it’s the end of the year, which means it’s time for a work round-up! i had a pretty busy year so i didn't post as much, but i also know i did more longer works. so it probably balances out in the end. if you haven’t yet, check out my 2019 roundup, 2020 roundup, 2021 roundup, and 2022 roundup! all works are ordered in chronological posting order.

To watch him. That is, until Eddie himself is in dire need of just lying down and letting the floor work its apparent magic. It's a good thing, he finds, that Steve understands him without as many words and is very ready to just take care of him. Eddie might be a little bit in love, actually. Or: In which they lie on the floor and take care of each other, falling in love somewhere along the way between music and silence.

“Excuse me,” Patrick asks the flight attendant, “our seats don’t have tray tables.”

“Did you purchase the tray upgrade?”

“The - what? Don’t all seats come with trays?”

“Nothing is complimentary on Larry Air!” Pipes up David from the window seat with a murderously fake smile.

“Exactly!” enthuses the flight attendant. “Have you flown with us before?”

“No,” fake-smiles David. “First and last time. My husband was excited about your low flat rates. Now we know why!”

Patrick purchases the non-complimentary snacks and slumps in his non-upgraded, non-adjustable seat. “I’m sorry, ok? I’ll make it up to you.”

“You fucking better.”
