I saw the post about the Hardship Goddess’s son, the one she had with Thanatos, and it got me thinking since Zeus pretty much rejected him would Apollo, Hermes, and Dionysus reach out to him? Those three besides Hades and Poseidon were very close to Hardship Goddess.
I’m also going out on a limb and say that Artemis, Demeter and maybe Athena will try to make Deathbell son into the new God of Hardships.
Broken Truth (Reads the Ask): An Ask about the Deathbell Son? This is going to get interesting. Now, let the words weave together.
Zeus caused disappointment among Apollo, Hermes, and Dionysus when he rejected his own grandson purely based on his connection to Nyx through Thanatos. Disgusted, the trio soon left Olympus and decided to reach out to their cousin [Deathbell] to offer support in case he needed it. They planned to meet him in Greece in human form at a cafe, apologize on Zeus' behalf, and explain that the situation on Olympus was stressful after [Name] separated from her divine soul and discovered her mortal half was no longer alive after giving birth to [Deathbell]. Zeus was heartbroken when he sent [Deathbell] away and didn't realize what he was saying.
Zeus had a fear of [Deathbell's] Grandmother, which Deathbell found amusing and ironic. Although Deathbell's grandfather had hurtfully rejected him, [Deathbell] was grateful to have some family on his mother's side who accepted him. They enjoyed each other's company over drinks at the Cafe and strolls through the streets of Greece, learning more about Deathbell. However, their good times were interrupted by Apollo's sister, Artemis, Demeter, and Athena, who appeared in the peaceful forest holding [Name'] Divine Soul captive in a crystal orb. They demanded that Deathbell become the new God of Hardships so mortals would pray to them again, but [Deathbell] knew that taking his mother's power would only make him stronger and that mortals had already advanced enough to solve their own problems, rendering prayer unnecessary.
Artemis would grab the Divine Soul of Hardship from Athena's hand and demand that [Deathbell] merge with it at once but the young god refused and demanded that they returned to Olympus before he sent them there by force. Artemis was ready to fight but Athena told them all to stand down and return to Olympus without issue; Apollo needed to have a word with his sister - this obsession of her would destroy them all if she wasn't careful.
