DAY6 MBTI

*based on my opinion and cognitive functions. May change later.*

*Also I am aware they have talked about their types, but they most likely used the 16personalities site or something similar. The results are often very inaccurate from there.*

Explanation of functions

Sungjin: ENFJ (Fe - Ni - Se - Ti)

Fe (Extroverted Feeling) is concerned with the feelings and values of others. Sungjin uses his Fe to lead the group in a caring, harmonious way. He's a pretty patient person, always intently listening to the members (and may be why he's usually quiet on variety shows and such; he wants to let his members speak and listen to them fully). He always takes other's words and opinions into consideration, he seems to gain reassurance talking to others.

Ni (Introverted Intuition) is focused on one's own personal insights and future goals. Sungjin always does what he wants to do, he's not very conventional and/or conformative. He has admitted that he and the members used to argue over the direction of their music as Sungjin wanted their music to suit his style. However, he still decided to just go with what the whole group wanted in the end (Fe). His goal in the end is for DAY6 to be one of the biggest bands in the world, which is probably why he doesn't linger too much in wins and current popularity; he wants to keep going and going.

Se (Extroverted Sensing) uses our 5 senses to process the world and details. Fe - Se makes him in tune to the environment and people, he's always aware and makes sure to pay attention.

Ti (Introverted Thinking) is a very analytical function that picks apart details to find consistencies and build own system. It seems like he has too much doubt in himself sometimes and needs a lot of reassurance.

Young K: ENTP (Ne - Ti - Fe - Si)

Ne (Extroverted Intuition) is focused on making external connections and seeing patterns, seeing many possibilities and ideas. Although he gets a bit nervous at times, Young K still is a go getter for opportunities. He tries to keep a positive mindset to overcome challenges, trusting that his future self would be able to be improve it. He had many questions as he was working on his album - what he wanted to say, how he wanted to express himself, just why in general. He's definitely got the Ne creativity.

Ti makes Brian quite witty and quick minded, especially with the help of his Ne (him being slightly mischevious and pranking the members sometimes lol).

Fe is actually pretty well developed, Brian overall is a nicely balanced ENTP. He gains inspiration from other's life stories and emotions to write music and knows when he's accidentally offended someone. Still, he is pretty selective about which deep emotions he shows publicly. He connects well and easily with others, which can be shown with him having a radio show.

Si (Introverted Sensing) uses past experiences for possible solutions for present and future problems. Sleeps a lot, loses things here and there, just overall trouble with simple daily tasks sometimes lol.

Wonpil: INFP (Fi - Ne - Si - Te)

Fi (Introverted Feeling) is concerned with one's own feelings, morals, and values. Wonpil isn't too concerned about what others think, eventually splitting from the "cool" image that was placed onto him at debut to be his quirky self. He has also stated he doesn't really care if people see DAY6 as idols or as a rock band. He's very soft around his members but can be guarded when he's not with them (very typical of Fi since it's such a private function). He expresses himself the most through the way he writes and creates music.

Ne - The way he describes each member's voice, especially Sungjin's lol. ' “Young K’s is like red wine. There’s both a sexy and steady feeling. I’ve liked Jae’s voice since he was on ‘K-pop Star’ so I was so fascinated when he joined our team. His voice is the one I want most. Sungjin’s is like rice soup. [His voice] is very concentrated.” ' (Allure magazine interview). Often mentions how DAY6 is constantly experimenting to try to exhibit their color more.

Si - Seems to look into past experiences occassionally to compare to the present, e.g looking back on their debut and see how much they've grown musically

Te (Extroverted Thinking) is focused on being fair and objective in order to make efficient decisions. He doesn't mind taking on challenges and pursuing what he wants.

Dowoon: ISFP (Fi - Se - Ni - Te)

Fi - Has said he likes to be different and purposely does/chooses things that are different from others. Individuality is usually pretty important to many Fi users.

Se - Observes people physically and makes assumptions based on what he sees. E.g first impression upon seeing Young K was noticing how sharp his features were, which made him think he was cool but scary. He has a few mishaps e.g breaking his drum sticks, tapping a wine glass too hard and breaking it, etc.

Ni - Having Ni tertiary, he has a vague idea of where his life path will go. He has said it himself he doesn't know where his road will take him, but he will continue to walk it. He seems more comfortable living in the moment.

Te - Picking up the drums and trying new things in general (Se) to get over his shyness and awkwardness...which still didn't really work lol. Still, he does try his best even when he lacks the confidence in his abilities sometimes.

Sagittarius Sun and Pisces moon is an adaptable combo. With both signs ruled by Jupiter, it also indicates an open minded and care free personality; Curious and ready to learn about all sorts of things; Can gain inspiration from many things for his creative outlets. The only con would be a sensitivity to reality - Sags generally dislike dealing with the negativity of life (can be repressive), whereas Pisces are sensitive to life in general due to their empathetic nature (feel too much).

Sagittarius stellium (sun, mercury, venus, mars, and north node) indicates a very free spirited and curious personality. Sag mercury gives him a lot of honesty and bluntness. Jokes and teasing are his love language (mercury + venus). This stellium + pisces moon may make him a Jupiter dominant.

I've read his rising sign may be Sagittarius, which is also my guess. He definitely gives fire rising energy, which is also helped by his Sagittarius stellium. Sag risings are energetic and friendly, charming and approachable people. Young K definitely gets his energy from others (often gets inspired listening to other people's experiences/stories). He's definitely very passionate and driven; even when things are tough, he's likely the type to just smile and push through it, esp since Sagittarius is an optimist.

1. between 7 and 5, who did you bias first? hyunsang bc zb1 is a very new group. my friend introduced me to hoppipolla bc i said i wanted to get into kbands more. also i watched a ton of hyunsang's covers on youtube - this man can SING. i think jae (sorry to bring him up for those who aren't v fond of him) also gave him a shoutout during a twitch stream bc of his voice and how good his english pronunciation is.

2. between 2 and 6, who are you more attached to? changbin, just bc day6 and stray kids are my ult of ults by a landslide. also we used to have the same mbti, enfp, and i feel like he's become kinda a role model for me. he's the kind of person i wanna become in terms of principles (lol), discipline, kindness, reliability, etc. i admire him a lot. also i connect to streetlight (one of his solo songs) on a spiritual level!!

3. if you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do? y'all :( young k. taerae is the sweetest, but i've known young k for longer and he seems really fun to talk to. i know him better in terms of random facts, and it'd be fun to have a conversation about his songwriting process and everything. also i don't speak korean lol.

4. what is your favorite physical feature about 9? bruh LOL. am i allowed to pick the entire face? he's just got really graceful and sharp features.

5. what is your favorite part of 6's personality? he cares a lot about the people around him. there's this one video of him crying over everything his two older sisters have done for him, and it really made me realize how deeply he feels his emotions and how much he cherishes the contributions of others toward his success.

6. if you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them? you are a badass

7. between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid? i'm sorry changbin but young k :| i feel like we have a similar style - minimalist and clean. changbin looks good in whatever he wears, but there's just not enough variety for me.

8. what is a style that you want to see 3 try? in terms of clothing? maybe androgynous streetwear

9. between 5 and 4, who are you closer to in height? jay lol. gunwook is a tall boy

10. between 10 and 9, whose music do you like the best? ahhhhh i can't choose. both ace's and le sserafim's discographies are good in their own ways. and i have yet to familiarize myself with all of their songs, so yea

Basic Information About Me

My name is Lovino, but I go by Lovi or Lino.

I am an '00-liner, and am 22 years old (as of October 2022).

I am AFAB, but am Genderqueer/Non-Binary. I also use any pronouns!

I am Queer (i.e. not straight). I don't care enough about labels to delve further into that.

I am of mixed East & Southeast Asian ethnicity.

I was born in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, specifically!), but I have moved around a lot throughout my life so I've lived lots of places. I currently reside in Canada.

I can speak six (6) languages, but English is the one I'm most confident in, since it's the one I've used the most in life.

My MBTI is INFJ-T.

My Western Zodiac is Scorpio (Scorpio Sun, Sagittarius Moon, Cancer ASC1), and my Eastern Zodiac is the Dragon (Yang, Metal, 庚+辰).

I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree (Anthropology & Psychology Dual-Major). I am a sucker for the arts in general, but especially the study of people (history, culture, language, and how humans function in general).

I follow a lot of K-Pop groups, but I only really regularly interact with the content & fandom spaces of a few of them.

The groups that I follow the absolute most are:

Enhypen (ENHA)

Stray Kids (SKZ)

I also follow Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS), Seventeen (SVT), Day6, EXO, SHINee, Dreamcatcher, (G)-IDLE, & NewJeans more than other groups, but I do not engage within the fan spaces of these two nearly as much as the previously mentioned four.

I do not have an official bias within any of these groups, as I am incredibly indecisive and also would readily die for any of them as-is.

About My Writing...

I'm very new to writing and not super confident in my abilities, but I will try my best! Please be aware that I can't promise/guarantee high consistency or quality writing by any means.

Please note that I do have real bad ADHD (diagnosed) and stuff going on in my real life, so I may occasionally go MIA for a bit or struggle with consistency. Apologies in advance for that.

Random Facts About Me...

I was born on halloween! (October 31st, 2000)

I was born in Vietnam and spent the first couple years of my life there.

I love Sichuanese food (四川菜) a lot. Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) & Sichuan Hot Pot (四川火鍋) are both among my favourite dishes of all time.

Two of my biggest comfort foods are Zòngzi (粽子) & Dòujiāng Yóutiáo (豆浆油条). They are very nostalgic and remind me a lot of my childhood.

My favourite colours are black, red, and pink.

My favourite books are The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde, 1890) & Demian (Hermann Hesse, 1919).

I don't watch TV. I am very uncultured when it comes to TV Shows & Films. I've never even seen Titanic.

Because I moved around so much growing up, I didn't really make many friends or socialise much. I blame my introversion and chronically online-ness on this. (Also this blog is low-key high-key an excuse/motivation for me to force myself out of my comfort zone by interacting with people.)

I love bugs, but I am afraid of wasps+hornets, centipedes+house centipedes, butterflies, & moths. Pretty much every other bug is chill in my books, though. I think spiders are hella cool, but I keep my distance just in case.

I used to be an active kpop thread account on instagram but somehow gave up on it. Recently I started simping for cheol all over again so I'm back as a kpop fan.

I'm Singaporean.

I've been a kpop/kdrama fan since 2017.
