Just heard about Google Stadia. I don’t know what to say. every interaction I had with it, it was a veritable ray of sunshine. I still remember sitting by the lake, tracing reeds across the water’s surface, and promising that those beautiful days of summer would last forever..

Days of Summer Got Replaced???

Okay, this actually happened to me awhile ago before I'd started this blog but I just remembered and now I wanted to know if it happened to anyone else.

Did anyone's download of "Days of Summer" from the Very Starkid Album ever just... change? Like I bought that album off the site when it first came out and then, some time ago (don't remember exactly when) "Days of Summer" just got... inexplicably replaced by this jazzy elevator-music-esque track? With some woman singing "ooooh you're my only one, my only one" over and over again while someone plays an admittedly neat saxophone track? Like, the album art was still the same, the file was still called "Days of Summer" and everything. The song had just swapped over into something different, like a little changeling child left behind by the fae. I ended up renaming the file "Not Days of Summer--JAZZY" (I've yet to figure out what the changeling song is even called, but I still have it. Comes up on shuffle from time to time) and re-downloading the actual song.

It was just a very odd thing. Did this happen to everyone else? At the time I didn't know any one else who owns the album to ask. Maybe Starkid said something on the socials and I missed it?
