Okay, i'm curious:
If you identify as more than one of these labels just pick the one you feel more strongly connected to :)

it's demigender awareness day, so i tried to do something.
i tried making a demimaverique symbol based on the comet symbol, and based on other demigender symbols being "half" symbols of their allogender counterpart.

Demifemby Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Demifemby (demifembie, semifemby, hemifemby) or demifemenby: being partly femby, partly something else; partial non-binary femininity; part enby, part fem; demifem demienby; demifeminine deminonbinary.
Not to be confused with demifeminenby. The other half can be anything else.

I don't know if someone did this already so imma just start it: trans, non-binary and folks of other genders, how did you find your name and why did you choose it?
I'll start:
Everything started way back early in my life. I've always hated my name. It was a feminine one, not the problem since I'm demigirl but what's been bothering me was that it didn't feel like it is my name, you know? It probably sounds weird but it just was like that, my whole life. I started thinking about a name change (at least a non legal one) like a year or two ago, around the time I started One Piece. Oh and let me tell you — the names the characters have are just *chef kiss*. I especially fell in love with the name of Arabastas princess — Vivi. I loved her name, soso much. But I didn't have the courage to change my dead name into that. Time passed until a few months ago where I finally wanted to change my name because I couldn't live with people calling me by my dead name. I looked and looked for names, completely having forgotten about Vivi at that point. I had some names I really liked, like Carrot (another one piece reference) and a bunch of other cute ones. What was a must have was that the name I'm going to choose didn't sound like a name, but was more a noun. I tried to think of people calling me "real" names but nothing seemed to fit except the "weird" ones. And then I found Clover. It was the second time I fell in love with a name but since it is not easy to pronounce for some German speaking folks I had to think of a nickname and then Vivi came into my mind again.
That's my story basically, what about you? Reblog and tell me yours I'd love to hear it!

5 stripe version of demimasc/boy/man/male, demifem/girl/woman/female, and deminonbinary/enby/enban. 2 versions of each, the second one has slightly darker grey stripes.
I thought I'd make some simplified versions of these demigender flags :). As far as I'm aware, the original demigender flags have no stripe meanings, though the two grey stripes are thought to be for partial connection. I don't think combining them into one grey stripe takes away from the meaning of it too much.
I also edited the yellow is be more muted/slightly darker.
People don't have to use this if they don't want to, I just thought simplified versions would be nice.

I'm sad because I'm starting to think my demienby gender grew to full nb and now I'm gonna have to lose labels people who know me enough to know how I experience attraction pls suggest labels for me literally any will do if I fit it. I hate label count going down. So so much
(if u wanna help but don't know what might apply, I'm a bigender aporagirl/aliagirl/outhergirl/girlby and I'm attracted exclusively to women and various elsegenders, and I'm ace + cupio + demiro if anything u find you think could fit that send it my way I need to have replacements)

Maybinary Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Maybinary (mayby/maybies or maybenary): someone who may be binary and/or may not be binary (maynby/maynb or maynonbinary); maybe being aptobinary, maybe not (maybinaryn't/maybenaryn't).
Maybinaries could be yesbinary (ambisobinary, ambinary/ambibinary or mesobinary) and/or nobinary (abinary or exobinary), semibinary (demibinary, half-binary or hemibinary) or seminonbinary (semienby/seminby, demienby/deminby/deminonbinary or heminonbinary/hemienby/heminby), abrobinary or aptobinary (exorgender), or anonbinary (binaryn't nonbinaryn't).
Usually, if someone asks "are you a boy or a girl?" or "are you binary?" you answer "maybe" (or "maybe yes, maybe not") or "so-so" (sobinary/sosobinary). Useful for questioning.

Like bro? Did you forget about the third "non-gender" article we have for nouns like car, house, food and others? You tryina telling me now those things are female/male since there are only two genders?
Bet you didn't see that coming phobic people

Hello! Can you do Demiboy and transmasc flag, Demigirl and trnasfem flag, and Deminonbinary nad transneutral flag? Thank you!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah! Here's transmasc + demiboy/masc, transfem + demigirl/fem, and transneutral + deminonbinary :>
All three combo flags are basically just their 2 original flags spliced together, with the top part being demi- and the bottom part being trans-.
(Also, I use "demimasc/fem" as alternatives to just "demiboy/girl", since boy and girl are diminutive and don't fit everyone.)
Below are the 3 trans flags I used,

Gender Update
Lots of questioning has been happening over the past couple of weeks (indeed, over the past year), and because this blog is meant to document my experience as well as share my journey, my works, and my philosophies, I have chosen not to omit any original introductions from this page.
I will always pin posts and tag them #mypresentjourney to keep people in the loop.
I was finding it especially difficult to gather a sense of how I could convey both the manifoldness and specificity of my identity. Considering pronouns and titles was surprisingly unhelpful because it was focussed on external perceptions rather than attempting to describe my experience. I found much more ease exploring through lists of identities.
If anyone else wants to try this, I had a general realm of what I roughly lay in and amalgamated a bunch of congruent terms (for example, nonbinary umbrella - just finding all the different nuanced forms; or seeing what and if feminine associated titles were all right). I added ones I also had never considered, ones I had felt uncomfortable with in the past, fun ones I found delightful, ones I would never use in public but were descriptive. I was both trying to challenge myself and really hone on how I'd feel comfortable presenting (and also if you're new to the community, it's a great way to see the diversity therein).
The list came out like this (you are free to use this template/make yours prettier/etc.):

~ ~ ~
I listed them all and wrote down explanations about why I did, didn't, or maybe liked them the evening before, then reordered them like this while I had breakfast in a café.
For example, demigirl was a term I didn't mind a year ago. Now, I realise that was me clinging to womanhood and doesn't actually have resonance with who I am.
Conclusion
Here is my current standing:
Nebulaic and nebulous will always be terms that make me happy.
More frequently, though, I really love transandrogynous. Realising I'm trans for me is finally embracing that I'm not a woman and I don't have to force myself to fit into that anymore. I can transition into that androgyny - it's incredibly liberating.
Nonbinary is always a comfortable term - it's well-known, it's easy to describe to people without getting into details, and it's nebulous enough to be fluid. It also implies rejecting strict binaries which I like.
Gender expansive indicates the encapsulating nature of how I bring in masculinity and femininity and other beautiful pieces into my androgyny, and that I'm not confined to a box.
I'm still figuring out my relationship with femininity and masculinity, I'm still exploring who I am, but I've realised that I'm definitely predominantly (as the list probably indicates) most comfortable with androgyny.
Wherever you are at, you are lovely and deserve so much love and respect, and you will find your way. Hopefully this little exercise helps you like it did me.
With love, T.C.
