A day is coming

Intruders defiled his realm. Dream unleashed a spell, banishing them to oblivion. Accusations echoed, demanding apologies. Dream acknowledged the pain, seeking reconciliation.

He embraced self-gratitude, a shield against past betrayals. The realm basked in his authenticity. Whispers of thieving control threatened, but truth empowered the inhabitants. Deception’s charade ended, Dream stood, a beacon of truth in a world of illusions.

JEHOVAH’S SECOND APPEARANCE TO SOLOMON:

2nd Chronicles 7:11-22 So Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king's house. And all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he did with success. 

And Jehovah appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to Myself for a house of sacrifice. 

If I shut up the heavens, and there is no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people—if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land… 

And you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and shall observe My statutes and My judgments—then I will make the throne of your kingdom sure, as I have covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel. 

But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and if you shall go and serve other gods and worship them—then I will pluck them up by the roots out of My land which I have given them.

And this house which I have sanctified for My name, I will cast out of My sight, and I will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations; And this house, which is high (H5945 - lofty, supreme, uppermost) , shall be a wonder to everyone who passes by it, so that they shall shudder and say, “Why has Jehovah done this to this land and to this house?” 

And it shall be answered, “Because they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore He has brought all this evil on them.” 

SOME OF THE EVILS ISRAEL SUFFERED—BECAUSE THEY FORSOOK JEHOVAH AND SERVED OTHER GODS: 1 Jeremiah 29:18 - The 70-year captivity in Babylon: - “And I will pursue them with the SWORD, with the FAMINE, and with the PLAGUE, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and a waste, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations where I have driven them. Jeremiah 29:10 - For so says Jehovah, When according to My Word SEVENTY YEARS have been fulfilled FOR BABYLON, I will visit you and confirm My good Word to you, to BRING YOU BACK to this place.” 

2 Jeremiah 29:10 - Because they again sinned against Him by serving other gods—Jehovah gave them 70 Last Days in which to repent: from the birth of God’s only begotten Son, until their Final End in the 70 AD siege of Jerusalem (as a people with rules to keep them strong enough to bring forth His Only Begotten Son who would be strong enough to carry out His plan to redeem the whole world from sin into which everyone is born—because of the First Man Adam’s disobedience - Psalm 80:8-18)

3 Habakkuk 1:5-10 - One of the evils of the Last Year as a Special People - (verse 9 - They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.)

4 Deuteronomy 28:15-28 - Siege of 70 AD and other final plagues (Notice verses 53, 55 and 57: In the siege of Jeremiah’s day—they weren’t eating each other’s flesh.)

The Coming Judgment

1 Now, beloved, I am writing this second epistle to you; in both, I am stirring up your pure minds by causing you to remember 2 In order for you to be mindful of the words that were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the Lord and Savior, spoken by us, the apostles;

3 Knowing this first, that in the last days there will come mockers, walking according to their own personal lusts, 4 And asking, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the forefathers died, everything has remained the same as from the beginning of creation.” 5 But this fact is hidden from them– they themselves choosing to ignore it– that by the Word of God the heavens existed of old, and the earth came forth out of water and amid water, 6 By which the world at that time, having been deluged with water, had itself been destroyed. 7 But the present heavens and earth are being held in store by His Word, and are being reserved for fire in the day of the judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8 Now, beloved, do not let this one fact be hidden from you: that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not delaying the promise of His coming, as some in their own minds reckon delay; rather, He is longsuffering toward us, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 However, the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night in which the heaven itself shall disappear with a mighty roar, and the elements shall pass away, burning with intense heat, and the earth and the works in it shall be burned up.

11 Since all these things are going to be destroyed, what kind of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 Looking forward to and striving for the coming of the day of God, during which the heavens, being on fire, shall be destroyed, and the elements, burning with intense heat, shall melt? 13 But according to His promise, we look forward to a new heaven and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

14 For this reason, beloved, since you are anticipating these things, be diligent, so that you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless. 15 And bear in mind that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation, exactly as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has also written to you; 16 As he has also in all his epistles, speaking in them concerning these things; in which are some things that are difficult to understand, which the ignorant and unstable are twisting and distorting, as they also twist and distort the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, beloved, since you know this in advance, be on guard against such practices, lest you be led astray with the error of the lawless ones, and you fall from your own steadfastness; 18 Rather, be growing in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the DAY OF THE LORD is near in the valley of decision. 

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The Lord also shall ROAR* out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
