With Naomi's Babies: Bastet😾 (purple sweater) the feistiest of them all, she is the protectress of her mom, surprisingly her and Placide became besties.. He didn't like cats before and Bast used to hate Naomi's ex boyfriend with a burning passion. Horus😻 (in the middle just vibing.. he is sweetest, always gentle and he loves taking very long naps, Cairo😼 (on the right next to the fruit basket stealing food as per usual.. cos this is his specialty😂.. oh umm and making a daily mess in the litter box.. also pissing off his siblings.. basically he is a handful, little troublemaker lol)

Tama pauses as she looks up at the grand painting. "Who.. is that?"

"Sebastian." Arthur answers with a hum. Him, Dolion, and Tama are in the archives of the palace, looking at one of the paintings the queen has. "He's said to be one of the best Songbirds to ever exist."

Tama flicks an ear, looking at the painting. It was a painting of the upper body of the Harmonian. He had black fur, with a small tuft of white fur peaking out from his white suit. His green eyes held a gentle look in them, but his face was still stern.

Her tail flicks. "He looks nice."

"According to the few books we have about him, he was very kind." Dolion nods, a hand on his hip. "He was one of the best Songbirds there ever was. Apparently he even caught the Muses' attention."

Tama ears perk up. "Really?"

"Mhm." Arthur smiles. "It's said that he wrote a song so lively that the Muses would visit him every year to hear him play it. When he passed, they were heartbroken because no one could play and sing that song like he could."

Tama's eyes drift to the chest below the painting and she walks over to the chest. She opens it and pulls out the sheet music inside.

"'The World's Smallest Violin'.." She mutters softly, flipping through. Then she stops. "Huh? Where's the final verse?"

"Lost to time." Dolion shakes his head as he walks over. "That's why the Festival of Joy's Song is held every year. Many say the Muses tend to be in the crowd when it happens, and they want to see if someone can replicate what Sebastian did."

Tama nods softly.

Oh, she was going to regret this so badly.

Tama stands in front of the music stand, looking at the sheet music on it. She held a violin, her tail twitching nervously.

She had asked Arthur for a copy because she was curious. But, in reality.. there was a small part of her that wanted to go to the festival. To play. To do something no one else could.

Her paws tremble before she steadies them. With a soft exhale, she begins playing.

Tama swears that she felt someone guiding her arm.

i guess i experienced in person the emotion towards the japanese lucky cat history some days ago when my cat showed me the way to find my glasses after looking for them everywhere all day and failing miserably

#i was ready to sit down and cry while thinking about how i would tell mama that i lost my glasses somewhere at downtown #when one of my cats - that elegant siamese lady - asked me for some wet cat food and didn't stop begging for it till i serve her #Sooo here we go to the point where i find my glasses on the wet cat food pouches place!#like right after i got home i just the put them away but surprise! not only them but my glasses too and in the same place!#so dumb #anyway got through this whole odyssey under her mystical bright blue eyes that i don't know if they are judging or conjecturing #or just making i won't do anything wrong #she ate gratefully for the food and i ended up feeling a sense of deja vu

Avalice...

That's what the locals called it, but to the galaxy at large? it was CR-B739 a world designated as still in development. There were rules about visiting such worlds and rules against sharing technology with said worlds. However Hex was not a part of those worlds that abided by those rules. He was on the fringe, and operated between the lines but, this was honestly more of a personal trip then anything else. He always took note of those worlds where tails and fur were common, places he could blend in and no one would notice. Avalice was just such a world.

So why was it that no matter how hard he tried he could not catch a break? He found himself in one bad spot after another as the two Bounty hunters were hot on his heels. He thought he'd hide here, it'd be a nice place to hide out! no one was gonna find him! But then these green suited bozos showed up and started asking questions. He felt like he recognized them, weren't those emblems familiar? He couldn't remember and the blaster shot went over his head as he ducked around a corner and SLAMMED into the green feline! but ever so nimble, he touched Carol's shoulders and spun with her keeping himself from falling and her as well! The cool metal of his hand touching her shoulder. His Hologuise failing for a split second as they came into contact.

Hex felt like he recognized her, just stopping to stare at her for what felt like forever. But a blaster shot made him push her across the allyway out of harms way, a spark flashing as it struck his right arm, bouncing off the cool red steel. He didn't have time to think about it he simply turned and made a break for it. A small contingent of Brevon's mechanized soldiers rushing past Carol in broad daylight and chasing after the stranger. No point in the hologuise he realized, so he focused on escape!

" AARRGG! never fails! someone is always shooting at me!? Just once i wanna go someplace and NOT be dodging blaster fire! "

His right arm was limp now, that blaster did its job, must have busted a servo! great just what he needed! Well nothing to do now but figure a way out of this mess!

" COME ON I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU PEOPLE! "
