Alright, so we’ve got this Pokemon Sw/Sh ‘Darkest Day’ AU, where all the characters and locations are there, but it’s medieval times, baby. Or medieval-ish, since we do mix some other centuries in on a few elements.

So, in normal canon, all the Gym Leaders and such are essential to their towns, so we made them all some form of nobility. Also, there’s a war, which means everyone gets some sort of martial discipline/weapon.

Milo

Title: Viscount

Weapon: He gets to have a scythe. Don’t tell me it’s impractical, it’s cool.

Nessa

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Spear and weighted net for a fishing theme.

Kabu

Title: Earl

Weapon: Bisento; he brought it from Hoenn. A practical weapon with a stern, powerful air.

Bea

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Brass knuckles. SHE WILL PUNCH YOU.

Allister:

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Shortsword, but he’s not good at it yet so he mostly uses his Ghosts to possess, confuse, and levitate threats.

Opal

Title: Duchess

Weapon: She is too old for battle now, but when she was young, she had a rapier. Classy.

Gordie

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Warhammer. This is purely for coolness.

Melony

Title: Viscountess

Weapon: Chakram. I have no reason for this it’s just cool.

Piers

Title: Viscount (joint title with his sister)

Weapon: Great axe, because I’ve always thought of Piers as ‘slow to anger but for the love of god don’t piss him off’ kind of guy. A weapon that swings relatively slowly but is unstoppable once in motion is perfect. Also, axe as in guitar 8D

Raihan

Title: Duke

Weapon: Dragon-headed mace, no real reason.

Leon

Title: King

Weapon: Longsword, because it’s classic.

Other Canon Characters

Marnie

Title: Viscountess (joint title with her brother)

Weapon: Throwing knives, with two close combat knives for when she’s out of the former.

Bede

Title: Bede has been adopted by Opal, so when she passes, he will be a Duke. He is a Lord for now.

Weapon: Rapier, with carved knuckles as a backup.

Hop

Title: Prince

Weapon: Zweihander, because that skinny kid being a beast with a greatsword is funny.

accidentally deleted an ask asking about what i thought about eternatus. i really wanted to answer so im gonna do it here

first of all

literally just an idiot. relies on the people working for him to raise his ego and couldn't stand the consequences of his actions in front of his eyes so he turned himself in. i honestly expected him to hide from the cops. still he sucks

but oh my god eternatus. i have never identified with a Pokémon more. we are pushed by the people around us to become something we're told we're "destined to be" while having no control over it. i don't want to be the champion and eternatus didn't want to destroy galar. i know they didn't because... they would've just done it before. the ancient darkest day happened, without those wishing stars most likely. all those wishing stars were just too much for them and they couldn't control that much power

also, poison AND dragon type????? literally the best type combination of all time. only tied with ghost/poison. by the way do you like dynamaxing and gigantamaxing? thank eternatus for that one

🍷- Ever been drunk on the job?

I am legally not allowed to drink. So legally I have not drank.

But, if I was hypothetically drunk on the job, I would have to say it was hypothetically in Galar in late 2019. It would be the second day of damage control in Hammerlocke. I would have hypothetically taken a sweet red wine from a collapsed winery right next to Hammerlocke Stadium. I would have hypothetically drank half the bottle because it was sweet and I would be getting progressively more drunk, and Nelson would have to hypothetically stop me.

(I am hypothetically a lightweight drinker in this hypothetical)

It was then a team effort with my Pokémon to tie a rope around me and attach me to Upah, my Lycanroc. My Pokémon would have then hypothetically helped me around the city and do all of my work for me.

Of course, none of this ever happened because it is all a hypothetical. And as a Pokémon Ranger, I would have never done such an irresponsible thing.

Your Yoongi fics are what got me into your account. The pokemon fic is one of my comfort fics bc the atmosphere and softness of it is perfect for rainy days so I LOVE that some of your aus are niche but I get that it can also make interactions lower than usual.

I'm also surprised that When September ends hasnt been getting at lot of well deserved praise either!! 😤 my star wars knowledge isnt that vast but the story so far has been so well written and still immersive, I dont feel left out reading it at all. Yoongi and MC's dynamic hurts my soul (in a good way!) Because I love the childhood friends trope but they've got some demons theyre fighting and I'm excited to find out more about them 👀👀 also hhh I think I might go feral to Yoongis reaction to m/c being taken 👀👀

you are honestly one of only a few people who have said they liked Darkest Day. it, much like When September Ends, is one of my more niche concepts, so it's always nice to see it getting some love.

I don't mind less notes, it's just that 99% of the interaction When September Ends (and most of my fics) gets are just likes? I get wanting to bookmark things for later, or just liking it to keep it handy! but no one ever comes back and says whether they actually enjoyed reading or to ask questions or just keysmash. I get it, but it makes me sad.

but omg yeah childhood friends to lovers is like.. my jam. it's probably my favorite trop right now. we'll get to see more of their friendship soon! I hope you enjoy Yoongi's bits next parttt 💙💙
