Suptober Day 1 - Liminal

As a Reaper, Castiel exists in the spaces in-between and only interacts with the souls transitioning between life and death. Suffice to say, it’s a lonely, repetitive job. The dead and the dying rarely make particularly vibrant companions, and Cas seldom has any cause to interact with his siblings.

Whenever he starts feeling discontent with his eternal job, he tries to remind himself that guiding souls into the next life is a worthy cause, unlike the angels lazing in Heaven, hatching their plots and bemoaning their absent Father.

And then, one day, something changes. One day, Dean Winchester dies.

It’s not the first time. The Winchesters are somewhat legendary in Reaper circles. Cas has heard his siblings whisper about them in his mind, sometimes disparaging or angry, other times awed and grudgingly admiring.

Cas is doing his usual rounds at a hospital somewhere in the United States — he had just finished sending a young woman with a fatal head injury from a traffic collision into the next world — when he feels another dying soul tugging at him.

In an instant, he is at another bedside, with another human whose time is almost up. This time, the dying soul belongs to a man. Cas understands that, by human standards, he would be considered attractive, but he’s never put much stock in appearances. What he can appreciate is his soul — the warmth it radiates fills the whole room, as does the pure white light it casts.

Unlike the others Cas has collected in this hospital, the man isn’t hooked up to any machines or dressed in a plain gown. Instead, he wears worn jeans, a black shirt and a plaid flannel, and a pair of heavy boots. Cas glances around the room, noting that it looks disused. Whoever this man is, he isn’t meant to be there.

It doesn’t take the man long to die — his heart is weak, barely beating. When it stops, the soul finally escapes the flesh it had previously been confined to and manifests beside Cas. The Reaper waits for the realisation and the questions that often follow.

The soul looks around, taking in his surroundings, before his eyes focus on Castiel. And then, he does something that no one has ever done to Cas before.

He smirks.

You got it gorgeous! I saw some Destiel reblogging on your page and I've never written them but I love them as a ship so I thought I'd give it a try!

"Cas," Dean bit his lip a little too hard, struggling to control his face, "Wha-what are you wearing, man?"

"I told you not to call me 'man,' we're boyfriends, Dean," Cas sighs, rolling his eyes skyward like he's commiserating with Heaven over how frustrating Dean could be. "And it's my Halloween costume. Obviously."

"Is-" Dean snorts, struggling, laughter bubbling up as he tries to maintain a straight face, "-is it supposed to be a joke?" Across the room Sam presses his lips into a thin line, shaking his head slowly back and forth, letting Dean know he's being an asshole. Like Dean doesn't know. He knows.

"You said Halloween was for dressing up like what you want." Cas says evenly, staring back and forth between their matching jackets, plaid button ups and thick soled boots. "I dressed up like you, because you're always what I want."

All the laughter drains away from Dean's face and he hears a soft gasp as Sam sucks in a breath across the room. "Oh." Dean says softly, chest suddenly filled with a warm melty feeling. "...oh."

Hooking one finger through Cas's - actually they're probably his pants - beltloop, Dean tugs the angel forward, right into his space. Cas doesn't even lift his hands to stop the forward motion, doesn't try to defend himself because he trusts Dean fully. He just lets himself be tucked in against Dean's chest.

"Guess I should go put on a suit and a backwards tie, then, shouldn't I?" Dean whispers against Cas's lips, his smug smile curling the corners of his lips up, denting his cheeks with dimples and smile lines.

Cas nods in agreement. "Or we could just both take off our clothes and pretend it's our birthdays." He says it so earnestly, eyes wide with what might be feigned innocence, that Dean is completely smitten, as usual.

There's a loud groan, then, "That's not what that means." Sam makes a gagging sound but wisely leaves the room.

me watching supernatural: i am completely normal about this show, and my theories are normal, boring theories me watching chuck in 'galaxy brain' turn on the tvs and point DIRECTLY at an image of dean and cas: WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN????? (he says THE WORLD and it shows DEAN AND CAS. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?)

anyway, i feel like people did not like galaxy brain when it came out? but i GREATLY enjoy this episode. and how are cas and jody only just NOW meeting in person? boring! cas and jody are ACTUALLY hunting besties and then they watch romcoms together after the hunt is over. jody paints cas' nails.

(why did they lose the wardrobe budget in s15? i swear to god, sam wears the exact sam plaid shirt in like. five episodes. and it's an UGLY shirt. there. i said it.)

this conversation between dean and cas where cas says "i was RIGHT" feels like a little gift from bobo to me. he and dean are on a DATE night! they're having a nice midnight drink and they're talking about their kid! cas' smile here is so FOND when he looks at dean, and i am WEAK for him.

castiel, master strategist of heaven, allowing his kid to beat him at connect 4. my HEART! once again, bobo gives me a little kiss on the forehead, just for me. (cas plays BOARD GAMES! with his KID!)

"winchester dumb" seems an appropriate moniker also when did all the reapers become bitchy tattletales? this is lame. bring back tessa! bring back jessica!

cas backs me up in the idea that cas and claire are not actually that close! it always bugs me when i read canonverse fics where claire and cas are super super close because! i do not think that is ever going to happen! i think that she comes to some kind of peace with cas, but she's never going to be fully comfortable with him! and it hurts cas to acknowledge this because he DOES have dad/paternal feelings of responsibility towards her, but she's NEVER going to give him the dad/daughter feels that he wants. (that being said, cas is claire's dad forever and always in au fics)

i remember when this episode aired, how HOPEFUL it made me. because if we could spend an episode in the final season to rescue kaia, then what did that mean for cas? OBVIOUSLY the parallels were set up! cas and kaia were parallels for each other, and these two characters were trapped in a horrific world, so CLEARLY since kaia was rescued... you see where i'm going with this? (and then it DIDNT' happen)

this is for harmless silly fun, also what is a time line?

John Winchester crawls out of hell...nods to his kids...and then instead of heaven, finds himself in the bunker (he finds out what it is later) during a get together of sam and dean, their families and kids, and various friends.

Dean's family consists of Him, Cas, and Benny (returned with Sam from Purgatory)

Their kids are Emma (Sam found her as a baby in purgatory and still feeling horribly guilty over her death, brings her back through, without the amazon magic/forced growth, she reverted to infancy. Dean cried when Sam handed her to him.

As of John's arrival she looks something like...

She has her amazonian strength and powers, only without the firced aging and whatnot she isn't bound to kill her father nor does she want to. (except when he makes her eat vegetables) She and Gertie are best friends. Dean gave her the middle name Karen, in honor of Bobby's late wife.

Cas, Dean, and Benn have also adopted a little boy, who's parents were the victim of a Djinn. They didn't mean to keep him but...Dean is and always will be a sofite for small chidlren.

Joseph "Jo" Robert Winchester

John is not okay...how is his good, obdient soldier son married to a damn vampire, an "angel" and one of his kids isn't even really human?

Sam's marriage is even more perplexing (upsetting/infuritating) to John.

Sam himself...John wants to take a a pair of scissors to his younger son's head so badly...

No, this kid of his is "married" to three people. He and Dean both claim their multi-partner marriages are accetable by virtue of being "married by God"

Sam's wife is a girl, she's nineteen, Claire Novak-Winchester, who weirdly refers to Dean, Benny, and Castiel as Pops, Papa and Dad...apparently she and Sam texted a lot and when she asked to him to go hunting with her after she graduated high-school...they fell in love. That would be...somewhat comprehensible...then his other two partners are men and one is supposedly both the Pagan God Loki as well as being the Archangel Gabriel and the other is Satan...fucking Lucifer. John's pretty sure if he wasn't still technically dead he'd have a stroke.

Even worse, before he got married, he'd had a breif fling with a 300+ year old witch Rowena and had a daughter with her. Mary-Ellen Winchester. He's the primary parent for her as Rowena was "well aware of her lack of motherly instincts"

Then apaprently after Sam andClaire got together properly with Lucifer! and Gabriel Claire had a baby with Satan. (in this world it just wouldn't make sense for Lucifer to purposefully have a child with a random woman) Claire is a big incredibles fan though so her baby's name is Jack James Novak-Winchester, and his nickname is Jack-Jack. With Lucifer and Gabriel supporting her and helping her Claire survived her pregnancy pretty easily. Jack-Jack wasn't planned but Claire decided to go ahead with the pregnancy as she figured the word wasn't presently ending, she was already pregnant, she was in a stable relationship and had plenty of extra parents and family to care for the baby even though she personally wants to keep hutning.

*in this world Lucifer was kinda just sad but impressed that Sam "beat" him. They hung out in the cage, Sam and Adam acting as family therapists for Michael and Lucifer. Michael was more...shell shocked over the failure of the apocalypse and that his father let this happen...by the time Death comes to retrieve Sam's soul they are all fairly okay with each other. Adam and Sam have bonded. Michael has gotten to the point where he can admit "father must have changed his mind" if not that God may have abbandoned them or not care anymore. It's only been 180ish years. Death is rather delighted that he doesn't have to block Sam's memories, as Sam, if a bit...odd from having had exactly four people to hang out with for nearly two centuries, is pretty stable. (He still finds having flesh and actual places to go weird at times). He is upset that Dean didn't think to "rescue" Adam.

So when Amara rises and they go to Lucifer's cage the intent is to see if Lucifer and Michael will help and get Adam out. Sam...had come to care for Lucifer during their cage time and Lucifer had said that he didn't feel an urge to destroy all human life anymore. It was still a mega show of trust that had Sam saying yes to Lucifer this time. Adam is perfectly fine serving as Michael's vessel, withour coersion this time.

Post God and Amara making up, with Samifer and Michadam honestly more refereeing the argument than actually doing much fighting.

God remakes Nick's body, now capable of holding Lucifer and young john winchesters that Sam and Adam might be free. Adam, who is happily in love with Michael just laughs and laughs over getting to finally have some "daddy" issues of his own.

Gabriel is rescuded from Asmodeus and he and Lucifer reforge their bond. It's actually Claire who gets Sam to admit his mega in love with both angels.

Adam and Michael are dating.... (John doesn't quite know how to look a his youngest child...)

Kevin and Samandriel are together with their own rescue baby. There had been a haunting that Kevin found on accident. The little girls parents survived...but...they weren't very good parents. (hello sad beige parents who viewd their child as more of an acessory than as a human) Dean had jokingly called the girl "Kevin Jr." when he came back with her, the little girl barely verbal due to ghost and parent trauma. From then on she refused to be answer to any other name.

Mrs. Tran adores her granddaughter.

Garth and his family are attending.

John's even more alarmed when actual demon's are also in attendance. Abbadon, Crowley , and Meg. Meg makes kissy faces at him.

Episode 96: 5.14 My Bloody Valentine

Famine. We’re back to the Horsemen, the apocalypse, and learn some deep truths about Team Free Will. I think the most important takeaways from this episode are to remember that it was written and produced to come AFTER the episode that aired as 5.15 (Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid), and immediately before 5.16 Dark Side of the Moon. It makes so much more sense emotionally and for character continuity that way... thanks 2012 Winter Olympics for screwing it up lol.

The surface level read of Dean and Cas’s revelations in this one obscure a much deeper truth for both of them. Sam... is the most surface-level honest about his hunger. And it’s all agonizing!

Plus we learn some very painful things about John and Mary Winchester, and just how much Heaven meddled in their relationship. Which I find doubly fascinating now that we’re watching The Winchesters. We’ll talk about all of that and more, but there’s also a lot of bonus material for this one, because I’ve talked about all of this before, as well.

His fist raised, but something in Sam’s eyes changed. Dean could barely see through his blood-filled, blurry vision, but Sam’s fist fell and he jumped away. Dean watched in slow motion a giant hole opening, Sam and Adam falling. It was mere seconds, but for Dean it took hours.

Cas back to heaven, Bobby back home in South Dakota, and Dean alone. Bobby offered for him to stay, but he couldn’t. He could barely sit in the impala with how it reminded him of his brother, but the thought of remaining stationary made his skin itch and crawl. Sam, a constant pulse in his brain on repeat no matter where he was. Diners, motel rooms, laundromats.

Dean went so far as to drive to Colorado and camped in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The first night, he did sleep, but the next night that was chalked up to how exhausted he was. The third night, Dean could only think about the last time he and Sam had gone camping. The ground digging into his knees, even with a mattress pad laid out in their tent, Sam’s breathy moans, the feel of his cock buried in his brother’s ass, the sight of Sam’s sinewy back arching under his touch. It was a strange comfort.

Dean felt empty, hollow, and startlingly alone when he opened his eyes the next morning. He grabbed a backpack of supplies and began up a hiking path that followed along a burbling stream of crystal clear water. Dean stopped and squatted down to look into the stream, appreciating the soothing sound that was drowning out the constant barrage of Sam his brain kept throwing at him.

Voices, real voices, distracted him. He looked up the trail and saw two females making their way toward him, the brown-haired female talking animatedly about the gorgeous view from the outlook they were hiking down from. A tan and green plaid scarf hung loosely around her neck and Dean was reminded painfully of the color of Sam’s eyes.

“Got a problem, dude?!”

Dean had been staring unknowingly, mind lost in the soft hazel of Sam’s loving eyes the last night they’d spent together in bed. He held up his hands in an apologetic gesture and said, “sorry… Sorry, I just spaced out.”

He quickly stood up and started up the path again as the blonde made a disgusted scoff. He felt embarrassed, but his mind quickly swept up his thoughts into memories that immersed him deeply into the understanding of how lost and isolated he felt. The last time was when his dad had disappeared and Sam was at college. Dean wasn’t sure how long he walked the path, but the sun was directly overhead when he came across the outlook point the woman had been talking about. It was a large open space, overlooking a vast portion of the national park.

He walked right up to the guard rail and scanned the expansive forest and mountains. A wide river flowed through the valley below, cutting a path as far as he could see. The view truly was breathtakingly beautiful. It’d be so easy to just step over the guard rail and fall, just as Sam had fallen. The view was almost as beautiful as Sam, it would be a great last view of the world. Dean took a quick step back, bewildered at the intrusive thought. The feeling of emptiness would be gone, though. He wouldn’t have to be alone, make decisions, or deal with the overwhelming grief that was swallowing him whole.

What was he without Sam anyway? Sam; brainy, creative, selfless, and clever. What was he? Quick-tempered, borderline alcoholic, impulsive with a knack for getting himself nearly killed. A follower that was completely paralyzed, unable to make a move without someone shouting directions and guiding him.

Dean stepped back up to the rail and leaned as far as he could, hands braced on the rail, looking curiously over the side of the cliff. It was easily a two hundred foot drop to the trees below if not more. He had a white-knucked grip on the guard rail and his heart started pounding erratically at the mere thought of a free fall. The instinct of survival warred with grief and depression, thoughts bouncing back and forth, pros and cons, like a game of ping pong. Grief was winning, chanting Sam and alone and worthless.

“I’m sorry, Sammy,” Dean choked, tears springing to his eyes. He wiped a hand across his face and continued, “you busted your ass, you lost everything, everyone... And your reward? Getting killed... On my watch. If I... It was on me. I should have done more, found another way… It should have been me, and... And there's nothing I can do to make that right. I am so sorry."

He looked down at his hands, still gripping the guard rail. A tear dripped from his cheek and splashed on his knuckle. He took his backpack off and set it down on the ground, then cautiously, carefully, he stepped over the rail, turning so his hands were still gripping it. The space between it and the cliff edge was so small that over half of Dean’s boots were hanging off. He was still staring at his hands; all he had to do was let go of the railing. Let go, and be free.

“Wait! Stop!”

Dean jerked his head up, a park ranger was sprinting toward him. He released his grip, pushing away from the rail. He briefly saw the park ranger still running toward him, mouth moving like he was still yelling, but the only sound he could hear was the blood rushing through his veins; like when he held seashells against his ear on the beach. His heart was beating faster than it ever had before, like it was trying to get as many beats in as it could before it died and Dean stared up into the sun-filled sky as his stomach seemed to plummet faster than his body. He felt strangely euphoric, though, with the amount of adrenaline-powered fear coursing through his body. He closed his eyes.The last thought that crossed his mind was to wonder if this had been what Sam felt.

“You irritate me, you know that?”

Dean snapped his eyes open, disoriented, and looked around. He was sitting at a table in a small diner across from Death, who was taking a bite of a burger. Dean looked down at the table and saw there was a burger and fries in front of him too.

“Eat.”

It wasn’t a request. Dean picked up the burger and took a bite. The taste was familiar, a long distant memory that he couldn’t quite pull to the surface. His stomach churned uncomfortably and he set the burger down, forcing himself to swallow.

“Y-You’re here to reap me?” Dean asked, breaking the tense silence.

“No.”

Dean was taken aback, his mouth opened and closed, trying to form a coherent sentence.

“Stop that. You look like a fish out of water. It’s unbecoming of you, Dean.”

Dean snapped his mouth shut, but threw Death a petulant glare in return. He watched Death eat the rest of his burger in silence, unsure of what to say or do.

“I told you to let your brother fall into that fiery pit.” It was a statement of fact that didn’t make Dean feel any need to open his mouth; he waited for Death to continue. “The one time I decide to do you a favor, trust that you’ll fulfill destiny, you go and try to kill yourself.”

“Give me a break!” Dean snapped angrily. “I spent my whole life fighting that crap. There's no such thing as destiny. Just like-”

Dean’s voice died in his throat as Death raised his eyes to Dean’s and widened them as though daring him to finish his sentence.

“Not hungry?” He asked. Dean shook his head, staring at the tabletop. “You have so much fun wrecking the natural order. I wonder if you would change if you were the one who had to clean up the mess.”

Dean glanced up, but looked away from Death quickly.

“You and your brother,” Dean looked back up to Death who was speaking in a slow, dangerous tone, “are an affront to the balance of the universe and you cause disruption on a global scale,” Death hissed the last few words, eyes flashing in anger; Dean recoiled slightly, eyes wide.

“I…Apologize for that,” he whispered in a fear-filled voice.

“I need you to continue to do what it is you do, so I’m going to do you a favor to keep you from making another half-cocked decision that’ll damn the universe.”

Death stood.

“I always thought I was insignificant to you,” Dean blurted out before he could clap a hand across his mouth.

A mirthless smirk flashed across Death’s face, “Well. Guess you learned something today. It’s about the souls, Dean. You’ll understand when you need to. Now, I’m going to do you ***one more favor. Try not to squander this one.”

Death touched his ring with the opposite hand and Dean suddenly toppled over on the ground. He scrambled to his feet, head whipping around. He was about thirty feet from the outlook point he’d thrown himself off of. The park ranger was still leaning over the railing, his back to Dean.

His heart was thudding almost painfully in his chest and Dean felt an ominous sense of foreboding from Death’s words. He scowled to himself, he truly didn't have a decision that was his, solely his; free will really didn't exist for him. Had it ever? Probably not, but to have it so blaringly thrown in his face stung.

The park ranger turned around, speaking into his radio asking for backup. They looked up at each other at the same time; Dean’s eyes widened in realization and the ranger shrieked.

“You! You just-” he gestured frantically at the railing. “HOW?!”

He walked forward purposefully and the park ranger moved away from him in fear. Dean grabbed his backpack from beside the railing and slung it over his shoulder. Then he looked at the ranger, seeing fear and confusion on his face.

“Apparently it’s not my choice and it’s not my time to die,” he deadpanned.

Then he turned and sprinted as fast as he could back down the trail. No one would ever believe the park ranger, he reasoned. Normal people didn’t magically appear out of thin air. Dean had accepted that he wasn’t normal a long time ago.

He threw his camping gear into the impala as fast as he could, not wanting to run into the park ranger again. Tearing out of the park as fast as he could, Dean couldn’t think of where to go, so he decided to drive south until he decided; if he decided, he corrected himself.

SPNWIN 1x13 - Season 1 Finale Thoughts

I have avoided all spoilers, let's see how this goes!

Oh it starts with the flashback of John coming back from the army

He's just sitting there for hours apparently

"John Winchester?" HEY I KNOW THAT DEEP VOICE

John: "Sir, can I help you". He calls him sir! That must be so weird for Dean lol

OMG Dean looks like a sailor! He has a turtleneck!!!

…and he gives John the fated letter from Henry

BOBBY!?!?!?

"We're not supposed to meddle with things, idjit". Oh so it is heaven shenanigans?

I cannot deal with Dean wearing that outfit, it looks so very not him lol

"One last hunt, huh?" "One last hunt." hmmmmmmmmm

Oooh the title card is different. It gets sucked into some interdimensional thingy or something? Well, I like it.

Henry has a lead on "the guy", apparently some hunter named Joan saw him. And Mary doesn't wanna go to that one college. The future without hunting is scary.

John wears the bad red plaid!

If Mary leaves hunting, what does it mean for her and John's relationship? Will we ever find out

Carlos looking at that Dean pic again:"Whoever he is, he is ruggedly handsome" 😏 Everyone has the hots for Dean and who can blame them (gonna be awkward once they find out who he is though…)

So either Dean has to kill the Akrida (since he is "not of this earth") or Ada has to burn her soul with the crystal. Decisions, decisions.

Lata is gonna look for a way to save Ada's soul if she has to use the crystal. My girl is gonna find a way!

So Joan who knows about Dean is also dead(or whatever state they are in)? Or she is some other being. Interesting.

Wait, Joan threw Dean and the Impala through the Akrida portal??? And only John's journal is left? What's going on…

Joan is the queen ooooooh. Now it makes sense.

John, don't stop her monologue, I wanna know more about her being human once!

Joan: "Join me, OR DIE." Girl, that's no choice.

She does the finger snap and is gone. Interesting.

Y'all didn't know Lata is still in the clubhouse that just got raided by the Akrida? Bad oversight.

Lata actually attacking the queen with a knife, breaking her pacifist streak. Sadly it doesn't do anything.

Joan Hopkins lived in 1673, wanted out of hunting and that's why she turned on her own kind.

Joan: "I lost my parents, my brother, all my family to the cause. And then…I lost my William." ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I SEE

So because there was always more to fight, always a new apokalypse and all, Joan decided mankind is the problem. Because they always need saving and hunters are the ones paying the price….. That's one way to look at it I guess.

The monster essence drove her mad. Don't pump yourself full of monster juice kids!

Carlos having an amazing idea. Use the journal Dean left behind and the Osteum to get Dean back through the portal. Well let's go!

Poor Lata got posessed by the Akrida.

The Akrida were made by an "angry God" as a failsave to wipe out all existence. Yeah, that sounds like Chuck.

Damn, Ada had to use the crystal to save Lata. I mean it was obviously gonna be used but still :(

They can only bring Dean back from the monster world at midnight. Of course.

John, are you really trying to get Mary to stay behind because whoever is gonna face the queen is probably not gonna come back? My dude, this never works.

John:"If we save the world then you're free." Such a meaningful line for this franchise…

So Mary actually does stay behind. Oh well

THEY HAVE SWORDS. SPN definitely needed more hunters using swords!

OH SHIT THE QUEEN ALSO HAS A SWORD. And the Akrida too. So many swords!!!

They really got the Impala through the portal! …but no Dean apparently. Eh, whatever we got the car that is also not of this earth. Vroom vroom bitches

Joan says she wiped out all the MOL. Wait a minute…

BABY TO THE RESCUE. Run her over

…But the Queen opens the portal just in time for Mary to drive the Impala through. Oh nooo

John falling to his knees. I'm sorry I'm getting destiel flashbacks again.

…of course the portal opens up again and Baby comes back. But now with a suspicious figure driving. WHO COULD IT BE

Oh hey Dean. Mary isn't back though. Hmm

No, she was in the Impala for the dramatic reveal. Okay okay.

Dean: "She[Baby] kept us save. Of course, there's not a lot that can tear me apart. I'm already dead" DUN DUN DUN

Dean was stuck in the world between worlds. Like Limbo you mean

NOT AMERICANA *sobs*

Dean was going for a drive in heaven, with a detour through the ~multiverse~. But what was he looking for?

"I was looking for my family." Yeah, we all were during that terrible excuse of a series finale…

"See, I come from a long line of hunters.I guess I was hoping somewhere out there was a earth, that has a version where my family had a shot at a happy ending." So here we have it. That ending was not a happy ending and Dean is looking for a better one.

So the Akrida were one of Chuck's last creations. Shocker.

Dean: "Now that the Akrida are gone, you can chose your own destiny. Write your own story". I wanna see that CW, give me season 2!!!

JACK!!!! OMG IT'S JACK. And Bobby again too.

Bobby: "This is all kinds of weird. Seeing Samuel witha full set of hair" LMAO

Dean is all "Sorry Jack I meddled with world. Guess I don't deserve heaven. I'm definitely not saying you should put me back on earth" lol

So Dean is gonna give other world John his own hunter's journal. THEY CAN USE THAT IN SEASON 2

Dean to Mary: " I know you think about quitting hunting. Believe me I understand. But you need to do me one favor. Keep an eye out for a yellow eyed demon" DEAN JACK SAID NO MEDDLING

He gives her The Colt!?!??! DUDE

Mary: "Your family…did you ever find a world where they had a shot at a happy ending?"

Dean looking at all of them "I think I did."

James Heffield(Hepfield? Jensen stop mumbling!). Is this some significant kind of name Dean is using?

And they are gone. Maybe we'll see them again…

Lata did find a way to restore Ada's soul. The mighty LORE strikes again.

Mary saw every possible version of herself going through the portal but she's gonna find her own path.

John: "Do me a favor?" "Anything." "No Goodbyes"

But one last kiss

John is all sad while the others talk about the next case. But look, Mary is "not leaving here without you" (sorry). She wants John to come with her. ROADTRIP

They are in the car and want some music.

Hepfield was adamant on one thing "Driver picks the music…" Ah the famous line

That was it. Finale of season 1. I really hope we get a second season! I don't want to lose these characters yet :( I'm not entirely sure what to make of the whole Dean bit. On the one hand they did give me "the finale was not a happy ending" but then it's all about blood family again and not even a tiny, subtle mention of anything Cas related. I don't want to be too disappointed, since they gave us destiel parallels again but man I just miss Cas :((( I have to think about it more.

A poem I did for school (ofc I used the oportunity to Dean simp lol)

Dean Winchester

People don’t believe when I say that this character has made my life better in so many ways.

Crushed on an actor once and two years later I’m part of a fandom older than me, it might be weird, or even get me into a mental hospital but I don’t care

I’m in love with Dean Winchester

I’m in love with the way he does his hair, how he leaves his plaid shirts unbuttoned with a t-shirt underneath.

I love his smile, his smirk and the way his gorgeous green eyes light up at the thought of a diner and some pie.

I even learned to make my signature dessert, apple pie, because it’s his favorite

My mom says that when I talk about him, and my other fandoms so much is annoying and almost nobody understands me, and on bad days my mind tells me that it’s why I have no friends (even though I do) But I can’t help myself, I have this utter sense of adoration for him, more than any other character, in my life. And it’s not hurting anyone and it’s a good coping mechanism.

And how can I not adore him? I mean look at this man, a hundred and eighty five centimeters of pure heaven, he's sweet, he’s kind, and he’s confident, he’s loyal, no matter how hard life gets, he always keeps fighting.

“No matter how, we will find our way out of this shithole” And some days, that keeps me going, no matter how I will find my way out of this shit day

He’s always ready to help someone, especially kids, whether that be hunting a ghost possessing their house or telling bullies that if they mess with said kid, they mess with him.

I love the way he cares, the way his love is silent.

Silent everything, he observes yet has no problem holding a conversation, silent gestures of love, like stroking his partner’s hair while they watch TV, or buying them something and leaving it on their bed, he’s not intense in the way it’s annoying.

He’s masculine in a way that’s so pretty, in a way that he doesn’t even realize how much of a good example it makes him.

This man sets the bar for anyone to come.

And he isn’t perfect, no, he has issues like nobody else, but he pulls through.

So on my bad days, I think of his voice when he says.

“There’s a light at the end of the tunnel”
