Dark Cream Week !!!! | Day 2 prompt - Knight’s armour.

Okay so none of you knew this but I’m extremely abstract in the way I interpret things at times, here for example the ‘armour’ is more so not a literal one, more like a mental one.

The armour is meat shield LV20 Cross !!! Saddening.. in the drawing they just got back from a fight, so Lv20 Cross is carrying a less injured Shattered than he is— don’t get mistaken if anything happens to 20 Shattered can and will cause damage !

toxic dark cream but cross loves killer and killer does too and shatter doesn't approve of this

CW! Gore, Manipulation

shatter finds out and they're angry cause they see it as cross betraying them and cheating on them(despite cross probably getting forced into this relationship shatter made up)

so they decide to get rid of killer while cross watches

shatter pins killer down and they, out of pure curiosity, start to push killer's soul closer to his chest

killer starts to fight back, trying to push shatter's hand away because he knows what'll happen if his soul gets stuffed into his ribcage

shatter finds this amusing and intriguing, eventually they win the fight and successfully pushed killer's soul into his ribcage

it took a second but then there was the first crack, then multiple followed after and killer's pained groans

shatter dropped him to the floor and turned to cross, now satisfied by the reaction, "this is what happens when you decide to run off and find someone else."

cross covered his mouth in shock, taking a few steps forward because he wanted to heal killer, he loved him but shatter kept him back, restraining him with their tendrils

"stop! let me heal him, please! please, i won't see him anymore, just let me heal him!" he begged but to no prevail

"this is a lesson, cross. do NOT defy me, we're going home" cross froze, a few memories coming back, shatter sounded like his father and it scared him

cross took one more look back at killer, who was curled up on his side clutching his stomach and the sound of cracking was still present

killer looked up with a wavering and faint eyelight, he smiled and signed "i love you" and mouthed it

it was a silly moment that happened way back

...

cross showed killer sign language and showed him how to sign 'i love you'

"you're such a dork and that's cheesy, im never gonna do that"

they laughed it off, not knowing that this would be a touching moment in the future

...

cross teared up upon seeing killer sign it, his arms were restricted so he couldn't sign it back so instead he mouthed "i love you too."

killer relaxed and kept his eyelight on cross until shatter forcefully made cross leave with them

dust was sent out to find killer after nightmare realized killer wasn't coming back, he so happened to find killer on the ground bleeding out

dust quickly picked killer up and got them back home

killer was dazed unable to comprehend dust's words

"killer, who did this to you? killer? can you hear me? fxck, snap out of it damn it!"

dust noticed the absence of killer's soul but the glow was still there, lifting his sweater up he saw the damage

killer's ribcage was completely blown out, it was a miracle some of the bones stayed connected even if by a sliver

dust carefully extracted the soul and set it to the side, it was dripping with both determination and killer's blood

dust healed what he could without hurting killer but eventually had to call in nightmare because he was starting to freak out, feel sick from how much damage there was, and started to get hysterical

even nightmare was horrified by what it saw, even if it didn't show it

at this point killer had passed out, which was a good thing, as long as he wasn't dusting so nightmare healed the rest of what dust couldn't, its goop keeping the broken bones together

nightmare watched killer's soul while dust was taken out of the room by horror, who took him to the kitchen for a comfort snack even though dust felt like his nonexistent gut was churning and he felt like heaving every last bit of magic out

nightmare couldn't think of anyone who would do this, killer had no known enemies aside from the stars but even so he was well acquainted with them and they wouldn't do this much damage

silly little thought that i might make into a fic 👀

Dark Cream Drabble

This was originally supposed to be part of @zu-is-here's Dark Cream Week 2022, but I never got around to posting it... Prompt: "I'm Here."

Dream hated living in the Void. It was boring. It was plain. The whiteness was often painfully bright. At least, those were the reasons he told himself. Those reasons were logical, made sense, fit his character. And most importantly, they didn’t bring up any... difficult feelings. 

Sometimes the Void was too much for Cross.  After spending so long trapped in the remains of Xtale, sometimes it was difficult to remember where he was when he woke up. He’d see the blank white surroundings and just assume the worst. The guardian told himself that he didn’t care, that this was Cross’s problem, but deep down, he knew he was lying. The guard could leave the Void if he wanted, but he didn’t. He never tried, or even brought it up. He didn’t have to torture himself by staying here, waking up and assuming his worst fears had come true.

Dream hated those nights, listening to his guard’s sobs as he relived nightmares from the past. Cross was so full of weaknesses, but this was one Dream didn’t want to even think about exploiting. This wasn’t just some pitiful twist of emotions, like holding onto hope that Dream could be saved. This was a fear that he couldn’t control, rooted deep within his soul. And he put up with it, intentionally stayed in a place where everything made it worse, for Dream. 

For some reason that the guardian simply could not fathom, this thought twisted his corrupted soul, making him feel emotions that he was sure he’d forgotten. Cross had claimed to care, the guardian had never believed him. But if he didn’t, why would he stay in this place where his fears were amplified? Dream sent him out on missions all the time. It wouldn’t be hard for Cross to just... leave. Never come back from a mission. Fade into the multiverse. What could Dream do to stop him?

One night, as he felt that familiar, painful twist of Cross’s emotions, Dream couldn’t stand it anymore. The guardian usually avoided the soldier when he broke down, but Dream must have been feeling particularly generous, because he found himself at his guard’s bedside, sitting on the edge of the bed, gently rubbing his back, pulling him closer, whispering reassurances. 

“Shh. It’s alright. I’m here.”

Because if Cross insisted on torturing himself to serve Dream, then it was only fair for the guardian to comfort him when it became too much. Right?

The children are invited to an halloween party, let's hope all goes well!

What's that?

2 years ago, I hosted a big collab for christmas then last year it was for the new year and it was quite nice and fun soooo...

This year, I'm hosting a big collab for Halloween to make some kind of a "family picture" with some of the dark cream ship children ! I thought about it and nor Cross or S!Dream will be in the picture as there aren't exactly the same depending on the child.

(there is one exception for someone but I dunno if she'll participate this year as usual I shall not assume ^^)

How to participate?

You need to have a dark cream/dark xunshine ship child (Cross x Shattered Dream kid). I'm making an exception for post dark cream kids ;). As long as Dream has been Shattered at one point, the kid can participate.

Draw your kid wearing a halloween outfit!

Send me the drawing or tag me on it so I can get it! The drawing must have a transparent background so I can easily edit it. If you put a watermark, please put it on the inside of your drawing so that I don't have to erase/move it to make place for the other children.

You need to send me the drawing before the 5th of october so I have time to edit it properly before the big day and in case there are some problems. (It can however be discussed if needed, exceptions will be accepted or refused case by case)

I'll post it the 31th of october (probably towards the end of the day) !

If someone without a kid wanna participate, you're welcome in the background+ team ^^

(being in the background+ team means drawing some elements of the background like halloween decorations or some other stuff. It's usually me and music fairy @diofasolia on that team)

PS: You can't use a kid belonging to someone else for that event ! You must be the creator of the kid and send me a drawing you did at least mostly by yourself (it doesn't mean you can't have help or collaborate with someone however) ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

PPS: Be creative or more classic with the outfits! Have fun! Do as you wish!

Dark Cream Week 2023!!

hello folks and welcome to my first official post! i'm here with my submission for the challenge that one of my personal favorite artists @zu-is-here has created, the Dark Cream/Dark Xunshine Week challenge <33

my submissions are writings on ao3 that i plan to post onto wattpad in the near future.

here are it's contents!

~1, 2, 3, and 7 are one-shots, all in the same work in separate chapters. these are lazily done and not well done. [UPD: i noticed i had only posted one chapter on accident last night... this is why you don't stay up until one in the morning people--]

~4 is inspired by x-orcist love and passion, a comic i recently re-encountered [I, II, III]. [i'm aware love and passion is getting a revamp, i wrote this before it was posted...]

~6 is based on the flowerfell collab au, inspired by this comic.
