luke whump sprinkled into dinluke ahead, no whump between the two though!

so sometime before the events of hoth, luke meets din, who lets say is already the ruler of mandalore. of course they hit it off and now they have all these resources that they did not have before the first death star. however, luke ends up getting captured by some sector of the empire and ends up getting tortured.

he ends up not only blind, but he ends up having to cut off one of his own legs as well (I just rewatched Saw X, specifically Valentina's scene).

when he comes back to the rebellion, everyone is just stunned that luke still has that light to him; so think toph from avatar the last air bender but far nicer lol.

either way, din has to grapple with the empire doing such things to luke.

and you know what, throw in vaderkin killing palps after hearing about that and becomes the new emperor to kill all those that hurt luke. idk i just love vaderkin lol.

also here is a gif that made me think of what luke would look life if he had a breakdown on hoth after everything that happened.

Henry are you gonna be ok

TW: PTSD, Depression and Implication of Self-Harm.

Henry was awake during the night...the others were still asleep.

he was in the kitchen drinking water...he was touching his throat... he was pressing his fingers, flinching with every touch...

he was holding back the tears looking at the water in his hands... his hands were shaking...he tried to drink the water but a shock of memory made him let the glass fall to the floor breaking into several pieces of glass...

he starts to hyperventilate... he touches his face below his eye... he looks at his reflection...

Henry saw his father's reflection....

He covered his head with his arms, whimpering several no's in a broken voice, choking on tears...

He looks to the side, he could see a knife... The blade seemed to mesmerize Henry... He slowly lifts his trembling arm and brings it closer to the utensil.... His bandages were coming off...

He stops...

Why? Why he hurts himself so much..... This is Ellie's apartment... He didn't want to get blood on it...

He backs away from the knife, still covering his head with his arms...

He notices the loose bandages... He starts to take them off aggressively, throwing them to the floor. They were completely stained with dried blood, he was hyperventilating, choking even more with the cries and sobs, coughing a little...

He kept himself in his corner trying to ignore this pain he had in his soul...

Kinda hard to write a love themed game and do stuff for it while in rl I got slam dunked out of a relationship,and a lover I thought cared for me for 2 years told me they wont care if I died, had my 2nd failed attempt, im tired, Its too much man.

The more I think about the tragic backstory of picard, the more frustrating it becomes.

To start it was not presented as a tale of trauma, it was almost presented as a tale of whimsy and romanticism. It had moments of darkness with the underground tunnels but overall it was pretty and sparkly and full of wonder instead of horror, trauma, and actual darkness.

The tunnel scenes were a confusing mess. I get they were like that as symbolism but it makes emotional investment harder when you can't get a read on the order of events. The moment in the tunnels before his foot gets stuck, where her tone gets darker was alright but it was washed over almost immediately.

Picard finding his dead mother should be a moment of sheer traumatic horror where she's hanging in her bedroom in front of a horrified young child. Instead she's presented as a hanging angel in a beautifully painted aviary with magestic, warm lighting and Picard speaks of this like it's a fleeting moment that got away instead of a moment of horrible tragedy.

Even in his own memory he shouldn't look at this like her hanging corpse is a beautiful angel basking in the light. The rewind bit would have worked fine for this but it doesn't because it painted over the tragedy with symbolism. There's no emotion to process because it decided to give me hollow symbolism to take the edge off.

I get the idea of the wonder and sparkles, it's probably supposed to invoke fridge horror when looked back on as a filter over the actual traumatic events. It doesn't do a good job at this. It actively sabotages the emotion they were going for.

Fucking christ. You want to give a character a tragic backstory? Then commit to the trauma. Show me the horrific shit i should be seeing instead of the angelic symbolism. Fuck.

I also heavily resent the ever-present implication in mainstream media that at all touches on trauma that we cannot have any sympathy for Bad Victims. That it's evil to write a sympathetic Bad Victim. Hell, that it's bad to portray one at all at times. Writing a victim of trauma who's an addict or self-destructive is already an edge case-- writing trauma survivors who end up actually hurting someone else, being chronically "treatment"-resistant or having inconvenient ptsd, perpetuate the cycle, or are just kind of a total dick is considered an evil move. Instead of like. An actually complex and interesting artistic choice.

Idk. It pisses me off a lot how often Bad Victims[TM] are brushed under the rug and if you dare to speak of them/make art of them, let alone SYMPATHIZE with them you're an irredeemable monster. And that's just fictional characters. Don't even get me started on the way people treat actual people who have ptsd in a way that's at all inconvenient and problematic in their opinion.

Some days are good days, some are bad, some are dark and some are light. I thank @lokisprettygirl for being one of few tumblr blogs helping me get through this rough time after losing my mom. I didn't think i would ever say this but i feel like my brother and i are now orphans now having both parents gone. I have something in common with superheroes after they lose there parents. So... Warriors

It is obvious by now he's not ok. He's irritable and tense.

I've had thoughts and ideas on this for awhile, so I think now's a good time to speak them. Very important detail at the end.

There are some really big and some small things adding to his stress

The drama with the sword. Wild went against the agreed plan, and lashed out in anger fear for twilights injury. From things Jojo said, Wars is mad about it for a while.

I have said this in other posts, but based on things Jojo has said and some details, I do not think Wild likes wars. He has not really gotten close to him, which adds on to the negativity between them

But Wars... is a captain. This journey is different, and he's doing amazing at setting aside expectations of how to work with rank. But that is still a clear stressor- to him that was unacceptable in battle

^this is one big thing we watched go wrong and has clearly been upsetting since

Another thing is

Wars has been taking on too much. We've seen him break up a fight at the inn, comfort Time (time!), and tell him he'd take care of the others.

Twice he said "let them", and "let him be"-making others have space they needed. He asked Four what was wrong and followed up with helping with smithing.

^^These are all small things. None of these are huge- practically tiny tasks. But they add up- all the attention to others feeling but not his own

... and

Wars has not smiled. Yes, he smiled, but it was not his smile. Since Twilight went injured to the inn, there has only been smiles in a way expected, but not much beyond when he found out his friend wasn't dead. (And when he helped Four at the blacksmiths)

In the updates, I have seen others saying how cool/pretty he looked. Which he did! But emotion wise, I only thought he looked angry. Even when teasing Twilight...

But here's the biggest thing that I believe is bothering him...

I've wanted to point this out for awhile. The thing is, Wars was really hurt when he found out Twilight didn't tell him about Wolfie

It's small details. A few sentences and facial expressions. But they add up over the chapter, and I don't think he felt trusted or trusting when he found out

He tried to find out who else knew

And why he was one who didn't

*read the blurred words:

"No one said anything to me, I'm just left out of the loop. Who else knows? Just us?"

Wolfie being secret wasn't necessarily about trust, but wars took it personally. He really didn't understand or want to accept that Twilight would have told some of the others but not him...

Wars is distinctly closer to the ones his age, who the younger ones often turn to. And as someone who's been through war, who bonds closest with those he feels he works with best?

Twilight having a major secret he didn't share with Wars, but did with others,

Felt like a knife to the (back?) chest.

And it hurt him

Look at his face when saying "we couldn't do a thing for him". He's looking away, directly after asking four and wild if they knew. I don't think he felt trusted. Or trusting. From thinking someone wasn't who he thought he was, and maybe was closer to others...

^^this is what I think is perhaps the biggest stressor- yet most unnoticeable

Wars never spoke to anyone about his feelings. He pushed it aside and went and helped.

This is ok. Between people so close, anything can be worked out. This is very revealing of how much Wars cares about twilight and the others

As far as Warriors pushing aside his needs and focusing on others... it's hard.

But I can confidently say this: Warriors would never want to not help all he could, when the others needed him

Wars is stressed right now. He's taken on too much, he's probably still mad at Champion, and... he feels betrayed (god wars should never have to feel betrayed) and untrusted

Like literally everyone ever others, wars deals with his hurt. Sometimes he can't deal with it alone, and sometimes he can. It will all work out, and I love how much he loves his brothers.

But nothing, I repeat nothing

Will be ok
