Introduction & FAQ

I’m not a Kaylor shipper. I’m not an anti. I am someone who is here to find a middle ground. 

I want this blog to serve as a place where people can call out both sides. I welcome discussion regarding the toxicity of the “Kaylor ship” and blogs such as TTB who promote damaging lies. I also welcome middle ground, rational Kaylors and ex Kaylor shippers who want a place to talk about their opinions and experiences. I am open to any good faith, honest conversation. Any hate or personal attacks will be deleted so don’t bother.

Above all else, I value truth, logic, and fairness from both ends. I want to make it clear that I do not believe that Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift are in a secret relationship, nor do I believe that everything you see is what you get in the entertainment industry. I know better than that.

Who am I? - I live in a big city in the USA. I work in PR. I am a gay woman who has been a casual fan of Taylor Swift since Speak Now and a bigger fan since Folklore. 

Are you an ex-Kaylor? - No, I have never been a shipper. 

Do you think Josh/Karlie are a fake relationship or bearding contract? - I highly doubt it.

Do you think Taylor/Joe is a fake relationship? - I doubt it. 

Do you think Taylor and Karlie ever dated? - I think there is a possibility. However, if they did, it is mostly definitely not something that is currently going on and insane theories about matching patterns, Instagram captions, and emoji choices on social media posts are delusional. 

Do you think Taylor is gay or straight? - I do not claim to know her sexuality, and will not.  I do think there is a chance that Taylor is not straight, and I do acknowledge and recognize the queer themes in her music. All of her public and known relationships have been with men, so I will not ever claim that she is a secret lesbian who is sending messages to TTB.

I am familiar with the PR game and the entertainment industry. I do not and never have worked with Taylor Swift or Karlie Kloss personally. I am here to call out bullshit on both sides. Remember: discussing a celebrity, even in the form of gossip, is not harmful within reason. Creating elaborate conspiracy theories to convince yourself (or young LGBT people) that two people are secretly still together, despite strong contradictory evidence, is.

I will probably regret sending this but I really think you need to hear this. You rejoice in the termination of her blog. Have you ever thought about all of the especially young LGBTQ people who follow that blog, find it their safe space, and feel recognized? Because they are crushed. Your obsession with violating their safe space is horrifying. You really need to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself why you behave so abhorrently. Mind your own business.

Have you ever thought how young people are being manipulated into a toxic narrative that only hurts them? Did you see how many people were hurt by Taylor naming Joe in her documentary? By Karlie being pregnant? You think that it’s okay for people to feel like that? For people to get their hopes up, acuse Taylor of queer baiting, talking about miscarriages? Do you think this space created by a straight woman who constantly preaches narrative that carry bi erasure is a safe space? Her blog is not a safe space. It’s a manipulated safe space. She gets peoples hopes up, people that get hurt and disappointed because what SHE is saying is going to happen doesn’t. Because Taylor doesn’t do what TTB said. Because Karlie didn’t do what TTB said.

The only person who needs to look in a mirror right now is you and ask yourself why you a defending a space that is hurting people a lot lately.

Alright friends, I have started combining the timelines, and I’m basically at fall of 2014 but I’m stopping for today and will add more tomorrow or later tonight.

i have a serious question and i’m hoping you could give your insight. so basically i’ve been a “gaylor” for almost two years now and i believed that kaylor was still together up until about june 2020 (at that time, i was still supportive of TTB— i realized how awful she is and that a lot of what she said was blatant lying).

i still think that kaylor was together for at least a few years, but i’m very on the fence about toe/jaylor. i do like joe, that isn’t the problem. but i’m wondering... if toe is real, why are taylor and joe writing INTENSE breakup songs together? why is taylor singing about wishing someone else was “the 1” and “faithless love”? and why are there so many obvious karlie references in folklore and evermore if they’ve truly been over since 2016?

You have to listen to Taylor’s words. Not in the way TTB/being a Kaylor has programmed you all listen to her words.

Taylor let us know that these albums are about story telling, blurring lines. They take inspiration from movies, books, and history. From her family.

Taylor currently being happy is no equivalent to her not writing about moments where she felt pain, moments where she wished someone would have been the one she stayed with.

This is the problem with us Swifties and Kaylors. We need to stop acting like everything Taylor writes is about her love life or her personal life.

In regards to Karlie, if she really was her best friend, like family, and super close to her, she can write about a betrayal from her that is equivalent to that of a romantic relationship. That’s what we get in MTR, she wrote about her and Scott and compared it to a divorce.

We need to start thinking outside of the box that us as fans have placed Taylor and her writing in.

I did some research on Joe last night and I read where one of his former teachers referred to Joe as a “poetic soul.” So, for people to say Joe couldn’t possibly write anything so deep just shows the hatred they have for him just existing. They need to look inward and not at Joe.
