— Appearance Description -> Augustus is quite the mix, between a Lizard-Snake and a Lamia, you could say he’s got not the worst side of the gene pool.

The little prince has a frill around his neck like that of his father, along with hair like his mother.

He has three pair of arms, similar to the mother of Julius, the king of diamonds. He has a tail coloured in white with scales of multiple colours on it …

His hair is a pale green, with white reflects. He has sharp teeth, and often wears a toy like crown.

— Personality -> Augustus can be a bit of a brat at times, but is very discreet about being one. He’s absolutely obsessed with gems and jewels, but hoards them instead of wearing them. Chrysolite often has the only jewels she has stolen, and scolds him a bit.

She spoils him maybe a bit too much, and he loves her back with all he can.

August is often scared of judgement, due to his young age and inexperience in royalty manners.

Nevertheless, he stays quite the mischievous child, and won’t hesitate to get servants fired if they do one wrong move.

Damn... This is a harder question than it seems, because it is... hard to remember? My brain got SO rotted with Soulsborne world that I legit am forgetting how things used to be before that? It doesn't help that my feelings about the character and how much I talk about them / do for them do not always match! As a result, I have three types of blorbos:

1) The 'real' blorbo: The one that evokes the most feelings and I actively fantasize about being with, one that sparks yearning and attraction and consumes the most of my thoughts, but I won't do enough with

2) The 'productive' blorbo: The one which I practically breathe life in and create entire story and world for when canon didn't provide much and/or this character is unpopular. They often become crucial part of my online identity, or JUST my identity o_o'

3) The 'fanmade' blorbo: It is either an AU version of the character, an interpretation so unfitting and far from canon vibe that it almost works as an OC, or JUST an OC. I actually love/hate this one, because this is the asshole that will always make me stray from working on canon!! They will make me focus so much on them that depending on the nature of the character, I will forget the canon vibe in my love for this version or will forsaken general source material to join an AU/RP where this character is. Let me focus on canon-palatable creativity and stop wasting my time, dipshits!!

So, to give you the idea, in Bloodborne, type one would be, of course, Micolash, Edgar and Maria (but mostly Micolash)! Type two would be Rom and Izzy. And since recently my Laurence is between 1 and 2 because he is really S E X Y but also I have to create everything for him xD. Type three would be... uh...

My previous "fandom" was UTDR, but that stay was a little short-lasting, since Deltarune is work in progress and Undertale did not have the same grip on me. In there, my type one blorbo were Rouxls Kaard and Mettaton! You can tell I love the flamboyant sexy man with fake depth, fair level of depravity but not evilness, and intelligence of a brick dshhfdsdds My art never felt good enough to capture Mettaton's confident energy, however, I'd like to show this fanart of Rouxls:

Type two blorbo were Mad MewMew, Catti, and Diamond King! The latter two were sort of underdeveloped in canon at the time, and for MewMew I actually had a bunch of things, and even RPed as her for some time! Developing Diamond King was quite fun, though he was dangerously close to type 3 because of AU stuff where HE was the bad guy and not Spade King (and Catti was the 'monster' of the prophesy). Besides, we did give him a wife who is not getting used in canon but exists in the cards deck that WAS used for the 'cards'.

(EDIT: I made these sprites and I forgot that I made them and not Val o_o" Because it's been a few years ago + I am scatter-brained. Oh jeez)

And type three happened when I delved into helping to work on an AU for Deltarune, a project a passionate person started in hunger for completion of Deltarune, following after Chapter 1 and ignoring everything. Basically, attempt to finish the game that had AMAZING story and characters! I lended many designs, ideas and characters for it, improving it very significantly. I no longer work on that project and gave all rights to my designs and creative solutions to the developer, but it was FUN. And like I said, distracted me from the canon-palatable creativity. And helped me to finally come to terms with the fact that I am way better at nurturing, supporting, editing and improving someone else's projects than creating my own. It was a long time coming realisation considering how half of my drawings for any fandom used to be fanart of other people's ideas and OCs or fanart for our RP plots. Not something that can happen in this fandom because... you know. But yeah, I've always been the guy that would draw a pile of everyone's OCs/interpretations in the community, or help someone with no coherent design idea to GET that design down!

...ak-hem, where was I? Right, blorbos. So, the 'fanmade' blorbos were, of course, our version of Diamond Queen and... this BITCH:

This is Ace of Hearts! And Insight joke is actually something I just made up, since I made this guy before I knew anything about Bloodborne! It aged like fucking milk, hahahahaha!! To give you the idea of what I had to do to design the Aces, here are the cards by Kanotynes that Toby was using:

These are the face cards ( x )! If you saw Deltarune's chapter one, you can see how and which designs were used, and which changed.

And this is the only image of all cards I can reliably find ( x ). You can see that number cards were de-personalised and are just various things. So what I did was combining the face card look and find a way to "fuck it up", since Aces learned A LOT of 'Chaos' and not only part of it like Jevil (and now Spamton)! Here are the rest of them:

You can tell, even in healthy forms, they'd still be a bit... 'strange' compared with face cards. Ace of Clubs in healthy form would have only one head and one horn, and his 99 Insight Chaos version has 11 heads each with one peace of their body or face... And Ace of Diamonds would be a snake with 'umbrella' skin, which is nothing like other Diamond suits!

I was the one to insist that we have Aces in the project, conceptualised them, designed them, wrote them lore etc. And Ace of Hearts was my favourite, and also the scariest one. (of course I like the most creepy one -_-) It was also the first situation where I got obsessed with my OWN non-canon stuff... although, technically, they are no longer mine, since I passed the designs and right to write and use to the owner completely. Maybe it is to the better, as I moved closer towards enjoying my own content more!

Name: Jacques (pronounced Sz-ahk) ("jack" works too. just not jak-quez)

Pronouns: they/it

Object: Jack of hearts playing card

Favorite Color: Royal blue

Character Information: [cracks knuckles] ok soooo Jacques is an adult modern object, who is a hybrid between organic and electric objects. While they are majorly organic, having to eat food and being able to bleed, they have some electric traits (which are more detrimental than anything). This includes “glitching” on occasion, which is exceptionally painful for them. Their most notable trait is their ability to “pop out” of their card. Their arms are slightly stretchy to complement this. They physically can’t remove themselves from their card’s background entirely. Even if they could, doing such would induce fatal injury. It can’t bring foreign items into the card with itself, the only thing exempt from this are its two hand axes (which. are actually a part of itself). Despite its two-headed appearance, Jacques is a single entity. It prefers to use its top head more than its bottom head. Has blue blood and yellow tears because I thought it would look cool. Jacques descends from a eusocial colony of playing card objects who all worship and serve the demands of their creator, an organic computer tower they call “The Dealer”. In. Card People Land (name pending). Their societal class is determined by the value of the card they are (a three of diamonds card would be equivalent to a peasant, queen of clubs would be. well. a queen etc). Jacques, being a jack, had a pretty decent status, though it’d sometimes dream about being the emperor of its own nation. One day, they left to get supplies only to come back to find that everyone in their colony, The Dealer included, had disappeared. Since then, it's been aimlessly wandering the wasteland in search of any semblance of wealth or power, hardened to the harshest of conditions (lie). Absolutely refuses to show compassion to anyone, out of fear that they too will vanish. If you express any sort of companionship to them its brain will short circuit (metaphorically).

Personality: Imagine if Principal Scudworth from clone high 2002, Rouxls Kaard from deltarune, and Hamlet from Hamlet were one guy and also french. Words to describe them more specifically go as follows: Egotistical and entitled, classist, greedy, mistrustful, and aggressive yet cowardly. [grabs them shakes them vigorously]

Goal: Being the very last of its kind, Jacques sees it as their duty to keep the legacy of the card kingdom alive at all costs. Even better, they might be able to live out their fantasy by crowning themselves the ruler of the safe haven.

Favorite food: Gruel. It LOVES a good slop.

As a follow up to the rouxls post I made, I want to explain how rouxls kaard looks out of place compared to the other card characters.

So, to start, our of all the 52 cards that are in a standard deck(not including jokers or rules cards) we only see a small handful. However, of those few, plus with the original concept art (which includes the 4 queens, which are not shown in the game) we can see there is a general trend in appearances.

Spades are some sort of round mammal like creature(like a hamster), diamonds are snake-like, clubs are cats and hearts are hearts…(maybe slug like idk but they don’t look human).

Rouxls looks out of place by being arguably the most human looking of them all with hair and all that.

His sprite in the light world is also inverted in comparison to lancers (but to be fair we can only compare one with the other and we see no other card this close up in the light world

(Also if I may add if you invert the top image of rouxls you see someone very very familiar, not saying he literally is him just pointing it out)

This could just be an oversight and I am just looking into it too much but if it was on purpose it could mean something. It could be that

He may not be originally from that specific deck and could have been added, created or replaced to the deck

He is Gaster’s horcrux

Could still be from the original deck but since rules cards aren’t playable cards like everyone else they tend to vary based off manufacturer and version hence being off theme(most likely answer)

May be the rules card from a different game, idk tarot cards, jenga, deltarune etc

Idk he just feels off theme which is probably intentional

PAPYRUS takes the Role of ASGORE. He is the CHIEF of the Subterranean Realm.

SUSIE takes the Role of UNDYNE. She is a rebellious student at Cloudy Cliffs Academy.

NOELLE takes the Role of ALPHYS. She is a member of the Monster Scouts trying to raise money for her Father's treatment.

TORIEL takes the Role of ASRIEL. She is the Former queen who died in a tragic accident.

ASGORE takes the role of CHARA. He is the former King who died in a tragic accident.

CHARA takes the role of MONSTER KID. They are a human, and a student at Cloudy Cliffs academy.

ASRIEL takes the role of MUFFET. He, Like Noelle, is a member of the Monster Scouts.

UNDYNE takes the role of GRILLBY. She has a Diner Called Spears and Grease.

ALPHYS takes the role of BURGERPANTS. She is the Scout leader for the Monster Scouts and you can go to her to buy Monster Scout products.

AZREAL from HELLSPAWNTALE REBOOTED takes the role of SANS. They are the Sidekick to the Maple Mage.

EMILY from HELLSPAWNTALE REBOOTED takes the role of PAPYRUS. She is the Maple Mage.

HELLSPAWN from HELLSPAWNTALE REBOOTED takes the role of NAPSTABLOOK. She is a former Member of the Monster Scouts who likes slacking off in The COAST.

FROST from HELLSPAWNTALE REBOOTED takes the role of METTATON. He is the top fundraiser in the Monster Scouts and has a goal of helping Noelle get the money she needs for her Father.

Frisk stays the same as always, just a little change in design.

Muffet, Grillby, and Burgerpants all work at Undyne’s diner.

There are 4 locations of Spears and Grease. The one in The COAST has Muffet, the one in Maple Midtown has Grillby, the one in Cloudy Cliffs has Bpants, and the one in Frigid Fields is run by Undyne herself.

Blooky and MTT still appear in the AU. Alphys is the retired royal scientist who retired after the DT experiments. MTT is a Frigid Fields Miniboss. He’s got the box.

Blooky is a Maple Midtown Miniboss.

The Underground is Renamed to be "The Subterranean Realm."

The SOUL is renamed to be the ESSENCE. It is Diamond Shaped.

Frisk's ESSENCE is SPRING GREEN.

Chara's ESSENCE is SEA BLUE.

SNOWDIN becomes Maple Midtown, with Emily Acting as the Maple Mage, and Azreal as her Sidekick. They are both basically zombies of 2 of the fallen humans who lost their memories, but still had leftover DT in them. They somehow can live without their ESSENCES attached to them, and as long as their ESSENCES are around, they can still feel love. Their ESSENCES are returned to them In true Pacifist and All neutral routes. (Except if Emily Dies)

WATERFALL becomes Cloudy Cliffs, the only area in the Subterranean Realm with Clouds. Susie is a rebellious student at the prestigious Academy where Monsters learn about their history and how to fly using Their Academy Jetpacks. Frisk is mistaken for a new student and is partnered with Chara for the assignment of going through the entirety of Cloudy Cliffs. Susie attacks Frisk because she NEEDS the A+ or she'll be sent back to live at home, and she DOES NOT want that, so she stops Frisk a lot along the way to try and get ahead of Frisk. Chara also grows pretty close to Frisk and realizes not ALL humans are bad. Chara then becomes a permanent party member.

HOTLAND becomes Frigid Fields, where Monster scout Noelle Holiday, is raising funds for her Father's treatment. Asriel is a Monster Scout too, and eventually, at the end of it all, we find Frost forcing you into a REAL battle so he can help Noelle. He fights you in the SCOUT HEADQUARTERS, which is what the CORE becomes.
