Hi,I know this is really specific but can i have some prompt where Person A is suffering from depression after the loss of their lover,and Person B who is Person A's best friend try to help them with it

He was killing his mind, he knew he was. But anything was better than having to deal with this pain in his heart.

She just wanted to see them again and she didn't care how artificial it was. The visions of them that would visit her when she was spaced out was enough. Even if they were just too perfect to be real, taking away from that false sense that they were still around, it was enough for her.

"It hurts," Person A cried. "There's this hole in my chest and nothing else can fill it."

"The drugs aren’t filling it," Person B carefully said. "You may feel whole for a few hours, but all it's really doing is carving that cavity deeper and deeper."

They hated to see him like this. Walking around like he was in a daze, not living and barely surviving. They didn't know what to do for him, though. He was dealing with an ache in his chest that they were unfamiliar with, and they worried what taking away his only source of comfort would do to him.

It was decided. She was finally going to say something. Why it took her so long she had no excuse for, but she couldn't keep seeing him like this and pretending everything was okay.

"You can't keep doing this to yourself. What would [dead lover] say if they saw you like this?"

Her eyes hazily moved across the room, seeing [dead lover] standing in front of the window with their arms outstretched. Their figure blocked the sunlight that filtered in through the glass, surrounding them in a golden halo. Tears pricked at her eyes as she groggily smiled. "[Name]? Is that you?"

He stared at them with his arms crossed. They were sprawled out on the floor, drugged out of their mind. He couldn't let this go on any longer.

"I'm not going to stand around while you slowly kill yourself!" Person B yelled as angry tears began to run down their cheeks. "Can't you see what this is doing to you?"

how to make a character’s death even sadder (part 2)

have the friend(s) comforting X as they die sing a song that has special meaning between the two of them

bonus points if the song was a favorite of one of their deceased family members/friends

have the toughest, most serious character cry at the funeral or burial after they’ve toughed it out until then

have them warn their friends that they’re not cut out for a dangerous mission, only for it to result in their death and their friends blame themselves

have the character die doing something they’ve always wanted to do, such as dying during childbirth when all they’ve ever wanted to be was a parent, or dying during a car accident immediately after getting the car they’ve wanted since they were a little kid

have the other characters realize that X’s death was completely preventable right after X has died

show the character’s parents’ reactions

have another character be forced to make a split second decision to save X, not realizing it would kill Y in the process, then have them find out that Y died because of their choice

have them die on the way to the hospital

force one of their family members to kill them or aid in their death

have X celebrate killing the threat, then have the threat immediately kill X in the middle of saying that they’re in the clear

right before their death, show a part of their personality that no one has seen before, such as make an always bubbly character cry during their death, have the tough character break and show genuine fear of dying, or have the one who’s always been afraid of dying finally come to peace with death as they’re slipping away

make it so that the audience is just beginning to really like the character

show X’s friends defeat an enemy and when they turn back to X, they reveal they were injured

put the character through emotional turmoil the majority of the story, then kill them off when they’ve finally gotten back to a good place

make their death happen as they’re having a good time, telling a joke, or overall being happy so that it’s unexpected

make it so that they’re a timid character who lets people be mean to them, and they die standing up for themselves for the first time

Hello! What's up? I really need your help with these writing prompts.

A pregnant girl loses her husband (he dies in a tragic accident). A boy is in the place where the accident takes place and, since he's rich, he decides to help the girl and her unborn baby.

So, what could that tragic event be? I think a car accident it's a bit cliché. Thank you for being so helpful!

Oh, this is something for me.

Tragic events

So, let me first say that even though car accident is used a lot, there is nothing bad about using it yet again. Considering how many car accidents happen every day, there are a lot of possible changes to the situation you can make.

But now to the other stuff you can play around with:

Getting hit by a car as a pedestrian/ Hit-and-run - I think this one doesn't need explaining

Fall - falls are dangerous, okay? Depending on what the guy's job/hobbies are, there is a fall from a roof, stairs, window or balcony. If he likes hiking, he can fall into a ravine or from a cliff.

Skiing accident - again, depends on where the story is set, but crashing during skiing can mess you up pretty bad (and you don't even have to get impaled by a tree/branch)

Swimming accident/drowning - good old cramps or seizures during swimming. Adding to it, if the guy's hobbies include diving, that opens even more options (Decompression sickness is an ugly way to die)

Robbery gone bad - maybe he wanted to fight for his wallet or the robber just didn't want to leave a witness

Fire - be it at work or at home, it's surprisingly easy to die in a fire since the most common death by fire is suffocating rather than burning. If you want to go a bit further, you can have the guy play a hero and trying to save someone from the fire (or you can make him a firefighter)

Explosions - doesn't have to be a bomb in any way. Gas leak, badly stored propane tank, electric explosions, some idiot at a gas station... the list goes on.

Electrocution - faulty or exposed wires, getting hit by lightning

Honourable mentions - depends on how extra you want to go, there are also more deaths such as a plane crash, impalement (connected to falls but not necessarily) and bleeding out, poisoning, train accidents (derailing or falling on the rails), head injuries, getting crushed by a falling tree (or anything falling really), or getting exposed to a toxic substance. But even something as common as a stroke or heart attack can work well. Aneurysm is a silent killer too.

Writing prompt

A character (let's call them A)finds out that they have only one year to live due to a serious disease. Only few people end up knowing about it, including someone who they are really close to(sibling/best friend/partner/love interest...)(let's call them B) who, at first is struck by disbelief but then decides to get them spending more quality together and making A happy. After less than half of a year, A dies in a battle in order to save B. :)

Like...imagine all the posiblities of angsty dialogue, A's last words, B's feelins and grief after their death, the reaction of both characters who knew and who didn't know.

Danny doesn’t know how Vlad managed to convince his parents to let him take Danny with him to some fancy gala in Gotham, but he does know he’s gonna be the biggest menace he can be to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

The moment they entered the place the gala was held, Danny’s eyes landed on the chandelier on the ceiling in de middle of the room.

Bingo.

What Danny had been expecting was something along the lines of him embarrassing Vlad, making Vlad angry, and/or getting kicked out when the chandelier inevitably crashed to the ground cause they weren’t made to hold his weight.

What Danny hadn’t been expecting was for the chandelier to be heavily reinforced and not move an inch when he hung on there upside down, nor had he expected to be joined up there by a guy his age that seemed to be bursting with excitement as he stared at Danny from his place upside down on the chandelier.

Danny gets deaged and heads to Gotham to find jazz at collage there's only one problem he knows where the collage is just now where jazz's class is

Enter one bruce wayne who genuinely just so happened to be there (he's pulling a brucie wayme stunt) seeing a small kid looking around worried so what does the serial adopter do? Well he goes up to the kid of course crouching down to ask if he's ok whats his name wheres his parents or siblings?

Now jazz, jazz all but raised danny she protected him from a young age and helped him with anything he needed and durimg her time at collage she had worried for him, with the amount of bull her parents spouted she wouldn't be surprised if danny up and left

So imagine her surprise when she spotted her baby brother de aged talking to some stranger and at that moment every instinct flared and she remembered every warning she read or heard about Gotham and she acted

Danny was just looking for his sister when some guy crouched down to talk with him after asking some questions danny heard a sound he was familiar with jazz running

Bruce really wasn't expecting to be kicked for trying to help a kid
