Melinoe Lanami and Alternate Counterparts

Darth Viveza! The main and canon version of Melinoe in Force of Nature. Taken from her home planet of Csilla by Darth Heiss after her mother’s death during her adolescence. She forcefully trained under the Sith Lady. Eventually, coming to be known as Darth Viveza. 

Jedi Melinoe! Brought to the Jedi as a toddler. She trained as Plo Koon’s Padawan and eventually took on an alternate Jaks Karaay Jr as her own Padawan. During the Clone Wars, she served as the Jedi general of Law’s Squad. Due to guilt and becoming disillusioned from the Order, Melinoe planned to leave the Order after the war. She was later killed during Order 66. 

Huntress Selene! In a universe where Melinoe and Eglantine escape Byss right before the events of the Phantom Menace. Through a series of events, the two become part of a team with Jango Fett. Taking on the code names Selene and Helios. Melinoe became an aunt-like figure to Boba Fett and saved Jango from his death at the hands of Mace Windu. 

Senator Lanami! Arguably the happiest version of Melinoe. A world where Melinoe stopped her mother from being killed. She continued living on Csilla. Working her way up through the political system. Exposing corruption as she went. Thanks to her influence, the Chiss Ascendancy would become a powerful force in the Republic Senate. Fearing assassination attempts, the Senate placed her under the protection of Kit Fisto (whom she eventually shared a secret relationship with).

Melinoe Lanami (Darth Viveza) / CC-2224 | Cody

“You fascinate me, Cody,” Viveza said. Resting her chin on her hands. 

“Why?” 

“You must quite the mental fortitude to spend so much time with Kenobi without going insane.” Viveza smirked. 

There was something in Viveza’s tone that made Cody let out a burst of laughter. He was expecting another mystery comment. Not a genuine joke.

So very much huge update! Melinoe's love interest won't be Obi Wan anymore. I realised recently that I just have no interest in Melinoe and Obi as a couple (literally look at my asks for them, and I always answer something along the lines of "I haven't developed this, or I need to develop it more").

I'm feeling much more optimistic towards a relationship between Cody and Melinoe. Maybe it will all go horribly wrong or I'll be really proud of it, but I'll have to wait and see.

Alternate April AUs ❂ Day 2 ❂ Merfolk AU

Takes place in a nameless town somewhere on the North Island of Aotearoa.  

Cody is house-sitting for a family friend while on (forced) stress leave. 

He finds the mermaid Melinoe somewhere along the beach. She's hurt, but Cody can't work out what would have caused it.

Cody is freaking out because 1. Mermaid apparently 2. A hurt person sleeping on the couch!

Melinoe wakes up, and the two are able to work out an agreement where Melinoe is able to stay until she has healed.

Domestic shenanigans ensue : 3
