Sire bond: Good or Bad?

Attention all DErs I have a question. I want to know... For those who liked it.. What is it about the sire bond that makes you guys like it so much?? I just don't understand. I really don't. I hated the sire bond. I thought it was annoying. I mean, I get it's supposed to be an obsticle for Delena or whatever, but I just don't understand. Please, explain to me how and why you think it's good. I really want to understand. If you can explain it to me that would be so awesome. I just don't get it. I thought the sire bond was annoying and just stupid to be bluntly honest. Not hating, I promise I just don't get it.

Damon: Self-centered?? Please!

So, I was on Facebook today and saw someone said in a comment that Damon is self centered. He came to Mystic Falls for love. Turns out the woman he thought loved didn’t love him at all. He compelled Jeremy for her. When no one else offered. He did it FOR HER knowing she hated him at that time. He danced with Elena during the Miss Mystic Falls dance because Stefan was nowhere to be found and he didn’t want her to be left embarassed. He told her he loved her and he let her stay with Stefan because he felt he wasn’t good enough to be with her. He saved Caroline and Matt from getting bit by a werewolf. He gave Rose her dream of being in the sunshine again before she died. Yes, he killed her, but she was dying anyway. He didn’t want her to suffer anymore. He helped Elena search for Stefan when Stefan never wanted to be found. He set Elena free and helped bring her humanity back. He helped search for the cure so Elena could have it. KNOWING there was the possibility she would’ve gone back to Stefan. He not only brought back Elena. He brought back Enzo, Tyler, Stefan AND Alaric. He saved Sheriff Forbes AND not to mention ALL of Mystic Falls. Dying in the process! So, please, tell me how Damon is self-centered. You're a moron and you need to watch the show again and pay attention.

The Vampire Diaries Season 1-Episode 1-The Pilot: Review

It opens with a foggy background. An unidentified man begins narrating that he’s from Mystic Falls and further reveals that he’s a vampire. The next scene depicts a couple driving and talking in a car. Suddenly, the couple runs over a man with their vehicle who is lying in the road. The victim is unknown, we can only see his apparently lifeless body. The couple then ends up dead at the hands of the mysterious stranger lying in the middle of the road. The show then cuts to a female teenager sitting on her bedroom floor, writing in her diary. As she writes, there is a voice over of her discussing how she has to put on a happy face because she is sad about something that’s happened to her. This teenager is then revealed to be Elena. The audience learns that she lives with her Aunt Jenna and her youngest brother, Jeremy. As viewers, we are already hooked into and invested in the story line, waiting to see what happens next.The next scene cuts to Elena in a car with a female friend of hers named Bonnie. Bonnie stops at a stop sign and a crow comes crashing into their windshield. It is a bit of a jarring experience, but they brush it off. Elena tells Bonnie that she's not going to be afraid of cars for the rest of her life and they continue to drive to school. The viewer is then introduced to Mystic Falls High School. We soon meet Caroline, Elena’s other best friend. Elena’s brother, Jeremy, gives drugs to a character named Vicki and her boyfriend, Tyler. It is immediately apparent that Jeremy and Tyler do not like each other much. As Bonnie and Elena stand outside the school attendance office, we see the back of a mysterious looking young man. The mystery man is shown talking to a female school official seated behind a the desk. The mystery man is actually the vampire from the opening scene of the show. He seems to mentally persuade the woman to allow him to enroll as a student in the school. Later, Elena goes into the bathroom and busts Jeremy putting eye drops in his eyes. As Elena leaves the bathroom, she runs into they mysterious vampire. They introduce themselves and we learn the vampire’s name is Stefan. Fast forward to Elena in a cemetery looking at her parents’ tombstones. The fog returns and so does the familiar crow. We see a mysterious, unidentified man in a black leather jacket standing in the fog. We then cut to Stefan and Elena running into each other again. Elena falls and Stefan helps her up. Elena’s leg begins to bleed as a result of the fall and we see Stefan’s vampiric instincts for the first time as he runs after her, smelling the blood. Mystic Falls’ hot spot is called Mystic Grill, where we see many of the characters interact. At the Grill, the viewer sees Vicki and Jeremy arguing over Tyler. We meet a new character, Matt, who is talking to Bonnie. It is revealed in their conversation that Elena broke up with him and he is, in fact, Elena’s ex-boyfriend. Fast forward again and we see Caroline hitting on Stefan at a party. He turns her down and continues to pursue Elena. Vicki gets lost in the woods then is attacked by the mysterious man we saw at the beginning of the episode. Elena and Stefan have an emotionally intense conversation while walking together. The viewer learns that Elena’s parents died in a car accident on a bridge. She tells Stefan about Matt and her previous relationship with him, stating that there was no passion. Later in the episode, the viewer sees Stefan looking at a picture of a woman who looks so much like Elena, she could be her twin sister. It is then revealed the mysterious man’s name is Damon and he is Stefan’s older brother. The two of them bicker and argue with one another, a scene that viewers will see many times throughout the course of this series. Damon throws verbal jabs at Stefan, teasing him about Elena. We then learn the woman in the picture is Katherine, Stefan’s former lover. The show then cuts to Bonnie and Elena at a party. Bonnie touches a beer bottle and sees a crow and states it is only the beginning. The scene then quickly cuts to a montage of Damon checking Caroline out and Elena writing in her diary again. The scene ends with Vicki waking up in the hospital with her older brother, Matt, by her bedside. Vicki recounts a horrifying tale of being attacked by a vampire and that concludes Episode 1. There may have been a few details I missed here and there, but for those who have viewed the first episode, I believe my recap gives you the general idea. I was intrigued by The Vampire Diaries from the first time I heard about the show. I loved the show from the very beginning. I was immediately invested in the characters, the quality of the acting and the intriguing plot twists and mysteries presented within the pilot episode. My thoughts on the characters… I didn’t care for Vicki, at all. I didn’t like how she treated Jeremy. I didn’t like how she just let Tyler walk all over her. I didn’t care much for Tyler, either. Now, let’s talk about a character I actually like, lol. I love Bonnie, I think she’s an awesome person and such a good friend to Elena. Now, I have to admit I’m not a big fan of Stefan’s ... I was in the beginning but now... not so much. Caroline, as a human, I thought she was shallow and conceited. I didn’t like how she came on to Stefan and basically threw herself at him. It was kind of desperate. I love her now, as a vampire, but definitely didn’t as a human. She still has her faults now, of course, but I love her. I feel she's a much stronger character and doesn't take crap from anyone. She confronted Damon about what happened between the two of them when her memories returned to her. She was tortured and still came out stronger. I love her friendship with Stefan and I hope that it blossoms into something more. She's still very neurotic at times, but I still adore her. I guess you could say I prefer vampire Caroline to human Caroline. Damon, ooooh Damon... I hated him in the beginning, I thought he was such a jerk. Of course, that changed after watching the rest of the series. I adore him now. I loved Aunt Jenna, I think she’s amazing.. She’s not sure how to be a parent to Elena and Jeremy, but she learns and I think she does a wonderful job with them. Well, that’s it... I hope you liked my review.. Just an Intro

Where do I being lol. Lets start with the obvious.. I love The Vampire Diaries, I ship Delena. I love to write and I'l be using this account to post reviews of the show. I'll do each episode from each season. Once a week.  This should be lots of fun for me I'll probably lose my mind but it will give me something fun to do.

I've always wanted to write reviews for stuff and now I'm going to do it with one of my favorite TV shows :) To keep it up to date when I'm not reviewing I'll post rants and what not on all things TVD :)

I don't do shipping wars so any negativity will be kept off my page. I'll share my thoughts and leave it at that. You may disagree, but DO NOT call names or attack. Be kind, be respectful and most of all have fun and enjoy!
