Dating Ghost

I feel like if you dated ghost, at first he would seem a little cold around you? Like he wouldn't know what to do with emotional or physical intimacy. He doesn't give you the cold shoulder but he is so awkward at it at first.

Don't expect him to say I love you first, or even realises he loves you? Like before you guys start dating he is always around you, and picking to go on missions with you if your apart of the 114, but he doesn't seem to realize even though everyone around him does.

Once he starts getting comfortable with the relationship, he is like showing you off to everyone. You're like his prized trophy and he could not be happier. Like he's telling everyone all the time about you, and even your little accomplishments, god he loves you so much!

He will do things he doesn't want to do, if it means he gets to see a smile on your face? Like he hates christmas parties, but if you find yourself wanting to host one? He's already making a list of who's invited and what you might need. (He may even wear one of those ugly christmas sweaters for you but don't count on it.)

Physical intimacy? To him thats just even holding hands and it takes months for him to open up to you like that. But after he opens up, god hes all over you. In the mornings he's hugging you from behind. Never stops kissing you in public. He is disguting with his PDA, hes all over you all the time, and sometimes its cute and then other times your like "Simonnn stoppp" and he will... for 3 minuites-

He is so domestic when he is at home. If you need anything he is absolutely helping you. He will be your little apprentice when your cooking and everything. Sinks broken? He's fixing it. You are missing an ingredient for your food or baking stuff? He's on his way to the store to get it for you. You haven't been able to clean up the house? He's on his hands and knees scrubbing.

If you have a mental illness? He's helping in anyway he can. Even when he's away hes making sure your taking medicine if you're taking it, or reminding you about your therapist appointments. He is all over helping and doing his best to help make life easier for you even if just by a little bit.

Dating König

Literally what the fuck. He is the biggest god damn teddy bear you have ever seen. Out in public he is brooding and angry looking, but in private? He's on his knees doing anything you want him to do.

He is the biggest fan of soft touches. If you're out in public at the grocery store he's 100% rubbing his thumb over your knuckles, or just being sweet. He might brush your hair out of your face if it's in it or hindering your sight.

He will do your little routines and when I tell you it is hilarious to see this big beefy man, with a pink glittery face mask on his face, man its hilarious. When he's home he's doing your little haircare and facial care routines with you. He's oiling his hair, or putting face masks on, maybe even little cucumbers on his eyes. (of course you're taking pictures for blackmail.)

He remembers the little things about you. Sometimes when he comes back from missions he will have picked up something, or bought something that reminds him of you, or something you like. You had mentioned to him that you love forget-me-nots and you came home one day noy realizing he was home, and there was a bunch of pressed, perserved, forget-me-nots in a frame. (He ended up hugging you from behind and almost scaring you into dropping it a few seconds later but that's irrelevant)

He may not be super public about your relationship with him, but it is pretty obvious. When your out in public, he's behind you scaring the shit out of anyone who may bother you. You're his and he wants everyone to know that. Maybe you hang out with the crew one day and he has his arms slung around you, or wrapped around you in some way that screams "This is mine".

He may not actively always do things in the house, but he hovers around. He also loves to leave little things so that when he is gone you remember things that are important for you to do, he knows you have a bit of a bad memory.

Just like ghost, if you have a mental illness he is all for supporting and helping you. If you need someone to talk to he is holding you in his arms as you talk to him. He even makes sure your meds are always accessable to you, and helps in any way he can.

He’s immediately treating you like fragile porcelain

But god forbid If it's a fever or a more serious ailment, he's practically glued to your hip 24/7

Good luck getting any personal space during those times

He fusses over you constantly, asking if you need him to fetch you something, making sure you're comfortable

“Feeling any better, sweet girl?”

“Are you getting cold? Lemme just quickly grab your favorite blanket”

This man can cook, okay? So expect him to whip up all kinds of soups to make you feel better.

Don't you even dare to disrespect him by opening the fridge and trying to make a meal for yourself

But he’s so sweet afterwards, showering you with praise and kisses

Will 100% help you shower if you’re feeling weak

Even when you're not sick, he enjoys doing domestic things with you; it makes him feel fuzzy and warm inside

Michael refuses to put any distance between you in bed, no matter how much you protest that he'll get sick too

He'll wrap you securely in his arms and pull the sheets up to your neck

His huge hands gently caressing your skin and humming a soothing tune

As you start to feel better Michael feels a little guilty and selfish

Of course he wants his precious angel to be healthy and all, but he really gets used to taking care of you so intimately very quickly and wishes it could go on a little longer

You have to remind him that y’all live together and spend most of your time in each other's presence.

It doesn’t get any closer than that but he’s still pouting like a baby, saying he’ll miss taking care of you

HD HURT/COMFORT FEST RULES & GUIDELINES

Below are the rules and guidelines for HD Hurt/Comfort Fest participants. Please direct any questions or concerns to our ask box, or via [email protected].

HD Hurt/Comfort is an 18+ anonymous prompt-based fest that welcomes creations from both the angsty and fluffy ends of the trope spectrum. Accepted works include fic, art, craft, and podfic categorized as one of these three main tropes:

Interested in supporting fellow participants? Need to engage the services of a cheerleader? Want to lament about your difficult muse? Join our HD/HC fest discord community! Open to 18+ only.

PROMPTING

The prompting period is April 2 - 30.

You may submit as many prompts as you like. You do not have to create for the fest in order to post a prompt.

All prompts must be identified as one of the three accepted fest tropes: angst, fluff, or hurt/comfort combination. Any extra details are welcome. Please note, however, that these additional details are for inspiration only and creators are not obligated to adhere to them fully.

Self-prompts are allowed. There will be a space on the claiming form to add details for self prompts.

Prompts will be available for browsing as soon as prompting opens on April 2.

CLAIMING

The claiming period is May 4 - July 15.

Due to the nature of potential content, this fest is for participants aged 18 and over. Please do not sign up if you are not 18 by the time of claiming.

Upon signing up, you agree to the Rules and Guidelines of the fest.

Only one prompt may be claimed at a time. Prompts are assigned on a first come first serve basis. As such, should you have your eye on a specific prompt but are unable to claim it once claiming opens, a proxy is allowed to claim on your behalf.

If you fulfill your prompt with enough time before submissions, you're welcome to claim an additional prompt. We only ask that you submit your first work as per submission guidelines before claiming another.

Collaborations are welcome! Please only submit one claim form per collaboration and include the details of all participants.

Writer sign-up cap is set at 60. There is no cap for art, craft, or podfic.

If you wish to create art, craft, or podfic based on an existing fanwork, please submit it as a self prompt during the claiming period.

CREATING

All creations must fit into the ‘angst’, ‘fluff’, or ‘hurt/comfort’ categories. There are many themes that fall in line for fluff and angst, but below is a short list of suggestions to help inspire. If you have any doubts or questions about your theme(s), please reach out!

The main pairing for all creations is Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter. Participants may include any side-pairings, threesomes, and/or original characters, as long as the final submission is still a Drarry-centric piece. All ratings and archive warnings are accepted.

As this is an anonymous fest, please do not discuss your creations with anyone in a public forum outside the HD/HC Fest Discord, except for your alpha/beta readers and the fest mods until the reveals have been announced in September. Come join in our Discord fun here!

Ratings suggestions and additional details included for each prompt should be considered inspiration. Feel free to incorporate or ignore them as you see fit! Should you choose to gift your creation to the promptee, however, we ask that you honor any dislikes mentioned.

Please tag your works appropriately. Due to the nature of this fest, we want to ensure that everyone is informed of potentially triggering content. Please note, however, that all fluff entries must be HEA (Happily Ever After) and must not contain content that merits an archive warning.

Author and Artist Guidelines

We will not accept works created with AI.

For fics, the minimum word count is 1000. We have elected to implement a cap on fics of 60k.

All fics must be proofread and follow generally accepted SPaG guidelines. If you are unable to find a beta to assist, please reach out to the mods, and we can provide further guidance.

All fics are posted anonymously, however for art we allow artists to include watermarks on their creations if they so wish.

Podfic Guidelines

Podfics are most certainly welcome, as long as they fit into the 'angst', 'fluff', or 'hurt/comfort' categories! If you intend to podfic a work that you did not originally create, please make sure you get permission from the original author to record it.

For podfics, the minimum word count of the recorded story is 1000, maximum 60k.

All podfics must be proofed. If you are unable to find a beta to assist, please reach out to the mods and we can provide further guidance.

Podfics will be posted anonymously, but podficcers are allowed to state their name in the podfic recording itself (not within their notes on the post).

Drop Outs/Extensions

Throughout the creation period, we'll send a couple of check-in emails—one month and one week before submissions are due. You're welcome to ask for an extension at that time. You're also welcome to contact the mods outside of the check-in period via email or Discord at any point to request one.

We know life likes to surprise us with the unexpected, so please know that if you need to drop out for any reason, that's ok! Just please let us know as early as possible.

SUBMITTING

Once you have completed your work, it’s time to submit!

Submissions are due August 2. If you finish before this date, you are welcome to submit early.

All works must be posted directly [HERE] to the HD Hurt/Comfort Fest 2024 AO3 collection. Podfics should be linked to the original work using the AO3 ‘Inspired By’ function, i.e: “This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work” and pasting the URL of the original fic. Please contact the mods if you have any issues submitting your work.

Submissions must be complete works created for this fest. Please do not submit incomplete works or works that are a part of a series or a prequel/sequel to an existing work.

Due to the nature of content present in angsty creations in particular, we want to emphasize the importance of tagging. Please take care to tag for potentially triggering themes present in your work. If you have questions or need clarification on anything, please reach out to the mods, and we'll be happy to help!

Mods will also read through entries prior to posting to help ensure proper tagging. Should we believe any changes are necessary, we will reach out to you and ask you to make those.

POSTING

Entries will be posted starting August 23.

In an effort to provide comfort to the hurt, a balm to soothe the pain, we will strive to post creations as pairs—one angst and one fluff per day. Each paired creation will have a stand-alone posting, but will include a link to its contrasting creation.

Of course, it's difficult to ensure we've got exactly equal numbers of angst and fluff pieces, and we don't want to limit creators, so we recognize things will in all likelihood be a little unbalanced.

This is ok though! As mods, we'll do our best to arrange the posting schedule to ensure an even distribution of excellent content.

Additionally, while we will not release a public posting schedule, we will inform participants prior to their anticipated post date.

Once your creation has been posted please be mindful not to reveal yourself as the creator through the duration of anon postings. After the mod reveals posting in September, you are free to claim your creation in personal posts to your heart’s content. Tag us @hd-hurtcomfort-fest in your posts on tumblr and we will reblog from the HD/HC Fest account!

While we hope that it will not happen, sometimes creations receive negative comments. If you receive a nasty or critical comment, please contact the mods asap. We are happy to work with you to address the situation, and will only step in to deal with it if that is your wish.

GENERAL/FAQ

Is this an 18+ fest? Yes, this fest is only open to creators over the age of 18 by the time of claiming (May 4 - July 15).

I want to submit a MCD prompt, is that allowed? Yes! Major Character Death certainly counts as angsty content. Our list of suggested themes is only a small handful of ideas. So feel free to submit away! Also, be sure to select the ‘angst’ option when you submit your prompt.

I don’t want any hurt, only fluffy happy endings. Can my prompt be fluff only? Yes! Just be sure to select the ‘fluff’ option when you submit your prompt.

I love content that features both angst and fluff. Can my prompt be a combination of both? Of course! Just be sure to select the ‘hurt/comfort’ option when you submit your prompt.

Does my angst fic/art have to have comfort? No! You can write/create 100% angst, such as MCD, or pain & anguish without a happy ending if that's where your muse leads you.

What if I want to write hurt & comfort? Go for it!

I want to write/draw/create only cute & fluffy content, is that allowed? YES! We encourage creations of 100% fluff in this fest! Bring on all the meet cutes & sweet happy endings.

What if I don't want my entry to post with a corresponding [fluff||angst] piece? The entire premise of this fest is that angst and fluff pieces will get posted together. Although there will inevitably be an excess of one type of entry, resulting in slight augmentations to posting, there's no way we can make a fair commitment to post specific entries without a corresponding creation on the opposite side of the spectrum. We are happy to discuss your hesitation with you, but if you still have reservations, this particular fest might not be for you, and that's ok!

Oh definitely pda to the max. This man is all over you any chance he gets. He is so madly in love. His favorite way to show affection is through cheek/forehead kisses. He loves to pepper your face in them!

I think he’d fall first, but through you guys becoming best friends.

RE2 Leon Kennedy SFW Alphabet (A-M)

A/N: Just something I'm trying once again. Somewhat similar to what I did a few months back with the Genshin character hcs.

Warnings: None really, other than mentions of drinking in E.

Enjoy!

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

I'd say he's affectionate to a moderate degree. Not completely devoid of it, but also not totally clingy. I think he's a bit awkward, y'know? He'd definitely show affection by comforting or helping others when they're upset or stressed (or hurt), It's just in his nature.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He'd be a pretty chill best friend. Very typical "childhood guy best friend" vibe about him. The friendship might start before Raccoon City, most likely when you two were younger.

Though, if you were there to survive the incident with him, I think there would be a possibility of the relationship becoming something even more than best friends...

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Kinda tying into the affection one, he wouldn't really cuddle much if he didn't know you too well, but if he happened to be more comfortable with you, he'd be more than happy to cuddle with you if you asked him to.

He'd be pretty gentle with cuddling. Maybe in the form of casually slinging an arm around you while you two watch a movie, or laying in your lap while you play with his hair (I think he'd especially like that tbh)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Before Raccoon City happened, I think he envisioned eventually getting married to someone and having a kid or two. Now, he's not so sure he'd be ready for something like that after all that he went through.

As for cooking, I think coming from an Italian family, he'd be a really good cook. I can imagine a recipe or two may have been passed down to him before the death of his parents.

Cleaning on the other hand....oh boy. Honestly, I don't think he'd be a total slob, but I think he'd procrastinate on tidying up more than a few times...

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I think he would avoid being the one to do it. The last thing he wants to do is hurt you in some way, so unless he was certain you two were on the same page about it, he wouldn't want to break things off right away.

On a separate note, I don't think he handles being broken up with the greatest either (ie: coping by getting drunk and almost missing your first day of work *ahem, ahem*)

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He's very loyal so I think he'd have no particular problems about commitment if and when the time comes. However, he's only 21 and recently survived a zombie apocalypse, so I don't think getting married is the first thing on his mind at the moment.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He's a pretty gentle guy physically, but since joining the force, had developed thick skin when it comes to more dire or serious situations.

It takes quite a bit to get him emotional, though I feel like even in the years following the incident, he'd cry most often in private to avoid showing vulnerability around others.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He likes hugs but doesn't receive them often. He does, however give others hugs if they need them.

His hugs are very soft. He's got strong arms from training at the police academy, but he knows not to squeeze the life out of you lol.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He’d say it early on, but not too early. I feel like “I love you” would be something he’d first confess in the heat of the moment, though he’d also accidentally (and awkwardly) make implications that he likes you pre-relationship.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

For jealousy, I think he wouldn’t seem like the type of guy to get jealous, but you’d be wrong on that.

It’s another one of those things that builds up on the inside for him. He’d make subtle but snarky comments and facial expressions related to whatever he’s jealous about. Though, if you confront him about it, he’ll deny it.

“What? Jealous? I’m not jealous, what makes you think that?!”

“Leon, you’ve been pouting this whole time”

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I think he'd be a gentle kisser. He would also have soft, almost feminine lips, though I think they'd get chapped a bit easily too.

He loves kissing you on your forehead and cheeks the most. I feel like his ex wasn't super affectionate with him, so he feels most special being peppered with kisses on his face and neck.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Despite being an only child and probably growing up mostly around other adults, I think he'd be pretty good with kids for the most part.

He would seem a bit inexperienced, but definitely tried his best to become more experienced during the time he took care of Sherry.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Definitely wakes up early, it's something he does out of pure habit from having to wake up at the crack of dawn at the police academy.

Has trouble sleeping in on days he doesn't have to wake up early, though if he had it his way, he would.

As for spending it with him, I feel like he's the type of guy to force himself to go for runs in the morning. I can imagine that you'd be inclined to join him on occasion.

you grumbled some variation of this under your breath for several minutes straight while preparing the flight out to dantooine

and obi agrees

the two of you are being sent on a long-term operative mission. there's no daily wars or hard combat to face—it was more of a stakeout of sorts—but still, you had to stay alert. just in case

you were mainly upset at the fact that you couldn't relax in your quarters or with your family for the holidays

obi-wan, sensing your blues, decides that he's not going to let that ruin the festivities

you're staying in a quaint little home for the next few weeks. it's plainly, but relatively tidy

"there's a life day market in town! we can pick some food up there, and decorations, if you're up for it" obi had suggested, so that's what you end up doing

while at the market, which is bustling with people from all over the galaxy (you later find out that dantooine's life day market is one of the biggest there is), the two of you are mistaken for a married couple

but hey, the status gets you several discounts on fresh fruit

even after you leave the produce booth, he keeps his hand interlocked with yours

(and you like it. though you'd die before admitting it lol)

you haul several giant bags and baskets of supplies back to your place

(correction, obi-wan does most of the heavy lifting. you're only carrying the tree decorations so you look like a tangled bundle of color that has no start or end)

it takes you everything you have not to stare at how his arms flex when he moves things

you didn't realize obi had a creative side to himself, so when you let him take charge of decorating, you didn't know what to expect

but once the two of you finish decorating you're pretty amazed

the tree glitters with woven string lights and ornaments that look like stars plucked straight from the heavens, shining in hues of rose gold and ivory white

"it's so beautiful," you exhaled

"indeed, it is," obi-wan replied, but he wasn't even looking at the light fixtures (he was looking at you instead)

you're about to unpack the groceries and start cooking but he stops you in your tracks, placing his hands on your shoulders and giving them a gentle squeeze

"let me handle this, darling. i insist," he says—and you can feel your face growing warm at the term of endearment

so you sit down by the fireplace with a blanket around your shoulders and watch as he carefully cuts up the starfruit and places it in a porcelain bowl, dices the meat and vegetables, and pours hot chocolate (you made a mental note to ask him later which booth that was from) into two mugs

for a moment you get completely lost in the idea of living a peaceful, domestic life with him. one where you wake up every morning to the fresh smell of coffee and berries and are greeted with a tight embrace

but you're brought back to reality with the reminder that technically, you're on a mission right now, and you're both jedi

so no amount of wishing and praying will make any bit of that domestic life come true

"you've been so quiet," he suddenly speaks up

"just...tired," you reply, and it's the truth. the entire flight over, you didn't sleep a wink—you always had trouble falling asleep

he decides not to question you further—he knows what's bothering you; he always does

dinner is amazing as always—you're good at cooking, too, but your skills pale in comparison to what obi has

after you eat, you sit down by the fireplace, wrapped up in several thick blankets with steaming hot chocolate in hand

"how long has it been since you last saw your family?" he asks

"seven years," you say. "we write letters to each other, but you know, given my schedule, it's hard to pay them a visit. i hardly see them anymore..."

"i can be your family, then," he offers with a sad smile

and you feel your heartbeat pick up speed just a little

not because you're secretly in love with him...of course not lmao

but because he's always been here for you and continues to be

you lean against him and close your eyes and just. take him in

like. how does this man smell so good...

it's as if he bathed in every warm and comforting scent you could think of

and you can almost pretend that you're right back home in the arms of the one you love, and not millions of miles away on a foreign moon

(jokes on you, he is your new home)

you're not sure how long you stay cuddled up like that for, but you wouldn't mind if it lasted for the entirety of your mission

"you know i love you," he says quietly after he thinks you've fallen asleep, and he gently kisses your forehead

but you manage to whisper back an "i love you too" before drifting off

obi-wan finally feels at peace

& so do you

I qiuld like to kindly request some Kejax headcanons whenever you have the time to write some. Please and thank you.

Absolutely bro, absolutely.

Live together. Whether it's a shared barracks room or an apartment, etc. They're "roommates." (Oh my god they were roommates...)

Domestic as fuck. Very easy for them to be so because they room together.

They like to cook together at least once or twice a week, usually on Tuesdays because Keegan likes routine. And it doesn't have to be literal, like one of the measures an ingredient and the other adds it. They can just be in the same room together chatting as one of them cooks. Though they can obviously do it literally.

Another chore they like doing together; Cleaning. Another thing Keegan enjoys because it's scheduled, Saturdays, and a lot of cleaning is methodical. Ajax also likes it, but his satisfaction comes from knowing that they're doing similar activities. (Even if it's different chores. Ie, he's folding dish towels, and Keegan's doing dishes.)

On a similar note, Keegan just enjoys sharing a space with Ajax. He'll drift after the guy into different rooms in the house like an affectionate specter. And he's particularly keen on having some eye line to Ajax. Like if he's sitting on the couch he'll turn so he can see Ajax on the other end out of his peripheral/direct.

Ajax is aware of both the eye line and specter behavior, and does his best to accommodate by sitting somewhere where Keegan doesn't have to sit terribly weird to keep an eye on him, and he tries to stay in the room if he has to move so Keegan won't feel the need to get up and follow him. (Which would distract him from whatever he's doing.)

Ajax can also "weaponize" this however, like if he's worried about Keegan sitting in one spot/pose for too long he'll get up and move out of the room so Keegan will then get up and follow him, avoiding him getting sore from pretzel-ing himself. (He can just ask Keegan, but for whatever reason Keegan's stubborn to that.)

Ajax particularly enjoys decorating for the holidays (Ie, Valentines day) and Keegan adores making him happy, so it's very typical to see Keegan going nuts in a Home Goods or whatever around the holidays picking up home decor he think Alex would like. He's absolutely spot on with his picks too, because he's very very careful to study Ajax's preferred aesthetic for each holiday and then stick to that for the decorations.

Keegan fucking loves candles and Ajax does a similar thing to the "holiday decor search and destroy buy" thing he does. Makes very careful notes of what kinds of scents Keegan seems to be enjoying and then will buy him candles that he'd like.

Y'all remember that collie-dog ask? Well the cute girl is gonna be here now. Dog dads. They 100% dress her up in bandannas with matching collars/harnesses and shit. They have in fact gotten little photo shoots done with her and have photos of her all over the place. Keegan and Ajax both adore her to death and are absolutely such pains about her.

Matching. Outfits. All. The. Time. Dates, athletic wear, casual, even pjs. They love the kinda matching outfits where the color schemes are the same but the color placement is "inverted." (Ie, Keegan - black tank top, grey sleep shorts. Ajax - Grey tank top, black sleep shorts.)

On the topic of something pj related, Keegan will absolutely refuse to sleep (like he physically cannot.) unless he's touching Ajax in some way. Whether it's with his head on Alex's chest and burrowed into his side or just poking him with his foot during the hot months, he's gotta have some form of contact.

Partially Keegan being a brat, partially legit like psychological junk that he needs the reassurance that Ajax is there to be comfortable enough to sleep. If one of them is ever off on deployment without the other you can imagine that Keegan doesn't really get enough sleep and gets particularly grumpy until the regular sleeping arrangement is back.

Random rapid fire hc's Favorite date location: The movies. Get to snack, watch a film, cuddle a bit if the seating allows it. (Like holding hands, but also some movie theaters have double seats.) Favorite thing about the other: Keegan likes that Ajax is very clear cut with his emotions. Ajax enjoys Keegan's attention to detail. Favorite place to smooch: Ajax likes kissing Keegan on the forehead because he melts so easy to it. Keegan likes kissing Ajax on the back of his hand/knuckles cus he feels fancy and it makes Ajax laugh/smile like every time. Favorite cuddle: Face to face, hugging. Favorite physical feature of the other: Ajax falls victim to Keegan's pretty blue eyes. Keegan is a sucker for Ajax's biceps. (Buff arms)

what are some of your favorite headcanons for just the two of us?

Oh man, I have so many lol. I'm gonna split them into serious stuff (plot/character hc), cute stuff (pairing/shipping hc) and dumb stuff (they're idiots hc). This is definitely not all of them, just the ones I could think of tonight. Kinda spoiler-ish if you haven't read up to the most current Just the Two of Us chapters so be warned! Serious Stuff

Kaito as a hero archetype always fascinates me. I feel like he has this compulsion to help others, especially those he perceives as weaker or unable to protect themselves. I think that's why I portrayed his 'biggest fear' in the simulation as hurting the people he loves the most and losing control in a way that makes him become a monster. (Very fun to consider depending on your HCs about his pre-game personality ehehe)

Kokichi is a walking bundle of trauma. So much has happened to this guy and I'm sure it's been dissected by people smarter than me but like - compulsive liar? Tiny? Really good at hiding? Those weird little spacing-out moments he gets? Something bad happened to you, didn't it? Like, maybe not as BAD as what I've depicted, but yeah. Poor baby.

Shadow Child was created as a representation of both Kaito and Kokichi's 'inner children', specifically the darker and more traumatic parts of their childhoods. They are portrayed more often as Kokichi because his trauma is much larger and more pronounced, and therefore more influential in the subconscious part of the simulation. I don't know why I stuck with they/them pronouns for them, it just kind of felt right?

The leech was based on Kaito's subconscious fears of his death. The concept of this parasite that drained its host's life force felt fitting for a death fear sort of thing. It also represents the loss of control he feels over this aspect of his life. It kind of 'evolves' as it takes in influences from other people, but that's kind of its main framework.

Miu's Copy had a massive breakdown during the bathroom scene. It was kind of her last straw before she turned on the leech. She kind of reflected on what she knew about the original Miu, the contents of the simulation and how Kaito and Kokichi interacted and it made her realise how fucked up everything was and how much she did not want to participate. Also she was getting sick of all the edgy thoughts leech was putting in her brain.

Cute Stuff

Kokichi's favourite food never used to be strawberries, it changed after Kaito fed them to him and he got some sort of psychological association between strawberries and him.

On that note, Kokichi probably can cook, like, decently, but he kind of plays up his ignorance because he likes Kaito showing him how to do it.

Kaito is super super into domestic life lol he can try to pretend he isn't but he so is. Definitely got into a routine when they were stuck in the simulation for that year.

Being with each other for that year made them get a really close, almost psychic-ish bond that people get when they spend too much time with each other. It's how Kaito can pick up on when Kokichi is lying, for example.

After he overcomes the whole 'don't touch me' hurdle, Kokichi swings to the other side of the pendulum and is very clingy. Won't leave Kaito alone. It annoys him at first but it grows on him.

They have lots of petty squabbles but they usually don't last. They're not fantastic at apologising properly to each other, it's usually just settled through physical affection or gifts (food).

Dumb Stuff

Kokichi drank shampoo the first time he saw it because he thought it was a fruity beverage. That's why Kaito started washing his hair for him.

Kaito named all his plants. He gets offended when Kokichi forgets them.

Miu definitely had relations with her P.A.L self.

-They speak to each other often outside and within the umbrella. This also results in some comedic scenes where one can be seen getting smacked by a floating umbrella.

-It is not advised to take the umbrella from either as the results can become disastrous. Fan becomes numb and more hollow, like he is floating through water, while Xie becomes a wreck and becomes hostile quickly to anyone who took the umbrella.

-Both do not like remembering how they died, despite the fact they carry scars from it. For Fan it is mental scars, he gets freaked out near water and will hesitate. For Xie it is a physical scar, he can be seen rubbing at his neck like there is something tied to it.

-Off of a sad note and more happier note, the two are like lowkey parents to anyone and everyone. They are the oldest residents in the manor next to Hastur and Yidhra, they fill it is their right to guide the younger generation.

-For more like fluffy cute stuff! Xie and Fan like to cuddle each other, even if it means one has to cuddle an umbrella. They love to listen to the other's voice, and do small cute stuff for the other. Be it cooking, cleaning their room in the manor when they know the other has had a bad day, etc

-Just lots of domestic fluff stuff to be honest lol

God, I love me some Leon. He’s a strong, handsome, smart yet dorky man. What more do you need to love him?

Leon is a dorky husband. He loves you more than words can described, so it shows in his actions. You're woken up with kisses, his arms around you so he can roll you around in bed and pick you up. Your laughter and smile are his favorite things to wake up to, so he tries to get them out of you every single day.

You two usually make breakfast together, unless you or Leon have somewhere to be early in the morning. If he has to be somewhere, he'll make you coffee or your drink of choice, and leave a sweet note for you to read when you wake up. Then he'll go back to you, still sleeping, and kiss you without trying to wake you up this time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but he can't leave without kissing you

Leon doesn't care about you being stay-at-home spouse or if you work, but he does love it whenever you're home before him. He loves hurrying home, and hearing you shout "welcome home!!" as your footsteps echo, coming closer and closer so you can throw yourself into his arms. He loves nothing more, and nothing is better to him

Once you're both home, he wants to cuddle. He wants to put on a movie or show or whatever, and lie around with you. He wants lazy kisses and being able to stare at you with a loving, tender gaze as you laugh at something he said. It's his favorite state of being, lazy and happy and in love

When you two make dinner together, he definitely is the husband that holds your waist as you work. He presses kisses to your cheek, jaw, neck, trying to distract you so you burn whatever is on the stove so you two can order takeout and laze around some more. Or so he says, he just loves you and your laugh and being close to you as you do domestic things. He does the same when you're washing dishes or doing laundry too, he can't help it. He loves you.

Heartslabyul

Vacuums are native to this dorm, grazing on stray tea leaves and the occasional study guide left crumpled up under the couch by a certain red-haired first year. Sometimes, if you are still, you can hear the sweet purr of the wild vacuum as the vice dorm leader mumbles under his breath about cleaning up yet another mess because these children are SO ungrateful.

Savanaclaw

Vacuums are not native to Savanaclaw but domestic vacuums, particularly those maintained by a Mr. Bucchi and Mr. Howl, do thrive with some care. There is plenty for them to graze on, particularly after a sports watch party in the common area, and in the right hands they can live happily for years.

Octavinelle

Vacuums at first did not acclimate well to the dorm, with many dying to water related injuries, but after the dorm members discovered their usefulness a program to both rehabilitate and increase the vacuum population was implemented. Vacuums do nicely here, now, especially little, expensive German ones that can fit in tiny restaurant seat cracks.

Scarabia

The sand might be an indication that vacuums would not do well in this environment, but quite the contrary. The cleanly nature of the dorm paired with the abundant food source in sand makes the vacuum perfectly suited to Scarabia. You can find a great many vacuums in all different sizes and colors in this dorm.

Pomefiore

All vacuums in Pomefiore are both domesticated and imported. That being said, a vacuum can live many, many years in Pomefiore and get all of the excercise and enrichment they need to live a happy life. However, it is worth noting the dorm does prefer brooms to vacuums, as corporal punishment is apparently still legal in France if a pretty boy demands it.

Ignihyde

Vacuums are scarce in Ignihyde, though they would do very well to help clear out the environment of harmful parasites and toxins. A program to introduce vacuums to Ignihyde was implemented in the 1980s but failed after the Strawberry Incident.

Diasomnia

Vacuums are not well understood by the locals and thus can suffer from accidental death or injury in this environment. Though it does not appear they are hunted or intentionally harmed, many incidents of mistreatment of vacuums had resulted in appliance death. Brooms are recommended as pets in Diasomnia at this time.
