randomly remembered a fic I once read with Injustice!Superman, where you're in the resistance with Batman but you both get captured. It's similar to that scene in Batman vs Superman where Bruce is chained up and Clark kills everyone else he captured and unmasks Bruce, except the reader was also there and instead of getting killed, reader gets fucked (and I'm pretty sure Bruce was also left alive & had to watch lmao), but I can't find it anymore.... if anyone knows what I'm talking about and knows where to find it please let me know 🙏
Update: I think I found it! not x reader, though

Pairing: Yandere Superman x Reader Summary: You have gained some sort of memory loss. A man with the name Clark Kent tells you that he is his husband but you starting to regain some memories.
A groan escapes your lips as your eyes slowly flutter open. You lay your eyes on a man with black hair and piercing blue eyes, he was sitting on the edge of the bed with a tray in his hands. He was unbelievably handsome. You were quick to sit up since you were nothing more than shocked to see the man before you. “W-who are you??” You question quickly, your heart pounding against your chest. A smile appears on the man’s face as he reaches for your hand. “I’m your husband, Clark Kent. You are probably wondering what you are doing here and why you can’t remember that I am your husband. But I can explain everything… after you finish eating that is.” A plate of food was set on your lap. Your eyes went from the plate to the man named Clark before you, a wide smile on his lips as he watched you.
After a moment, Clark gets up from the corner of the bed. “Go ahead and eat. I’ll be back with water.” You silently watched him go, once he was gone your eyes move to your plate. You didn’t know if you should believe him or not. But you didn’t feel threatened in anyway, so you just began to eat. Your face was quick to make a pleased expression. As you continued to eat in ecstasy a moan slipped through your lips. You could hear someone clearing their throat, you whip your head around to see Clark standing there. “Is everything ok?” Since your mouth was full, all you could manage to do was nod. “Our friends want to see you later today. To check up on you, see how you’re doing.”
You didn’t know what to say because you had no idea what he means by friends. There wasn’t much you could say so you continued to eat your breakfast. Once you were done, He took your plate. You spaced out, unknown what to do. Clark comes back                                                 into the room, sitting very close to you. “Before we go to meet them, you need to know something.” Your brows furrowed at the sudden shift of atmosphere. Clark takes your hand, his thumb brushing against the top of your hand softly. “I am Superman.” You just stare at him for a moment. Clark was waiting for a reaction, searching your facial expression for anything. “Oh, You’re serious!” Your eyes widen in shock, your mouth hanged comically. Clark chuckles at your adorable facial expression. That’s when he demonstrates him floating in the air.
“I can’t believe that I am married to not only a very handsome man. But Superman as well. You sure this isn’t a dream? And all of this is fake? If I wake up and you’re gone, I will blame you for the rest of my life.” Clark places himself onto the ground once again. Slowly closing the gap between you two. “I want to kiss you so bad. I missed you, my love.” His breath brushed against your own lips, which made you suck your lips inwards. Clark shakes his head quickly, shaking the lust in his body away for just a moment. “At last, I must refrain myself until you feel comfortable.” You nodded your head slowly even though you wouldn’t mind a kiss from this godly looking man. “We should get going. This dresser is all yours. I’ll leave so you can change.” You waited until he left and closed the door to get up. You look through the fancy clothing, nothing stuck out to you. That was until your eyes landed on a pair of jeans and a baggy hoodie. Which you assumed belonged to Clark. You felt kind of bad for just taking the hoodie, but you remembered that you guys are married, and he wouldn’t mind. Hopefully.
Once you exited the room, Clark was sitting on the couch that faced the door. His eyes ran up and down your body, his eyes soften for a moment. He was glad you were wearing something of his. In his head it meant you belong to him. “Are you ready?” He asks you, in result you nod your head. Clark takes his hand out for you to take. “Hold on to me. We are going to Gotham where we meet our mutual friend, Bruce.” It didn’t take long for Clark and you to arrive in the Wayne’s manner. An old man in a tux had answered the door. “Ah, you both are here.” Clark leans over to whisper into your ear the name of the man in front of you guys. Learning or “re-learning” his name is Alfred. Alfred leads you both to the dining room where five males sat. It looked as though they were quietly among themselves. However, everything changes when You and Clark enter the room. Their attention all shifting to you both and they all according stand up, from the oldest man to the smallest little boy. They all seem friendly as they approached the two of you.
“It’s nice to see you again.” Bruce states, respectfully kissing your hand in a charming manner. A small gasp escapes your lips at the gesture. You weren’t aware the handshake would turn into a kiss. You also weren’t aware of the glare Clark sends to Bruce. Bruce has caught the glance, slowly removing his lips from your hand also taking his time to let go of your hand. “Uh, Nice to see you again…?” You lead the sentence on going since you were unsure as to who this handsome man was. “Let’s sit down before we discuss this.” The sitting arrangements were in the following order: You sat in between Clark and Jason. Across the three of you was, Bruce, Damien, Timothy, and Dick. “I have completely forgot you don’t know who we are. Bruce. Bruce Wayne. But you can just call me Bruce.” You nod your head in acknowledgment. “Yeah, I am sorry. I just can’t believe I don’t remember meeting you all. And I am pretty sure I should when you all are…” Dick buts in. “Literal superheroes? Yeah, we know what you mean. And we don’t hold it against you. Has Clark told you how you lost your memory?”
You shook your head and glance at Clark for a moment before looking back at Dick. “It was one of Clark’s enemies. They had figured out his identity and along with that, they found you. They had kidnapped me as well as erased your memory. So, when Clark had finally got your location, it was too late. You didn’t know who he was and fainted from the shock of everything.” Bruce explains. Trying to piece everything together yet nothing seems to make you remember. Everything made logical sense in all honesty, but there was something in the bottom of your stomach telling you that something was missing. “It’s kind of a shame that you lost your memory. You and Clark were trying for a baby.” Your whole world just stopped.
Your mouth became dried; You turned your attention to Clark who was fiddling with his fingers a goofy grin on his lips. Confirming the words that escape Dick’s lips. “I-Uh I had no idea.” A dry laugh escapes your lips. “Yeah, but don’t sweat it. You didn’t know and you have just awoken from a tiny coma.” Jason states, patting your back. You slowly nod your head at his response. Your gaze moved towards Clark, who already had his eyes set on you. It seemed like he already knew what was going on in your mind.

Thinking about Clark and his family as yanderes.
Individually, they're enough of a headache, but together? Damn.
Clark Kent sees himself as your father. The problem with him as a yandere is, he's genuinely terrifying. I mean, ignoring the fact that this man is literally Superman, he's also incredibly delusional.
I think most people downplay, or forget exactly how strong this man is. He's strong, fast, and so insanely smart. All that being said, there is literally zero chance of you avoiding him, under any circumstances.
The only saving grace in this situation is the fact that he's, like I said, delusional. Not in a 'oh, I know this is kind of wrong, but I can justify it as being right' kind of way. Rather, he wholeheartedly believes he's helping you, doing the best thing for you by allowing his obsession and thoughts of you overtake your life.
You don't even have the luxury of a slow descent into the situation. His mindset regarding you shifted really quickly, and by the time you were clued in on it, you'd already been stolen away to a farm in the middle of nowhere, ripped away from your life without warning.
The only aspect of his mindset that doesn't quite fit in with the delusional yandere archetype is the fact that, if you push the right buttons, he will absolutely fly off the handle. That in itself proves that, no matter how much he insists otherwise, he knows what he's done to you is wrong.
Jon Kent is a carbon copy of his father. He firmly believes that your place in life is with them, as a part of their family. The fact that you weren't born into the family means nothing to him. If you weren't meant to be with them, the your paths would never have crossed.
The only difference between him and Clark is that Jon has no doubt in his mind that what they're doing is okay. Clark is delusional; Jon is deranged. A part of you believes you can't really blame him - he's a child, a product of his environment. If that's what he was taught his whole life, by the people he loved and trusted, then of course he didn't see a problem with it. But the larger part of you still hated him, hated the fact that he saw you as the crazy one, as if his family hadn't abducted you from your crappy Metropolis apartment in the middle of the night.
And the fact that he was a few years younger than you didn't stop him from treating you like a child. Granted, he was insanely strong and fast, but that didn't mean you had to enjoy him manhandling you as easily as his father and brother whenever he thought you were getting too fussy.
Conner Kent, a few years your senior, isn't like Clark or Jon. He's completely aware of what they're doing to you, of how invasive and creepy it is. He just doesn't care.
I'd almost argue that him being fully aware of how wrong it all was might've been creepier than the shared delusion of Clark and Jon, especially since he could stare you dead in the eye, blank faced at the sight of your tears, and tell you in the most monotonous voice you've ever heard that he didn't care about what you wanted.
Besides a few uncanny moments with him, he was mostly pretty cocky and snide, with this keen way of getting under your skin. It's almost as if he revelled in the fact that you knew he knew they were wrong, the fact that he could do something to help you get away from all this, but he just... didn't.
The worst part was, if he hadn't, you know, kidnapped you, you might've liked him. He was easy to like, if you ignored the annoying sarcasm and ever-present smirk, the type of person you might've wanted to be friends with.
Too bad he spoiled all that by being batshit crazy.
Lois Lane, to her credit, was against the idea at first. She acted as the voice of reason in the family. Or, at least, she tried to. But the men in her family were nothing if not determined.
She realised how crazy, how morally wrong it was to rip someone away from their life for what you thought might be best for them. She also realised how terrified you'd be, surrounded by people, beings who were so much stronger than you, able to subdue you with little more than the tip of a pinky finger.
But, in the end, they won her over. The idea of someone to take care of, someone normal in the family - someone like her, and a daughter to boot - the offer was too sweet to pass up on. She's an odd mix of mindsets, a point somewhere between Clark's delusion and Conner's unwavering sanity, and that makes her scarier than the rest of them, somehow.
The fact that she knows it's wrong, but is able to convince herself it's for your own good - that's terrifying.
Though, she is great in the motherly role, acting as neutral ground for whenever one of the others overwhelm you past what you can reasonably handle. She seems to have a sixth sense for your threshold too, appearing as if out of thin air whenever you're close to snapping at one of the three men who are always in your hair.
Out of all four of them, you'd admit to liking her the most, though admittedly, it's for a selfish reason. She's the easiest person to slip by - the rest of them have super sight and hearing, and even if you could slip away, they'd catch up to you in a few seconds flat. Lois, as much as you may dislike her, was only human. Yes, she had this weird sense for when you'd try to pull something, but for the most part, you had more leeway with her than anyone else.
As a result, you stuck to her like glue, which lead to Jon whining that you were playing favourites. Jon, you could understand. He was a child, one who was used to getting his way most of the time. Clark, however, also tended to develop a strangely endearing pout whenever you ignored him, one that had even Lois caving and forcing you to spend time with someone other than her.
One thing all of them had in common was the fact that they were so damn clingy. They seemed magnetically drawn to you, hanging off of you like children at all hours of the day. It was infuriating, constantly having your personal space intruded upon.
Even at night, when you tried to sleep, you'd wake to find Conner or Jon sliding in beside you, or, even worse, you'd mysteriously wake up in Clark and Lois' bed the next morning. That always made you uncomfortable - how had they managed to move you several rooms down without you once waking up?
Your only saving grace was that all four had their own lives outside of the household, often leaving for work or school, or even patrols, so you very rarely had to deal with all four at the same time. Your favourite days were the ones when it was just you and Lois. You could slip away in the morning, right after Jon caught the bus to school, and spend the entire day away from the prison-like household.
They at least trusted you enough to let you roam around the farm freely. Well, not trusted, exactly. More like, they knew you couldn't get far before one of them caught up to you.
The perks of living in the middle of buttfuck nowhere.
On the bright side, they acted as if the entire household revolved around you. You could decide what everyone ate for breakfast and dinner, you could decide the 'family activity' of the week. They tended to give in to what you wanted pretty easily, on the condition that you gave them something in return, whether it be attention, affection, or some crudely handmade gift that wasn't worth much.
Despite their joyful front though, they could all be terrifying, especially Clark. You'd learnt that the hard way when they'd first taken you. One of them snapping usually only happened if you put yourself in harm's way, but there were other circumstances where they (Clark), felt punishment was warranted.
You'd once made the mistake of making genuinely hurting Lois (or, her feelings at least), to the point of making her cry. Once, and never again.
But since then, you'd learnt how to play your cards, how to skate by in the Kent household with only a small dose of anxiety. You'd managed to avoid being metaphorically (and literally) shackled to the bed, like when you'd first arrived. Time had made things easier - time, and getting to know them.
As much as you were loathed to admit it, getting to know them had made it easier to handle them. It'd been a hard pill to swallow originally, but as the months went by, you'd had to accept the fact that you weren't going anywhere, and it was better to adapt to the situation than remain sullen and miserable for the rest of your life.
They seemed to believe you were slowly but surely coming around to the idea of being a part of their family. You definitely acted like it. But deep down, you were biding your time, waiting, planning for the perfect moment.
You'd leave, run and hide, go to furthest corner of the earth to get away from them. You always thought you would, and one day, you did.

You’ve been waiting for Friday all week. You need this. A girl’s night, just you and Melanie, a bottle of wine, a bowl of popcorn, and your favourite nostalgic blockbuster. You even got a brand new pair of cozy jammies for the occasion.
And it’s your first official get together at your new apartment. Your very own. No more roommates, no more arguments over dishes and dust and a shared bathroom. It’s all yours! It’s almost like a housewarming, even if it is just a bachelor suite.
A new home, a new city, and an old friend. You haven't seen Melanie in years. You keep in touch here and there but she always seems to have so much going on. Now you're in the same place, it won't be so hard.
You bounce in the door, excited to get started on your prep. You leave your work bag in the entryway beside your shoes as your mind runs a mile ahead of you. You’ll fold out the futon couch and throw all your pillows on it. And the extra comforter can go on top. And you’ll put a scarf over the lamp, oh, and you got some candy for the spread.
It’s a bit childish but it’s been so long since you could just throw away your daily toil and forget. No overtime, no grind, just a night to reconnect and refresh. You grab your bag from the short hallway and take out the clay masks you bought at the drugstore on your way home, you thought that would be so cute!
You pull out your phone and search for the digital rental on your account, wanting it ready to cast as soon as Melanie’s there. Your screen suddenly lights up with an incoming call, interrupting your browsing. You answer, excitedly greeting your best friend.
“Melly Bean,” you chime, “I was just getting everything ready–”
“Oh, really?” Her voice is willowy, “that’s… I’m sorry.”
“What?” You clutch your hand in front of your stomach, your chest filling with dread. You know that tone.
“I totally forgot and I made other plans–”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, I know, it’s shitty but I really can’t cancel and we can do it next week, right? I’ll host. I have a bottle of rose here, or I could make some sangria–”
“Uh, yeah,” you feel like you’ve been punched, “yeah, sure, that’s… that’s fine. Things happen.” You shake your head at yourself as you try to stem your disappointment, “good thing I didn’t even get started…” You look at the futon, covered in pillows and the fluffy pink duvet, “I actually just got in the door, long day at work–”
“You ready?” A distant, deep voice creeps under your rambling from the speaker.
“Sorry, I gotta go,” she interrupts, “I’ll call you tomorrow, okay? Again, I’m sorry. I’m so stupid. I should’ve put it in my calendar.”
“No, no, it’s fine,” you assure her softly, “call me. Talk later, Mel–”
The line dies before you can finish your sentence. You pull the phone away and frown at the timed out call. You sniff and toss it onto the futon. Well, you can still have a good night. Alone. Catch up on a show and pamper yourself. Your skin is getting a bit patchy.
Or just lay here and watch the same thing you watch every night. Suddenly, you have no energy. You flop onto the mattress, the metal frame creaking loudly, and sigh. Another lazy night, all by yourself.
🏙️
Melanie doesn't answer your call on Saturday. You try not to dwell on it but you know she's not working. Her nine-to-five keeps her planted at her desk Monday to Friday, just like you. Well, you can't be mad at her for having a life.
She texts on Sunday. Just a short but sweet confirmation for next Friday. A heart emoji along with a promise that you'll see each other then. You can bring all your snacks and the face masks, and even your cute new pajamas. Her place must be a lot nicer than yours on her executive assistant salary.
A new week begins but Monday isn't as difficult as usual. You have something to look forward to. Again. This time, it will actually happen.
You spend your days with the spreadsheets and menial reports. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday all blend together into an endless slog but Friday comes around with a special shine. It's the day.
You breeze through the day, lighter than usual. You even packed everything up so you could commute straight to Melanie's place. She's been texting, saying she's excited. Well, she sent a message at 10:38am.
It'll be just like in high school, when you sat up all night and giggled. Except this time, you're not too young for the movie you're watching. No, you'll be just like the metropolitan women you watched on the screen, gal pals!
You take the twelve out towards the east side of the city and get off a few blocks from her building, at least according to your GPS. You walk in a full circle before you get your bearings and end up just outside the grated door. You tap the small button to buzz her number and wait. It's a lot fancier than your apartments.
You ring several times without answer, your stomach swimming with nerves. What if she got caught up in something? Could she forget in the  eight hours since her last message? Are you in the wrong place? You check the address again.
You hear someone come up the walkway and sidle aside to let them in. You consider sneaking in after them but you don't know if you should. They might not like that or you might get in trouble. You stand back as the man glances at you and gives a nod. He keys in a code and buzzes himself in. You scrunch your lips, helplessly floundering on the edge of the steps.
"Coming in?" He holds the door.
"Oh, uh," you catch the handle, "sure, I just... my friend wasn't answering."
"No worries, don't look like much of a criminal to me," he kids.
You chuckle quietly, forcing it out nervously as you follow him inside. The entryway is white with silver trimmings and the lobby opens up to a set of two elevators. You look at your phone again, confirming Melanie's apartment number. The man strides on confidently and hits the button, the doors dinging and sliding apart.
"Going up?" He prompts as he puts his hand in front of the censor.
"Uh, sure," you scurry forward. You suppose taking the stairs might be a lot with all the weight in your knapsack.
"Floor?" He trails you into the elevator.
"Um, seventh."
"Ah, what a coincidence," he taps seven and the doors close.
You bring up your chat with Melanie and text her. Hopefully, you're not too early. You don't want to surprise her. You key in that you're there and on your way up.
The door open again and the stranger once more lets you through first. You check the numbers on the plates on the wall; 700 - 710 to the right. You turn and the man heads in the same direction. How awkward. You hold the door to the hallway for him and he catches it, not far behind you. You count the doors until you find 704.
You stop and knock, stepping closer to let the stranger pass. He doesn't. He stops and laughs as he rubs his palms together. You peek over at him. Oh shoot, you have to be in the wrong place. It explains the no answer and you're standing at his door knocking. You must seem like a crazy person--
The door opens before you can figure out what's going on and Melanie's 'hello' goes from a high squeal to dull disappointment. You look at her as her eyes flit between you and the stranger at your shoulder. She laughs and tosses her hair back.
"Oh, uh, come in," she waves you inside, "movie night, right?"
She rubs her neck as she steps aside, your stomach flipping entirely. Did she forget? Really?
"Um, I forgot to mention..." she says slowly, "Clark's joining us. He's never seen the movie before so I thought..."
"That's fine, but er, I can... just go. I thought..."
"I didn't forget," she insists as the man enters with hesitation, "promise, I just... invited my boyfriend."
"Right, boyfriend," you turn to the stranger, Clark, she said his name is, "hi."
You introduce yourself and he repeats his name. He's handsome and tall. As far as you can tell, he's nice too. The cleft in his chin gives him a rugged handsome news and his eyes a bright and blue. He fits Melanie perfectly. She's changed a lot more than you knew.
You give a strained smile and look around. Her apartment is so nice. You're happy she hadn't seen yours after all. As you try to figure out what to do, she approaches Clark and stands on her toes to kiss him. You keep your eyes on the floor and turn, distracting yourself with your shoes as you peel them off.
"I brought snacks," you say as you unhook your bag from one shoulder, "for the movie--"
"Oh, I'm on a diet. No carbs, no sugar... mostly water and lettuce," she trills, "sorry."
"I...It's okay," you try not to wince as you struggle to free yourself of the heavy bag.
"Here," Clark startles you as he grabs your bag by the handle on top and helps lift it off your left shoulder. You pull your arms free and he carries it to the table, planting it on top beside the tall vase of white orchids.
"Thanks," you say as you inch forward, anxious about messing up the unlivable pristine apartment, "you can share the snacks... if you're not on a diet."
"I'd love to," he accepts, "should I make up the couch?"
"Uh, sure," Melanie flutters her fingers at him, "I guess that makes sense."
You notice how she bites into her glossy lower lip and looks around desperately. She's wearing a pretty black dress and there's a sparkly clutch on the half-circle table by the wall. You thought Melanie would be your one piece of home in the city but now you feel even more out of place. Uninvited.
"If it's a bad time," you begin.
"I told you," she snips, "I didn't forget. Duh, you think I'm an airhead or something?"
"N-no--"
"I know you went and got your fancy degrees," she sniffs, "but I don't need paper to tell me I have a brain."
"I didn't mean--"
"Mel, cool it," Clark chuckles lightly, "no biggie. I like a night in," he shrugs, "I'll grab some blankets and pillows. We can have a sleepover."
"Sleepover?" She nearly hisses at him, "well, tomorrow--"
"We'll all sleep in and I'll take you ladies to breakfast. Or brunch," he unzips your knapsack and takes out the tall bottle of wine, "depending on how much you indulge."
"Oh, I can take care of all that," you offer as you near the table.
"You're our guest," he insists as he holds onto the bottle, "hon, you wanna get some glasses?"
You hear the gentle sigh escape Melanie before she replies, "fine."
You wring your hands in front of your chest and hover by the table. You hate this. You feel like you've intruded on their night but you thought...
Your heart sinks as you think of the message; 'looking forward to tonight'. She sent it to the wrong person. She must realise that too.
"Mel will pour us some wine," Clark says loudly, "did you wanna help my grab some blankets and stuff?"
You just nod, thankful for his diversion. Anything to keep you from wallowing in your embarrassment. Everyone there knows you're not supposed to be there. You must seem pathetic.
You follow him down the hall and wait on the other side of the closet door as he opens it. He hands you a folded down duvet. He sends you back to the living room as he goes to grab pillows from the bedroom. You get a glance of the sleek white vanity just as he opens the door.
You turn and traipse back to the front room. You go to the couch and shake out the blanket. You glance over as Melanie slurps loudly from a stemmed glass, the other two are unpoured.
"Really, Mel, I can just go--"
"No, it's fine," she huffs, "I don't want him to think I'm some sort of bitch."
"Oh, I wasn't--"
"You don't call to confirm?" She accuses.
"I texted and I buzzed--"
She shushes you as she hears Clark coming back down the hall. You leave the blanket across the sofa and go to the table. You pour the other two glasses and step back, too uneasy to claim one of your own. Instead, you busy yourself unpacking the snacks but you don't even know if you'll have any yourself.
"You girls sit," Clark insists as he drops the pillows on the sofa, "I'll get everything ready. Oh, hon, you should go put some pajamas on, get in the spirit. You could lend some to your friend too."
"Erm, I brought my own," you offer, "just... thought they were cute."
"Amazing, you two get changed, get cozy, and get the movie going," he grabs the bag of chips from your hands, "oh, and I'll get those kernels popping."
You nod and swallow as Melanie struts out without looking back. You retrieve your pajamas from your bag, brushing close to Clark by accident, and apologise. You quickly flit away to follow her, chasing after her right before she can close you out. You need to find an excuse to get out. Then you can think of how to say sorry for spoiling her date,

Clark was absolutely baffled by you. You were a puzzle that he couldn't figure out and he was absolutely obsessed with the game. You challenged him without knowing. You challenged his control, his nobility, his very will of remaining good. But he was a simple bat of eyelashes away from snapping and ruining his reputation.
You worked with him in the office. While he worked on the small sports articles you worked beside him on small fashion articles. You put your heart into every little report on the newest line of shoes coming out, and every fashion tip that was current floating around. Clark often would allow himself to stare at you typing, your bottom lip wedged between your teeth until you realised the cliché you were doing. You would blink and giggle quietly and then head back to typing after your small mental break.
Clark took in the sparkle of your eyes everytime, how they lit up over your cliché and how romance books had bled it's terribly cute habits into your actions. He was hypnotized with every giggled behind your small hands, every strand of hair that you swept out of your face. He was just entranced in you, he had been the day he first met you.
He remembers so clearly how Lois teased him and how he rolled his eyes at her. He did enjoy her company but she could not hold a firey candle to your sun light beaming on him. Clark almost considered her his muse at one point, but then he stumbled upon you and he was ignited with a vigor for humanity like never before. Lois was bitter at first from loosing his attention but when she started receiving threats and dead birds on her doorstep she soon stopped, far too consumed in her own fear to try and ruin Clarks love.
It was worth it. Everything was. Clark had everything where he wanted and soon you'd be his, but for now he would stare at you working and as he drowned in your beauty he felt himself slip into daydreams of when you first met.
Clark had been working particularly hard all night saving Metrocity from villains that seemed to linger around every corner. And when he was finally done defeating the wrong doers, he realised he had to get to work, so he bolted home and changed out of Superman and into Clark Kent. He let out a huff, feeling exhausted already, his limbs ached slightly and his body craved sleep.
He headed to work, stopping once for a bagel and a coffee before quicky paying and shooting back into the street eager to get to work on time. As he entered the elevator he let out a sigh and soon a yawn slipped past his lips. As the doors opened he slowly headed to his desk and drank his coffee, desperate to consume it so that it could provide him with energy. As he sat down he turned to his left and saw the usually empty desk, not empty. Infact it was almost as if there was someone who moved into the booth. He furrowed his brows and his answers were quickly met when he scanned the area and saw Perry leading a girl out.
"Attention everyone, this is our new employee Y/N. She'll be working on the fashion section. Treat her kindly, that's all. Get back to work." The words echoed around the area and Clark felt his heart race. You were going to sit next to him. A smile graced his lips as he saw you gracefully walk to your desk. You sat down and turned to look at Clark. He smiled, drinking in the familiarity of your eyes. They were so beautiful he was able to recognize them anywhere from in person to online. He held a steady hand out to you and you smiled, your cheeks raising and blushing over how polite the handsome co-worker was.
He couldn't help himself from trying to provoke you so he stared fully into you eyes, allowing himself to drown in your attention. "I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." He noted your heart racing before it slowed down. You stared at him, a smile still gracing your lips and you blinked slowly before turning to your computer. You glanced at him before gracing him with your voice in person, "You might have, you might not have. Who cares? We're here now." You flashed him a smile with teeth completely wiping him out. He was absolutely smitten with you. Ever since he saw you online he knew, you were utterly perfect.
He returned your toothy smile with his own before speaking, "You're absolutely correct. We are here now and I am absolutely ecstatic to have a booth partner. I hope you're ready for my to grumble over the Chiefs loosing." You giggled at him, and then began getting on with work allowing idle natter to float between you two. All the while Lois stared at you both, seeing the charm oozing off Clark and how you repaid it with your giggles and smiles. She was absolutely furious, how dare this little bimbo steal his attention, she had known Clark longer and been through more than you could ever know with him.
You smiled at him and giggled, you were accepting his flirts and you accepted them with pride. Clark knew that. He could tell with the way your eyes sparkled. Which is why he decided to shower you with his shy comments everyday at work. Commenting how pretty your eyes were, how cute your dress was all with rosy cheeks and a small stutter. It was worth his awkward stuttering to see you beam with pride just from his words.
Today was no different, he had told you how great you looked but ofcourse in his own way. "You look- stunning- I mean f-fantastic." And you did, your lips glossed and plump, your cheeks lightly blushed with pretty eyelashes that made you eyes look magnificent. You giggled bringing a hand up and hiding your giggle behind it but he heard it regardless and was swimming in adoration from the sound.
After a full day of working and using his charm on you, he had distinguished your real blush from your makeup blush and that alone filled his ego. He made you blush. As you both headed for the elevator, you pulled your phone out and began typing. All the while, Clark, you and Lois as well as a few other co workers stuffed into the small space. When you put your phone back in your pocket, Clark felt his vibrate. He pulled it out and saw your notification to the public.
'Tonight at 8 cst! Prepare yourself angels, I am dripping from work.'
Clark smirked. He made you blush and he made you wet. He knew that ofcourse, he could smell your sweet juice from where he sat, but seeing you openly say you were dripping from work made his cock stir. The elevator stopped on the last floor and opened. Everyone promptly said goodbye, Clark flashed you a wink and a smile and you looked down blushing before heading home. He watched you rush away, God you were cute.
"You know Smallville, why not make a move?" Clark turned his head, his eyes still focused on you. "The times not right. Did you get in touch with Superman yet? See if he'll help you?" Lois heaved a sigh and shook her head, "He won't even try and see me anymore, but the dead animals have finally stopped and the threats are slowly stopping too." Clark nodded. Ofcourse Superman wouldn't see her anymore, he had someone else to watch. It was true he had stopped his extreme threats but that's due to Lois calming down and accepting the fact that he was very inlove with you.
And with that Clark walked away, excitement coursing through his veins for tonight. Soon he was gonna break, and if tonight was any good, he was going to break so incredibly quick and then snap you up without a second thought.
✧──────────────────────────────────✧
Today had been such a good day at work. You finished your article and Perry loved it, well he loved how it was written. And Clark kept flirting with you. So much that you were sure if he called you pretty one more time your heart would have exploded from how much it was beating. You did have an enormous crush on Clark, he was such a gentleman and it definitely helped how beautiful he was. His chiseled jaw and his hypnotic blue eyes always lulled you into staring at his beautiful face. You sighed, as much as you'd love to date him, you knew some of his views were a little outdated and if you told him about your second job he would be absolutely disgusted by you.
It didn't bother you, it just annoyed you. Many men in the world watched porn yet the second their partner suggested doing it they would often grimace and grumble. But you didn't care, the extra money was amazing and the thrill of being watched by so many people was enchanting. You remember one time after you had just cum and ended your stream, you were cleaning yourself up, clad only in a dressing gown when Superman appeared on your balcony.
Your heart jumped in your throat, scared of what might happen when suddenly he furrowed his brows and stared at you concern swirling in his eyes. "Is everything okay here? I heard screams." You blushed looking down, Superman had heard you cumming! Shame filled you veins and you mumbled out to him, "Yes I'm fine. I'm so sorry it was um my um pleasured noises. I'm a cam girl." Your heart was racing after telling the literal alien your job. You peaked up from the floor and saw his eyes widen and then a soft smile coat his lips, a light blush appearing on the tips of his ears. "It's absolutely fine angel. Just as long as you're okay. I'm sorry for disturbing you." And with that he flew off.
After that you decided that you needed a job and that when you joined The Daily Planet. You didn't see Superman after that incident except for on the news and you felt relieved knowing that he didn't say anything or harass you. Infact you didn't even think he cared. You smiled, he was a good man.
You got changed out of your dress and took your soaked panties off and threw them on the wash. You changed into a lace lingerie and put a sheer dressing gown on. You had eaten dinner and done your chores, so now it was time for some fun. You pulled out your vibrator and dildo and placed them next to you on your bed. You set your laptop up in the perfect place and got ready for the stream. When you started it, you saw many fill in, but decided for the first five minutes to moisturise your legs while you waited for any sticklers to join.
After you were done you smiled at the camera. "Hi there everyone. I have been so wet all day. I woke up from a naughty dream about a certain flying superhero and then I had to go to work where a co worker got my panties soaked!" You said it all with a sultry voice making sure to purse your lips and push your tits together to look pretty in the camera while saying the naughtiest things. You looked at the comments and blushed.
s.man.kent: God what a naughty slut, both of those men deserve to ruin your tight holes.
filth.y.lover: you should sell those dirty underwear
want.to.fucck: god I am so fuckin hard for you.
dirtyyy.daddyyy: get on with it you dirty slut.
You slowly slid your gown off revealing more flesh to your watchers. You got on your knees and played with the band of your panties before you slid your hands up to your tits and squeezed them in the bra. You then pulled it off watching the tips roll in. You smiled and then pinched your nipples seeing them harden behind the fabric, you saw how desperate the men were so you unstrapped your bra and let your breasts out with a fake gasp knowing that everyone that was watching thrived on your sounds. You threw your bra on the floor and stared at the camera, slowly bringing you hands up to cup your tits letting out a moan when you rubbed your thumb over your nipples.
You then decided it was time to get into the main event, and brought your panties down showing your wet, little pussy to everyone, you moaned and slapped your cunt making sure everyone heard how wet you were. You smiled coyly at the camera, a blush coating your cheeks before you reached for your dildo and started to grind against it all while making little sighs and fluttering your eyes giving the illusion of intense pleasure when in reality it was just a tiny buzz. Once the toy was soaking you lined the head up and slowly thrusted up with a loud erotic moan. You slowly started thrusting faster watching all the tips fly in.
You reached out and grabbed your vibe placing it firmly on your clit before flicking it on and whining over the buzz. You turned the vibrations up until your thighs were shaking, you knew you were close to cumming and decided to thrust a little faster making your eyes roll back and pornographic moans to pour out of your soft lips. "I'm gonna cum-" You moaned loudly and convulsed feeling pleasure swipe over you. You layed there, sweating you vibrator laying on the bed still buzzing and your pussy still hugging onto the dildo. You pulled yourself up and turned your vibrator off, and slowly slid your toy out. You smiled, a heavy blush on your cheeks, "Thank you everyone for joining me today, I'll definitely buy some new toys." You giggled and winked before ending the stream.
You sighed and took a shower needing to clean your thighs up. After you were finished you went to check your phone and saw texts from Perry.
'Interview with Superman tomorrow at 2pm. Get something good out of him.'
Your eyebrows knitted and you stared confused. Why were you getting the interview and not Lois. Did he remember you and was finally about to shame you? Your heart skipped a beat. Oh god what if he was going to expose you. With a shaky sigh you prepared yourself for tomorrow and headed to bed.
✧──────────────────────────────────✧
You left out a sigh, your nerves were acting up severely. This was going to be the biggest story ever and you were chosen. It didn't even fit you, you knew nothing about him! You worked in the fashion department for God's sake! When you asked Perry about this weird choice he said that Superman had requested you himself. You felt your heart race at what could happen and with no Clark around to help you calm down, you were melting in fear.
You made it to the rooftop where a table and 2 chairs were, you headed over to it and set up your notes and your recorder. You heard a 'whoosh'. You didn't need to turn to know who it was. Your heart raced with everyone heavy step that walked to the chair opposite you. You stared at him, taking in his muscular form in his suit and bringing your eyes up to his face as he sat down. He smiled at you. He then opened his mouth and spoke softly and you felt calm settle into your heart, "I do apologise if I have scared you, but Lois has been stalking me and I didn't want to be interviewed by someone who constantly wanted me involved in her personal life."
You felt your heart calm yet your mind started turning faster at hearing his voice. You smiled at him nodding, "I will admit I was incredibly confused as to why. I was scared you were going to say something about our last meeting." A dark look glazed over Superman's eyes and a smirk took over his face. "Oh angel, what makes you think I'm not going to?" You laughed awkwardly thinking he was joking. Yet when he stood up and shoved his chair back, you began to panic. You eyes widened as he stood straight, the power radiating off him was so intimidating that it caused fear to run into your veins.
"After our first meeting I was desperate for more of you. I heard you, and then I smelt you," He appeared before you and sniffed your hair making you shiver and let out a cry. "God your little pussy smelt divine, every part of you smelt perfect. I knew though that if I appeared to you again as Superman you'd be terrified so I did something better." You stared up at the hero, horror filling your heart as you saw the dark side of him. You stood up and took an unsteady step back. He chuckled at you, "You can't outrun me. So be a good girl and sit down and listen to me, and I'll be gentle with you. Got it?" You gulped your terror down, tears gathering in your eyes, a shaky whisper leaving your throat, "G-got it."
You sat down, soon Superman's large hands held your face, his thumb gently wiping away your tears. "Good girl. You see I thought if you were a cam girl it meant you'd have no idea who was watching and luckily for you, I was one of them. You made my cock so hard yesterday telling the stream that I made your cute little panties wet." You shook, it shouldn't have scared you. Afterall you agreed to let the word see you naked but the fact that someone who you knew was watching made your skin crawl.
He tilted your head up and stared up at him. "But the best part was interacting with you nearly every day baby. Look into my eyes, you know them." You stared into his blue orbs and slowly you felt your heard stop. "Clark?" He smiled brightly at you. "Smart girl! That's right! I've been beside you this whole time, and God hasn't it been wonderful, don't you think we'd be better together though?" You shook your head, "Clark this is crazy!"
"Crazy?! What's crazy is dealing with your fucking scent every day, thinking about you bouncing on my cock! I've gone insane just thinking about you being mine! I've done terrible things for you!". Your heart hammered as his eyes slowly glowed red in anger. "All the innocent blood on my hands is your fault. I've killed so many men just because they dared look at your naked body." You stared at him, tears trickling down your face. "Please-Clark."
He rolled his eyes and picked you up, before flying quickly to his house. He threw you on his bed. He locked all the doors and windows before heading back to you. You let out a sob, as he began stripping out of his suit. You saw his tone body be revealed inch by inch, knowing second by second your fate was sealed and you couldn't fight it. You stared as his hard cock sprang free. He stared at you with a hungry look before he quickly tore your dress off.
He eagerly started kissing you, making you hiss at how hard he pressed his lips to yours. You knew your lips would be bruised by his strength. His lips slowly descended down your body, making sure to leave his mark every step of the way. You felt his smile as he was at the valley of your breasts. Your heart raced and soon you let out a gasp as Clark took a nipple between his lips and suckled on it. You felt his tongue circle your hard bud and you arched your back. He smirked and bit your nipple gently. He then descended upon the other, making sure your breasts were drowning in pleasure.
He moved his large hand between your legs finding you soaked. He let out a groan and you soon felt his cock slide along your slit, you closed your eyes. He felt huge and that was from simply feeling the tip being dragged against your folds. Your felt him place his huge tip against your clit and he began humping, you gasped at the pleasure. Your hands flew around his shoulders and your wrapped your legs around his waist.
"God you're such a good slut. I knew this pussy was divine, it's so sensitive for me isn't it. Good. It means it will milk my cock. We want that baby, we want you to accept all my cum so you can be swollen with my child. Fuckin show everyone that you're mine."
He chuckled and gave a few more thrusts before he pulled his cock away. You opened your eyes and stared up into his. He looked amused before he leaned down and gently encased your lips in his. He soon began to push the tip of his cock into your small hole. He let out a groan while you whined, your nails digging into his bag and he slowly wedged himself into your cunt. You felt the tip pop in and then the rest of him thrusted in fast. You wailed at the size of him and he cooed down at you.
"Fuck, did so good baby. Taken my cock so well. Took every inch like a good girl. Doesn't it feel nice to be filled. Just wait your gonna be properly filled soon. Fuck your cunt is so fucking tight and warm. I'm in heaven."
He slowly started thrusting, dragging against your tight wet walls. You panted at the feeling, he lowered his forehead down onto yours whispering filthy words as he slowly adjusted you to his cock. Molding your pussy to his dick. He groaned as he felt yourself get wetter. He started to increase the speed of his thrusts.
He brought a big hand down to your button and began circling it vigorously, all while he breathed hard down on you mixed with grunts and groans. You moans egged him on and soon he began pounding your little pussy, making sure that his balls slapped against your ass and his pubes rubbed against his hand while he was playing with your clit.
"God I've always known that your moans were fake on stream, but here you are. Moaning like a fucking whore for my cock. I'm a god to you. You pussy is gonna weep for me just like how my cock weeps for you. I'm gonna treat you and this cunt so fucking good. Gonna be my prized possession!"
You dragged your nails down his broad back babbling for more, you felt yourself close to cumming. Clark was playing your body like a toy, and it didn't surprise you. Afterall he watched all your streams and knew how to play with your little pussy perfectly. You heard him pant, and he pressed his torso against yours before he kissed you and allowed for his cock to spear in and out of you.
"Fuck, I love you so much baby. I know your close. Can you feel how close we are. Isn't it perfect, your cunt was designed for me, and I was designed for you. I'll keep you safe forever. I promise."
He slowed for a moment and stared down at you, embracing this moment before he began thrusting again. His tip rubbing against your gspot every time. He let his hips guide him to an inhuman pace as he let himself drown in your essence. You whined and whimpered over how much his cock was beating your insides up.
"M-m gonna cum! Clark!" You didn't recognise your voice. Clark was right you were a slut. His cock had fucked the thoughts out of you head and turned you into his obedient cock slut. "Do it baby! Coat my cock! Mark me as yours. And then I'm gonna fucking fill you. Gonna get you pregnant! We're gonna be a perfect fucking family."
Your thighs began to shake and soon you coated his cock in your cum. He groaned deeply, his voice vibrating in your head. He felt your cunt tighten around him and he thrusted a few more times before his balls tightened up and he came in youm filling you up. He left his cock in you and collapsed, his head snuggled into the crook of your neck and his arms winded around your body.
"I love you. Did so good." He whispered before he fell into a slumber.
You couldn't escape ever. You knew it now. He had cum in you and there was no getting out of that, let alone escape a god like being. You felt tears stream down your face as your brought your hands to play with Clarks hair as he slept peacefully.
✧──────────────────────────────────✧
Living in Texas was quite a change but Clark wanted you at his home when you were going to give birth. You were excited. You had Martha there who would help you with your 2, one year olds who kicked up a fuss whenever daddy had to go.
You watched as Clark brought all the boxes into the house, displaying his strength. You smiled staring at your husband. You'd lost track of how long you drowned yourself in the illusion that you loved him. But you know that somewhere along the line it stopped being an illusion and that you had fallen in love with the devil incarnate.
Clark stepped into the room, he saw you staring at him, loving look in your eyes. He turned to look behind you and saw his mother feeding his twin children. He smiled, and turned to you. Adoration lighting up his face as he came up to you and placed a kiss gently on your forehead. You were so well behaved. Ever since you gave up everything was perfect.
Clark remembers the first and last time your tried to escape, you screams over the punishment you were given. The silent treatment you gave him after. How he had to implement fear into you, just to get you to love him. It was worth it. It got him his family. He looked down and saw your growing stomach and smiled.
He turned and began unpacking boxes making sure to make this house a home. He bought the neighbouring farm to his mothers house and he intended on making it perfect. You had already began nesting upstairs, letting your kids sleep with you in the big bed while Clark was gone.
Clark was so proud of you for becoming the wonderful mother that you are and amazing wife you were destined to be. You often begged for his cock which filled him with so much joy and boosted his ego. You were destined for him from the very beginning and he couldn't help but take advantage of that.
He unpacked all the photo albums, the precious memories that were kept in there were truly beautiful. From your first picture together when you were working at the Daily Planet with Clark to the newest photo of you holding a pregnancy test with a beaming smile on your face. He was so excited for child number three.
He had a son and a daughter so he was already overjoyed, but seeing you full with his child always made him ecstatic and he planned on keeping you pregnant for as long as possible. You walked into the living room staring at Clark as he gazed down at the photo album, you smiled. "Don't I look pretty in every picture?"
Clarks head shot up and he smiled at you. He stood up at full height before waking towards you. He towered you, something you adored now. Yet it was something that used to fill you with dread. He leaned down and pressed a sweet kiss to your lips. "You look pretty all the time, picture or not."
You blushed and smiled up at him bashfully. "I could say the same for you honey." He chuckled, "I always thought I was handsome not pretty." You giggled and leaned your head against his chest listening to his heartbeat. "Handsome, pretty, who cares when you're my husband." He wrapped his arms around you. "Damn right baby. Just like you're mine. Completely and utterly mine."

EMBARRASSED; batfam x sis!reader, barry allen x reader
•the justice league walks in on the batsiblings arguing in the batcave and they watch bruce discipline his children while barry allen catches a glance at y/n wayne
•y/n is barry’s age, it goes damian, tim, y/n, jason, dick
Tumblr media
“i didn’t go into your things y/n i promise!” dick yelled as you grabbed one of his escrima sticks, ready to hit your brother with it.
“dick, i always keep my room nice and clean and put together when i’m gone. nothing is out of place. i kept my papers here purposely for that reason, so i wouldn’t lose it!” your heels clicked against the floor as you walked towards dick. you were currently dressed in formal attire and a professional amount of makeup on your face.
minutes ago, you were very excited to be heading over to wayne enterprises in around 35 minutes time; you had a speech today and had prepared for this moment for weeks now. when you had finished getting ready, you walked over to a drawer in your dresser to pull out your pile of papers for the speech but it was gone. you knew alfred wouldn’t have taken your papers and automatically took damian out of the equation, not only was he your blood but he wouldn’t have done it either way, you hope at least. when you headed down to interrogate your brothers all you saw was dick with a smug look on his face, tim getting ready for patrol and damian looking at things on the bat-computer, jason was nowhere to be found so you automatically accused dick.
“look, maybe you left your papers at your actual apartment or maybe someone else took them! why don’t you ask damian or tim or jason?” he pointed fingers at his two younger siblings “damian has no reason to do this at all, jason is god knows where and tim— wait tim what if you took my papers..” you slowed down your sentence.
“i didn’t take your papers! why would i? i know this speech is important and honestly i didn’t even know where you hid them.” tim automatically defended himself. “maybe damian us just trying to be smug or something.”
“don’t go accusing me drake, i had nothing to do with this. i promise.” he turned to y/n for the last part of his sentence.
y/n sighed and turned back to dick “you’re the only one who could’ve done it!”
steps were heard from behind the group and you all slowly turned to see batman, superman, wonder woman, aquaman, cyborg and the flash walking towards you guys. the wayne siblings all looked at their father. “you all should’ve left by now.” bruce spoke, his voice strict but not angry. “what held you all up?”
“dick took my papers for my speech today!” you automatically accused your older brother. you were embarrassed but still upset.
dick tried to take a step toward “i didn’t take your papers y/n!” he spoke, you poined his escrima stick right at him and hit the taser so it would scare him (dick wasn’t too frightened). at this action, aquaman let out a quiet chuckle and wonder woman, superman and cyborg smiled. barry was currently mouth agape as he watched you in a trance.
“careful there barry, that’s bruce’s daughter.” diana smiled at the younger male. he straightened his posture but never took his eyes off you “she’s so pretty” he whispered.
“y/n put the escrima stick down.” bruce told his 25 year old daughter. she of course listened but still put up the middle finger to dick once it was placed on the table. “are you sure you didn’t leave it at your apartment?” bruce asked patiently.
y/n nodded and told bruce exactly where she left her papers the day they were done. bruce nodded and looked at damian and tim “tim go on patrol, damian, excuse us?” his two sons nodded and walked by y/n and dick. tim patted dick’s back as a sign of good luck and damian glanced at his older sister before the two left.
“i’m sorry for interrupting you all.” y/n pursed her lips as she looked behind bruce at the group of heroes. everyone shook their heads and smiled, to be honest they were all finding this slightly amusing. on the other hand, barry’s smile widened and he shook his head “it’s okay.” he said out loud, admiring the shorter girl.
y/n smiled at the boy before her and blushed as she directed her attention back to her dad. “uhm, i’ll reschedule the speech for tomorrow so you have time to find your papers or make up something else.” he compromised. y/n looked down at her feet and slowly nodded, clearly upset. dick bit his lip in sympathy for his sister but knew nothing could be done.
“it was nice seeing you all.” y/n smiled sadly at the justice league “dick and i are going to let you all get to your business though.” y/n looked over at barry “bye flash.” her beautiful smile made barry blush. he waved at y/n as a goodbye.
dick and y/n began to walk past the group when a whistle was heard from above. y/n looked up to see her other older brother, jason fucking todd, with her stapled group of papers in his hand, dangling from the top of the batcave.
y/n’s sad face automagically turned into anger as she looked up through her glasses at the real smug and cleaver look jason had on his face “oh i don’t care if you’re my brother, i’m about to murder you.” you cursed under your breath as you grabbed one of the grappling hooks and pointed it upwards to the wall so you could climb up.
this is when aquaman started snorting from how funny this was, and wonder woman was heard chuckling at the antics of the batsiblings. barry was too laughing at the pretty girl in front of him who seemed to have a not so secret badass side to her.
“i fear that won’t be necessary master y/n.” alfred called. he walked up behind jason. if you were near alfred in that moment, you’d be able to see the faint smile that dawned on his face in this moment. “master bruce, it may be fit to make master jason take his sister to wayne enterprises today as punishment for taking something important from her.
bruce now smiled and nodded “c’mon jason.” jason groaned and hopped down from the top to now be standing next to his sister. y/n took the papers from jason and slapped his head with her hand. “ow.” he winced.
“whyd you take my papers, asshole?” you asked your older brother. jason rolled his eyes “you trashed my apartment a few days ago.” he said like it was obvious.
“oh.” dick snorted from behind you two “that would’ve been me.” both you and jason glared at dick, you a little harder. he put his hands up in defense “i promise you i didn’t know he took your papers.”
you rolled your eyes at your two older brothers “i hate you both” you told them. then you turned to your dad and the justice league “bye dad, bye everyone.” you looked at everyone but kept your eyes on barry a little longer.
“i’m barry by the way.” he blabbed out. bruce turned towards barry with an angry father look. “oh i know.” you winked at him and dragged your two bothers out the batcave by their hands.
“oh my god.” barry whispered. clark swore he could see a little drool dripping out the speedsters mouth. “barry allen.” bruce sternly said, his batman voice was back. harry quickly straightened up and itched his nose nervously, but for the rest of the day he was thinking about y/n wayne.

imagine your ex is dark superman...
“I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
He utters lowly, his warm breath dancing on your cheek as you tremble under his gaze. The coldness and stuffy feeling of the room, effecting your mental.
“you- you're acting crazy.” Swallowing thickly, you hesitantly look up to his darkened eyes, afraid of this unfamiliar man.
As the adjective left your lips its like his eyes lit up in the slightest. Almost in a twisted amusement at the negative connotation. Feeling your legs wobble as you slide down the wall he pushed you against, he follows your movements. Lowering himself down with you as his hands loosely hold onto your biceps.
“why? why this?” You were limited to a few words at a time, the icky feeling you feel under his gaze, stopping you from expressing yourself how you usually would. And he could tell. You're not as talkative as he remembers.
Stooping down, he studies your scarce movements. And all he wants to do is kiss the tears off your cheeks, and take you out your fetal position. Carry you to his bed, caress your goosebump ridden skin gently, so gently you won't believe your eyes when you watch him undress you with such patience. He wants to move his large hands down your thighs and squeeze on the soft skin, gently. Remember?
He wants to show you how gently he can be when he licks your pussy, not like a starved man but as a past lover that desperately wants to rekindle the forcibly blown out flame. He will delicately hold your legs down and make you cum on his tongue until you're shaking for a more pleasurable reason.
He wants to pound the idea of you getting back together into your head, permanently.
But then again that's a want, not a will....
Yet.
You stare at him, wanting an answer. Obviously not noticing how he mentally disassociated by the innocent look in your eye.
"I love you."
He says.
"I love you so much. I gave you time. Three years, to figure yourself out and you still needed a push to come back to me. You need me, baby."
He states firmly, speaking down to you as if you're an under developed and confused teen. Shaking your head, while you eye him in disbelief. You don't know how to respond.
"You love me baby. Say it."
He inches closer to your face. Glancing down to your lips and back up to your wide eyes.
"That's all you have to say and it's all over. We stop this silly little game of chase. Okay?"
He utters these words, which successfully make you feel insane. Looking up to his dreamy blue eyes and defined jaw, a dangerous combination with his deep and husky voice. You feel your thoughts being overtaken by his corrupt words. His warped thinking seeping into your mind and making you his little toy. Even with your kicking and screaming, he'll make you his again. He'll do what he wants.

You curse under your breath as you walk down on the street, clutching tightly on your coat. It's 12 a.m at midnight, you just finished your shift and on your way to your apartment. You reluctantly use this route because it was the closest to your place.
You shiver as you feel the cold air against your skin, even if you are covered in many layers of coat, you can still feel it. Winters can be fun, but also can be annoying at the same time.
You checked your phone as it was buzzing, a message was sent from your roommate. You have been living with him for over a year now, yet both of you barely know each other.
Clark-
i leave some dinner leftovers in the fridge.
You-
Mkay.
You looked around as you felt someone following you from behind. You could feel an unknown presence since you left your workplace, yet you choose to ignore it.
You turn your heels around to see who it is, but only to find nothing. Suddenly, a hand covered your mouth to muffle your scream, your back was pressed against the stranger's chest
“whaa- help!”
You fight the figure, wiggling and squirming in his hold. You know you shouldn't be using this route at all! what the hell have you got yourself into. You kicked the stranger's ankle, but it was a futile attempt.
“stop resisting.” he spoke in a harsh tone, gripping you tightly. The last thing he wanted to do to you was hurting you.
No, you're too precious to him.
Instead, he took out a pad that he dabbed with Chloroform earlier, and slammed it on your nose, letting you breath the toxin.
“noo..ummf..”
Seeing you fall unconscious in his arms, he smirked as he caress the beautiful face of yours while engulfing your small figure in his warm embrace.
finally. Months of watching you from afar, admiring, longing for your touch and warmth he finally got to hold you in his arms. He would not let this opportunity to have you go wasted.
The man looked around the alley, afraid if someone did watch his deed. Once he was convinced that everything was clear, he looked back at her with a wicked grin.
“sleep tight, my bride”
-
You take a sharp breath as you blink, only to find yourself spawled on a soft mattress. You tried to move but failed, too exhausted as you lay back. The bed moved a bit as you heard a groan next to you, a muscled arm makes its way to your waist, bringing you closer to a toned bare chest.
You stayed still, telling yourself that it's just another nightmare. But it's not until you feel a warm breath fanning on your neck before he placed a soft kiss on it before whispering right into your ear.
“what are you trying to do, my dear?”
His voice is deep, whispering at you soothingly as he caresses your waist. He lifted himself and got on top of you, finally got to see his face.
You study his Adonis looks, from his curly hair, trailing down to his handsome face. His icicle blue eyes are the most beautiful things you've ever seen, so beautiful yet so cold.
His jawline is sharp, like you could hurt yourself just from tracing it. He let you stare at him. What a romantic scene it was. Like the beauty of flower petals formed from two colors, becoming one solid entity.
You couldn't help but gawk, how can someone be so fine like this? The thought left your mind immediately as he shifted from his position a bit, leaning closer towards you. He brushes his succulent lips against your cheek, like a predator finally gets to devour its prey.
“wait- who the hell are you? why am i here?” you said, as you sat up on the bed and backed up from him.
“you don't need to know.” he replied, groaning slightly as she made a distance between them. He wanted to hold her in his arms again and never let her go.
He tried to reach out to her again, grabbing her ankle and pulling her towards him with a squeal. Even though she tried to resist him, she seemed to be liking his touch.
A smirk made its way to his face, adding the handsomeness in his features that got her melted.
little did he know...
“argh!” he let out a pained groan at the sudden kick on his crotch. She kicked him hard in the balls that got him shaking slightly from the after effects.
You immediately jumped out of the bed, abandoning the mysterious man that was about to hold you captive and your backpack. That doesn't matter now. Your life matters.
Running down from the apartment, you look around trying to ask for help before the man comes and captures you again. Luckily there's a cab pulling up on the road once they saw you.
“this is madness!”

Heya, wanted to do an ask, as well as your inbox still says you're taking requests. Didn't know if you wanted to change that.
How do you think the justice league boys, (Superman, Batman, Green lantern ( Hal Jordan), the flash, etc.) and John Constantine would react to an alien Reader?
Better explanation: So the reader has patterns or something that changes based on their mood, so how do you think they would react if they were talking to the Reader and Reader's colours changed to love?
Reminds me of Koro Sensei so I'm gonna use his color palette to dignify the readers colors! Also thanks for letting me know abt my inbox LMFAO- Anyways I think
Batman was just ranting to you about his recent expedition with Hal, enjoying how your face would change colors based on your reactions to certain parts of the story. A deep blue with white outlines when you were shocked, green when you were happy and lilac when relieved. It was a simple and straightforward way of knowing how you felt and he liked about you. He had all your colors and their meanings memorized not only in his mind but in his database too. So it was quite the shock when you'd started to turn a light pink, the areas of your cheeks being a bit darker. You looked lovesick with a lopsided smile on your face and he stopped talking as it all really hit him. At the sudden silence your face went gray and neutral signifying your confusion. He chuckled and decided not to tell you the real reason why he stopped. But now that he's aware of your little crush he may act on his own.
Superman would also probably have most of your colors memorized though he still doesn't know what all of them mean. So when you turn a light shade of pink while you both were talking he was confused because it wasn't a color he could relate to anything. When he asked your pink color turned into a salmon color as you got embarrassed, that one he knew. He had to ask Batman what you turning pink meant in the end because he wanted to know just in case it happens again. When he figures out the emotion behind it he's very flattered and likes to see how easily he can make you turn pink.
Hal would be similar to Superman in the sense that he would only know what some of your colors meant. He's never asked he's just picked up on a few from just being around you. He likes to have knowledge on things though, so whenever a color comes up that he doesn't know he wouldn't mind asking you about it. You usually have no problem explaining to him what you're feeling but right now when he caught you turning bright pink when talking to him you seemed to shut down. Your pink turned salmon which luckily he knew so he asked why you were embarrassed which only deepened your color. He wasn't able to get an explanation out of you that day but after observing your behavior (and color) around him while comparing it to others he was able to easily catch on.
Barry would make an effort to know all of your colors. He struggles! But he's trying and that's the important thing. When having a conversation with you he usually tries to take it slow so that he can fully develop an understanding of what all your colors mean, he's honestly very fascinated. He tries to make guesses on what the colors he doesn't know mean based on context clues. So when you suddenly turn pink his brain is immediately in analyzing mode! It takes a couple of interactions with you for him to figure out exactly what it means, it's only a hunch but it's enough to give him the confidence to ask you out!
John has a mental library of what all your colors mean. Even colors you think he doesn't know he knows ok? So when you turn pink and he doesn't immediately know what it means he starts using the process of elimination to figure it out. After maybe two interaction with you turning pink around him and he's clocked the emotion behind it. Similarly to Superman he likes to tease you and see just how pink he can make you. His goal is to make you turn hot pink, he thinks it's cute.

ANOTHER MULTIVERSE FIC because I can't stop myself, apparently. An injustice!Superman one, this time. I imagine you were a small-time hero/vigilante in this one, so Superman knew (and liked) you before he turned bad, but you weren't super close, before.
-You wake up in an unfamiliar room, tied to a chair, not knowing how you got there. Kal doesn't ever let you leave the fortress. But you don't know how anyone else could have gotten in to take you here, wherever here is. Maybe it was Kal? But why would he do that?
-You spot a woman tied up in another chair next to you, it seems like she also just woke up. She reminds you of someone, but you can't remember who exactly... You want to ask her if she knows more about what's going on, when you realize you're both gagged. Shit. You can't even communicate with her!
-A man comes in, rambling something about how he's glad you're finally awake and about his plan finally taking shape. You feel like you should know this guy, but can't quite put a finger on it...
-Being unsure if you know who he is, as you're "not from here", he introduces himself. He's Lex Luthor.
-Wait. Lex Luthor? The Lex Luthor? The dead one, who was killed by Superman? Is this a prank? Because if so, it isn't funny at all. And quite dangerous for everyone involved.
-Luthor (if that is his real name) then focuses on the woman next to you. He addresses her as "Mrs. Lane".
-Lane as in Lois Lane? Like, Lois Lane from the Daily Planet? Clark Kent's, Superman's wife? Now you know something is extremely wrong. She's dead, too, and everyone knows not to mention her name unless they want to face Superman's wrath... You make a few muffled sounds beneath your gag, itching to ask about just what is going on here.
-Luthor says he's going to explain everything, don't be so impatient! He has a machine that can open portals to parallel universes, which is how he got you here. His plan includes kidnapping the person that is most important to Superman in his own universe (Lois Lane), the person most important to Superman in a second universe (You!) and then making the Supermen fight each other by threatening your lives. The only way to save you is if one Superman dies. This room is Superman proof, he can't hear or see anything that's happening in here, so they can't just swoop in and save you. After the fight, he's going to let the winning Superman enter this room, promising him that he can rescue Lois or you. Except not really, because he's going to try to kill the winner too, because that should be easier after he just fought another Superman, right? He hasn't opened a portal to let the Superman from your universe know about how he can save you, yet. He closed the portal he got you through immediately after kidnapping you, so he had more time to prepare everything. How he found you? Something about being able to detect kryptonian dna residue on you. And you were in Superman's fortress. Easy to combine that you must be important to him.
-That's... actually not a terrible plan! Sure, it might not work out exactly the way that Luthor is planning, but beating Superman with Superman is a great idea! Actually it'd be great if Luthor got a third one here. Two Supermen should definitely be able to defeat one Superman, right? Unfortunately you can't communicate any of this through your gag. Damn, you'd love to help him improve his plan...
-You wonder if he chose your universe completely randomly, or if he chose an evil Superman on purpose. You don't think he did, he didn't mention the regime with one word, and if it existed in this universe he wouldn't be working on this stupid plan. And Lois wouldn't be alive, probably.
-Before you can let your thoughts spiral even more, Luthor falls over. Huh? Is he unconscious? You spot Batman coming towards you. Ah. That explains that, then. Man, you haven't seen Batman in such a long time...
-"Are you two alright?" He quickly cuts through the ropes tying you to the chairs, freeing you. "Good thing you used your bat emergency-signal, Lois. I was able to get to you before Superman could fall for Luthor's trap." Wait, why would Lois contact Batman? Oh, right, sometimes you forget that he and Superman used to be friends, so obviously his wife would trust him too.
-He takes off both of your gags and then turns to you. "We figured out you're from a parallel universe, but don't worry, Nightwing is currently working on a way to get in contact with the Superman from your dimension, so-"
-"NO!", you scream, making Batman look at you in confusion. You quickly tell him to contact Nightwing, to make him stop trying to open a portal or god forbid, contact Kal!! Noticing the urgency in your voice, Batman quickly complies and lets Nightwing know to stop what he's doing, before asking you to elaborate. Phew! The last thing you need is an angry Superman wreaking havoc in a second universe.
-You start explaining to Batman about how your Superman started changing for the worse after Lois died (sparing the details, as she's kind of sitting right next to you), started to get darker, kill villains, everyone who did something bad, people who disagreed with him. Other heroes, even. People he used to be friends with. How everyone who didn't agree with him and join his regime, including you and Batman, had to go into hiding, trying to find a way to stop him. Clark, no KAL-EL found you at some point, but instead of killing you, he unexpectedly took you, basically imprisoned you. Kept you like a pet who's not smart enough to make their own decisions. (You never even knew he liked you like that at all, before that. Sure, he was always nice to you, but he had Lois!)
-Lois seems visibly shocked, whereas Batman just listens to you stoically. "All this to say, it's good to see you alive, Lois!" You smile weakly. She tries to smile back, but before she can respond, Batman cuts her off. "We should leave this place. I doubt it's very safe here. We should return to the Batcave, think of a plan." You spare one last glance at Luthor, who's still lying on the floor (Are we just going to leave him here? Huh. Ok.), then follow Batman outside.
-As soon as you're out of the building, something rushes past you. "Lois! Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" Not something. Someone. You try not to flinch as he fusses over her, while she reassures him that she's fine multiple times.
-After he's convinced she's not hurt, he turns to you with a gentle smile. "Hello! So you're close to the Superman in another dimension, then?" As he takes a step towards you, you instinctively take a step back towards Batman. Clark frowns at him quizzically. It's funny, he almost looks like a confused puppy. You would smile if you didn't know that this is all a facade to distract from his god-like, destructive powers.
-"Turns out the other version of you is some kind of evil dictator." Well, leave it to Batman to get straight to the point. Clark opens and closes his mouth a few times, thinking about what to say. "Well, I can assure you that I'm not like the Superman you know. I promise you, I'm a good person! At least I try my best to be one. You don't have to be scared." His voice is getting increasingly gentle, trying to reassure you.
-"Oh yeah? That's exactly what the Superman from my dimension would have said, before..." You don't mention his wife's death, not wanting to anger him. "The same thing could happen to you. You might be nice now, but who knows what the future holds?" As you're saying this, you slowly move slightly behind Batman. Just in case. He should have some kryptonite on him, right?
-Superman just frowns harder, then turns to Lois. "We should go home." He picks her up and turns to Batman. "Contact me as soon as you have plans for... handling the other me." With that, he takes off.
-Batman ushers you into the Batmobile, where Nightwing (another ghost, to you) is already waiting. You keep turning to look at him during the drive to the Batcave, while Bruce explains the situation to him. If they notice your weird looks, they don't mention it.
-You allow yourself to feel some hope. Maybe you can contact your Bruce? Help him out! Send a few still good Supermen! Your head is spinning with ideas, and you're sure Batman can come up with even better ones. You can't help but smile, your nightmare might finally be over...

The Scream Heard Around the World
Tumblr media
Warnings: Language and Violence
“There’s a story that Superman has another weakness besides Kryptonite. It’s not a form of element or another dimensional being, it’s a woman. A human one. It’s said that once Superman’s lover died, he went mad. Killed everything and everyone but there was one whom he didn’t harm. He kept her. Some say that he keeps her locked up somewhere that no one else is able to go. Keeps her chained up in a pretty white dress.”
“Bullshit!” One person exclaimed.
“You think so? Well, then why do you think the Man of Steel doesn’t go hunting 24/7, only in the daytime?”
Everyone was tense because even though this was indeed just a story being told, this was their reality. Under the rule of Superman. He controlled everything because of the power he possessed. There was no one to challenge him or his rule. The people lived in fear waiting to see what mood he would wake up in today.
“That can be anything though.”
“I doubt he stopped killing because of good pussy.”
“He can still change. He was good before he can be that again.”
“What about that god-awful scream?” Everyone went silent at that. All of them exchanged wary looks.
“I suspect that he got that woman pregnant and she had his baby and when it was born it screamed so loud that it killed everyone that could hear it. We all heard about those people who just suddenly died. All with the same symptoms. Ears and eyes dripping with blood. Their bodies still shaking because the brain doesn’t know that they’re dead yet. The scream heard around the world.”
That was what those who survived called it. That awful scream that killed half the world.
Everyone who believed the story speculated what happened but no one truly knew. They assumed the woman died giving birth because what human could possibly sustain carrying Superman’s spawn? Or even endure the screaming of the newborn? Maybe both mother and child died? There was only ever one scream and it invoked fear in everyone if another was ever heard.
“There were no repercussions for us,” another spoke. “If he lost either one or both he would have been plagued with grief and anger but it’s been quiet since then. No visits, sightings, or killings. What if they’re both alive, somehow?”
“I guess we’ll never quite know? But God Bless those who ever encounter Superman and the spawn he’ll raise.”

Part 1
The First Date
Your feet were constantly sore nowadays but you honestly couldn’t bring yourself to care. Working for the Daily Planet, even if you were just an intern, was a dream come true. 5 days a week for 8 hours everyday, you wore heels and ran around the office floor, delivering coffees, making copies, delivering assignments, and on special occasions, helping to edit articles for the paper.
Sometimes, when everyone was busy and you had no other work to do, you would sneak off to the break room in the back of the office, the one that was barely used, and take off the three inch high monstrosities that gave you leg cramps for days. That’s how you met him.
You sighed in relief as you slipped your stocking covered feet from the black cone heels you bought on sale years ago that you had sitting in the back of your closet. You definitely regretted not breaking them in. The cool tile felt amazing on your sore feet, and you leaned back in the slightly unstable metal chair. Fishing your big thermos from your bag, you poured yourself a small cup of tea into the little mug from the jar.
“Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realise anyone was in here.” The deep baritone with a slight southern twang shaking you from your thoughts. The man stood in the doorway, his body so huge that he nearly filled out the wide entryway. His dark hair was unruly, he had obviously been running his fingers through it, his shockingly blue eyes bright behind the thick frames of his glasses. He had on a simple white button with black slacks and a brown tie. “Oh Mr Kent! Sorry, I just- never mind, is there something I can help you with?”
He waved you off, a slight blush spreading across his cheeks. “Please just call me Clark. I was just hoping to escape my ex for a minute but it seems you’ve found my hiding place.” He gave you a cheeky wink which made you squirm in your seat. “Well there isn’t a monopoly on hiding places, so you could join me. But only if you want! You don’t have to.”
The chair legs scrapped the floor as he pulled it out from under the table, taking a seat directly across from you. Even sitting down, Clark was taller than you, his intimidating frame offset by his kind smile. You couldn’t help but let your eyes flick down to his chest where the buttons of his white button-down were straining to contain his muscles. Clearing your throat, you looked away bashfully. “You’re Y/N right?” That caught you off guard. “Um yeah. How did you know?”
He huffed but the smile on his face widened. “Of course I would know the person that has been helping to edit my articles. I have no clue how you make me sound so smart. You must have some kind of magic.” Your cheeks heated and you couldn’t bring yourself to look into those cerulean eyes. “I wouldn’t say that, you’re really intelligent already, just maybe sometimes, your grammar isn’t amazing.”
The reporter threw his head back and gave a deep belly laugh, you smiled shyly, crossing your feet over each other as your hands played with the hem of your black work skirt. “Any other critics I should know about?” He teased, eyes sparkling with mischief. You just shrugged. “Maybe invest in some spelling lessons too.” After another round of chuckles, he settled back into his chair.
You easily settled into a light conversation with the man, surprised by how similar you were. You found yourself relaxing the more you talked, suddenly the huge powerhouse reporter was just a nervous (and slightly cheeky) farm boy that wanted to know everything about you, and by god was it flattering.
There was a brief lull in conversation when you stopped to pour yourself some more tea, which Clark had politely declined when you asked him, and his eyes flicked down to the floor, a cheeky smirk coming over his beautiful face.
“I guess you don’t appreciate the office dress code.” He chuckled, gesturing down to your abandoned shoes. “Ha ha yeah, I’ve never worn heels before so it’s tough getting used to them. But honestly, I’d take this pain any day cause it means I get to work here!” “Oh well I don’t know if you should be sacrificing your health for any job but it’s good to know you’re so dedicated.” A shiver rolled down your spine at his concerned tone. “It’s worth it if I get to meet my heroes!”
Clark leaned forward, propping his head up with his elbow on the table, his massive hand cradling his chilled jaw. “Lemme guess, Perry?” “I’ll say yes to that because I don’t want your head to get any bigger than it already is.” You giggled behind your cup but quickly stopped as the aforementioned man entered the room behind Clark.
“Ms Y/L/N, there you are, I have some assignments I need you to deliver and then you can head home for the day.” You scrambled to clean up your little nook, slipping your heels back on your still sore feet, trying to hide your wince as the pain started again. “Yes of course. I’ll get that done now.” The older man nodded his thanks, handing you a big stack of manilla folders. “Clark, we’ve got a meeting in 15 minutes, don’t forget.”
“I’ll be there. Hey um Y/N could you hang back a second?” His voice suddenly went from confident to nervous boy as he hunched his shoulders to make himself look smaller. Perry gave him a puzzled look before sighing and leaving the room, muttering something about office romances. You turned your body to him, listening intently. “Yeah, um what did you need me for?”
Avoiding eye-contact, Clark rubbed the back of his neck. “I was just wondering if you would like to maybe have dinner with me tonight? There’s this great ramen place only a few blocks from here.” Did the most gorgeous man you had ever met ask you out on a date? Yes he did. And were you just standing there, mouth open in shock like an idiot. Also yes.
“N-nevermind, it was stupid-“ “Yes.” You stopped his rant before it really started. “I would love to go to dinner with you, Clark.” The smile he gave you was absolutely dazzling as he sprung to his feet, vibrating with excitement. “Great! I mean um, that’s good. I should probably get your number so I can let you know where to meet.” You fished a pen and post-it note from your purse, quickly jotting down your cell-phone number with a little heart at the end.
You handed him the note. “I guess I’ll see you tonight Clark.” Your fingers brushing his slightly, he was so warm. You thought you handled that well, stayed cool even if you were screaming and jumping for joy on the inside. As soon as you rounded the corner to where he couldn’t see you, you squealed and did a little happy dance, heart beating wildly in your chest.
You just scored a date with the cutest guy ever! This was so worth the sore feet. You darted through the office, quickly delivering the folders so you could get home and spend the next few hours going through your entire closet in deciding what to wear but definitely no heels.
——————
Clark smirked down at the pink post-it note you handed to him. Of course, he already knew your number, he knew everything about you. He had been infatuated with you since he saw you two months ago when Perry first hired you.
You were so young, incredibly beautiful and naïve. Clark likes that about you, how flustered you get when he smiles at you, the way you squeak in embarrassment when someone makes a dirty joke in front of you. He can only imagine the sounds you make when he claims you.
Fuck, it was so hard coming into work every day just to see your plump body running around everywhere, paying attention to everybody but him. The way your arms and legs jiggled as you moved, your tits bouncing wildly with every step. How your lips separated slightly when you were lost in your own thoughts. He once even caught a glimpse of your little white panties beneath your stockings when your skirt rose up as you bent over to pick something up.
He had practically sprinted to the bathroom to relieve his aching cock. He spilled onto his hand crying your name, nearly crushing the wall to the stall in his firm grip. It was a waste of his cum but he just couldn’t stop himself.
And now, you were practically his. Just a few dates, just a little touching, a bit of hand-holding, some innocent kisses to the cheek, and hugs here and there, and you would fall into his arms, forever.
——————
The restaurant was quaint. Only a few tables that faced the open window kitchen where the divine smells wafted into the rest of the small space. You nervously stepped over the threshold, the hem of your baby blue summer dress swaying around your plump thighs. You paired the spaghetti strap dress with a light wash jean jacket and white converse with little flowers you had embroidered into them.
You were the picture of innocence, standing there fiddling with your fingers, wide eyes scanning the room, a little purse hanging off your shoulder. The only jewelry you had was a little pendant necklace that sat right on your exposed collarbone, enticing Clark’s eyes down to the fat of your breasts which was covered entirely by your dress, showing not even a little hint of cleavage.
Clark waved at you, drawing your attention to the huge man who had somehow fit himself onto one of the small wooden chairs near the back. He preened as your smile grew when you spotted him and you hurried over. The reporter pulled your chair out for you, head dipping down so he could get a whiff of your hair, he really couldn’t help himself. Your natural smell was overpowered by the cheap flowery perfume you had put on.
He’d put a stop to that soon enough, but for now he settled with the faint scent of your honeyed musk that clung to the back of your neck. “I’m glad you picked here, this spot is really cute.” You gushed, picking up the small menu as he sat back down across from you, the dark red of his henley, he had obviously changed before coming here, made his eyes pop even more. “I thought it was a good spot for a first date. The tables are small so I can do this.” He laid his large hand over your smaller one, giving it a little squeeze.
You squeaked but allowed Clark to rest your hands on the table, his palm engulfing yours as he placed his thick fingers on your wrist. “So, what are you thinking of getting?”
You both were smiling like idiots as your orders arrived, too caught up in each other to notice the huge bowls of soup until they were placed directly before you. You tried to pull your hand away, flustered at being caught being so affectionate in a public place. “Can I have my hand back?” Your voice was unexpectedly shaky. But Clark held strong, lifting your knuckles to his plump lips, laying a small kiss to your skin.
“Now you can.” Letting go of your now shaking hand, he winked at you, making your heart leap. “Clark.” You practically whimpered, holding your hand to your chest as if savouring the small kiss he had given you.
“What, it’s not like you’ve never had someone give you a kiss before~” He teased, picking up his chopsticks. “You have kissed someone before right?” He asked after a beat of silence. You shook your head. “This is my first ever date.” You whispered, ashamed of your inexperience compared to the older man. Clark’s blue eyes widened in shock, of course he already knew, Bruce did a real deep dive for him, but you didn’t ever need to know about that.
“Seriously? How? You’re gorgeous!” “Well you’d be the only one to think that then. I was bullied a lot as a kid and I guess people don’t really like the fat girl.” You shrugged, folding in on yourself, suddenly aware of how much food you had ordered. “Oh no no no. Please don’t doubt yourself. You are a beautiful young woman and those people must be fools for not seeing how truly amazing and beautiful you are. But their loss is my gain cause right now, I have the most divine woman in the world sitting across from me, letting me take her on a date.”
Clark was so big that he easily reached across the table and cupped your face, wiping away a stray tear from your cheek with his thumb. You tried to look away but those big glimmering eyes were hypnotising and you couldn’t help but believe what he was saying. “Ok.” You were quiet but that was enough for him. “Good. Now that we’ve got that sorted, I am starving.”
——————
“I had such a wonderful time tonight.” Clark’s right arm was wrapped tightly around your thick waist, his hand resting on your plump stomach. You had, at first, shied away when he wrapped you in a hug after your meal. His face fell into a little frown and he held you closer, bending down to rest his forehead against yours, the little black curls brushing your skin.
“Please don’t run from me.” His voice was so quiet you barely heard him. The pure sadness in his tone made you slump back into his arms, your own winding around his muscular torso to keep him close. “Never.” And his smile returned.
Like a real gentleman, he offered to walk you home, especially considering it was now completely dark out and you didn’t live in a great part of town. He let you ramble on about your day, giving little anecdotes here and there but otherwise remaining quiet. As you reached your door, he drew you back into his huge arms, the heat from his body soaking into you, the smell of his cologne making your knees weak as it enveloped you. “Thank you for letting me take you out kitten.” Your face went hot at the pet name.
“Too much?” You shook your head, thoroughly flustered. “I like it.” “Good. Goodnight kitten.” You panicked as he lowered his face to your eyes level. Oh god, was he going to kiss you? Your body unconsciously jerked back, your door handle digging painfully into your side. Your hands flew up and pressed against his chest, trying to push Clark away. “No.” You whimpered.
He pulled back and you sighed in relief, he obviously got the message. “Did you think I was going to kiss you?” You didn’t bother answering, just turned your head away, fully prepared for him to tell you off and insist you had to give him something in return for paying for your meal. “Oh kitten. I’m sorry. I was just going to kiss your cheek. We’ll go at your pace, no kissing until you’re ready.” A large weight was lifted from your chest.
Clark was good, he would listen to you. He was a good man. You could trust him.
With a quick peck to your still heated cheek, he sent you inside, remaining just long enough for you to lock up. Pulling off your jacket, you went to hang it up, but paused. The woodsy cologne Clark had been wearing had rubbed off onto the course fabric. Taking a deep inhale, you savoured the comforting scent. Maybe next time, you shouldn’t bring a jacket and he’d give you his.
You kicked off your shoes and practically floated into your living room, sinking into your overstuffed couch. “God he’s so dreamy.” You fanned your hot cheeks, completely overwhelmed by the day.
When you closed your eyes, all you could see was his smiling face and the way he bent down so his face was level with yours. How his surprisingly plump lips had opened slightly, how his breathing became heavier. Maybe, just maybe, you should’ve kissed him. You couldn’t imagine how wonderful it would have been.
Knock knock
“Did you forget something?” You giggled, pulling the door back open, fully expecting the muscular body of your date to be standing there, looking sheepish, maybe looking for an excuse to see you one more time. But instead, a frazzled-looking red haired woman who immediately pushed into your apartment as soon as you opened the door. “Ms Lane?”
The renowned reporter, and the ex-fiancée of the man you just went on a date with, was now in your flat, shutting all the windows in the studio apartment and making sure that the curtains and shutters were drawn. “Are you ok? Do you need me to call someone for you?” You slipped your phone out of your jacket pocket, tucking it into your palm and held it behind your back.
You didn’t know much about her, only that she and Clark were engaged for a while and then she just skipped town a couple weeks before you joined the Daily Planet. No one had heard from her until she unexpectedly turned up at the office this morning, collecting her final pay-check and having a shouting match with Perry about seeing Clark for five minutes, which he stoutly denied.
“You have to listen to me.” You tried to scramble away as she came closer but her hands shot out and held you in place, her fingers digging into your shoulders, her unkempt nails digging painfully into your collarbone.
“Just fucking listen!” You nodded but your thumb was now frantically pushing on the power button to your phone, hoping that even with the spotty cell-reception in your home, you could utilise the safety feature and get through to the police. “I-I’m listening.” She seemed to calm down for a moment, then the siren-like alarm went off on your phone, signalling that you were trying to call 9-1-1.
In a split second, her grip lessened and you ripped away from her, turning and sprinting to the door. She launched at you. Your body collided painfully with the hardwood floor, the breath being knocked from your lungs but you kept trying to get away. “Get off me!” Your nails clawed at the floor. Her hand wrapped around the back of your head and slammed your face into the ground, effectively stunning you.
“Stop fighting!” Lois straddled your back and pinned your arms down, pulling the phone from your grasp, cancelling the call. “I’m just trying to help you!” Your eyes were rolling in your head, a throbbing pain building in the base of your skull as blood poured from your nose and a high pitched whine ringing in your ears as you were forced completely flat on the wooden slats. “Stay away from him. He’s not good! Stay away!” A coldness was spreading through your body as she kept you down, having shifted so her knee was digging into your spine.
“S-stop.” You wheezed but couldn’t get any air into your lungs. “I’m protecting you. He’s crazy. I’m just protecting you.” Just as the dark spots in your vision were starting to get bigger as you struggled for air, Lois’s weight was gone from your back, the dulled sound of shattering glass lost in the background of your thoughts. The ground below you shook and there was muffled yelling, the ringing in your ears getting more intense. You rolled over and attempted to pull yourself up, then a wave of nausea suddenly hit you. You doubled over, your vision swimming.
A cold breeze blew over you and dull thuds resonated through your throbbing head. A pair of hands wrapped around your biceps and tried to pull you forward. “Stop please!” You screamed, legs kicking out, landing a solid hit to the figure in front of you. They didn’t even grunt as they pulled you closer, forcing your body into the plastic-like material that covered their chest.
Your nails dug into the chest of your attacker in an attempt to fight them off, but their grip only got tighter, sending a fresh wave of panic through you. “She’s in shock, I’ll have to administer a sedative.” The raspy voice broke through the fog in your mind as huge arms forced you closer, wrapping around your back, pinning you.
“Don’t you dare!” Another voice called out. You cried as your head was yanked to the side and the tell-tale pinch of a needle was pressed into your neck. A warm sensation flooded your body, immediately placating you, the tingling sensation relaxing your limbs so you slumped forward. The arms holding you didn’t feel like they were caging you in, now it was your only anchor as your eyelids became heavy, darkness quickly overtaking you.

Tuesday sees a new block in your calendar. The three hour meeting stands out in the internal calendar as its highlighted bright yellow. You don’t know where it’s come from. You’re nervous.
Have you done something wrong? Is this a firing? Does that really take three hours?
You try not to let your innate insecurity get the best of you. You click on it but the new window offers little more than the time. All participants are hidden and there’s no description aside from ‘meeting’. The only other information is the conference room number. Right, so you’re going to implode in the hour leading up to it.
You try to focus but the Excel lines are much tighter than usual. They seem to blur together as you file through a thousand different possibilities and none of them are good. What do you do if you are in trouble? If you do lose your job? You have nothing to fall back on.
You get up ten minutes from the start of the meeting. The building is still new to you and you have to check the placards on the wall to make sure you’re at the right conference room. The door is already open and you slow down as you see Tony strut through ahead of you. This definitely seems off. He’s one of the top execs…
What if it’s a mistake? What if you were added by accident? Maybe you misunderstood it. Maybe it was a notice to stay away. Oh, you’re so confused.
You enter the room and hug your notebook to your chest. The table against the far wall is arranged with trays of catering; pastries, fruits, veggies, quiche, all sorts of delights. Alongside the treats are coffee and tea and a frosty jug of water.
Tony helps himself to a cup of coffee and several tarts. Several other seats are already filled. You vaguely recognise them, not all by name, but you know they’re from various departments. You sit at the table and lay your notebook down, nervously gripping the spiral as you flick your thumb against the tip of the pen slid within.
No one else seems to notice you. They all know each other and chatter among themselves. Five including you. Not very many at all. You wait, wondering who called the meeting as no one seems in a hurry to begin.
The door clicks but you’re the only one who hears it as they rest or deep in conversation. You peek over as Thor strides to the head of the table, stopping behind the high-backed chair.
“I hope you all helped yourselves to the wonderful treats,” he smiles, “don’t mind me as I grab a few before we begin.”
He carries on to the trays and you look down at your notebook. You open it to the first blank page and slide your pen free of the coil. You wiggle it between your fingers as you wait. Surely, it can’t be disciplinary. There’s food and Tony is one of the top guys.
Thor returns, a healthy mound of sweets and fruits on his plate and a steaming cup in the other. He sits and pushes his shoulders wide, sighing as he peers up and down the table. You shrink down as you sit at the opposite end.
“Well, we are all here,” he declares, drawing the silence of the rest. They all turn their attention on him. “I think some of you already know why I’ve brought you here but we have lots of time to get filled in. We’ll be taking breaks of course but we won’t waste time, yes?”
“Yes, sir,” your voices reply out of turn.
“We will be working on a very special project. It’s big news that we’ve acquired Onyx Row and it’s all well and good to put a pretty bow on it and send out a release, but we have to handle all that background noise. We have to figure out how that works,” he explains.
You’re almost hypnotised by his voice and the way he moves his hands as he speaks. He’s so confident and carefree. You envy him as much as you admire him.
“You have all been handpicked to take this on,” he pauses to look at each and every one of you. “We need a strong team. We’ll have new clients to take it and to retain, we’ll have new profits but new expenses as well, and we have a lot to learn about OR. We all know things are not always transparent in acquisitions.”
There’s a murmur of agreement as you stay silent. You’re still not sure you’re supposed to be here. You don’t have very much experience, just a certificate you got at the end of your degree. You chew your lip as you stare down the table, suddenly caught in the sights of another.
Thor’s blue eyes meet yours and his cheek dimples. You blanch and make yourself sit straight. You uncap your pen and quickly scribble in your notebook; Onyx Row.
“Today’s strategy planning,” Thor says, “we’ll toss some ideas around until the first break, then after that, we’ll come up with a ladder.” He stacks his hands over and over as he talks, “figure out how we climb it. Step by step.”
There’s typing on keyboards. You regret not unhooking your laptop but your notebook’s just as good for notes. Tony leans backs as he chews a quiche, crumbs dusting down his jacket.
“Stark, why don’t you write something down, eh? You’re not here for a free meal.”
“That’s what you think,” Tony scoffs playfully but lets his chair snap straight and taps on his touch pad to wake up the laptop.
“Right then,” Thor stands, “I’ve a brief presentation to get us started before we start brainstorming.”
Your stomach swims. The displacement remains but at least you’re supposed to be there. Even if you’re not sure you’re the right choice. Everyone else in the room is a veteran and you’re just you. That’ll have to do.
Or maybe you’ll just show yourself to be a total noob.
🏙️
At the midpoint of the meeting, several new trays are added to the spread. It’s a lot for six people. You finally get up to grab a tea, steeping a bag of green in hot water, then take a small triangle of a tuna sandwich and a few pieces of fruit back to your seat. Despite the ice breakers round, you’re still shut out of the clique-like conversation of the others.
You don’t mind so much. Talk for business, nothing else. This is work. Besides, you’re so anxious you don’t know what you would say. You chalk it up as much to your own inaction as to their blatant exclusion.
The empty chair to your other side rolls back, frightening you as Thor sets down another plate of goodies and sits. You gulp and look at him as you quit your nibbling of the sandwich crust. You clear your throat and wipe your fingers on a napkin.
“Sir,” you greet with a cringing smile, “hi, er.”
“Thor will do,” he assures coolly, “are you enjoying the food?”
“Um, yeah,” you answer, trying to brighten up out of your cocoon, “it’s good.”
“Feel free to have more. There’s plenty to go around.”
“Thank you, that’s… I’m good,” you press your thumb to your index and bend and unbend your knuckle nervously.
“Tea?” He muses as he reaches to flick the small tap dangling from your cup.
“Mhm,” you nod awkwardly, “coffee burns my tum–stomach.”
He smiles broadly, “ah, mine too, but I’m stubborn.” He leans his elbow on the table, his chair turned to face you entirely, “are you nervous?”
Your eyes give you away as they widen at his blunt question. You dip your chin again, “a little. I… you know I only just started, right?”
“Yes, but you have your qualifications,” he insists.
“Yeah, uh, but…” you glance around at the others.
“But, I have faith in you. As I said, I picked every person in this room. You included. I know that new minds are as valuable as more experienced ones.”
“Well, er, thank you for taking a chance on me,” you bit your cheek and force a smile.
“You know, if no one had ever taken a chance on me, I might not be sat here with you right now,” he leans in just slightly, “everyone deserves their chance to prove themselves. I have faith in you, and what about you?”
“What about me?” Your cheeks wobble.
“Do you have faith in me?” He rests his chin in his hand, watching you intently.
“Y-yes, sir, uh, Thor,” you crackle out, “thanks, I…”
“Good,” he praises and sits up, “I’ll let you finish your food, if you don’t mind that I stay and do the same.”
He swivels the chair and picks up a cracker from his plate. You hum in acquiescence, barely able to muster words. The only permission he needs is your nervous reach for your tea. As if you would tell him to go. He’s the boss.
🏙️
You’re finally let free but you don’t feel as much. You have so much more to do now. You carry with you the folder handed out to each member of the room with an exhaustive overview of your session and the Onyx Road contract.
You sit at your desk and take a moment to situate yourself. This is your priority. Everything else is second tier. That’s as much as Thor said but what are you going to do about Dawn breathing down your neck?
You fix the loose button on your cardigan that comes undone now and again, right at the worst spot; the middle. You pull the bottom straight and clear your throat, signing into your computer as you rejig back to work mode.
As you shuffle through the emails you received in your absence, a figure approaches. You delete a redundant communication before you face them. You expect Dawn but instead, an all too familiar face looks down at you. Sitting, Thor seems to tower over you even more than usual. You feel like you should stand as he bends his neck to talk to you.
“I did forget to mention some things early. As you can expect, some details slip through the cracks in such a big project,” he spreads his hand on the corner of your desk.
“Oh, okay,” you grip the arms of your chair as you peer up at him.
“IT will be around to help connect to the shared drives required for the project,” Thor explains as he leans on one foot, hooking the other over it. “You will be dealing with some very important documents. Confidential so you will also need to relocate…” he looks around briefly, “you will be moved to a private office.”
“Uh, wow, that’s… okay,” you nod with a flutter of lashes.
“It’s a lot, I know, but you will be compensated. At special projects rate, no less,” he intones as he drags his hand up his suit jacket and curls his fingers around his lapel. His fingers are so thick. All of him is. And big. You’re getting vertigo just looking up at him. “You be in your new home by the end of the day.”
“Today?” You ask, almost breathless.
“Yes, we move fast around here,” he grins, “but I also wished to tell you that should you require any support, you will come to me. Your supervisor has been informed of your reassignment and your daily duties will be handed out to your colleagues for the duration of this project.”
“Uh huh,” you croak out, “that makes sense.”
“You understand, this is a big assignment. It could require late nights and… business trips.”
“Yes,” you lie. You really hadn’t considered that. In the contract you signed, it was for a desk, there was no travel, no overtime.
“Another matter for us to deal with. Travel pay, extra hours…” he drones as if bored.
“I understand,” you murmur.
He drops his hand to frame his hip, pushing back his jacket as he stays leaned against your desk. His eyes stick to you as they storm in mystery, “I like that sweater. It’s cute.”
You look down at the flower embroidery and your cheeks singe. Compared to him and the other execs, you were a touch underdressed. That’ll probably need to change too.
“Uh, yeah, I…” you fix the loose button again, “sorry, I’ll… I’ll buy a blazer.”
“I mean it,” he drags his hand from the desk and stands straight, “don’t buy the blazer, that suits you better.”
You crane your neck to look up at him again, “thanks, sir,” you fold your hands in your lap, “I… like your tie.”
You immediately want to disappear as the words trickle out. You sound so stupid. He touches his blue grey tie patterned with white paisley and examines it.
“Not one of my favourites, but thank you,” he chuckles. “Right,” he snaps his fingers, “much work to do. For both of us.” He shifts back on his sole, “don’t forget what I said, if you need anything, I’m your man.”
He winks and spins on his heel. You watch him go as tension raises your shoulders. That was awkward and painful. You’re already doubting your place in this whole thing. Before you can turn your chair back to your desk, you don’t miss the errant gazes in your direction. You ignore them as best you can but they sear into your back. You have witnesses to your humiliation, great.

The early morning breeze drifted through the room and tickled at the naked limbs of the sleeping little star. She woke with a shiver and hazily searched the bed for his warmth. She only found more cold spots to which she huffed and sat up. Even her trusted pal Twinkle was gone from her arms. She rubbed her eyes as she carefully slipped from the bed. The girl hoped that her stuffed pup was accidentally kicked from the bed, but he was nowhere to be found. She shivered before wrapping one of the many tangled blankets around her form. The ends dragged behind her like his cape and she made her way out of the room in need of the two things she could not live without.
It wasn’t like him to not sense when she had woken up she pondered as she traipsed down the hallway. Normally, her Daddy would have been right by her side as she woke up. He’d give her kisses, cuddles, and all the princess carries she could wish for in exchange for getting started with their day. Little Star peered over the banister and saw the living room below empty. She became more puzzled because that’s the one spot where she knew she could always find him.
The girl knew he was the biggest, toughest superhero around and sometimes that meant he had to save people. She could normally handle it because Twinkle would be by her side, but he wasn’t in the bed and neither was daddy. She slowly made her way down the stairs, careful not to let the blanket trip her up. Upon her touching down on the bottom floor, she immediately started scurrying around the space. She checked the living room, the kitchen, the laundry room, the dining room which sometimes doubled as Daddy’s office, even her playroom, and he wasn’t in any of them. It only left the one place she knew she was never allowed to step foot near, the basement.
Daddy had made it clear when they had first moved in that she was to never set foot down there. It was where he kept all of his suits and relics from Krypton. There were too many items down there that could harm her. If he was down there, she knew a certain Kryptonian robot would be standing guard. Kelor was even more strict than her Daddy and that was saying something. At least she could use puppy dog eyes on her Daddy in an attempt to get her way. With Kelor, there was no budging and no way to sneak past him. But today she had to try, it was an emergency.
Little Star crept down the hallway to wear the basement door lay and there hovered her newly minted enemy number one. She took a deep breath before slinking down the hall towards Kelor.
“Miss, Sir has commanded me to not let you pass. It was a direct order,” the robot chirped.
“It’s an emergency, Kelor,” she cried.
“Sir has commanded me to not let you pass. It was a direct order,” Kelor repeated.
Why didn’t Kelor get it? She knew the rules and never dared break them before. It was only moments before her head started swirling with thoughts that Twinkle and Daddy were gone for a reason. She must have done something wrong but her mind was too far gone to think through it logically. Memories from before started to fight their way in: how cold her old room was, how he had left her for hours, how terrified she was. The girl did not want to go back there; she could not go back there. She would rather die than go back to that horrid place and lose her whole world again.
Little Star could distantly hear Kelor saying something but it was all lost to her. She had lost her blanket sometime between the time she was freestanding and the time she felt the cool wall against her forehead. The coolness came and went as the thoughts continued to flurry around her head. She hadn’t even realized her breathing had changed until she felt a great warmth wrapped around her, carefully moving her forehead from its spot on the wall. Who dared to touch her? She began to thrash, desperate to get away and find her daddy. The figure slowly turned her around and gently titled her chin up to face them.
“Little one, it’s alright. It’s just me,” He murmured as he gathered one of her smaller hands in his and placed it on his chest,” Feel how I breathe… how my chest goes up and down slowly…Do you think you can copy me? I think my brave girl can.”
She blinked up at him as his face took a second to register in her head. He was here; her daddy was here. Her thoughts started to slow down moment by moment as she mimicked his breathing. As soon as her panic attack had subsided, Kal-El quickly lifted her into his arms and tucked her head into his neck. He softly rubbed her back as the tears fell and waited for her to tell him what was wrong.
“You’re mean, daddy… stole Twinkle… left me to freeze… so, so mean…” she sniffled.
Her words only caused him to hug her tighter before responding, “Daddy is very sorry, little star. Twinkle needed a bath and Daddy had to answer a call for work.”
“Scared me so much….thought you didn’t want me no more,” the girl hiccupped as she continued to hold on tightly to him.
“I will always want you. You’re the light that guides Daddy home. How can Daddy make it up to you?”
That caused her to pop her head out and stare up at him. She bite her lip as she thought real hard.
“Chocolate chip pancakes?” she offered timidly.
“I feel like you’re holding out on me, little girl,” Clark teased.
“I wanna’em with extra syrup and whipped cream and juice pretty please Daddy.”
“I can do that. Do you think you can share with Twinkle too? He just had a scary time with the dryer,” Clark replied as he carried her away from the basement door.
She giggled in response and soon any remaining tears and fears had melted away. He stopped by the laundry room to rescue Twinkle and the girl was over the moon to have her friend back. Kal-El sat her down in her special chair at the kitchen counter and began preparing breakfast. She was too enamored with hugging and playing with her space pup to watch him work. Before she knew it, there was a plate piled high with chocolate chip pancakes, whipped cream, and syrup plus a sippy cup of orange juice before her.
“Thank you, Daddy,” the girl beamed before he gave her a quick kiss on the head.
He carefully took Twinkle out of her hands and sat him up on the counter facing her. She eagerly dug into her pancakes, occasionally giving a happy wiggle here and there. Clark sat down next to her, drinking his coffee and watching.
“Sweetheart, have some of your juice, please. You need your vitamins.”
“Yes daddy,” she chirped after finishing her bite.
Little star grabbed her cup of juice and took a sip, immediately wincing at the taste.
“It tastes funny,” she whined holding up the cup to him.
“I’m sure it's fine. It’s probably all that sugar talking,” the man of steel suggested before taking a sip himself and not reacting, “I don’t taste anything wrong with it.”
He handed the sippy cup back to her and she stared at it suspiciously before placing it back on the counter in front of her. The girl went to go back to her pancakes before she heard her daddy clear his throat. She glanced at him nervously and saw him tilt his head towards the offending juice.
“Drink your juice. I won’t remind you again.”
Little star gulped nervously before setting down her utensils and doing as she asked. Every sip she took made her want to spit it out and throw the cup across the room, but she did not want to get on her daddy’s bad side. He was smiling and gently petting her hair as she kept forcing down the icky drink. Things around her started to appear hazy and the last thing she remembers is hearing the sound of the plastic cup hitting the ground.
Tumblr media
The first thing her hazy mind could process was the immense warmth wrapped around her. It took a few more moments for the rest of her senses to catch up. The girl felt a cold roughness pressed against her cheek as her head was slightly jostled back and forth. Her ears picked up on two voices talking; both were deep, manly, and conveyed a sense of urgency. They both sounded rather familiar, but the noise in her brain had yet to fully settle.
She cracked open one eye and then the other. Wherever she was bright and it took a second for her eyes to adjust. Little Star turned her head to see what she had been resting on and saw the recognizable red, gold, and blue that could only belong to one person. She tilted her head upwards and there was her Daddy, her savior. The girl watched him converse for a little while longer. She still felt as though she was underwater, every sound muffled and hard to place.
She was content to remain cradled in his warmth and to get to watch him. She had no reason to care for the other party present. All that mattered to her at that moment was her Daddy. By the time her brain decided to make sense of what the men were discussing, she was incredibly out of the loop. Her Daddy’s arms would tense around her whenever the name Lex Luthor was spoken. That name seemed like a forgotten memory. It hurt her head to try and remember where that name belonged.
But before she could, the girl felt a warm hand caressing her face with her Daddy was smiling down at her. She was too busy staring into his bright blue eyes to focus on what he was saying. He always said that she was the light, but she never understood it when he shone more brightly than she ever could. If she was a star, he must be the sun, big, bold, and bright.
“What???” She questioned, confused as she snapped out of it.
He chuckled at her before pressing a quick kiss to her nose.
“Remember how Daddy came home very tired the other day?” Kal-El started to which she nodded,” Well Uncle Bruce was able to figure out why and how we can stop it. You’ll have to stay here with him while I go handle it.”
Tears immediately sprung to her eyes as she cried,” But you can’t go! Why can’t Uncle Batty go instead?”
“Little one, there’s a very bad man who can hurt a lot of innocent people if I don’t go. Uncle Bruce got injured trying to help me and he needs help…”
“Where’s Mister Alfred though? He can help. He always helps,” the girl interrupted.
“Alfred is going to be busy helping your Daddy and our other friends stop the bad man,” Bruce offered.
Little Star snapped her head to look at the other man suspiciously. Her eyes trailed over him looking for an actual reason why he couldn’t go in place of Clark and she noticed the bulky grey cast on his right arm. Her gaze softened when she realized that what they were saying was true.
“Uncle Bruce needs a very special little girl to help him and I thought you were just the one. Think of it as a sleepover,” Kal-El suggested.
“With lots of candy and popcorn and pillow fights like in the movies?” the girl questioned looking back and forth between the two men.
Bruce laughed “Maybe not pillow fights but if you’re extra good, I might be able to take you for a ride in the Batmobile.”
She barely registered the disapproving look her Daddy gave him for she was too entranced with the idea of getting to ride in the Batmobile.
“How long?” Little Star queried.
“Hopefully only a night or two. Do you think you can be a big girl and help take care of Uncle Bruce for me?”
She thought it over for a moment before nodding her head in agreement. The girl willed with all her might that she could keep the tears at bay, but it was too hard. With her first sob, she quickly buried her face in his neck and clutched him tightly.
“Will miss you…so so much…only want you safe…” she sobbed as he gently rubbed her back.
Clark let her cry out it for a few beats. She had been so scared when he finally had woken up after that attack. He never wanted her to see him like that again and leaving her with Bruce to track down Lex was the only option.
“Oh, little one,” the man of steel sighed,” Can I see your pretty eyes for a second?”
She moved to look up at him, tear tracks still present on her face.
“I promise you I will even more careful this time. I won’t be going after the bad man alone. You’ll be having so much fun with Uncle Bruce that I’ll be back before you realize it,” Kal-El murmured,” You’re my brave little light and I will always come home to you. I love you, Little Star.”
“I love you too Daddy,” she hiccuped,” To Krypton and back.”
He smiled down at her and gave her a quick peck on the lips. “Now Uncle Bruce told me has a special present for you. Why don’t we go find it together before I go?”
She nodded before scrambling off his lap and offering him her hand. Clark let her drag him along as she excitedly searched the rooms in the house. They finally happened across the second to last door and behind it lay a room rather similar to the one her Daddy made for her at home. It had soft lighting, a daybed, a craft table, and more stuffed animals than she could ever name all by herself. Waiting right at the table with some of her other things from home was her trusted pup, Twinkle.
“May I?” She asked as she gave her Daddy a big hug.
He laughed and gave her the good ahead. The girl squealed and ran over to retrieve him. She was too enamored with exploring the space and relaying to Twinkle all the fun things they could do together. This distraction gave him a much-needed way to quietly escape without a fuss or tears. By the time she looked back at the door, her Daddy was replaced by Bruce with a tub of her favorite ice cream.
“Ice cream always makes me feel better,” he offered as he made his way to sit at the little table.
Dejectedly she sat down with him and placed Twinkle on the table to face them. The girl silently joined Bruce in digging into the tub. Her heart a little less with each bite and the two made a decent dent in the ice cream before she spoke up.
“I miss him already Uncle Batty,” she murmured.
“Me too, little one.”

Diana’s lead on Lex Luthor was the first to turn up unfounded. Her chase had led her to a small island that hadn’t been inhabited by anyone in years. There was no way Luthor could have used this place as a base of operations without leaving a trace of radiation behind. No one of the equipment Bruce had given her gave even the tiniest of beeps. She had no other choice but to head back to Gotham and see if Bruce had any more trails for her to follow. None of the team could risk Luthor releasing more gold kryptonite out into the world. It nearly got Kal-El killed during their last team mission.
Unfortunately, Bruce had tried his best to help protect him from harm and was hurt in the process. Diana knew that man hated nothing more than being forced to the sidelines. He became more broody than usual which is why Diana decided to share her findings in person. Perhaps her visit could give him a much-needed kick ass to stop his moping and give Alfred a break. As she approached the house, the woman was perplexed at the sound of laughter and playful shrieking.
Diana quickly bypassed his security system and followed the sounds to the living room to find Bruce and some random girl having a tea party. The whole situation caused her to pause in the doorway to observe the two of them. They were completely oblivious to Wonder Woman’s presence behind them.
“When will Daddy be back?” The girl questioned sipping at her tea.
“You know if you keep asking it won’t make the time fly any faster,” Bruce replied as he dunked his cookie into his teacup.
“But it’s been fooooreeeevvverrrr since I last asked, Uncle Batty.”
“It’s barely been 5 minutes, little one. Finish your tea and I’ll take you for a spin in the Batmobile after your nap,” Bruce offered.
The girl squealed and quickly finished up her snack and Bruce laughed at her eagerness. This only served to confuse Diana more. To her knowledge, Bruce’s only family were his cousins, the Kane women. Who was this girl? She had too many questions.
“Bruce, who the hell is this?” Diana fumed.
Two faces immediately snapped in her direction, all wide-eyed and slack-jawed.
