I'm not really one of those people who's waaay big into speculating what character's sexualities are because that's honestly the last thing on my mind, but I just really wanted to draw this before pride is over. I remember Zeddyzi mentioned something about once Stone maybe being demi and I hope to god it's true so that we get some more of us asexuals in the house, but also because I think it would be funny to add to the comedic element of making the most over-simped character in ramshackle be on the ace spectrum as part of the irony.

I’m being so ffr rn, if the show runners definitively show that Buddie is not going to happen?

I’m probably not going to be watching anymore.

I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”

And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.

I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. I’ve seen a couple of posts and comics about the classic aspec experience of hearing “how can someone as attractive as you not have experience” or “the uncomfortable feeling when you realize a person you see as platonic has romantic/sexual feelings for you”

And as much as those shitty situations deserve to be talked about I never see anyone talk about the other side

Shoutouts to everyone who has never been approached or even complimented on their appearance even though sometimes it’s nice to want to look good even if not taken sexually

To anyone who tries to remind me that I “had crushes as a teenager” please remember I literally lied that my favorite color is orange for my entire childhood bc I thought I needed a favorite color bc everyone kept asking and when I was 6 the children’s pastor at my church asked me and I said orange in a panic bc he had gone through all the other options and I hadn’t picked one yet and then I didn’t want anyone to know I had lied to a pastor and now it’s been 19 years and there is so much orange in my bedroom that I’ve even purchased for myself and I still don’t have a favorite color of course I was lying about the crushes I was just saying normal shit I thought sounded normal
