead and lower left eye. Your hero attire was ripped in some parts. But even with the damage, you still remained flawless. He smirked and walked closer to you. “Just like the Y/N I remembered.”
You limped towards him with an angry expression. He had no right to come here, let alone ‘save’ you. He wasn’t the Touya you knew. This wasn’t Touya at all. You didn’t have enough power to use your quirk but you did have enough power to physically punch him.
Or not.
You fell midway but he caught you with a tight grip on your chin. The pain from your body was taking over and you were struggling to stay awake. Dabi looked down at you with pity, pulling you up. “Dying on me now, Y/N? But we barely got to talk.”
You stayed silent, blinking as much as you could to keep you from fainting. A tiny light was shining brightly and Dabi looked down to your hand, only to see a ring displayed on your ring finger. He grabbed your hand and examined it. “That little chicken bastard gave this to you?” You didn’t respond and faded off, pissing Dabi off even more. He snatched the item off your finger and tightened his grip on your chin. “What do you see in him that you don’t see in me? You remember your promise, don’t you?”
“Touya?”
The boy flinched at the sudden call of his name. Your soft voice echoed in the room and the sound of your footsteps gradually got closer. You sat infront of him with crossed legs and scooted closer to him. “Touya, what’s the matter?”
“It’s okay. Everything’s okay. Just go back to Keigo.”
“I don’t wanna see Keigo. I came to see you.”
Your eyes softened, analyzing all the scars and burns of the boy’s body. He hid them behind layers and layers of gauze and you never noticed how much pain he put himself through. You spent most of your time with Keigo and unintentionally pushed Touya away.
You pulled the boy closer in a hug, never wanting to let go. “I’m sorry, Touya. Keigo told me he was feeling left out so I wanted to spend time with him.” Touya was about to speak but closed his mouth, letting you continue.
“I promise to put you first before anything. I promise I’ll always protect you and stay by your side. I promise that one day when you ask me to be your girlfriend or wife, I’ll always say yes. We can be heroes and be together like we imagined.”
Touya was young and kids always had their own wild imaginations of the future. Always having their own crazy perception in life. It was a know fact that you and the boy had strong feelings for eachother. Even at that age, Touya knew he wanted to be with you. For you to become his girlfriend. To become his wife.
He also knew his ‘disappearance’ had to be done. He was sad that he had to keep that secret from you but it was only to keep you safe. It was what he had to do. It would be a while before he could see you again.
“You promise, Y/N?”
“Always.”
“How’d that turn out?” Dabi watched you with eyes full of pain and you did nothing but stare at the ground. Words couldn’t leave your mouth as the memories were too much to handle. Finally, you had the courage to look up to him. “I could never love you. Not like this.”
Those words struck Dabi like an arrow to the heart and he tried to mask the hurt from his face. He slowly pushed you away from him. He stared at you and internally fought with himself, trying to bring himself to hate you, to want to kill you but he couldn’t.
He sighed and his eyes softened, lightly stroking your scratched cheek. “Even if I tried, I could never hurt you. You know how much pain you bring to me?”
Red feathers pierced Dabi’s back, causing him to yell in pain. He released his grip on your chin and before you could fall, Hawks dived in and swooped you into his arms, flying upwards.
“Am I too late to the party?” He jokingly laughed until he realized your unconscious state. Full protective mode was now on and he gathered his feathers back, zooming as fast as he could to the nearest hospital. “Don’t you dare die on me, Y/N. Not now, not ever.”
Dabi plucked the last feather out of his back, furiously throwing it to the ground and getting ready to burn it before it quickly flew up to Hawks. The High-End Nomu fully regenerated and Dabi watched as the winged-hero had you wrapped around his arms. He pulled out the ring he stole from you and stared at it.
“I’m gonna kill you, Keigo Takami. Even if I die trying or in the process of it all. If it’s the last thing I do.”

That time Kaito (accidentally) seduced a dragon
Yugioh writing, this time.
crossposted on my AO3
A mix of Zexal and Arc-V
Ship: ...what's the ship name for Kaito x Shun? that's the one
Dungeons and Dragons AU!
Please, enjoy~
-------
The very way Yuto Sakaki was sitting on the throne radiated power, but... His face looked sorrowful. Kaito had seen plenty of sorrowful kings, but never one this...gloomy. Almost as if in mourning.
He did find it weird how there was no advisor or queen that sat besides him. The last time the pirate was in front of the king, he had the Kurosaki siblings at his side. But now...He was alone.
Yuma's voice snapped the pirate out of his thoughts, as the paladin spoke to the dark-robed king. "Your majesty, I am Yuma Tsukumo, Paladin of Ellipas. And me and my gang have a proposition for you."
The king raised an eyebrow. "What kind of proposition, and what is in it for my people?"
"Well, you may already know about your brothers and their kingdoms. And...The threat that Yuri's kingdom poses." Yuma stated. "We believe it'd be best to reunite the kingdoms into one. We've got King Yuya of the Kingdom of Flames on board. We want to continue with you."
Yuto rose from his throne, and walked up to the party of four. Kaito noted that his cape was...well, pretty long. "Reuniting the kingdoms would be vital to our survival, but if I am to get on board with this plan...I need something in return." He stopped right in front of Kaito. The pirate gulped. "My advisor and my queen, Kurosaki Shun and Ruri.. They've gone missing and I am assuming it has to do with the two dragons that have shown up at the edge of my territory. I wish for you to find them, and get rid of my little dragon problem."
Ryouga nodded. "Piece of cake."
The king only narrowed his eyes, at Kaito in particular. "You've been in my kingdom before, and caused quite a stir.. I don't trust you, Tenjou."
"I assure you, your highness, I won't cause that sort of trouble again." Kaito replied, having to physically stop himself from shaking by gripping his arm.
---------------
Yuto had lead the group to a dark forest he called "Raptor's Hollow". It was thick and twisty and Kaito wondered how any creature could live here.
A distant roar, that steadily grew closer as the group pressed forward, was heard. One of the dragons, maybe.
It took about an hour of walking before the group had reached it-a large, dragon-made clearing. Stumps of wood and full trees were scattered around it. Two dragons sat in the middle, one roaring in pain and the other whimpering while trying to help the other.
The roaring one was much bigger than the other. Its scales a dark green, with a lighter teal underbelly and wings. Its gold eyes shimmered with a sort of familiarity.
The other was a deep purple, with hot pink eyes and pastel purple wings. A small ribbon was tied around its tail.
The bigger one lifted its snout, sniffed the air, and roared, heading straight towards the gang. Yuto and Kaito simply jumped out of the way, with Ryouga and Astral simply running.
But like always, Yuma was an idiot and froze up, getting rammed into a tree. He cried out in pain. "OW-"
"YUMA!!" Astral yelled, obviously concerned. The paladin flashed a thumbs up.
"I'm okay! I think I broke a few ribs but I'm okay!"
Kaito sighed. That's gonna be a Cure Wounds later. For now, he had a plan. A risky one, but when were his plans ever risk free?
He took his lute, and strummed a small tune, letting the spell he had prepared be cast on the dragon. The dragon tilted its head and looked at the bard, listening to the tune. Kaito continued to just...play. Not just for his spell, to to calm himself down as well. Playing music always seemed to help.
As his tune ended, the bard put his lute back, and held a hand out to the dragon. "Hello, there." He said. "Are you hurt?"
The dragon nodded, holding up its tail. A rather large bear trap was secured on it, and dark blood still steeped out of it. Kaito winced. The thing looked painful to even look at. But he nodded and walked over to the dragon's tail. He wasn't a formal healer, but he knew a thing or two about traps and how to get unstuck from them.
He barely even touched the trap when the dragon roared. He held out his hand again. "Easy, there." He said, softly. The dragon layed his head down next to Kaito, softly whimpering. Kaito placed his hand on his head. "Try and stay still."
The smaller dragon tilted its head in confusion as Kaito got to work. With all the strength he could muster, he opened up the bear trap. The dragon roared again and raised its tail, only for Kaito to push it back down. "Let me patch you up, first." He reached into his pack and took out two large rolls of gauze, and started wrapping it around the dragon's tail.
Meanwhile, Yuto turned to Ryouga. "Are your party members always like this?"
Ryouga nodded. "Sadly, yes."
"...I am deeply sorry for you."
The siren shrugged. "Eh, I'm used to it. Though Yuma's idiocy can be a bit much."
"I figured." Yuto said.
As that went on, Kaito finished wrapping the dragon's tail. "There. You should be good for now."
The dragon bowed his head in thanks, and made a sort of friendly growl.
"...I can't understand you, you know." Kaito stated, but he got an idea. "Hang on." With a snap of his fingers, he casted a spell; Speak With Animals. "Try now."
Thank you, kind stranger. The dragon said, in its growly voice. Who are you?
"My name is Kaito Tenjo, I'm the captain of the Starry-Eyed serpent." Kaito replied. "Part time bard. And your name?"
Kurosaki Shun. I was cursed to stay in this form until someone breaks the spell placed on me and my Sister.
Kaito raised an eyebrow. "And how do I do that?"
Shun shrugged. I've no idea myself..
The bard thought for a moment. What breaks curses?
....A kiss? That might work!
"...I have an idea, but I have to ask if it's alright for me to kiss you."
In the background, Ryouga mumbled "Of course he's suggesting that." Yuto facepalmed, and Yuma just weakly cheered Kaito on.
Shun tilted his head. ...Why?
"In some of the old fairy tales I've read, the curse is broken with a kiss." Kaito explained. "It might be the case here."
...Just do it then. I can't take this form any longer,
Kaito nodded, and pressed a kiss to Shun's snout. In a flash of dark magic, the dragon-just the one, the other who Kaito guessed was Ruri was just hugging Yuto at this point-seemed to shift into a young man who was just Kaito's type. Dark hair of green and turquoise, yellow eyes, and dressed almost like a classy vampire.
Needless to say, it was pretty much love at first sight.
"Thank you, Kaito." Shun said, with a smile. His voice was smooth and deep.
Kaito took a bow. "You're welcome, Sir Shun."
---------------
After the incident, Yuto joined the alliance, and Shun joined the group. Turns out having a shapeshifting sorcerer as a teammate is a good idea. As night fell, the Starry-Eyed Serpent set sail once more, towards the Kingdom Of Winds. Kaito stood out on the main deck, the wind blowing in his coat. Most of the crew-minus Droite and Gauche- had gone to sleep. But, Kaito never slept. Not like he needed it, anyways.
As the moon and stars rose, Kaito held a hand up to one of the constellations. Gemini.
"Hang on, Gem." He whispered. "I'll find you.."
"What's all this about?" Shun asked, walking up behind Kaito.
The bard turned around, and smiled. "Shun. You need anything?"
The shapeshifter shrugged. "No, just...Couldn't sleep. Why you up?"
"I don't exactly need to sleep." Kaito stated, pointing at his pointy ears. "Just meditation every once in a while. Comes with being a half elf."
"Ah." Shun said. "...May I ask who Gem is?"
"...Gemini is one of my siblings." The bard stated. "Hart isn't my only one. We have ten others, and Gemini's one of them." Kaito explained. "...They'd be 15, today."
"...Did they die?" Shun asked.
Kaito shook his head. "No. Just...Father mistreated them and Virgo. So all of us ran away from him and...we somehow got separated. I'm still searching for them."
"What were they like?"
"Well, Gem's really bright and fun. They loved it when I sang. And Virgo was just really shy, but she got along well with basically everyone." Kaito said. "I miss them..."
"I know the feeling, dude." Shun said. "One time I lost Ruri, and I almost went insane trying to find her."
Kaito chuckled. "I can see it, I suppose."
"Yeah..." Shun gave a small laugh of his own. "One more question?"
"Yeah?"
"...Your siblings seemed to be named after the zodiacs, but you and Haruto aren't?"
"Oh, that. We chose these names to distance ourselves from our father." Kaito explained. "My real name is Sagittarius."
Shun smiled. "..Kaito fits you a bit better."
"I know, it does. Now I've got two questions of my own." Kaito stated. "One, mind calling me Kite? We're friends, now. You don't need to be so formal."
Shun nodded. "Sure, Kite. ..What's the second?"
Kaito-Kite-smiled. "....Is there anyone out there whom you like?"
The shapeshifter blushed. "..T-there's someone. Not s-sure if he reciprocates."
The pirate raised an eyebrow. "Who?"
"...W-well, it's you.." Shun confessed.
Though Kite kept his cool, he was screaming on the inside. This hottie liked him? WHAT THE HELL?
He took a deep breath, and calmed himself. "What if I said I liked you back?"
Shun's face gained a dusting of red. "...Wait, seriously?"
Kite nodded. "Why wouldn't I? You seem like a nice fellow, and it helps that you look positively handsome."
"I.. I m-mean... Oh fuck it." Shun grabbed Kite by the coat, and pulled him in for a kiss.
Kite blushed heavily, but...well, he kissed back. His arms wrapped around Shun's waist and pulled him close.
It wasn't anything big, it was just a kiss, but Kite, in that moment, felt utterly elated.
When the two had to pull away for air, he smiled. "Look at that. I seduced the dragon."
Shun huffed. "Yeah, yeah. Guess you did.."

Sansa Stark and The Exile Prince
You're not my homeland anymore So what am I defending now? You were my town, now I'm in exile, seeing you out (...) I'm not your problem anymore So who am I offending now? You were my crown, now I'm in exile, seeing you out
—Exile ~ Taylor Swift feat. Bon Iver (*)
***
At the end of Game of Thrones, the TV Show, Jon Snow is a prince, but he is exiled from his homeland. Sansa fought for Jon's release after Daenerys’ murder, but he was sent to the Night's Watch.
Then at their farewell, Sansa regrets she was unable to gain Jon’s release, but he comforts her by saying the North will be in good hands under her guidance.
That’s why the new Taylor Swift’s Folklore song: Exile, featuring Bon Iver, is making all our wounded jonsa hearts bleed again...
[Let’s cry together while watching this beautiful Exile Jonsa fanvideo...]
Last year, Sansa’s fight for Jon to be released reminded me very much of her pleadings for Ned’s freedom:
The king! Sansa blinked back her tears. Joffrey was the king now, she thought. Her gallant prince would never hurt her father, no matter what he might have done. If she went to him and pleaded for mercy, she was certain he’d listen. He had to listen, he loved her, even the queen said so. Joff would need to punish Father, the lords would expect it, but perhaps he could send him back to Winterfell, or exile him to one of the Free Cities across the narrow sea. It would only have to be for a few years. By then she and Joffrey would be married. Once she was queen, she could persuade Joff to bring Father back and grant him a pardon.
—A Game of Thrones - Sansa IV
GRRM has said that the major players’ endings will be similar in the Books, and yes, he has also called Sansa a major player, so Sansa Stark being Queen of an independent North opens the possibility that she could grant Jon a pardon, so he could go back to Winterfell.
Asoiaf Books are full of exiled characters, especially Targaryen ones, like Maegor, Daemon, Viserys, Daenerys, all of them obsessed to claim the Iron Throne for themselves, and that’s the big difference with Jon Snow and the reason to be hopeful for some kind of pardon, reconciliation and returning home to, at last, enjoy some peaceful time at home, a true Dream of Spring.
But Sansa Stark has already crossed paths with an Exile Prince. Let’s see:
Back in AGOT Sansa introduced us to a very particular courtier of the Red Keep: Jalabhar Xho.
Jalabhar Xho is the exiled Prince of the Red Flower Vale, likely exiled for losing a highly ritualized war as per the tradition of the Summer Isles. Following his exile, Jalabhar came to King's Landing in the Seven Kingdoms to request gold and swords from King Robert I Baratheon to help him regain the Red Flower Vale. Robert always entertained the notion of conquering the Summer Isles, but continuously told Jalabhar and put it off until the next year. Although Robert always put off Jalabhar's request for help, he never firmly declined him, telling him "Next year" instead of "No".
Jalabar Xho has a strong bird imagery that connects him with Sansa, since she is mockingly called a bird of the Summer Isles:
Flowers of a thousand different sorts bloom in profusion on the Summer Isles, filling the air with their perfume. The trees are heavy with exotic fruits, and a myriad of brightly colored birds flitter through the skies. From their plumage the Summer Islanders make their fabulous feathered cloaks.
—The World of Ice & Fire
Sandor Clegane stopped suddenly in the middle of a dark and empty field. She had no choice but to stop beside him. "Some septa trained you well. You're like one of those birds from the Summer Isles, aren't you? A pretty little talking bird, repeating all the pretty little words they taught you to recite."
—A Game of Thrones - Sansa II
The denizens of Joffrey's court had striven to outdo each other today. Jalabhar Xho was all in feathers, a plumage so fantastic and extravagant that he seemed like to take flight.
—A Clash of Kings - Sansa VIII
Sansa is the POV where this Prince of the Summer Isles is most mentioned. Out of the 22 mentions of Jalabar Xho in the Books, 8 of those mentions are in Sansa’s chapters, followed by the 7 mentions of the exile prince in Cercei’s chapters. But what is really curious and very interesting is the fact that most of those mentions are in a romantic context linked with love and weddings:
Jeyne Poole confessed herself frightened by the look of Jalabhar Xho, an exile prince from the Summer Isles who wore a cape of green and scarlet feathers over skin as dark as night, but when she saw young Lord Beric Dondarrion, with his hair like red gold and his black shield slashed by lightning, she pronounced herself willing to marry him on the instant.
—A Game of Thrones - Sansa II
He was one of the few spectators at Joffrey’s Name Day Tourney:
Most of the spectators were guardsmen in the gold cloaks of the City Watch or the crimson of House Lannister; of lords and ladies there were but a paltry few, the handful that remained at court. Grey-faced Lord Gyles Rosby was coughing into a square of pink silk. Lady Tanda was bracketed by her daughters, placid dull Lollys and acid-tongued Falyse. Ebon-skinned Jalabhar Xho was an exile who had no other refuge, Lady Ermesande a babe seated on her wet nurse's lap. The talk was she would soon be wed to one of the queen's cousins, so the Lannisters might claim her lands.
—A Clash of Kings - Sansa I
Jalabar Xho was present at Sansa’s wedding with Tyrion Lanniters, he said something to her in the Summer Tongue while they danced together:
Merry Crane took the floor with the exile prince Jalabhar Xho, gorgeous in his feathered finery.
(...)
The music spun them apart before Sansa could think of a reply. It was Mace Tyrell opposite her, red-faced and sweaty, and then Lord Merryweather, and then Prince Tommen. "I want to be married too," said the plump little princeling, who was all of nine. "I'm taller than my uncle!"
"I know you are," said Sansa, before the partners changed again. Ser Kevan told her she was beautiful, Jalabhar Xho said something she did not understand in the Summer Tongue, and Lord Redwyne wished her many fat children and long years of joy.
—A Storm of Swords - Sansa III
[Here you can find a fanart of Sansa and Jalabar Xho dancing together]
Jalabar Xho and Sansa met again during The Purple Wedding and they talked about the Wedding Customs of the Summer Isles:
Tyrion led Sansa around the yard, to perform the necessary courtesies.
She is good at this, he thought, as he watched her tell Lord Gyles that his cough was sounding better, compliment Elinor Tyrell on her gown, and question Jalabhar Xho about wedding customs in the Summer Isles. His cousin Ser Lancel had been brought down by Ser Kevan, the first time he'd left his sickbed since the battle. He looks ghastly. Lancel's hair had turned white and brittle, and he was thin as a stick. Without his father beside him holding him up, he would surely have collapsed. Yet when Sansa praised his valor and said how good it was to see him getting strong again, both Lancel and Ser Kevan beamed. She would have made Joffrey a good queen and a better wife if he'd had the sense to love her. He wondered if his nephew was capable of loving anyone.
—A Storm of Swords - Tyrion VIII
The last we know about this particular character is that he is falsely accused by the Blue Bard to be one of Queen Margaery’s lovers and Cersei would be willing to send him to the Night’s Watch if he confesses:
Behind Margaery came a long tail of courtiers, guards, and servants, many of them laden with baskets of fresh flowers. Each of her cousins had an admirer in thrall; the gangly squire Alyn Ambrose rode with Elinor, to whom he was betrothed, Ser Tallad with shy Alla, one-armed Mark Mullendore with Megga, plump and laughing. The Redwyne twins were escorting two of Margaery's other ladies, Meredyth Crane and Janna Fossoway. The women all wore flowers in their hair. Jalabhar Xho had attached himself to the party too, as had Ser Lambert Turnberry with his eye patch, and the handsome singer known as the Blue Bard.
—A Feast for Crows - Cersei VI
"I prefer this song to the other." Leave the great lords out of it, that was for the best. The others, though . . . Ser Tallad had been a hedge knight, Jalabhar Xho was an exile and a beggar, Clifton was the only one of the little queen's guardsman. And Osney is the plum that makes the pudding. "I know you feel better for having told the truth. You will want to remember that when Margaery comes to trial. If you were to start lying again . . .
(...)
Alone, the Blue Bard's confession would never suffice. Singers lied for their living, after all. Alla Tyrell would be of great help, if Taena could deliver her. "Ser Osney shall confess as well. The others must be made to understand that only through confession can they earn the king's forgiveness, and the Wall." Jalabhar Xho would find the truth attractive. About the rest she was less certain, but Qyburn was persuasive . . .
—A Feast for Crows - Cersei IX
Does the Exile Prince Jalabhar Xho reminds you of someone? Maybe of another Prince, that will probably be exiled from his homeland after some succession dispute, that is surrounded by bird imagery because he wears a black cloak, that is called ‘crow’ and knows an actual crow that repeats everything it hears, that is linked with Sansa Stark, that once imagined himself dancing with a creature that talked to him in a foreign tongue, and that once organized a foreign custom wedding of a Lady with whom he once danced? Do I need to say it?
Damn it, George! What are you doing?

And another part lol
Probs gonna leave it at this for now and go work on my halloween fic and stuff
we’ll see
“ARGGG!” he groaned and hung upside down from a branch. He fumed angrily as he ruffled his hair. Every single creature ran away from him before he’d get close! Even in bat form everything seemed to run from him. He swung around annoyed as his cape hung from his shoulders. He crossed his arms. Hunting was bullshit. He could just BUY a deer at a farm or something! He groaned and ruffled his hair when he felt a hot breath on his neck. He swung upright and gripped his neck in a panic and looked down. A large black wolf stared at him with blue eyes.
“Stop throwing a tantrum here!” she barked at him. He jolted and fell down.
“E...eclipse?” he asked.
The air around her shimmered and she took human form, her hair covering her chest and she sighed. He felt his face growing warm and removed his cape to offer it to her. She took it to cover herself as he rubbed his neck ashamed.
“I--”
“Stop scaring all the game!” she huffed annoyed, “I finally take a break to blow some steam off, and everything’s frightened and jumpy! Have you never learned to mask your blood lust???” she wagged her finger at him, “God and you were supposed to be MY HUSBAND?” she held her face with a heavy sigh.
He frowned and looked down at her. He swallowed spit before taking a deep breath, “No.. I don’t know how to hide it.” he admitted to her.
She stared confused.
“I was raised a pretty sheltered life. This is my first time hunting.” he scratched his cheek, he could feel the blood that was causing him to take a red tone. “I… was trying…” he frowned and sighed, “I was trying to get you an apology gift. A friend suggested I hunt you something since you’re a werewolf, and if I bought you meat it’d be an insult.” he explained as he waited for her to laugh. But she didn’t. She was staring at him confused.
“What?” she finally asked. She held his cape closely around her body, “Huh???”
“The war… is my fault for being careless.” he stated as she looked up at him. He couldn’t stop looking at how her hair framed her face, how large her eyes were, the soft pink color of her lips and he was regretting his actions severely. “I was rude. I was idiotic. And I was insulting to you.”
“Yeah. you definitely were all of those things.” She snorted with a small laugh.
He cracked a smile, “my friends suggested I woo you to stop the war but. I don’t think that’d work. But I thought to at least try and apologize. You don’t have to take it, but I wanted to put it out there.”
“Yeah I don’t think I’d fall for your handsome face if it was the last one on earth. What you said really hurt.” she frowned, “You know not all werewolves are polygamous right?” she frowned sadly, “Some of us do want a single mate for life.”
He stared at her and gave a small laugh, “As I said I’m stupid. I rarely leave the company of noble vampires or my aunt. And she doesn’t exactly have the best view on wolves.”
“Ugh. Are we talking about that Hellsing?” she groaned, “It happened so long ago!! Every wolf involved in that is dead by now!” Eclipse gasped.
“I know. But I still took it to heart. And I shouldn’t have said that when I knew you were a wolf too. It was uncalled for.” he got down on a knee, her face taking a light pink tone in the dark woods.
“You also said mean stuff about me specifically.” she grumbled, “L-Look just because my magic isn’t as easily channeled doesn’t mean I’m unhinged! That’s why I work in the human world!” she huffed, “It makes me take control of it! You can’t even hunt a bunny rabbit!”
“Yeah… yeah. I know.” he took her hand and kissed the back lightly. “I can’t really take back what I said, but… I’d like to make it up. And learn the proper words to describe you.”
She huffed, “I guess… It still isn’t nice.” she frowned. “But at least you apologized…”
He chuckled and stood back up, “well. I still want to get you an apology. How do I hide bloodlust?”
“Do you know about Dead Bird? The restaurant in Birdopolis?” she asked with a grin.
“Yes? I like they are willing to cook… well… cook.” he added air quotes, “Meat so raw I still get the blood!”
“Tomorrow at 7?” she asked, “because I don’t think I can teach you to hide your blood lust. I don’t mind farmed meat.”
He looked at her and smiled, “Sure! I’ll meet you there at 7 then. And you can give me my cape back tomorrow.”
“Alright!” she laughed, “I’m not withdrawing my declaration of war, however.” she gave a fanged grin and he sighed, “You have to work harder for me to remove it!” the air around her shifted and she ran off on all fours.
He waved and sighed as he watched her go.

Lair review for Birdwings
Thank you for the food! I will be reviewing 12 of your dragons!
Tumblr media
Chaos: I can see how they got their name. This dragon is just amazing. THERE’S SO MUCH GOING ON!  Where do i even begin? There’s the goopy Shadow eyes, a beatiful and color skin, bright green grasp, the cape, the mandible helmet! It’s a lot, but I love it. I love them.
Tumblr media
Vodyanoy: SEA MONSTER DRAGON! He a good, good, sea monster too. The kelpie mane fits him perfectly. And the accent looks great on him! He looks like he’s been submerged in the icy depths for a long time. I hope the dragons that captured him don’t hurt him.
Tumblr media
Petra: Aww it’s a mushroom farmer! I love that! looks like they uh got a little on them. Also side note - I love the little gifs in your bios! I love how feral Petra looks, but in an endearing way. Like some swamp creature that’s unnerving but harmless. The extra eyes are a nice touch too from the accent.
Tumblr media
Ihaia: A dangerous looking Obby! Ihaia looks ready to FIGHT! I love how the lion headdress looks on her. That mixed with the dunegliders cape and the bracers makes her look like she’s ready to fight in a gladiator battle.
Tumblr media
Ragnarok: How could I not review this dragon with a name like that? So she’s the horseman of famine? Makes sense. I love the flesh tones of her maroon and berry and how she has ghost to go over them. The way you’ve dressed her has upped her spook factor by 1000. The Ghastcrown is really what sells the look.
Tumblr media
Antolini: Elegant and pretty! I love the gold and white apparel over his darker blue and black colors. At first I though he had an accent on, but no it’s just his koi over constellation! It’s very pretty!
Tumblr media
Selene: Another lovely lady. She is the moon and I love her. She looks mysterious, yet divine.
Tumblr media
Rose: Gold and purple the colors of royalty! What a lovely lady. I love the flowers on her and the purple banner.
Tumblr media
Nute: Radioactive ghost! I love the bright green of their ghost against the dark black primary and the bright pink secondary. They’re a really handsome eyeburner!
Tumblr media
Peaches: A perfect name for this gal. So sweet and fruity, just like how she looks! She reminds me of a spring day.
Tumblr media
Zanfalcon: It looks like your random progen has come a long way. He looks much better than the colors he was generated with. You got a good scatter! He now looks very handsome. The sapphire wings look great on him too!
Tumblr media
Smokie: Is this dragon supposed to be one of your cats? Because if so that’s adorable. Tell Smokie I love them. But if not the dragon is still really cute. I love the little kitty on her head.
