One Jonathan Crane redesign done + a bloody version, how fun!

Hope it was well worth the wait ^^

Spent 9 hours on this because I didn’t know what I was doing and foolishly didn’t plan properly.

Presenting the fabulous Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy!! My interpretations of them at least! This was such a blast to do, it's so fun to re-imagine characters. More info on them under the readmore!

Harleen Quinzel was a young university student studying to become a psychologist when she fell into a whirlwind romance with her professor. Said professor was secretly the Joker, who was in disguise after his latest near-death in an attempt to let the heat die down. He noticed Harley's intelligence, anger and traumatic background, and decided to try a little experiment with her. A year later she was breaking him out of Arkham and committing murder, after being kidnapped and mentally conditioned to trust the Joker and crave violence. The Joker is good at manipulating her, but he often gets distracted by other things, or forgets his plans for her, leaving Harley chances to try and wiggle out of his control.

Pamela Isley was experimented on by a mad scientist, along with several others who sadly did not survive. Tortured and abused, when her powers fully manifested she wasted no time in killing him and escaping. Now she lives in Gotham, having taken over an entire neighbourhood. She uses most of her powers remotely, so no one yet knows whose responsible for her 'Eco-terrorist' actions. She's deeply afraid of relying on her powers, which seem to corrupt her the more she uses them. Her powers are almost unmatched at her fullest form, which resembles a giant kaiju more than a human, but she's barely conscious by that point. She has a hard time interacting with others, and mostly spends her time alone.

working on my jason todd redesigns!! here's his robin costumes. i wanted to have two costumes because i wanted one to capture the more classic robin look and one to be more of a realistic + modern look. i had a lot of fun with these! i never draw kids so this was a challenge but i enjoyed it.

i have some more detailed red hood designs coming up, incl. body type + scar locations and stuff. im also working on a lineup of all the designs together and MAN he grew a ton.

MORE DC REDESIGNS! this time its the batgirls :3

Cass: Shes just my fav DC character i love her so much, i combined her Orphan and Batgirl outfits, using the yellow accents, adding in the spiked gloves that usually only bruce has, and the big symbol on her chest. I tried to lean into her being fucking terrifying, she is a silent demon, she’s the one thats only talked about in hushed voices, half urban legend, a small shadow with no features that never speaks, and unleashes insane amounts of violence. I gave her the hood and tattered cape to lean into that idea, and then gave the hood the pointy little ears bc its cute. I also gave her exposed fingers because of her back ground as a martial artist.

Steph: oh i had a bunch of fun with this one! i combined her Spoiler and Batgirl designs again just bc both have such fun elements. I took a lot of inspo from her future state design as well, taking the eyepatch and her just generally being more buff and imposing, the exposed upper arms where my touch, just to differentiate her design more from the other batgirls.

Babs: this one i probably changed the least, mostly being based off her most recent canon design simply bc its absolutely amazing. I tried to keep it look more homemade, or if not homemade, something that could be assembled out of separate pieces instead of a suit of armor, thats something that’s really central to her design and i really like. I gave her a laptop bag to lean into the hacker side.
