What's better than a DILF? A MILF, of course!

The moment Killer Moth rocks up on the rogue scene, Firefly lost their mind;

"He's a bug and he's hot? Perfect!" So Lynns happily started following Drury around in hopes of catching his attention.

Also if anyone is wondering yes, Lynns wings are different, I finally looked at a real firefly (like I should have done from the beginning). I'm so happy to be able to share a picture of these two together. Working on their ship name, I'm quite torn....

Little known fact is that I am a big Firefly fan (fell in love with 2004 Firefly) so I had to redesign them for mine and @/heavenhotline's new Batman AU

OC idea: Benjamin “Benji” Blazedale, son of Garfield Lynns (Firefly) and Dr. Jane Blazedale. After Garfield became Phosphorus and was remanded to Arkham, Benji ran away from the foster care system at age 15. He snuck into his dad’s old hideout and stole the Firefly equipment for himself. He planned to use it to commit thefts and robberies to survive until he could maybe afford college or a trade school, but he found himself unable to follow through the first time he actually tried a robbery. Since then, he’s operated somewhere in the same moral ballpark as the Red Hood, though he doesn’t have the stomach to kill any criminals.

Benji learned pyrotechnics from his dad and technical engineering from his mom. He’s always loved tinkering with pieces of small machinery, taking them apart and putting them back together to see what makes them tick. After a lot of experimenting, in fact, he even manages to redesign the Firefly jetpack to be more compact and efficient. Even after Lynns got arrested, Blazedale continued supporting Gotham’s supervillains behind the scenes with tech, since she still needed to put food on the table for two people.

Benji also has some friends among Gotham’s supervillain scene, like Victor Fries (through Dr. Blazedale’s work) and Selina Kyle (through living in East End), among others.

Once Benji decided to start acting as a vigilante, some of his relationships among Gotham’s underworld became a lot more strained. And an initial misunderstanding from Batwoman and Red Robin doesn’t help much on the other side of the fence.

Benji keeps the name Firefly as a vigilante. Outside of changes made for the sake of practicality, Benji also updates the suit’s design to more closely resemble the Firefly suit from The Batman (2004).

Benji does establish a good working relationship with Huntress and Catwoman, and his friendship with Victor Fries stays intact so long as Firefly stays out of Fries’s business. Benji also manages to befriend the Spoiler, mainly over the common C-tier supervillain dads situation.
