Heya Professor! Dont know if we met but...has there been where typing mixed? Like a pokemon who has a type that they shouldnt even have?
Of course! Though a rather uncommon trait, some Pokémon are born with a different typing to most of their species. These are known as Delta Pokémon.
This new type can either replace an existing type of the species would normally have two, or as s type of the species is monotype. As an example, a Ghost Delta Bulbasaur could be a Grass/Ghost or a Ghost/Poison type, while a Ghost Delta Snivy has to be a Grass/Ghost type. They must keep one of their original typings.
I actually have a recessive Delta gene, evidenced by my middle child being a Delta. This means I am not a Delta Pokémon myself, but I can pass the trait onto any children I might have.
“While it does not mind sharing its pastry with others, it will stab thieves with its fork. Its body is quite cold in order to preserve the freshness of its cake.“ Delta Crustle (Cake form) stimboard from Pokémon Insurgence for @unb-eli-evable
Finished my delta only egglocke on Insurgence. Good news: I got no deaths on the Elite 4. The MVP's were Delta Crustle Sweetstuff and Tritin (Unintended misspelling of Triton).
These guys are the Delta variant of the Johtoian yanma line, only seen in the Holon region and have a Grass/flying typing rather than bug/flying. They are known to be ambushers there due to the camouflage abilities of their leaf Wings and body despite this they still retain the great flying capabilities of their Johtoian counter parts.
My take on a Fairy Ghost Zorua! I had the typing made up for a long time. Since before 2015. I never really got around to making a good design for it. This is a design for a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon style campaign my roommate is finally doing. It's been in the works for 8 or so years. I finally get to play Kalypso. 🦊
@typhra this is a pretty generic idea but i just thought of a water type charmander, i like delta mons/type swaps and this was fun to do, thank you for your request :]
heres a fact about Delta mismagius: during in winter season these pokemon become more powerful naturally, and tend to spread joy to those around them, this is apparently due to a hormonal change that happens only in the winter seasons.
