Mine • Mason Mount and Declan Rice
Request: Ok so basically mason and decal are looking after your daughter and your daughter says she loves Declan more than mason but then mason say he love Declan kid more but she got really jealous and said mason is only hers hope that make sense
I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting so long for this.
-
It wasn't the first time Mason and Declan had arranged to spend time together. It wasn't the first time their girlfriends/fiancées had left them alone, and even more so since they'd both had kids their bond had become even stronger.
Declan was the best uncle Mason's daughter could have, and it helped a little that she was the first baby girl in his life after all his nephews. The little girl had him completely at her mercy, a bit like with her father.
The little girl was already two years old when Declan had had his boy, and it had been a bit like watching his own brother grow up. They were always the same mess when they were together - sometimes even more children than the babies themselves - but they were always there for each other at all times.
Little Rice is asleep in his carrier not far from his father while the two adults are discussing the upcoming away games and how they can manage a mutual commitment. Little Mount is on the mat in front of the two intents on playing with a ball, which Declan and Mason take turns kicking to her.
"We had it all planned, then the postponement kind of ruined it"
"Can't you drop her off at yours?"
"No, they haven't seen her in a long time and they'd like us all to go together" Mason sighs resignedly, having plans ruined at the last minute after days were spent planning a bit drives him out of his head.
"Me too?" the little one approaches the two and Declan wastes no time in bringing her onto his lap.
"Yeah, let's all go together. Are you happy pumpkin?"
"Yes" the little one wraps her little arms around Declan's neck leaving a kiss on his cheek, causing her father to arch an eyebrow.
"Excuse me missy?"
"I love uncle Deccy"
"Oh yeah? How much do you love him?"
"So much" the little girl spreads her arms as wide as she can before being pulled back to Declan who fills her with kisses causing her to let out amused little squeals. "Yeah I love you so much too. You're my favourite pumpkin"
"What about daddy?"
"I love uncle Deccy" at this point the little girl is snuggled up to his friend, her gaze turned towards her father as if to tease him. And he certainly doesn't act like an adult when it comes to these things.
"You stay with him then. I'll keep the sleepyhead there" the little girl's eyes go wide, but she seems to think about it, nodding and bringing herself even closer if possible to her uncle. Declan shakes his head as the two of them stick their tongues out at each other, still amused by the pair.
Disturbed by the noise and shouting, a cry is heard from the carrier and both boys look towards it.
"I'll get him, since you are so much in demand" Mason rolled his eyes playfully going to pick up the little one to soothe him.
"Just check if he needs a nappy change"
"In that case, you're the father" Mason states seriously making his friend laugh.
"Come on, let's get your daddy to work" but once he picks up the baby calms down, a sign that he was just looking for some human contact, and no strange smells can be detected. "Good boy! Always knew you love your uncle Mase"
"No!" the little girl gets off Declan's legs and in a moment is between Mason's legs, hugging them as tightly as she can.
"Hey you, what's the matter?"
"Mine daddy, not baby's" she whimpers with her face hidden against his jeans and his face instantly softens, setting the little one down in his father's arms before lowering himself to his daughter's height.
"Hey, of course I am. Dad wouldn't trade you for anything in the world"
"Really?"
"Really"

naughty one - Declan Rice
Tumblr media
Y/N x Declan Rice Theme: Smutish (Teasing, Touching, mentions of alcohol, not too explicit) after winning the game, Declan returns home with a spicy confession x word count: 940+
It's way past midnight on this freezing Saturday night when you find yourself already lying in your bed, asleep. You tried your best to stay awake, your boyfriend Declan had a game this night, in which he scored a beautiful goal. However, after the game ended, and the adrenaline left your body, you felt even more exhausted than before. You texted him a long message, congratulating him, and telling him, you'd go to bed. He sent you a short voice mail, so happy, so excited, telling you it's fine.
Now, wrapped into your thick blanket, you lie in the bed sleeping when suddenly, you feel someone hugging you from behind. Obviously, it's Declan, who just returned home. You didn't even hear him coming, which means he tried to be extra careful. Sleepily, you turn around inside his strong arms and let out a soft groan when you stretch your legs. Without even opening your eyes, you can sense him. Just by his scent alone, a familiar sweet scent swirls around your nose, when he leans into you, kissing you softly. "Babe." You breathe into his mouth, tasting the beer he had for celebration on your tongue.
You slowly open your eyes to meet his soft gaze instantly, and a shy smile spreads across his lips. "You watched it." He says with a husky, rough voice. Nodding comfortingly, you place a hand on his face, stroking his cheek with your thumb. His skin is so soft, just like his beard, which barely tickles the tip of your fingers. "You did so well." You say, running a hand through his messy hair. Declan melts into your touch, enjoying every part of it. Just then, you notice him wearing nothing but a pair of joggers, with his bare chest exposed. "Declan." You say, placing a hand on his chest. "It's cold outside. Are you mad?" Weakly, your hand wanders across his skin, his pecs, down to his abs. His skin is cold, and instantly, a shudder runs down his spine.
"It's fine." He shakes his head, but you're not having it. "Come here." You say softly, lifting your arm including the blanket, inviting him to join you inside your warm cocoon. Grinning, he accepts your invitation without another thought, and wraps his arms around your body, while you steady yourself against his firm frame. For a few seconds, you stare into each other's eyes, before you kiss him again, softly, lovingly, and he lets out a soft, low growl in return. Then, you start to stroke him again, slowly, carefully even, with your fingertips dancing across his skin, his chest, and his abs once more. You like how well-formed his body is, after all that intense training, you can feel all of his muscles react to the slightest touch, and you can tell, he enjoys it too.
"Y/N." He purrs happily, closing his eyes for just a second before a playful grin spreads all over his face. "I've been naughty." Declan giggles under his breath. Something he'd always do, when he had indeed been a naughty boy. Tilting your head slightly, you narrow your eyes. "What did you do?" You say curiously, narrowing your eyes, knowing very well what he's willing to do for a little thrill. "After the game." He licks his lips, thinking deeply. "After showering." Declan giggles again, and you feel his hands stroking the small of your back. "What?" With his laugh being so infectious, you giggle as well.
"I wanted to change into new clothes, but…" He stops, and his eyes lock with yours. "But?" You smile in anticipation. "But, I forgot my briefs at home." Declan giggles, lowering his head, trying to hide his blushing cheeks. "No!" You mouth and he starts to move underneath the blanket. "Yes!" He lifts his head, unable to stop smiling. "Did you put on the other ones again?" You say, with the palms of your hands now firmly on his pecs, but he just shakes his head. "Nah, they were drenched, and through running that much, I couldn't." He bites his lower lip, and the two of you stop giggling.
For a moment, you lie there, with both of you not knowing what to say next. "So, what did you do?" You say, tilting your head again. Declan's grin grows even bigger, and his eyes start to shimmer slightly. "I'm not wearing any." He suddenly says, chuckling to himself. "Mhmmm." Suspiciously, you eye him, trying to figure out if he's messing with you. "You didn't." You say. He wouldn't have done that, would he? Running around just wearing a pair of trousers?
Without saying another word, but still grinning, he moves to take your hand. He takes your wrist, and leads your hand down his chest, his abs, along his treasure trail, and even further down to his crotch. Softly, he places your hand right on his dick, and you can feel that he's not wearing anything underneath. Gasping shortly, your hand lingers on his bulge. "I'm still so pumped from the game." He smirks, enjoying your gentle touch. "I can tell." You say, stroking him firmly.
Declan instantly melts into your touch again, moving his body even closer toward yours. You embrace his body, one hand on his chest, the other on his crotch, while he runs his fingers up and down your spine. "You're naughty, Declan." Patting his chest firmly, you lean in, kissing him again.
"Desperate times." He smiles contently, gently rubbing his nose against yours. For a while longer, you lie in bed, the two of you stroking each other, kissing one another, and cuddling together, until sleep finds you both.

Cheater
Declan Rice
Her boyfriend has another girlfriend. As her best friend, Declan feels like she has to know about it. It's definitely breaking her heart, but maybe it's not going to be as bad as she thought. [Inspired by “Cheater” by The Vamps]
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DECLAN!❤️
Tumblr media
Rage. That was all she could feel. She had never felt such immense rage before. Her face was burning and her heart was pounding so hard, it was starting to hurt. Her eyes were full of tears that were threatening to fall.
For the first time, she witnessed her boyfriend cheating on her. With her own eyes, she’d just seen him kissing her friend. A business trip to Manchester turned out to be a little getaway with the other girlfriend on the other side of London. Marcus and Lily. Even their names sounded great together.
She’d heard gossip, words from her friends, rumours that A had seen Marcus with a girl somewhere, or that B had seen him in a different place than what he’d told her he was at, or that C had seen him driving away in his car with someone familiar. She’d heard so many things for months. Now she felt stupid for ignoring those gossips and kept trusting him.
Because apparently those gossips were all true and that Marcus was a total liar. He was a cheater.
This girl... She tended to be flirtatious with everyone, she had her records on ruining relationships. She’d actually warned Marcus that Lily was dangerous, that she wasn’t as sweet as she seemed to be; she couldn’t believe that Marcus had actually fallen into her trap.
“How long have you known?” She asked from the passenger seat, breaking the silence that they had left hanging since they’d seen the cheating pair take a seat inside the café, somewhere near the window. They were still there and she hadn’t been able to take her eyes off of them, watching their every move, every touch, and every kiss.
“Two months,” Declan, who had been gripping the steering wheel the whole time, answered from the driver’s seat.
“What took you so long to tell me?”
“I wasn’t sure, I didn’t want to judge too fast. Not until last week at least, when I saw them… You know.” Declan had been doing his own investigation, trying to catch this cheater in action—he’d never trusted this lad since day one. Last week he’d finally seen them getting out of Marcus’ house which happened to be close to his. He had pressed the record button on his phone camera just in time for the pair to share a kiss. And he knew that he just had to tell her. It angered him that this bastard was playing with her, someone that he cared about the most.
“God, I’m so stupid,” she said, finally dropping her gaze. The tears fell from her eyes and she immediately wiped them away with the ends of her jumper.
“No, no, no, don’t say that.” Declan shook his head.
“I am, Dec, I’m stupid, like— Everyone knew about this and tried to tell me, but I brushed them all off.” She was frustrated and definitely sounded like it. “I knew something was off but I kept letting him feed me lies. I kept pretending that our relationship was fine when I knew that it was far from it. And I—” She couldn’t finish her sentence. She was getting all choked up, the lump on her throat was getting more and more uncomfortable.
“Hey, it’s okay, you’re okay.” Declan shifted in his seat, one hand went to her shoulder to caress it. “It’s okay, just take a deep breath…”
She looked out the window and tried to control her breathing, taking long heavy deep breaths. Declan didn’t stop caressing her shoulder, reminding her that she wasn’t going through this alone, and somehow the thought made her feel comfortable enough.
“All just because… All just because I didn’t want my pride to get hurt,” she continued. She was more composed now. “But he didn’t even care about me. I mean, if I can’t give him what he wants then why doesn't he just let me go?”
She turned to Declan for the first time. She’d been too embarrassed to look at him, and more importantly, she didn’t want to see him looking at her like he was pitying her or sorry for her.
“Well…” Declan started, but he was hesitating. What he was going to say was a bit risky. “Why don’t… Why don’t you just let him go?”
She scoffed. Declan’s heart slowly fell to the pit of his stomach; he must’ve offended her in some sort of way, he knew he shouldn’t have said it. He was about to apologise when he saw a smile rising on her face, a sheepish one.
“I know, right? I should’ve done it a long time ago,” she said, giving Declan an instant relief. “I don’t even know why I’m still here. Nothing to fight for. Yeah, maybe… Maybe this isn’t gonna be as bad as I thought.”
Declan offered a smile and she quickly copied it. “You’re gonna be fine,” he assured her. He meant it, because he knew that she was such a strong person and she’d be happier without Marcus.
He knew it for sure. Declan didn’t know what she’d seen in Marcus, he never understood. Why she kept holding on to the toxic relationship, he never understood. Marcus was a bit of a player, famous for being the type to not be in a serious relationship. But he was always overprotective towards her, often not letting her do what she wanted. Marcus didn’t even let her hang out with him, but he knew that Marcus was just insecure.
“You know what, you’re right. This isn’t gonna be as bad as you thought,” Declan agreed. He was trying to be honest here. Having your best friend stolen by someone who couldn't really appreciate her was really painful, and he’d just had enough too. “Maybe we don’t have to sneak around anymore. To my games, my nephew’s birthday parties. Or to our movie nights.”
Maybe when you leave, you’ll end up with me after all. But Declan didn’t say it out loud. Because it wasn’t a secret to both of them. They knew how they always had feelings for each other, but had always been too scared to go for it.
Maybe she wasn’t the only cheater. She knew she wasn’t a saint. She’d loved Marcus, but her feelings for Declan had never really gone away. It had always been there, pure and untouched, since when they were eighteen.
“Yeah, that’s right.” She nodded her head. She stared at Declan’s eyes who were looking at her fondly. Full of reassurance and hope, once again making her believe that the world wasn’t gonna end if she let her pride get hurt when she admitted that Marcus left her for another woman.
She didn’t know what she would do if she didn’t have Declan. Maybe she should’ve listened to him back then not to put her trust in the wrong person; look where her stubbornness had gotten her.
As the image of her now ex-boyfriend kissing that girl replayed in her mind, she was certain that this was her time to leave.
The Netflix intro played on the screen. The “tudum” sound blared too loud through the speakers, and she shrieked, pressing the lower volume button on the remote aggressively.
But a ding from her phone interrupted her—a text from her mum asking about this weekend’s wedding anniversary dinner. She replied, saying that she and Declan would be there. She was typing another message when she heard the door open.
“The movie’s started? I told you to wait for me,” Declan’s annoyed voice caught her attention. He’d just entered the room with two boxes of pizza in his hands. The opening music of the movie was playing and she just realised that she didn’t pause it.
“I’m sorry, I forgot to pause it,” she said, immediately grabbing the remote and pausing the movie. “I was replying to my mum’s text. She asked if we’re going to the anniversary dinner. And the dresscode is yellow.”
“Yellow?” Declan asked as she put the boxes on the table. “Might need to do some shopping, then. And remind me to buy a present.”
Declan suddenly bent down and captured her lips with his. She was surprised, but answered the kiss and kissed back. She leant back on the couch, feeling Declan deepening the kiss and holding the side of her face. She reached for his side, caressing it before she ended up just tugging his shirt. Declan trailed the kiss to her jaw when he pulled away.
“What was that?” She smiled, meeting Declan’s blue eyes.m, giggling a bit as she felt butterflies in her stomach.
“Nothing. You just look so cute in my shirt.”
Her smile widened, bottom lip tucked under her teeth as they both looked down to her new favourite West Ham shirt, with Declan’s name and number at the back, that she’d just stolen earlier from Declan’s wardrobe. She had a new hobby of wearing his things.
The Marcus dump was nearly four months ago. It was pretty bleak, to be honest. She showed Marcus the videos Declan and she had taken, and other proof that she’d collected. He was fully ready to defend himself and even accuse her of being a cheater too, saying that she was probably having a thing with Declan behind his back. But she could swear that she’d never done anything over the line with Declan, only best friends things like it had always been, and it was really the truth. She reminded Marcus that he couldn’t point his finger at her, not after everything he’d done.
And she’d been free since then. She was angry and heartbroken, but luckily she had Declan who helped her deal with her feelings and move on. She’d been trying to take it slow with him, but they had been dreaming for this moment for too long, so it all sort of happened naturally. Loving someone and being loved by someone had never felt any better for her.
Maybe she had been a cheater too all this time. She had always kept her feelings for Declan buried, but maybe, without her even realising it or meaning it, sometimes her friendly love for him was more than friendly. She needed to get her heart broken first before she realised that what she’d been looking for had already been there all this time. And maybe, this was all just meant to be.

Surprise | Declan Rice
Warnings: endometriosis, mentions of abortion, sex, unwanted pregnancy, not wanting kids
A/N: This is a little different than what I usually write, but I needed an outlet for some feelings so here you go xx [this has been sitting in my drafts for about a year now and being an American feels very hopeless rn so I figured I'd put this out now]
- - -
You could feel his presence the moment you stepped foot into your best friend’s place. Of course he’s here, the little voice in your head hissed. He’s your best friend’s husband’s best friend!
Sure enough, you rounded the corner to find Declan Rice perched on the arm of one of the sofas, laughing with Mason Mount. Your body reacted to the sound, your heartbeat picking up and a flood of heat rushing between your legs. You hadn’t seen him in six months, but it simultaneously felt like yesterday and a lifetime.
“I’m right between door four and door six,” Declan said the moment he picked up.
“Okay, I’m just pulling into the terminal now,” you replied, hoping he could hear you with your car’s crappy Bluetooth connection. “Oh! I see you!”
You pulled off to the pickup lane, putting your hazards on as you stepped out to greet Declan. You hadn’t seen him in person since your best friend’s wedding ceremony to Mason Mount a few months before. You’d been instantly attracted to him then, gushing about him for weeks after to your best friend. Now here he was in front of you and your attraction to him was undeniable.
The drive from the airport to your place was filled with comfortable silence. The two of you had had a couple conversations since the wedding and he’d flown out for another one of your mutual friend’s weddings. You’d offered to let him stay at your place for the weekend and now you weren’t sure what you were going to do except fight your attraction to him for the next four days.
“Hey!” You said, squealing happily as your best friend hugged you.
“What are you doing here?” She asked, stepping back with a huge smile on her face. “I thought you said you couldn’t come!”
You and Mason exchanged a knowing smirk. “Mase helped me arrange it. You know I love surprising you.” You could feel Declan’s eyes on you but you tried not to focus on that and instead focus on your friend. “And I brought your favourite,” you said, holding up the alcohol you’d brought with you.
She hugged you again, laughing. “This is why I love you.”
You shook your head, laughing with her. “Yeah, yeah. I love you, too.”
You made the rounds at the small gathering, hugging and greeting people you hadn’t seen since your last visit to town for the wedding. All the bridesmaids were there, everyone catching up like you hadn’t just been on the group WhatsApp chat hours before. You hated filling everyone in on your treatments but it had to be done - they were your friends and they cared about you so naturally you had to fill them in.
Declan watched you as you spoke and you hated that you were so acutely aware of it. He didn’t know anything about your recently-diagnosed Endometriosis, and to be fair you hadn’t had a diagnosis six months ago.
As if on cue, your phone rang. “Oh, it’s my OBGYN! Hello?”
“Hi! So, I told you I’d call when I got your scans back. Are you free to talk now?”
“Yes, go ahead.”
“So, it looks like we’ve gotten most of the deposits of your endometriosis in our last surgery, but there’s still more and we’d like to go in again.”
Time seemed to stop. “That would be the third time in four months. Why?”
“I just want to make sure that everything looks good and that it doesn’t recur. Of course, there’s a chance it will, but I want to buy you another five years without pain.”
You knew everyone was watching you but you needed to ask the question. “Can’t you just give me a hysterectomy and take it all out?”
“Well, yes, we could, but-”
“Then I want that.” You were polite but firm, holding your own. “I know you said you wouldn’t do it until I was thirty, but that was before all this. Now I want it out - all of it: uterus, tubes, ovaries.”
“I just want to give you the best possible outcome for children.”
You started to get angry. “We’ve talked about this. I. Do. Not. Want. Kids.”
“Yes, that’s right now, but what if you do in the future? You’re only twenty-five and I just want to make sure you get a proper chance to experience the joys of carrying a child.”
You were on the verge of tears. “Don’t you dare try to tell me about the joys of being pregnant!” You exploded, completely lost in this world of fighting for your ability to not reproduce in a world that wanted the opposite. “I was pregnant six months ago and I got an abortion immediately, so don’t tell me I’ll want children in the future.” You paused, catching your breath. “If you’re not going to do it, I’ll get a second and a third opinion until I find someone who will, so if you won’t just give me the names of your colleagues you better be willing to give me the operation I want and not the operation you think I want.”
You didn’t even bother with pleasantries, pressing the End Call button on your phone. Your girls immediately swarmed you in a group hug and you felt grateful to have them by your side. You huffed out a laugh, your eyes shiny with tears… and your gaze connected with Declan’s.
“Were you actually pregnant six months ago?” One of your friends asked and you could see that the same question was etched out so clearly on his face, too.
“Uh, no.” You laughed it off, your eyes still on Declan. “It was just a lie I told her because she wouldn’t shut up about the fucking ‘joys of carrying a child’ and some other shit.” You shook your head as if it was an etch-a-sketch, changing the subject. “Now, let’s get drunk and celebrate getting the gang back together!”
The night continued after that, but you were lost somewhere six months ago.
The two of you were tipsy as you climbed the stairs, giggling. The wedding had been great - Declan was the perfect date and you hated that you’d fallen even harder for him as he’d danced with you to every song and made you feel like the only girl in the world.
“Thank you for tonight,” you murmured, looking up at him as the two of you reached the door to your place. “You were the perfect date.”
“I didn’t have to do anything. That was all you.” He braced a hand on the door and you felt your back against it, suddenly unable to find your keys. Declan’s eyes searched yours as he leaned down. “If I kiss you right now, I won’t be able to stop.”
You reached up, tugging at his tie. “So kiss me, Declan. You’re here for two more days and I wanna make the most of this, so-”
“Kiss you. Got it.”
Declan leaned down, capturing your lips in his as you fumbled for your key. You broke the kiss, quickly sticking the key in the lock to let both of you in. The two of you kissed your way to the bedroom, stripping off clothes along the way.
It had been forever since you’d been touched by anyone other than yourself, so Declan’s hands felt amazing on your body. Goosebumps broke out over your skin in the wake of his fingers, both of you exploring the other.
“I don’t keep condoms here,” you said in-between kisses, realizing you needed to tell him.
Declan pulled back, smirking. “I’ve got one in my wallet.”
“Hey, can I talk to you?” Declan’s voice came through, interrupting your thoughts.
“Sure. What’s up?”
“Not here,” he said lowly, his expression saying more.
“Two minutes. Meet me outside in the back.” You pasted a smile on your face, turning to laugh and join back in on the conversation. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Declan make his way out to the deck and you excused yourself to use the bathroom, following him out. “What is it?”
Declan didn’t make eye contact, his hands braced against the railing of the deck’s balcony, taking in a breath. “That wasn’t a lie, was it?”
Cold fear ran through your veins. You’d known he wasn’t stupid by any means, but you didn’t expect him to figure it out so quickly. “No, it wasn’t.”
He turned to look at you, betrayal crossing his beautiful features. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because it wasn’t a big deal!” You spluttered, unsure what else to say. “I mean, yeah, I was terrified when I found out I was pregnant but I took care of it.”
“What if you’d told me and I told you I wanted it? Would that have made a difference?”
“Dec, how can you even ask me that?!” You huffed, upset. “Didn’t you hear me on the phone? I don’t want kids - not now, not when I was fifteen, and I sure as hell won’t want them in ten years or twenty or whenever. So, no, it wouldn’t have made a difference whether or not I’d brought you in on it. It wasn’t your decision to make.”
Declan sighed, running a hand over his face. “Okay.”
“That’s it? That’s all you have to say is ‘okay’?! I tell you I killed the child we made together and all you have to say is ‘okay’?!” You weren’t sure why you were still arguing with him, but Declan took you in his arms, pressing a kiss into your hair.
“God, you look even hotter when you’re all fucked out,” Declan murmured, pressing a kiss to your temple as you snuggled against his chest.
“That was all you,” you giggled, tracing circles on his sternum.
“We’ve got a fresh pack of condoms and with all your toys, I can make you cum a few more times while I get ready for round whatever-number-we’re-on.” Declan turned, pinning you underneath him as he kissed you again.
“Where’d you go?”
“Sorry, I can’t stop thinking about our night together.”
Declan smiled at that. “I think you mean ‘our weekend together’.”
“God, we really didn’t leave my bedroom after that wedding, did we?” You shook your head, leaning into him to press your head on his chest before pulling away.
“We didn’t - except for coffee and the food we ordered in.” Declan paused, taking your face in his hands. “I’m sorry. I just… I wish you’d told me. Maybe I could’ve been there for you or something so you wouldn’t have had to go it alone.”
Tears sprang to your eyes at his admission. “I, uh… thank you, Dec. That means a lot.”
“I know you’re never here because you live on the other side of the country and you don’t really come back, but if I’m ever in the area, can I come see you?”
Your heart fluttered at his question. He looked so young and vulnerable standing in front of you - even moreso than the three-year age gap between you two - but you couldn’t resist standing on your tiptoes and pulling him down for a kiss even though your friends were on the other side of the door. “Yes. I’d like that. And if I get my way, I’m going to be lady-part-free so we won’t have another pregnancy scare.”
“I like the sound of that,” Declan said, taking your hand right before the two of you walked back inside to the party.

Accident
Pairing: Mason Mount x mom!reader
Warnings: car accident
Summary: Where y/n has a car accident with their daughter on the way to Mason's game and at halftime he gets the news that they are in the hospital.
Tumblr media
I was already very late for the game, I got tied up with work stuff and missed the alarm I set up, so now I was running out of time to get to the game in time.
Only in the middle of the way some idiot came with everything and threw my car far away.
"Oh my God." I unbuckled my seat belt and turned to the back seat watching my daughter cry loudly. "It's okay, baby."
Soon I could hear noises of ambulance and police cars, they came to me and I got out of the car carefully holding my daughter.
"You need to be checked." The paramedic said.
"I'm not letting her go."
"Give her to me so she can also be checked.”
"I already said I am not releasing her, it is my right to accept treatment or not if I am conscious and as I am and I said no. I'll accept being taken to the hospital and in the ambulance you guys can check her but I'm not letting you take her out of me."
"All right, let's go."
I got into the ambulance trying to calm her down, I was nervous and scared, I needed to talk to Mason but my stuff stayed in the car so I couldn't call him. They check us and none of us have a concussion in the way to the hospital.
As soon as we arrived I had to hand Maia over to the nurses so they could run tests on her and me.
After about half an hour I was back in the room and soon they brought her back to me, I started breastfeeding her because she was hungry.
"The police will be coming here in a few minutes to take your statement miss, is there anyone we can call to stay with you?"
"Yes there is my husband Mason but he is busy right now so he’s not going to see the call."
"Anyone else?"
"Actually there is his coach number, you can call him and tell him I had an accident please." She agrees and writes down the number I gave her and leaves the room to make the call.
Meanwhile on the other side of town, Mason was playing with pride knowing that his team was winning and that his wife and daughter were somewhere in the stands watching him play.
Little did he know that they were both in a hospital room waiting for him to come to them.
The first half ended and Mason went to get a drink of water, but the worried look on the coach's face made him worry that something bad happens.
"Is everything okay?" He asks.
"I got a call from the hospital, your wife and daughter were involved in a car accident."
"Are they okay?" He asks worriedly.
"They are fine, they took them there for some tests but you should go there."
"Yeah, sure."
I grabbed my things and ran to the car, it was a little difficult since there were some fans there but I managed to dodge them and go to the hospital that the coach had told me about.
The way there was torturous, even though he said they were fine I hadn't seen them with my own eyes yet.
I ran inside the hospital and stopped in front of the reception desk and after she told me the room I ran to where my girls were.
"Thank God." I say entering the room and going to them. "How are you my love?"
"We are fine Mase, it was just a really big scary accident."
"What happened?"
"I was late with work stuff and after I let the babysitter go we were on our way to the game when some crazy person came up fast and hit us." She says tearfully. "But I swear I was paying attention to the road and I wasn't going fast and..."
"Relax, I believe you babe."
"It's just that I don't want you to think that i was going fast with Maia in the car and that I've put her at risk and..."
"Calm down, honey, you're too nervous." She stops and takes a deep breath. "I know you're careful when you're with her and it wasn't your fault, it was the person who hit you."
"It's just that I can't stop thinking that something bad could have happened to her."
"I know, I spent the whole way here thinking the worst had happened to you but it's okay now."
"Can you lie here with me?"
"Of course I can baby." She goes to the side and hands me Maia who smiled when she saw me. "Let's watch the rest of the game."
I turned the TV on the channel and we stood there watching the end of the second half together.

Omg I have idea u don’t have to use it but little Alice with uncle dec that would really cute
How could I not write something with uncle declan x
One of the people who had been closest to him was undoubtedly Declan, the boy was over the moon when you told him you were expecting a baby, calling himself the favourite uncle even before Alice was the size of an orange. So it was only obvious he was there for both of you.
He'd been there when Mason didn't know what to do, lost to suddenly find himself with a newborn in charge and his life turned upside down. He was one of the few who had seen Mason hit rock bottom. When he had come to him after the call, the boy was just... broken. His body carried out the movements he was asked to make, but he wasn't there. His gaze was dull and lost and Declan was seriously afraid that he would never see him as his usual self again.
He stopped by at least once a day, at first to make sure he was out of bed or not drowning in his own thoughts. His presence was accompanied each time by a piece of advice - mum told me this mum told me that - and no matter how silly it might be, he tried to help out by trying to ease his best friend's burden for a while.
He'd been there when Mason started taking care of his little girl again, but talk still wasn't an option. In fact, the few times his voice was heard was because of Alice and this had raised Declan's hopes because well, with time everything else would come.
But then the anger had taken over, Declan realised that his friend was trying to provoke him in every way. Little comments here and there, after all they had been friends all their lives and knew each other's weak points. And he had tried so hard not to give in, to justify him, but he was no saint. He'd taken him to the gym and let him vent, they'd both come out sore but eventually Mason had started to let out everything he'd been holding in for those months. They'd talked and laughed for hours that night - they'd even shed a few tears but that was part of the package - and there had been a clear improvement over the next few days.
But he hadn't done it just for Mason. He was crazy about that little girl, she was like his own blood to him, and he never wanted that whole situation to weigh on her. He always has so much fun with children and he tried not to lose this trait with her because who needs it more than her.
He rings the doorbell at Mason's house and has to wait a while before the door opens; he's gotten used to it by now. And he can't help but chuckle when his friend appears in front of him, his hair ruffled and a definitely exhausted expression on his face.
"Help is here"
"Good luck. She's wilder than usual this morning" Mason rolls his eyes clearly in a bad mood letting him in and closing the door.
"Hey where's my favourite girl?"
"Uncle Deccy!!!" the shout and the sound of something banging makes him reach the kitchen where he sees the little girl sitting in her high chair with what may be crumbs from her breakfast in front of her.
"Good morning little girl. Have you had breakfast yet?"
"Yes"
"Oh I see... and what did you eat?" he asks leaving her a kiss on her head and sitting on a chair nearby.
"Milk and biscuits"
"Milk and biscuits? Gooood" Declan opens his eyes wide making the little girl smile proudly, before she starts tapping her feet against the high chair clearly wanting to get off.
"Alice stop banging on there, you're gonna break it" Mason sighs from his seat at the table with breakfast in front of him, his hand holding his head up and his eyes still full of sleep.
"Daddy got Hammer and-"
"I just washed him with the sheets. That happens if you leave him anywhere" the child's last words are incomprehensible to Declan given Mason's louder, exhausted voice. Perhaps he is beginning to understand where that difficult morning is coming from according to his friend.
"What do you say you and I go to the park together?" so he tries to run for cover before one of them inevitably cries, undoing the strap and taking the little girl into his arms.
"Daddy too?"
"No, just you and me" he pats her nose a few times causing her to giggle and hide in his chest. "Daddy get some rest and then join us. How about it?" Alice finally nods but Declan is more focused on looking at Mason since the last sentence is directed at him.
After changing into something more comfortable for the park, hand in hand the two head towards the green area not far from the house. At first Declan leads her towards the slide and swing, where he makes little effort other than watching or pushing her. But then it's Alice herself who looks for more toys in the bag they have brought with them, a small ball is the one that catches her attention.
The child's laughter echoes through the open space, along with shouts for her uncle to be faster or to play again and again. The ball goes here and there, the little girl's quick legs too, while Declan is a sweaty mess almost immediately.
Mason decides it's time for the boy to call a truce, slowly approaching the two after standing back and watching them for a while. He has slept another couple of hours and after a shower worthy of the name he feels like a different, more serene person.
"Having fun?"
"Daddy!" Alice scampered quickly towards him, leaving everything she was doing behind, going to circle his legs with her small arms.
"Hey, are you having fun with uncle Declan?"
"Yes, daddy come. Let's play" the little one takes him by the hand hurrying him towards where she was with Declan, the boy who meanwhile sat on the ground gets a pat on the back as a greeting.
"Did she tire you out?!"
"Nah" but his panting and sweat say otherwise, "but don't ask me to get up from here"

Bad day at school
Tumblr media
credit to @canirove for the gif x
Baby Series 3.0  15. Bad day at school  Declan Rice  Word Count: 501  Declan had a day off from training and as it rarely happened, he was able to go and collect his little boy from school while you were working.  Declan parked up outside school and headed in to pick him up.
“Daddy” he smiled as Oakley gave him the biggest cuddle as he fell into his arms as he handed over his lunch box and school bag.  “How are you little man? Have you had a good day?” he asked him as he buckled Oakley into his car seat as he noticed that he looked a little sad.  “What happened bud?” Declan asked him as he noticed a small bruise on his face as he gently put his fingers across it.  “What happened here?” he asked his son as he shrugged.  “No you need to tell me, did you get hurt?” he asked gently as Oakley nodded.  “I was playing and the ball hit me, but miss gave me a sticker and helped me. I have a head bump sticker” he smiled as he pointed down to it.  “Oh as long as you are okay and not in any pain then that’s good bud” he smiled as Oakley still was looking a little sad as Declan climbed into the car and put his seat belt on.  “What else happened Oakley? You can’t have a bad day and not tell me” he looked in the mirror as he saw his boy nodding away.  “The work was so hard today” he sighed as you could see that he was having a tough day and he hated seeing him looking really sad.  “How about I get a happy meal for you and can try and cheer you up?” he asked as Oakley smiled with excitement for his McDonalds.  They pulled up to McDonalds as they ordered their food while Oakley managed to climb in the front as he opened his toy as he stuffed his face with chips.  “Will Mummy be mad we had this?” Declan laughed as he shook his head. “No we will be okay, now you tell me why you feel sad today” he asked him.  “The boys at school were laughing at me and I didn’t like it, they were mean to me. It was a bad day” he sighed as Declan kissed him gently on the head.  “You will be okay buddy, you don’t deserve to have someone like that being your friends if you are sad okay. We all have bad days and that is alright. Sometimes people are mean and we don’t always get on” he smiled as you could see Oakley calming down a little which was lovely to see.  “Now we better get home and we best not mention McDonalds otherwise Mummy will want me to go and get one for her” he smirks as Oakley climbed back in the car taking his toy with him as he buckled his seat himself.  “Deal daddy” Oakley gave his Daddy a thumbs up as they drove back home.  Taglist: @footballffbarbiex @percervall @odegaardsreds @football-and-fanfics  @footballxixstars  Declan tag: @football-rambles

Enemies (To Lovers?)
Tumblr media
so i’m shocking myself with how many stories i upload in one day but let’s not jinx it lol
this was a request but i can’t find where, anyways hope you enjoyy💖
————
pairing: Declan Rice x Y/N
summary: you and Declan never really clicked but now that you’re locked in a room what other option is there than to talk it out
genre: slight angst maybe also slight smut
————
“Ugh I hate him” you told your friend Ariana the minute you entered the villa.
“Who?” she asked not understanding how you got involved in beef even before talking to anyone at the party.
“Who do you think?” you asked her in a duh voice.
“Dec? Girl you two seriously need to drop this petty act.” she whined fed up with you.
But you couldn’t. You couldn’t just stop this childish hate for Declan Rice, the Arsenal ‘superstar’ You have been in the same friend circle since last summer. When your friends first told you about him you were pretty optimistic actually, everyone told you what a great and genuine guy he was and you thought ‘wow we’d get along well’ but it wasn’t the case. From the moment you first met, Declan had a weird vendetta against you. He showed how much he didn’t like you from the first day you met by spilling his drink on you, granted he might’ve accidentally do it but his actions after were enough.
“Stop laughing” you snickered trying to get the red stain out of your white blouse but Declan kept on smiling.
“At least now you have some colour in your life.” he bit back and you couldn’t believe this was the guy everyone told you about. He certainly didn’t look that great to you, apart from his piercing blue eyes and charming smile that obviously didn’t work for you.
If he’d just apologized like a normal person you’d of course let it go but he didn’t, in fact he constantly made fun of how angry you were and poked fun about it. That’s why you didn’t want to be here today, at his multimillion dollar mansion celebrating his team’s newest win but all your friends, especially Ariana, told you you had to be there. They had this weird fantasy about Declan actually liking you more than you realize and trying to show it like a third grader, pulling your hair and throwing erasers at you. You found it stupid, he was a grown adult and showed how much he disliked you like he was and you returned his hatred by hating him.
“Did I hear my name?” Declan suddenly appeared behind you and put his arm around Ariana and you were thankful he didn’t try it with you.
Deep down, what upset you the most was his behavior towards everyone else. He was seemingly cute and warm with everyone else while he always made fun of you and that made you feel uneasy, what was it that made him dislike you this much? You felt left out but you’d never admit it of course.
“Y/N was just telling me how proud she is of you.” Ariana tried lightening the mood and offer peace but Declan had to ruin it by rolling his eyes.
“Yeah, I’m so proud you make millions by kicking a ball for 90 minutes a week. That’s really noble of you.” you sarcastically said.
“Not all of us has to be chained to a cubicle 40 hours a week” he quipped back and you felt even more angry at him.
“Yeah because some of us need money to pay for real things like rent and food.”
He thankfully left you alone after that and went back to being his other persona.
“Y/N I know you don’t want to hear this but you need to stop being so hostile towards Dec. He’s really not that bad.” Ariana said.
“You’re right Ari, I don’t want to hear it.” you shut her down and grabbed yourself a drink.
You weren’t usually this cold but he had something about him that made you snap instantly. But there was no way you’d be the person to break the friend group so you were just going to have to deal with him.
It was well into the party and you felt the buzz from all the alcohol you consumed which was a lot. You needed it very much to calm your nerves and not start any more fights. You were just sitting on the sofa humming to the song in the background when one of your close friends Kayla suddenly turned to you.
“Y/N can you grab me some painkillers from the guest bathroom? My head’s killing me.” she whined.
You really didn’t want to go snooping around Declan’s home, one because you didn’t know the house quite well and two because you didn’t want him to say anything negative about you.
“Is there anyone else who could do that? I don’t know the house well enough.” you tried but she insisted everyone was either too drunk or outside so you reluctantly agreed. She even gave you the directions to the room and you went upstairs, you’d never admit it but Dec had a good taste in interior design. He didn’t have one of those all white lacking personality type of home, his space had character with some pops of colour in every room including the guest bedroom which was the size of your apartment. You cursed yourself for liking something about him and went into the en-suite connected to the guest bedroom trying to look for the painkillers Kayla described.
You were shuffling around the cabinets having a hard time because you had to steady yourself a few times a minute when you heard some footsteps and figured you took too long and she came to get them herself but as luck would have it, it was actually Declan.
“Oh, it’s you” he said with more softness than he did when you first walked in so you figured he must be intoxicated as well.
“I thought someone was trying to steal something.” he said as he walked over to you.
You didn’t stop looking around to look at him.
“I’m surprised you didn’t accuse me yet.” you scoffed.
“Oh I’m getting to it.” he laughed dryly. “What are you doing here anyway? Trying to see if I have a girlfriend?”
You couldn’t even comprehend his sentence when you heard the door shut. You immediately looked back and saw Declan lean against the en-suite door with his arm. His muscles were flexed as he turned to the bedroom door surprised it has shut down.
He made his way over to the door trying to open it only to be unsuccessful. He wiggled the door knob a few times.
“Why don’t you open it?” you asked and he looked back at you like you were stupid.
“What do you think I’m trying to do?”
“I don’t know, you look like you built those muscles for nothing.”
He tried again but in vein. The door was stuck.
“What the fuck?” he said still trying and you started laughing at your faith.
“You’d think after spending millions of pounds the doors wouldn’t be stuck.”
“Would you stop whining?” he asked clearly agitated.
“Only if you open the door.”
“Do you think I want to be stuck here with you?” he harshly asked and you felt your confidence slipping. You were always self conscious when drunk.
When you didn’t respond he turned his attention to you.
“Y/N, I-
“Why do you hate me so much?” you asked finally trying to get an answer to the question you’ve had for months.
“What?”
“Why do you hate me so much?” you repeated.
“I- I don’t hate you.” he murmured but you knew it was a lie.
“Yes you do, you love everyone else. You’re so nice with them but you’re rude to me. I know I’m not the best either but I feel bad when I see you with the others. What is it about me that you hate?” you felt the weight lifting off your chest as you spoke. Yes it was the alcohol that made you say those things but they were true.
“I think we should talk later when you’re not drunk.” he dismissed you and it only angered you more.
“I’m not drunk.”
“Yes you are, you’ve had a million cocktails.”
“How do you know?”
“Because I watch at you anytime you’re not looking!” he raised his voice startling you. In all the time you’ve known Declan he’s never even gotten mad.
“Why? So that you can use the things you see against me?”
“Do you really think that’s what I’m doing? You can’t seriously think I’m going out of my way everyday just to argue with you. I’m watching you because I like seeing you interact with people and it kills me that you’re not that kind to me. I wish you’d be like that with me but if bickering is what gets you talking to me I’m okay with that.” he finally let go of the door and went over to the bed sitting on it without looking at you.
You were in shock about all the things you just heard.
“Declan you’re being mean, you can’t play with me like that!” you shouted at him thinking this was his way of messing with you.
“Do you really think that low of me?” he finally looked up at you and you saw the sincerity in his eyes that everyone was talking about. He looked more genuine than ever. He combed a hand through his hair.
“I- I don’t know.” you murmured conflicted about the whole situation. On one hand you really didn’t think he’d stoop so low but on the other hand you couldn’t believe his admission that easily.
“Why do you act like a prick then?” you asked trying to get to the bottom of it.
“Because that’s the only way you’ll talk to me even if it’s to argue.” he admitted with his head low.
You stood in front of Declan with your hands against your hips trying to wrap your head around the situation but it was hard considering he was wearing a tight shirt hugging his body perfectly and his hair disheveled. With a sudden confidence, you walked closer to him and stood in between his legs and he immediately looked up at you with confusion. If you didn’t have any alcohol in your system you’d never be this forward but with it you could actually do something you actually want for once. You placed your hands on his shoulders as his hands went over to your hips. He was still wary of your reaction but you threw every sane thought away and pushed him onto the bed he was sitting on. He pulled you with him so now you were straddling him, both of you were shocked by your sudden boldness but he didn’t complain. In fact, he never said anything but sat up properly holding you down and started devouring your lips. You kissed back immediately with months of pent up frustration and infatuation.
“You’re so perfect.” he complimented you as his lips found your neck kissing and sucking on your skin. You felt electricity from his touch and cursed yourself for not doing this earlier.
By this time he was slowly pulling your dress straps down your arms and continued his kisses against your chest and you hastily lifted his shirt finally coming in close contact with his abs.
“You have no idea how much I’ve wanted this.” he murmured as he rolled you over so he was on top of you.
“Then why didn’t you?” you asked.
“Because I thought you’d slap me.”
“I’d much rather if you slapped me.” you said without thinking and his eyes turned even darker if that’s possible. His movements became more rough as you gave him the permission and he peeled your dress down your legs leaving you only in your underwear. You’d normally feel vulnerable and exposed if it was any other man but given the circumstances you just felt hot because Declan told you a million times.
“You’re so beautiful.” he kept telling you as you tried reaching for his belt. He let you take it off and now you were both in your underwear.
He did everything right in that moment, making you reach your orgasm multiple times even before he entered you and made everything about making you feel good. Even if it’s the first time you’ve ever had sex with him, it felt like he knew you better than anyone and you loved the feeling.
After both of you reached your highs moaning each other’s name once more he finally pulled out and laid on the bed pulling you to him. Your head was resting on his chest as he played with your hair occasionally leaving small kisses on it.
“I hope you know I meant everything I said.” he whispered and you looked up at his beautiful eyes knowing he wasn’t lying.
“I know.”
“And I’m not letting you go now that I have a taste.” he smiled.
“Does this mean this isn’t a one time thing?” you teased with a smile on your lips.
“Oh definitely not, in fact I was thinking about having a second round right now.” he wiggled his eyebrows as you laughed and lightly smacked his chest.
“Are you guys cool now that you’ve had sex?” you heard someone yell from outside of the door startling the both of you.
“What the hell?” Dec asked with his eyebrows furrowed.
“Yeah idiots, we locked you in there hoping you’d talk it out but this is even better.” you heard Ariana yell and your cheeks flushed knowing they must’ve heard somethings but right now you were more thankful than angry.
“Now come out we’re starving.” one of your friends said and you got out of the bed putting your clothes back on with a smile on your face.
Declan Rice wasn’t that bad after all.

If I score, you’ll kiss me - Declan Rice
Warnings: none
Summary: in which reader visits her best friend at training and he confesses
Declan Rice x female!reader
English is not my first language!
Requests are open!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They had just finished doing the moderate run and right now he was jogging with the rest of the english team.
He would always send a look towards you every time he did the smallest him just to show off. Moreover, he wanted you to be proud of him, even if he knew that you already were. All the team realised that he was showing off to you, he was doing a lot of tricks that he didn’t usually did. Mason and Ben being the ones that teased him the most about it.
After finishing some sets of running, the english man that you were in love with approached you, his sweaty body running towards where you were sitting in the stairs.
“Hey, pretty”, he would always address you by pet names and barely by your name, that because he loved seeing you all flustered and with rosy cheeks. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too, Dec, a lot. But we will be able to spend time together when you finish.” You gently smiled at him and his knees almost give in. He was so in love with you. “Now go, or you will get told off”, you had realised the teasing glances that the team would throw your way, not that you cared but you knew it would be an endless teasing towards Declan.
“But I don’t want to leave you alone.” He pouted, the player knew that he would be reprimanded for leaving training but he couldn’t care less, he was with you after all.
“I’ll be waiting for you, my prince.” You pretended to be a princess from the movies and put your best face of lost lady. You two laughed and he kissed your cheeks sweetly before running back to training after he received a call from the trainer.
They were going to practice penalties, so they got in line and waited for their turn to arrive.
When it was Declan’s time, he shouted in the direction you were in:
“If I score, you’ll kiss me!” And he threw a flirtatious wink at you. You were stunned at his boldness, you never expected him to do something like this, but you were hoping that the goalkeeper didn’t save it.
All the team was paying attention to the West Ham player’s kick. They knew how much heels over head Declan was with you, so they all were hoping it went right.
Declan was tense about this. He didn’t think to be this intrepid with you, he hadn’t thought before saying it and now he couldn’t take it back because he knew everyone had heard it. His heart was pounding hard in his chest. He decided where to kick it, prepared his position, cut the small space between the ball and him and kicked it. There was a thick silence that could be cut with a knife while the ball was in the air. The goalkeeper shot to the right and grazed the ball, but he couldn't save it and Declan scored the penalty. Everyone erupted in cheers, happy that Declan would finally confess to the girl he loved and tired of hearing him ramble about you all the time.
Your best friend ran towards you and you got down from the stairs. He gently cupped your face and he pulled a strand of hair out of your beautiful face. And then he kissed you softly. You welcomed his lips with yours. He slowly invaded your mouth with his tongue and made of the kiss the most sensual and loving one. In which you showed all the love and desire for each other. You reluctantly ended the kiss because you knew he wanted to say something, but neither of you separated much, not after all the waiting for this moment.
“I-You know I’m not good at this stuff. Words, and that. But… You’re important. Very. You have been there for me for a long time and I have fallen for you. For your smile, for your voice, for your eyes, for all of you. And I would really like to take you out on a date.” He closed his eyes after confessing, he was shy right now, even after the boldness that he showed.
“I-I love you too, Dec. I have been waiting to tell you for a long time but never found the perfect one. I like being around you, I like when you are happy, I like your face and I would really really like to go out with you.” You bit your lip while smiling and kissed your best friend, soon-to-be lover, again, something that neither of you ever wanted to finish doing now that you knew how it felt.
