Rewatch of 7x03, "Alien Commies from the Future"
Favorite scene(s):
- Mackelena in the diner <3
- Deke telling Daisy he’s not the same guy he was in the Lighthouse :’)
- Elena helping May after her panic attack (I just love their friendship)
- Coulson being delighted by how delighted Jemma is at getting to dress up as Peggy Carter
- Coulson being a dork while meeting getting arrested by Sousa
- Jemma and Daisy working together to get the EMP working
- Deke looking absolutely delighted and Mack looking absolutely exasperated when they have to trick Gerald Sharpe into thinking that they’re aliens from the future
Favorite quote(s):
Sousa: Who the hell are you? / Daisy: Who I am is on a need-to-know basis. / Sousa: I need to know!
Coulson: Agent Sousa! Big fan.
Daisy: [Coulson]’s alarmingly strong. / Jemma: Yeah, I keep forgetting!
Other noteworthy stuff:
Jemma-as-Peggy will always look like Jenny from Call the Midwife to me. I can’t unsee it.
I just. Wonder if making Jemma forget Alya is what causes all the issues with D.I.A.N.A. Because she’s already at least a little confused about what she’s supposed to remember.
I remember when I first watched this episode, seeing that first scene between Daisy and Sousa, I was like, “Huh. That’s an . . . interesting meet-cute, if they’re going in that direction.” I kept saying I thought she would end up with Lincoln from that timeline, but deep down I knew this was the direction they were going.

Royal Hockey Love
chapter two
Tumblr media
Secret evenings with MacKinnon in North America, they chat about their childhoods in Schluxemburg. Secret smiles. But Crosby also starts to think that the weight on his shoulders is not a burden, but a privilege and gift
I'm laughing and crying 😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️
Tumblr media
They keep finishing each other's sentences
Tumblr media
Crosby's a cute rich dork but MacKinnon can't help but adore him anyway
My heart has melted. I am a mess.
Cuz after all, Crosby's realizing he has power and prestige that anyone else would kill to have. MacKinnon teaches him about his country's people
Tumblr media
Cinematographer checking in again. You think it's all happy go lucky. Things are going well. He's so happy. He feels so good. He's playing so well
This is my favourite part of the movie that I'll make you rewind and watch over and over again
Tumblr media
Fast forward to after his confrontation with the King and the Royal Guards after that on ice fight and tough game with a nothing bully from MacKinnon's team. "Have you been talking about us? Did you blow my cover to your teammates? To your uncle in the Royal Guard?! I've never felt such betrayal."
Tumblr media
"I can only ever watch out for myself. I will never trust anyone with my heart ever again."
This movie is everything. I'm at the edge of my seat. My heart is breaking for my young prince
Tumblr media
Quick rewind insert: this was that moment right before the big fight that got him thrown out of the game. Chirping from the bench and then when line changes, he launches himself over the boards and then, well, you know. (Ok back to the climax now)
Tumblr media
His father's given him an ultimatum. He can play through to the end of the season. But if he wins the Cup, then he has to leave the NHL and return to Schluxemburg to lead up his charitable initiatives as the Crown Prince. Every game in the playoffs feels like a death march. Especially since he doesn't even have MacKinnon's sweet smiles to lean on and reassure him.
Tumblr media
The pressure has never been this high and tight. It's even worse than before, when the only thing he was worried about was his father finding him. Now, everything is on the line and he's completely alone in his heart.
Tumblr media
Will he do it? Will he shoot the game winning goal? Will he win the Cup? Can he deke around these D-men in these final few seconds of the final playoffs game?

Finally managed to watch the final season of Agents of Shield. Truly a time travel adventure worth waiting for, although I would have prefered to have seen it on actual TV and not “Disney Plus”.
It’s definitely a season that understands its finality, opting for a jaunt through SHEILD’s history with the not-so-subtle aim of getting some more fun references and bringing back old characters. Indeed, the first three seasons get a lot of love, with the return of John Garrett, Jiaying, and even the Malicks and their wacky squid cult. There’s also another Koenig, more Hydra, Shield and Chromicon agents than you can shake a time drive at, along with some guy from Agent Carter. (Also: fun alternate title sequences, including a fully fledged 70′s style sequence.)
Okay, Daniel Sousa isn’t just some guy, but as with all these big interconnected things, the whole “look it’s the guy“ bit doesn’t work if you don’t know who he is. However, the season does a lot to make sure he’s a fully realised character even if you don’t know the backstory. In fact, the whole Daniel/Daisy relationship subplot works pretty well, considering it had to fit into ten episodes between other things. You’d think adding in a new team member in the final season wouldn’t work, but it did. Sousa has his whole “out of time“ deal going on, but he’s also very ernestly good, even in the face of the wacky Agents of Shield problems. Like the time loop episode. Daisy says there’s a time loop and Sousa is like “well how are we fixing this“.
Really if I had to pick out a weak point for this season, it would be the villains. The Chromicons’ motivations are a bit weird, since you’d think with all this time travel and advanced technology they could do a better plan than “retgone Shield and take over the new timeline“. Also, even with all their fancy predictions, they basically lose constanty. Eventually, they have Natheniel Malick as an ally, who trades in his old fate for being Alveus bait to become a discount Mr. Sinister for Inhumans. And also a Quake knock-off. I think he lacks a certain menacing presence, and really he gets narratively side-lined by Kora, Daisy’s not technically evil half-sister. Kora herself mostly works, but her whole plotline would probably have benefitted from another episode or two of space, since she goes from “grr, Daisy and Shield bad“ to “actually I love my new sister“ pretty quickly. Her motivations are little shaky, but that does line up with how she clearly didn’t have long term plans that involved being alive at the point where she was introduced.
The rest of the team also continues to move forward. Coulson now has to deal with being a robot, May gets weird empathy powers, Yo-yo has to deal with her (newly introduced) Backstory Issues and Deke uses his time travel knowledge for good rather than self-enrichment. But also for self-enrichment. Also Mack’s parents die in the alternate timeline. Oof. As always, the cast has a lot of fun interactions, with a lot of different dynamics. Then Enoch dies again and this time it’s a lot more sad. It all leads up the very last “where are they now“ scene, where we see that everyone who survived got their happy ending. Yay!
Also there’s a Fitzsimmons baby! It seemed likely when Malick did the evil mind-meld, and became incredibly obvious in the final episode. Not much Fitz in this season incidentally, but it got an in-universe justification which is nice. Hooray for the dorks in love. Best ship, OTP and all that.
All in all, Agents of Shield is still probably the best live-action superhero show I’ve watched. I like the characters (even Deke), I like the stories, and honestly I like how it became its own thing detached from the MCU. Season seven provides a cool conclusion to the show, with a happy ending that the characters earned.

My Daniel Sousa meta: from AC to AoS with a heavy dose of Dousy
(that absolutely nobody asked for)
I have just been really in my feels over Daniel Sousa lately, so I thought I’d write them down. I am absolutely in love with his character evolution, in particular, what Agents of Shield was able to do with him. I feel like we started off with his character in Agent Carter with a young buck of sorts, trying to prove his worth. There was a bit of inexperience there, a bit of naivete.
Tumblr media
And he had all of these feelings for Peggy Carter that he didn’t know what to do with, but he tried to act on nonetheless. And when it didn’t work out, he ran away, not by going to California, but by jumping into a relationship with someone else before he had properly dealt with his love for Peggy. Outside of his love-life, when you look at him as an agent, he was clearly good at what he did, but he was still learning. Case in point, Samberly took issue with him as a leader because he didn’t take the time to get to know him. Sousa was a good agent, but he was still learning how to be a leader.
Tumblr media
He was also a hero. He was also willing to run into walls, focus on the greater good, even at his own expense!!!!
Tumblr media
I believe he wasn’t just talking about Peggy in that scene in the time loop. I think we was talking from experience. I mean, he risked his life to turn off that portal to the zero matter stuff. He made the sacrifice play. (but more on him focusing on the greater good later).
Tumblr media
Jump forward 6/7 years, and our first introduction to Sousa is of a confident man in charge, a man who has earned his stripes, and knows how to be a commanding leader. He’s no-nonsense the moment he realizes the base has been infiltrated, and he remains that way for the first several episodes of the season he is in.
Tumblr media
I feel like his personality in the first few episodes was just Sousa’s leader persona, the man married to his job, focused on the mission, the greater good. He held tight to that persona as long as he could, trying to maintain control of something, anything. He’s still holding tight to it when he lashes out at Jemma and Deke. But when Deke tells him they were all pulled out of their lives, he starts to realize that he’s not the only one who’s not in control. But it’s when he and Daisy are captured that he realizes that this team is giving their all to this mission, even if they are doing the best they can in the midst of chaos. I think he can, not only see their strengths now, but their weaknesses, their humanity. This allows himself to let down his walls, be more of himself. He doesn’t feel the need to be the man in charge who knows everything. He recognizes he’s not the only one fighting for the greater good, even at his own expense.
And we can’t forget about the incredible detective/agent that Sousa is, and proved himself to be over the years. He’s the one who discovered Peggy was helping Stark. His instincts were always right, and he used that big brain of his to get to the truth, JUST LIKE HE DID WITH HYDRA. (and just like he did with the chronicom bomb)
Y’all, I could cry over the fact that Daniel J. Sousa discovered Hydra DECADES before anybody else, and it led to his death. Not Peggy, not Howard, not anyone else over the years until the events of Winter Soldier, did someone realize that Hydra was still a threat. I can’t imagine the amount of detective work he put in over the years trying to get to the truth about Hydra. How long had he known? How long had he been suspicious of colleagues and missions? A part of me thinks he had been following his hunches since Thompson was shot. I think he followed the clues left by that pin they wore that was actually a Hydra symbol. I feel like Sousa may have lost himself in the job, dedicated himself to ending Hydra, and sacrificed his own personal and love life in the process, for the greater good. As I mentioned earlier, I think Sousa was speaking about himself as well as Peggy when he was talking about Daisy and knowing people like her. He sees his own dedication to the cause in her, and he admires it. And most importantly, he knows how lonely it can be.
(Was he starting to realize he was ready for a relationship? That he was lonely? Is that why he checked his hair before going to meet up with “Peggy” at the beginning of 7x03? Just in case they could pick things up again? I don’t know, but there was something sad about that scene, something lonely.)
But can we talk about Daniel Sousa knowing exactly how to lay on the charm? We should have known from the beginning of his time on AoS. If you look back at the episode where he’s on the train waiting with Coulson, you’ll see the way he confidently flirts with the blonde spy who is trying to get the jump on him. He’s not fooled, not at all. And he plays his part perfectly, acts suave, shamelessly flirts with her, leans in real close to her personal space. These are not the actions of a square incapable of having fun or breaking the rules. These are not the actions of someone who lacks confidence.
And let’s not forget the fake relationship trope and how AMAZINGLY Sousa played that role. That took some bravado and confidence. He f*cking swaggered up to her like...wut? But the way he looked that man-child Gideon up and down as he walked away...I died y’all.
Tumblr media
But the great thing about Sousa, is that being macho and a flirtatious ladies’ man isn’t his true nature. These are not character attributes that he values, but rather, has learned to use over the years when necessary.  I feel like Sousa has had the time and experience from the war, in the SSR, with Peggy, with Violet, and then Shield, to build up his character and his own belief in his abilities, not just as an agent, but as a man who is more than his “aluminium crutch.” He is a hero in his own right, and most importantly, A GOOD MAN. He’s learned to work within the patriarchal society without devaluing women, or himself.
At his core, Daniel Sousa IS absolutely a SQUARE and a DORK, but not because he has to be, but because he CHOOSES to be. And that is extremely gratifying and sexy. Because that means the minute he learned Daisy reciprocated his feelings, he was able to use that charm and flirt. And he was ready and willing to follow Daisy anywhere, even if it meant breaking the rules. But he’s still holding on to his core values that make him a good man and all those square aspects he holds onto.
In closing, Daniel Sousa is capable of being everything Daisy needs, whether it’s soft and caring, flirtatious, daring, adventurous, or a dork who is ready to pick her up when she falls.
And I just think that’s really neat. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

I know this has been said before but I just want to appreciate how this is the first time the whole team immediately got along with one of daisy's love interests (and shipped them even before they were a thing). I just love that so much
No one was particularly fond of miles...Coulson and may because she lied to them and fitz because of his little crush on daisy
Everyone eventually hated ward (and rightfully so because he was a hydra nazi bitch (stans/skyew*rd shippers DNI))
It took them a while to get with lincoln, as far as I remember they were a little apprehensive at first
But sousa...for sousa it didnt take them that long to make him part of the family...and I love that so much. This dorky square who called their bluff within their first interaction...they saved his life, made him a part of the team, made him a key part in their final mission, and they all just immediately got along with him SO WELL
Coulson had been fanboying from minute one and he gave his dad seal of approval ("that makes me happy too" 😊 it makes all of us happy phil)
Yeah sure jemma and sousa didnt have the greatest first interaction...but after their initial fallout he apologizes and I love their dynamic (the few seconds that we got, that is). Her making him a new prosthetic after he enters the ship?? That's the fitzsimmons way of saying welcome to the family. Like she knew he would stay. Her small smile when he decides to stay with them for daisy? Her knowing look after watching him and daisy interact?? The whole "they're your everything" scene??? Girl has always been captain of the ship (even with a scrambled memory)
And mack was just on a whole other level. He interacted with sousa for a whole of maybe 10 seconds and decided that yes we are going to save his life fuck the history books he's one of us now and I love that. Their dynamic may be one of my favourites in the whole show. And let's be honest..without him dousy would have remained pining and clueless idiots for a while. "I dont have any intentions""well then you better get some" As far as shovel talks go, this was one of the best ones out there. And his bet with yoyo? Amazing. Him preventing sousa from running of into the chronicom ship and getting himself killed because daisy will come back and when she does she will need her dork in one piece dammit? Incredible
I don't know what the terms of their bet was, but I will not even for a second believe that yoyo didnt ship them, okay? Because "dont worry too much about daisy"? Their mutual acknowledgement of the fact that they will never not worry about their SOs? She been knew
Even deke...with his what was an extremely childish (and borderline weird) crush on daisy and endless unrequited pining...he saw how happy daisy was around sousa, how crushed she was when she thought danny boy was going to stay behind...and so he took the bullet before she got hurt any further and I love him for it (seriously though deke had such incredible character growth this season it needs to be addressed more)
(Yeah we didnt really get much interaction from may and fitz..but the fact that may is an empath now would mean she knew something was up for a while (esp after the time loops 😏) and considering the fact that fitz saw the future through the time streams...he would have known for years)
(Also sousa writing the fitzsimmons fam letters! As if that isnt the cutest thing ever!)
And the super soft looks that the whole team had during their framework meeting when daisy was talking about sousa 🥺. They're so happy for her I'm so soft for this family
They really said dousy rights huh

I really loved the finale and I am like 98% satisfied but the final scene was just so somber, like even with their little jokes and all the love among them, it was amazing, I just wish the tone had been altogether, happier. So I give you 1 year reunion at Mack & Elena’s wedding:
·       It is nearly a year to the day after they return to their timeline
·       Mack proposes like 3 weeks after they get back and only because it takes that long to debrief everything and get everyone settled and he actually has time to get a ring
·       He’s very classic about it, not down on one knee or anything but its like a romantic date night and he’s flustered which yoyo loves
·       She absolutely makes a joke about ‘it took you long enough’ or some equally adorable reference to their tortoise and the hare relationship
·       They don’t have much time to plan anything because Mack is still director and Yoyo is still an active agent so the team helps out where they can.
·       Jemma ‘I excel at preparation’ Simmons keeps everything organized for them and goes as far as making sure everyone will be present for the event even if she has to book the plane tickets herself
·       THE WHOLE TEAM COMES! I don’t care how busy they are, they make time because this is important and Mack and Elena deserve it!
·       Their faith is important to both of them so I feel like they would get married in a church but a have a casual reception.
·       Weddings are notoriously long and slow, yoyo would be bouncing on the balls of her feet by the end of it, so they keep it fairly simple
·       she wears a pretty dress but refuses to wear heels
·       Little Alya Fitzsimmons is their flower girl
·       Flint is too old to be a ring bearer, but he absolutely holds the rings for them during the ceremony
·       Its not a big wedding but its more than just the team, agents who Mack and Yoyo have befriended since getting back and whatever family they might have left
·       Bobbi and Hunter are there, I don’t know nor care how they just are
·       Its so much fun to see everyone dressed up, Flint absolutely teases May about it and proceeds to tell everyone how she is actually everyone’s favorite lecturer/professor. Daisy and Coulson are thrilled by this information
·       Coulson gets May to dance once
·       May is saved from a second dance when Alya comes running up to dance with her Grandpa Coulson
·       Daisy checks on Daniel a lot because she can just see him taking everything in but he assures her he’s fine and weddings hadn’t actually changed that much in 70 years, maybe just the type of music and dancing
·       She asks him to show her how they would have danced in the 40s and 50s. He reminds her he would be a bit out of practice but she doesn’t care. He blushes when she offers to teach him how they dance now because he still doesn’t know how that’s considered dancing
·       When he still looks lost in his own thoughts, she ask’s him again if he’s okay and he just says he really likes happy endings because its too soon to tell her what he’s actually daydreaming about
·       Daisy tries not to think about it either because it is too soon, isn’t it? She’d never really even considered the idea before but this dork she found, he made it seem so right
·       It doesn’t help matters that yoyo chucks her bouquet right at her, nearly taking out a few other guests in the process
·       Jemma is more subtle, giving her a knowing look as daisy fiddles with the last few petals in Alya’s flower basket. Alya is asleep in Jemma’s arms, crashed from too much cake. Daisy changes the subject and offers to hold Alya so Jemma can go dance with Fitz
·       Jemma is more than happy to take her up on the offer
·       Fitz and Jemma enjoy the moment of peace because they know how rare they are with a 4-year-old around
·       It doesn’t stop them from sharing a look as they watch their daughter. She has popped up and is now begging auntie daisy to ‘quake’ something. A faint bell like sound mixes with the music as daisy holds her hand out towards the table and the champagne flutes begin to vibrate. Alya applauds sleepily, her little hands missing each other a couple times
·       Jemma immediately asks Fitz if he wants another one. He absolutely does
·       There are several speeches, Coulson, Daisy and Fitz all have wonderful and embarrassing things to say.
·       Mack and Elena thank everyone for being there with them to celebrate and ask for a moment to remember those who couldn’t be there
·       They even play a couple of ‘the deke squads’ covers because Mack knows that he’d be there if he could be and the songs put a smile on everyone’s faces
·       Mack and Yoyo are ridiculously happy by the end of the night. Its mostly the team left now. Coulson teases them about when they’ll have kids.
·       Everyone promises to see each other soon. Its hard to get them all together so they drag their feet a little until Alya cries that she’s tired and Fitzsimmons has to go. Elena bumps Daisy’s shoulder as she and Daniel go to leave. She mutters ‘yours is next’ under her breath and ‘I’m not losing another bet to turtle man’
·       Flint and May have class in the morning and Coulson is their ride so eventually it is just the newlyweds left. They honeymoon’s not until next week, they’re just to busy. Yoyo is supposed to meet Piper and Davis in just a few hours for their next mission so they enjoy the little time they do have together.

after all the Chloe and Jeff shenanigans, what I need now in season 6 is Daisy trying to find Deke a girlfriend, or a boyfriend, or any kind of life partner

Things I would like to see in a potential Deke TV/Comic spinoff:
I know this won’t happen but there’s no harm in playing with ideas!
Deke has an intense double life as a world-famous rock legend and a not-so-world-famous Director of SHIELD
Lots of Deke Squad action both on stage and in the field
The team having left a huge influence on the man Deke becomes, even though Deke himself would deny it
He still names a bunch of stuff after them tho
He basically becomes a weird uncle to young Mack and his brother. One day they tell him that they love him and Deke struggles to hold in the tears.
Future SHIELD rookies getting super excited to meet the big boss man for the first time but then they’re like how? on earth?? is this dork in charge???
Deke is bros with literally every single agent
Even Peggy Carter (who did not get blown up)
She takes on the mantle of being constantly exasperated by him
She rolls her eyes even before he enters a room but still trusts him to be in charge
One day she tells him that he reminds her of her old friend Daniel Sousa, who he claims to have apparently met when he travelled back in time. It’s unclear whether she believes him or not.
Oh yeah, you have to be at least Level 10 to unlock Deke’s tragic backstory. That’s like, written in the SHIELD rulebook. That he wrote.
There’s like a hundred different theories about who or what Deke actually is and why the heck there is literally no trace of him anywhere and how he knows so much about random things
The most popular theory is that he’s a benevolent super-powerful alien being. Deke secretly started that rumour himself.
People below Level 10 constantly beg the few Level 10 agents to reveal just a titbit of info about him, but the agents just look at them dead serious and tell them that you’d never believe them
Nobody actually knows how much of what Deke claims is the truth since every single fact about him is outlandish and/or impossible
The only proof they have of anything is his oracle-like knowledge and the deep, circular scar on his wrist…
Speaking of, various others of Deke’s traumas come to light. Sort of like how in season 6 he didn’t want anything going on his wrist. Because there is no way he starts this new life mentally unscathed
Some of his close friends notice these little things about him and suddenly know to be more gentle despite his happy-go-lucky quirkiness
They don’t know exactly what he’s been through, but they know it must of been hell by the way he reacts to some ordinary things so negatively
Deke picks out a young Phil Coulson as a SHIELD agent and has a little too much fun ordering the poor oblivious guy around
Deke runs SHIELD for years, even when he decides he’s too old to be in the field himself
One day, when strutting through the Daisy SHIELD Academy, he bumps into two young science students
They stammer through an apology and the guy has to practically drag the girl away to stop her from fangirling over him (which Deke enjoys immensely) but he excuses himself from his duties and heads straight home
At home, he cries tears of both joy and sadness over seeing his Nana and Bobo again after so long, even though they’ll never know how much they mean to him
It makes him uncomfortable how much they idolise him in this timeline
He tries to check in with them as often as he can, but from a distance
Because he knows that they aren’t his Nana and Bobo, and they never will be.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice) (go off moony go off)
oh wow in this essay i will-
I think the main thing i’ve wanted to see more of would be romantic philinda moments. Not the intense, angsty type moments like in the show, but more like the quiet and sweet moments where nothing is really happening but their love speaks volumes yk? Like the hug after maveth but more romantic. Idk i just feel like we really missed out on seeing Coulson being a love-sick sap and May just smiling because he’s a dork but he’s her dork.
MAMA MAY. I know we saw a lot of Mama May with Robin and Daisy and yeah but I feel like there could’ve been so much more moments to show just hiw much May loved her bus kids. I don’t know some acknowledgment would’ve been nice. I wish we could’ve seen the bus kids acknowledge that she was their mom, biological or not, and that they love her. The whole Mama May thing she had going on was so wasted because yes we had those little moments, but there could’ve been a time when Daisy admitted that May was everything she hoped her mom would be and wow that would be a dream
MORE MAY. MELINDA QIAOLIAN MAY DESERVED A BETTER ENDING THAN THE SHIT SHE WAS GIVEN IN SEASON 7. look, i’m not saying this just because i have an acc that is literally MelindaMayOwnsMe but in a critical standpoint, May is such a diverse character and she has SOOOOOO much possible storylines and her character is so in depth and so beautifully created and JedMo took that for granted and didn’t use her to her full capacity. time and time again May is used as a plot device. She was literally just used as a stand-in for plots to move for other characters. Bahrain? used as a manipulation for skye to move forward her arc as an orphaned inhuman. HER EX HUSBAND LITERALLY TURNING INTO A MONSTER WAS COMPLETELY DISREGARDED AFTER IT WAS USED AS A PLOT. and not to mention the shit writing that was Coulson not even fucking trying to reach out to her AFTER SHE SHOT HER EX HUSBAND 4 TIMES IN THE CHEST. HER TURNING INTO AN LMD WAS USED FOR THE FRAMEWORK ARC. HER DEATH WAS USED AS A PLOT DEVICE. CAUSE IT’S SOOOOO REALISTIC FOR HER BEST FRIEND, THE GUY WHO WAS FEELING MORE THAN JUST FRIENDSHIP TOWARDS HER IN THIS SEASON, DIDN’T FIGHT MORE AND DIDN)T REACT MORE WHEN HE LEARNS SHE DIED. CAUSE WOW IT’S LIKE YOU KNOW IT’S NORMAL. NO IT’S NOT FUCKING NORMAL SHE IS A PERSON. SHE HAS EMOTIONS. THE SHOW TRIED TO MAKE HER HAVE EMOTIONS BUT WHEN IT MATTERED THE MOST THEY BRUSH IT ASIDE AND JUST DOESN’T BOTHER REALLY DEVELOPING IT LIKE LETS SAY JEMMA OR YOYO OR EVEN DEKE?!?!?! (no hate to any of them) AND NOT TO MENTION LITERALLY TAKING AWAY HER EMOTIONS IN SEASON 7 AND NOT EVEN EXPLAINING ANYTHING AFTER AND JUST USING IT AS A PLOT DEVCE. i’m so sick of having May, and in consequence Ming, sidelined and underrated and not appreciated enough for all that she can, and will, bring to the table if given the chance. JedMo didn’t give her that chance and they both deserved better.
yes everything i wanted more of was related to May. Are we surprised? No. I’m just really sad that May still didn’t get the recognition she deserved after everything she’s been through. And at the end her story wasn’t wrapped up properly and it’s so disappointing as a fan. More of my weird opinions here.
