There're worse things you could be. You could be a cold, dead-veined, old hell-junkie like me -- a burned-out, tourist voyeur... Yeah... make a good epitaph, wouldn't it? "John Constantine. He came, he saw... he took some fuckin' pictures."

V for Vendetta
“Voilà!”
“I know why you did it. You were afraid. Who wouldn’t be? War, terror, disease. They were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason.”
Very vivid descriptive view of how the ideas of civil liberties are bullet proof. I’ve only seen it once but I should watch it again.
Remember remember the fifth of November!

V for Vendetta by Alan Moore.
A story originally created to serve as a warning of what could possibly arise from the Thatcherite government of the 1980s, V for Vendetta has stood the test of time as one of the premier works of the comic book medium. A story that tells a tale of tyranny and the valiant effort made to thwart it that's as timeless as it is harrowing.
