Gosh, I'm so tired of all these inappropriate hateful jokes about Berdly. Maybe 2 years ago some of these jokes were a little funny but now they make me cringe. Like, are people really incapable of finally starting to relate normally to the character, or do they just have a subpar IQ and can’t come up with better jokes?

Sorry, but from the very release of the 2nd chapter of Deltarune I considered jokes like “ Burghley”, “NeRdly”, “FroZeN cHicKen”, “cHicken nuGets” to be simply IDIOTIC. Seriously, what's funny about the fact that Berdly was frozen to death by his own CHILDHOOD FRIEND? And this despite the fact that at that moment he was really worried about Noelle and during the fight he attacked only Kris..

To be honest, I never liked this kind of humor. And no matter how annoying the character is, I’m not going to despise them and make such vile jokes. I just won't care about them, that's all. And it would be fine if these were just jokes. But some seriously hate FICTIONAL character and even wish him dead 💀 And they even go through this whole Snowgrave several times just to see how poor Kris forces Noelle to freeze her close friend.

Now I understand why Kris is so desperate to get rid of “their” soul knowing how far WE can go...

constantly thinking abt how in Undertale the consequences for violence are immediate and lasting while in Deltarune you have to actively work to make violence "stick". like not that there's no neutral vs pacifist differences but the plot absolutely continues on as if nothing happened while Undertale a single death changes the entire ending and structure. the way a broken snowgrave run immediately reroutes everything back onto the rails. the quick dismissals and movings on. it just feels like the entire world is trying to avoid thinking about violence or assigning consequences unless forced to do so

i just had the most perfect idea for a deltarune concept.

basically you play as Spamton after snowgrave, he was able to escape his frozen neo suit though the head opening, and he finds berdly frozen up, and he basically frees them and now Spamton and berdly are trying to survive a never ending snowstorm, while meeting some survivors from snowgrave, like tasque manager (which also becomes a main member of your party), a weird Virovirokun, and Spamton old pal the blue Addison (which I will be naming blue).

they also meet a little FRIEND during their journey, I won’t say who tho… but they sure like to pretend..

Anyways i might call this weird au i came up with “DELTARUNE after the snowstorm”. I honestly really like the concept and I might think of more stuff for it, maybe some more concepts, or even a mock up video?? Idk, but I do wanna make more of this idea
