a fun recurring dream
i had this dream once that keeps coming back. i SWEAR its a tv show or something
so, there's these 4 little dinosaurs, right? There's an optimistic struthiomimus, a goofball triceratops , a smart pteranodon who happens to be very intelligent and resourceful, and a female girly t-rex, who happened to be the oldest, as well as a vegetarian, explainin why she was so well liked. I forget their names, and i don't want to taint the dream by making some up. all i know is the t rex had a pun name where her name started with a T, and "rex" was like "rexalina" or something equally as dumb. now that i think about it, i think it was "Tina Rexalina", which would make sense if you could see how this looked.
Anyway, The dream starts with them walking through a jungle wondering what adventure may find them. they hear about an island close to theirs on the other side of a mountain range, and decide to investigate it. The pteranodon pulls them across on a log attached to a vine, but a mosasaur almost eats them. the log is destroyed and the dinosaurs are stranded after a very hasty, panicked escape. After catching their breath, they decide to explore, but the t-rex gets distracted by a beautiful patch of flowers and stops to put a flower on her head. She soon realized she had been left behind. She began to call out for her friends, but that only attreacted the attention of a hungry quetzalcoatus, who scooped her up and flew away to make her its dinner.
The other three dinosaurs realize their friend was no longer following them. After waiting a while to see if she would catch up, they decide to look for her. They retrace their steps and find that her footprints ended at the flower patch they passed roughly an hour ago. After asking a passing ankylosaurus and describing the t rex, he nonchalantly says he saw a giant quetzalcoatus the locals called "Deagon" (not dragon, Deagon) carrying a flower-wearing t rex about their age by the tail. Realizing their friend is in grave danger, they rush to find where the Quetzalcoatus could have taken her. They ask around, and they keep getting odd responses, like "Oh, i saw them head northish-southy-west", or "not that way", and the pteranodon has no luck searching the air due to trees making it difficult to get the lay of the land or spot any landmarks.
the trio split up to cover ground, hoping it will help shorten the search. Eventually, the struthiomimus finds a battered pink flower on the ground, similar to the ones at the flower patch. however, the flower had a bite taken out of it. As a large shadow passes over them, they look up to see Deagon the Quetzalcoatus flying away in what they perceived to be a triumphant manner. The group realizes that they were too late in finding their friend and mourn her, deciding to leave the island and never return. However, upon arriving home (how? lazy writing!), they're confronted by the T-Rex's parents, saying they have to bring her back home before dinner, or THEY will be dinner.
They decide that they have no choice but to live on the island they vowed to abandon. long the way, they wonder if they'll become Deagon's prey. The struthiomumis, for the first time becoming a pessimist, says that he hopes so. They arrive back on the shore, and resign to just walking the wet sands. It was then that the Triceratops, who never wanted to look up again, noticed that there were t rex prints in the sand, wandering away from the jungle and down to a bunch of rocks where they could see smoke. They realize their friend is still alive, and was probably looking for them the whole time. they find her with a pile of fruit, and a bright orange tropical flower on her head. Upon seeing them, she spits out her fruit, and proceeds to chew them out. They explain how they thought she had been eaten by Deagon, finding a damaged flower. She apologizes for worrying them and laughs it off, saying they saw Deagon flying away because she gave the quetzalcoatus a good whack on the nose, and saw them heading to the beach, and that the flower got damaged because she tried to throw it at Deagon, who simply chomped it and threw it off the nest. They all hug each other, they return home, roll credits.

How to Extend the Life of your Hot Water System Brisbane
As houses start to age, there are certain maintenance issues that need to be attended to. Examples include air condition, window seals breaking, garden maintenance with weeds growing and more. It is very common that people ignore maintenance on their Hot Water System Brisbane. This can result in replacement of the system every 5-6 years.
Hot Water System Brisbane – Replace the Anode every 2 Years
There is a solution to extend the life of your Hot Water System Brisbane. By replacing the anode every 2 years you could almost double the life span of the system. The best part of all this is that you don’t need a plumber to replace an anode. You can do it yourself. I know what you are thinking… what is an anode? An anode is the long metal rod that runs from the top of the Hot Water System Brisbane to the bottom.
There are massive savings to be made by replacing the anode every two years. To put this into a simple equation, if we say that on average a Hot Water System Brisbane is replaced every 5 years and we can double that to 10 years by replacing the anode every two years:
anodes cost about $50
4 anodes will cost about $200
approx cost to install a hot water system $500
Using this method, you will save about $300 + the cost of a new Hot Water System Brisbane every 10 years + a whole lot of headache. Not bad!
Hot Water System Brisbane – How to Replace an Anode
To replace an anode is no big job. Anodes are available to purchase from most hardware stores. Follow the steps below to replace your Hot Water System Brisbane anode:
Turn off the water going into the tank and also turn off the power supply for the tank.
You need to drain approx 12-16 liters of water from the tank
Use a socket wrench to remove the existing anode.
Install the new anode. Its recommended to wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the new anode. Be sure to tighten it with the socket wrench.
In four easy steps, you have just saved yourself hundreds of dollars for not much fuss. Be sure to tell your friends and family about this little trick so they too can save money!
Hot Water System Brisbane – How an Anode Works
The science behind it is the anode is sacrificial metal that attracts contaminants in the water.  Hot water systems start to leak when the glass that lines the inside of the tank eventually cracks exposing the metal casing which eventually rusts through.  The problem is that when the anode wears down after a couple of years, the contaminants are free to attack the metal tank.

Five Common Reasons For a Blocked Drain Brisbane
Blocked drains are a common and annoying problem experienced at some stage in almost every home and business. There are a number of reasons that drains will block and often the immediate symptom of the blockage is treated and not the underlying cause.
The five most common causes of blockages are:
1. Blocked Drain Brisbane Causes – Strange objects or debris
Choked or blocked drainage can occur when foreign objects or materials such as hair or soaps, fats or food build up and become caught between the drainpipe and the pipes that flow underneath the home. At first the material may not fully block the drain, but over time materials will continue to collect which will prevent water from flowing freely and could eventually cause a blockage. Toilets regularly block up due to too much toilet paper, sanitary items and even nappies being flushed down the pipes. Young children are often the culprits for blocked toilets and drains. They have been known to flush a full roll of toilet paper, a kid’s toy and even the toilet brush. A blocked toilet is very unpleasant and requires immediate action.
2. Blocked Drain Brisbane Causes – Big rains or storms
Outside drains may become blocked after storms or heavy rain downpours collecting leaves, dirt and other matter that can build up and block drains. Blocked drains during heavy storms are very common as they are generally not designed to manage huge volumes of water. Blocked outside drains can cause flooding and damage to homes and businesses.
3. Blocked Drain Brisbane Causes – Damaged pipes
Another cause of blocked drains can be a damaged pipe. If a pipe is broken the water cannot flow freely and it may collapse, causing the drain to have a blockage. The most usual causes of broken pipes are poor installation, age and tree roots. Tree roots cause huge damage underground and these types of blockages may require detailed investigation of underground pipes to identify where the problem is occurring. Underground pipe repairs can be disruptive and expensive depending on how difficult it is to access the problem area.
4. Blocked Drain Brisbane Causes – Incorrect pipe installation
With the dramatic rise in popularity of do-it-yourself (DIY) repairs and home renovations, there has been a large increase in poorly installed plumbing and drainage pipes. Pipes may become misaligned or completely collapse if not properly installed. Choosing the right pipes is an integral part of any plumbing job and so it is vital that you have a full understanding of the pipe work required to do the job. Incorrect installation is not only dangerous but could also damage other parts of your or your neighbours’ property, causing great expense to you and them.
5. Blocked Drain Brisbane Causes – Water flow problems
Water does not flow uphill and drainage is all about gravity. Incorrect pipe installation with inadequate falls could contribute to the build up of particles and debris and could eventually result in a blocked drain. It is important that pipes are installed correctly to ensure adequate water flows. Drains become blocked for a wide variety of reasons, so it is important to understand what the underlying cause of blocked drainage is. Blockages can build up over a period of time and you may get some early warning signs that there are some obstructions to the water flow. These include gurgling sounds after you flush a toilet, the water level in your sink or bath draining very slowly, and bad smells from sinks or drains.
Some blockages can be easily cleared using a plunger; however treating the symptom may not address the underlying causes of the drain blockage. If you have ongoing drainage problems or need to repair or lay drains, the best practice is to call a professional plumber. Using a professional plumbing service will ensure the job is done properly and save you money in the future.
For all your plumbing work, you should consider using a professional plumbing business such as Local Plumber Brisbane
