Hello! I'm here to request a romantic MHA matchup if you could please! I'm a 16 year old female but I look and act mature for my age(due to trauma) so I often get mistaked as an 18 year old or even older sometimes. Some good qualities of mine are maturity, level headedness, and then I can be motherly. Some bad traits can include bluntness, coming off as cold, and stubbornness. I'm an introvert so i hate being around crowds and speaking infront of people I also have social anxiety so that doesn't help... I would much prefer staying at home watching anime and petting my pets than going out... More of my fun and loud side comes out around my friends or the right people. Some dislikes of mine are bananas, P.E./sports(volleyball is okay tho), and men/father figures in my life-. My music taste includes the artists, The Neighborhood, Girl In Red, The Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, Alec Benjamin, Corpse, and Conan Gray! I'm bisexual/omnisexual so either gender could work but in mha I lean towards having stronger crushes on the guys and only some lighter crushes on the girls so do with that what you will. Traits I dislike in others are immaturity, impatience, disrespect, pushing boundaries, and not listening. Traits I look for in others are respect, kindness, understanding, patience, and humor. A bit about my appearance is I have longish black hair, pale skin, freckles, i'm a bit chubby, and tall(5'8). Im also very insecure and I doubt myself a lot but I'm trying to work on that! Some love languages include words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch and sometimes acts of service. every day, i am haunted by this man's unwavering confidence the second he gets comfortable with you

either that or when he knows for sure how you feel about him

it wouldn’t be something that he makes a big thing out of, but you better believe he’s going to tease you about it if you try to first

the two of you are walking back from a coffee place you frequent together to his apartment, likely going back to hang out as you often do

although the day is much colder than the last few have been, the wind nipping at the back of your neck and your ears

shinso picks up on this immediately, stopping in his tracks and unraveling the scarf around his own neck

“c’mere” he beckons softly, slowly wrapping the scarf around you when you’re stood in front of him

it’s hard to protest, but you do try at least in worry for him

“what about you?” is your response, lip jutted out slightly in a pout

he chuckles then, giving each end of the scarf a small tug as if to solidify his choice

“don’t worry about it, can’t have you getting cold now can i?”

the smile that makes its way onto his face is one you’ve only come to see recently, but it’s hard to ignore the adoration that comes along with it

his face is close to yours now, even with him being a good amount taller - so why not thank him for the kind gesture?

now up on your toes, you’re quick to leave a quick peck on his nose before coming back down

though no flush or shyness or embarrassment from him comes, that you can see anyway

the smile he had somehow widens, eyebrows rising along with it

“very cute, but you missed” he tells you, rather matter of factly too

before you can question him on it however, he’s the one to lean down now and let his lips meet yours

they’re a lot warmer than what yours are, mainly due to the fact he only recently just finished his coffee

his hands stay holding the scarf he had put around you, though you feel him move that much closer to you before eventually pulling away

and man, does he look proud of himself

he’d even laugh a little if you evidently shy away, giving your nose the same treatment you had done for him as if in apology

once the moment is over, he’d confidently hold his hand out for you to take

“shall we get going?” he would ask, only continuing to tease once you both start walking again

todoroki

it’s common for him to be pinned as someone with not a lot of experience, too busy focusing on his tremendous amounts of pro hero work to make time for relationships

which ultimately, is partly true

todoroki is in no way clueless

it comes easily to you, the understanding of how perceptive and observant he is

one time he had proved that was driving you home after one of your first dates together

the familiar jitters had long since passed, instead replaced by comfortable silence as you watched him from the passenger seat

every so often he’ll catch your eye, giving you a rare smile or even reaching his hand out towards you if you want to hold it

of course you do, something he’s come to know as well

only once parked up outside where you live does the air around him start to change, making you aware that he’s thinking about something

or more that he’s hesitating about it

“everything alright?” you ask him, voice soft which only seems to draw him in more

giving you a quick nod, he leans in the slightest bit before stopping - nose almost brushing yours

“yes” he replies not even a second later, that same smile making its way onto his face

“thank you for tonight, i really enjoy spending time with you” he adds, eyes trailing along your face but unmoving from in front of you

the entire car begins to feel warmer, nerves creeping up the back of your neck until you realise -

he’s not teasing you, not at all

instead he’s letting you take control, make a move on your terms instead of his own

the gesture itself is enough to make you lean forward, lips meeting his softer ones

the two of you stay like that for a while, his hand eventually making it’s way up to cup your cheek

the warmth is more than welcoming, almost making you regret having to pull away

alas, you do - somehow smiling wider when you catch him chasing your lips briefly before moving back into his seat

even with his usual demeanour, it’s hard to miss the way a flush has made its way onto his face

“let’s... do this again sometime” he offers, a small chuckle leaving him when he realises what that could insinuate

before he can correct himself however, you agree - reassuring him that you’ll call him again in the morning

with one last quick kiss to the hand he still has in his grasp, todoroki sees you off as you make your way to the front door

though the call comes earlier than he anticipated, his phone buzzing as he takes his shoes off at his own apartment

there’s no hesitation in him answering, even less somehow when agreeing to meet up with you the next day

bakugo

initiates: you

time for me to push the agenda once again

bakugo is the trope of mean to everyone but you

though he likes to act all big and bad as if he’s the boss in the relationship, really he just needs some reassurance every once in a while

you’re who he’s decided he can be fully comfortable with, which includes his vulnerabilities

oh and - he wants to be the best at everything

so he tries to be the one to initiate the kiss first, but it just doesn’t work out for him

either you don’t pick up on his hints, he isn’t obvious enough or the moment just ends too quickly

eventually he’ll start to get frustrated, mostly with himself for somehow not managing to get it right

what you start to notice after a while is that he starts to get huffy about it, even pouty when you kiss anywhere else on his face

cause if he can’t do it - and you can’t do it, then what happens?

one day you’re sat on the couch of one of your apartments, his arm around your shoulders paying full attention to the movie that’s playing

but your attention is fully on him

it didn’t take much longer for you to realise what he wanted

mostly because he was just so obvious about it

this could be your chance to land one on him, have the upper hand and be able to tease

leaning up towards him, he’s barely given the time to register what you’re doing before your lips are on his

with his free arm seemingly glued to his side, you feel him begin to relax when the other that was around your shoulders now moves to hold you in place

don’t think he won’t act cocky once you eventually pull away

as if homeboy did anything to initiate it

he’ll talk a good game and smirk at you if he got any kind of reaction, believe me

above all else he’s just relieved that the moment happened with you making the move

kirishima

initiates: him

i could make this a sentence long

kirishima would try his absolute best to make you feel happy and comfortable with him

that’s literally all i have to say

he’s a classic guy, asks you out in the sweetest way and runs everything by you to make sure you’ll have the best time with him

i picture it being him taking you home, walking down the street towards your place hand in hand

both of you are in your own world, rambling away about whatever you choose to share with each other as the night grows darker

once you get to the door however, the red head lingers a little longer

keeping your hand wrapped in his larger one for just that extra minute or so

you can see he’s a little nervous, finding it hard to meet your eyes until he decides to break the now forming comfortable silence

“i’d really love to take you out again!” he more announces than anything, chuckling a little bashfully to himself when he hears you giggle

though he’s good at staying in the moment with you, further reassurance being brought when you give his hand a squeeze

“today was just - i had such a good time, and you look incredible” he continues, confidence growing when he watches you fluster yourself

“if you don’t want me to, then it’s totally okay. but i’d really like to kiss you right now, you know - to say goodbye” he mostly mumbles the ending, cheeks beginning to redden before becoming aware that you had agreed

he keeps you close to him, one arm around your waist while the other goes to the back of your neck, running along the hair that meets him for the briefest second

then, his lips are on yours

he’s soft, slow with his movements as if he could at some point scare you off

that thought completely cancels out when he sees you smile once its over, his own lips likely turned up in the exact same way

he promises to text when he gets home, making his way as you take your leave and already starting to plan where to take you on the next date

sero

initiates: him

hanta sero is not going to be nervous to kiss you

not the slighest bit

and yeah i said it

he is so laid back, so casual in everything that he does that he thinks of the moment as more

probably does it before you even started dating let's be real here

of course this respectful boy would only do something if you wanted it too

but it really just does not bother him

you could be hanging out together, just scrolling on your phone with him while you're lying with your back against his chest

his chin is on your shoulder, absentmindedly running his hands along your arms quite contently

and he would just be like oh, i could go a kiss right now

he'd call your name, smiling lazily when you meet his eyes

"you know, i really wanna take you out for real" he'd tell you fairly suddenly, the smile widening when he watches you shy away from him the smallest bit

"yeah?" you reply, unable to hide your own happy expression at the confession

he nods, not an ounce of uncertainty in the gesture

with that however, his finger makes it's way under your chin to tilt your head closer to him

"for sure, 'nd take you somewhere nice too" he continues, leaning all that much closer

"you wanna wait until then for a kiss? or think i could give you one now?" the entire conversation is just teasing, taunting in the way he knows you're considering your options

a now, please hardly leaves your lips before he's leaning in, lips warm as they move against yours

once he pulls away, the same smile is on his face as he runs a thumb over your cheek

the entire rest of the day he spends looking just beyond content, asking every so often if he can speak another kiss

then another

and then another

to summarise, sero kisses you once and after that cannot stop kissing you

you bet he'll make that date the best one you've ever been on

no, that’s not to hide the fact he doesn’t want it to be bad, how he’s nervous he acts too quickly, not at all

kaminari if anything is the one from all those old cheesy romcoms they used to show

will they kiss? oh they’re leaning in and -

he really does his best that i can promise you

wants everything to be right because he really likes you a lot and spending time with you has become his favourite thing

he just needs... to take his time

when it happens you’re both just too in the moment, chances are homeboy still takes you to dates at the arcade and won you something you’d been eyeing from one of the machines

it’s like he often ends up - rushed, clumsy - if anything, very fitting of the dynamic you both have

plus, nothing could quite beat the sheer happiness radiating off of him once you both pulled away and looked at each other again

it’s like unlocking a new achievement: constant denki kisses

after the first instance is over, he’ll be doing it all the time

every time he sees you, has to leave, before he starts talking, after he finishes talking, any chance he gets he’ll want to kiss you

man has a lot of love to give, so you better get used to being on the receiving end of that constant attention

it’ll also likely lead him to being more confident in kissing you elsewhere - places like your temple if you’re close enough to him or the back of your neck when you fall asleep together

overall, very wholesome and again, sweet

midoriya

man, oh man

midoriya is not initiating it and i stand by him for that

he’s by far the most attentive, especially with physical affection

but confidence comes gradually - mainly in the form of soft touches, hand holding, arms around you etc

he just worries too much about pressuring you

as if y’all literally aren’t dating already lmao

anyways

be prepared for him to take a minute after you do it

he’s long outgrown his old habits of y’know - losing all ability to function whenever someone looks at him with even the smallest interest

that doesn’t mean he’s fully adjusted

the two of you could be walking home from a date, say the park or a hike trail he wanted to go to with you

very nice and outdoorsy

you very casually invite him into your apartment and start going about getting you both some water, leaning over and pecking his lips before you do so

barely even thinking about it, mainly since you’d kissed just about everywhere else on his face at this point

then leave to go into the kitchen

and thank god you do

mans is red in the face, trying to process the fact that you just kissed him - and so nonchalantly too, when he’s been trying to pick the right moment to do it for who knows how long

awkwardly tries to recover from it before you get back but fails miserably

so you know what he does to distract you from his shy state?

Random BNHA Headcanons

(This is my first time doing this 😭)

Summary: A bunch of random BNHA headcanons. So, basically the title. The only reason I’m adding a read more is because I want it to be easier to navigate my page, lol

Bakugo is oddly nice when he first wakes up, but he's not exactly a morning person. He's less "I hate the world, why am I awake???" And more like "I'm extremely comfortable and the only thing that can ruin my mood is becoming less comfortable." He likes hovering between awake and asleep, y'know? Which is why if he's sleepy, his guard drops. When leaving the dorms, if he hasn't fully woken up, he goes from "outta my way, shitty-hair," to "mornin' Eijirou," and by the time he's actually aware of what he said, Kiri's already freaking out. If he's in bed all day for any reason other than being sick, he's probably soft for at least a few hours.

Kaminari's the type to wake up at 2 AM with an idea, go to jot it down, and then realize that he wrote a ten chapter book and now he's late for class. He'll probably put it into a google doc or something, so he can continue to add onto it throughout the day. I also feel like he probably will also randomly get a question and then spend hours researching it and any surrounding topics, before rambling to Kiri about "bro, if I went to the beach, I could make a bunch of glass! Probably! Maybe!" And then have to try and convince his friends that he can just make windows if anyone needs them.

Sero had added moves to his skill set, and practiced particular actions, with the sole intention of mimicking Spiderman. When Kirishima questions him on it, he compares Spiderman to Crimson Riot. They have a conversation that's essentially fanboying, both of them saying "we are not bringing All Might into this," and then more fanboying.

Jirou has an extremely eclectic music taste. If you can name a song, she probably knows it. She can memorize full melodies and all the lyrics within two or three listens, because she's just that good. Some people call her the human Shazam, because if you play the first five seconds of a song she likes, she'll immediately know what it is. She's also called out artists if they made a clear rip-off of a much better song. Her music taste is all over the place, which therefore makes it superior. However. This does not stop her from listening to the same six songs on repeat for a week. The six change a lot, though.

Koda has trouble with bugs, especially big ones. They scare him. But he has pretty much no issues with tigers, lions, horses, or even wolves. He loves animals, he really does. If you just showed up at his doorstep and shoved a bear cub in his arms, he wouldn't really question it, because he'd be happy to have a cute animal to play with.

Todoroki believes himself to be the opposite of moody. His definition of moody is switching emotions for no reason. He, personally, doesn't feel any emotion until something happens that day, be it a thought or an event, and his emotions stay fixed like that until something else happens. He could be having a great day, and then suddenly, it's a horrible day, and he can't figure out how people just "get over it." He does, however, find that unless something REALLY bad or REALLY good happens, his brain does a little emotional reset when he goes to sleep. Like, go to sleep feeling down, wake up feeling kinda meh.

Kirishima has considered re-dying his hair. Come on, hot pink is so manly! How could he not consider it? But he eventually resigns himself, because red just is his color now. Also, I feel like once, before dorms, he was really out of it, so he went to class with his hair down, and this was the first time anyone had seen him like that, and everyone was just confused as hell. Especially Bakugo. "Your hair's less shitty today. What the fuck."

Uraraka takes part in stupid bets all the time. Partially for the fun, and partially for the profit. She once floated Bakugo to the ceiling for 26 minutes before she had to put him down, because Kiri said that if she survived, he'd give her a dollar per minute. She ended up having to go to the recovery girl's office, but at least she got her money.

Mina is one of the few people who can understand and keep up with Deku's mumbling. This is not because she specifically tries to, (like Uraraka) or because she's known him long enough, (like Bakugo.) She's just used to gossipping with Hagakure at 4 AM, and therefore can understand high-speed low-volume speech. She's called him out on things before, but only when she's interested. She completely tunes out things about All Might and heroes and whatnot, but if he ever has anything to say about his classmates, specifically about Uraraka, Todoroki, and Bakugo, (because she, Hagakure, and Denki placed bets,) she hears every word.

Iida secretly loves to break the rules. He acts strict in front of anyone who he respects, or wants respect from, but after he thinks everyone's asleep, he relaxes, doing things that he considers rule-breaking without any remorse. Denki heard someone walking around outside while on one of his late-night internet searches. After finally willing himself to break away from an article about pandas, he popped his head out of the door to find Iida sneaking around. After some silent observation, Denki realized that not only did Iida just get back from breaking curfew, but he casually stole Hot Cheetos from Bakugo's room on the way back to his dorm. He said nothing the next day, at least not directly, but he sorta shoved Sero and Iida in the same room so that they could be bad influences on each other.

Despite it being a major part of her quirk, Hagakure almost never feels invisible. She has a lot of friends to talk to, she can wear cool outfits to stand out, and she is always talking. The only time she's not talking is during stealth training, and when she's using said stealth training to spy on people.

Tsu's little "ribbit" thing is actually just for fun. It feels right to do it, so she does it. Nothing wrong with that. However, pretty much everyone else assumed it was a part of her quirk. It took an insane amount of convincing to get that idea out of their heads. Deku was proud to be one of the few who never actually associated it with her quirk. He could prove it if he wanted to, actually, but that would require showing someone his notebook, which would open a whole other can of worms.

Oh yeah, speaking of Deku's notebook, he has multiple. Six to be exact. One is on his fellow classmates, one is on most pros, one is on the LOV, one is specifically on All Might, one is on his own quirk development, and the last one is a narrative of what's happening in his life, which is why he's constantly thinking as if he's telling a story. He mentally narrates everything that happens in his life, although he sometimes wonders if he's dramatizing things because of that. His internal monologue is constantly running its mouth, and sometimes he ends up speaking over it.

Tokoyami really likes plague doctors. He just does. He wants a plague doctor mask so he can walk around with less judgement, or maybe more, who knows? He just loved the concept. He claims that they're just really cool, which most people agree with, but he's never told any of them that he likes them because he saw a plague doctor mask for the first time at the age of six, and immediately thought bird man.

Sato likes baking, but he can't cook normally to save his life. Well, he can, but he can't. He hasn't burned water, and he knows how to do the very basics, but he can't function without a recipe, not to mention the fact that he's googled how to saute mushrooms three times and still doesn't get it. Baking comes pretty naturally. Exact measurements, precise times and temperatures. Cooking does not. Eyeballing ingredient amounts, guessing if the flame is high enough, trying to figure out how often 'stir occasionally' is. He actually once asked Bakugo if he had advice, to which he responded, "Why the hell are you asking me?!"

Four: it’s what’s on the inside that counts

It’s been over 2 weeks since your fight with Bakugou. The two of you haven’t spoken since, leaving your classmates a bit nervous. You were stubborn and so was he. The only problem was, neither of you really remembered why you were fighting in the first place. You two fought often, that was obvious, but something about this last fight felt different. As if you and Bakugou genuinely wanted to hurt each other. In the past, it was mainly for your own satisfaction just to fight someone. You and Bakugou had disliked each other for so long that you couldn’t even think of a solid reason for why you hated him. You soon came to realize that you barely knew anything about Katsuki Bakugou...and that bothered you.

“LISTEN UP! Prom tickets will be on sale after school today in the common area. You can also buy them at the door but just know they’ll cost more. So I recommend you have your money ready and get in line early because I only have a certain amount for presale. Thank you that’s all!” You announced to your class. “Oh and pass this information onto the other classes please!”

You hopped down from the desk where you were standing and brushed your skirt down.

“Do you need help setting up?” asked Deku. You looked over at Bakugou, who was supposed to be helping you but since the two of you weren’t on speaking terms, that wasn’t really an option.

“Uh sure that’d be great,” you said.

“I’ll lend a hand as well,” chimed in Iida. You laughed.

“Guys all I need help with is moving a table and a few boxes,” you explained.

“We are happy to help!”

You, Deku, and Iida set up the ticket selling table. You placed the poster of the dance in front of the table. Izuku grabbed the box of tickets and looked through them.

“Y/N did you make these?” He asked. Your face got warm.

“Uh yeah, it’s not a big deal though,” you insisted.

“It’s excellent artistic work Y/N! You should be proud!” smiled Iida.

“Yeah it’s super cool!”

“Thanks guys,” you gushed. You sat down at the table and pulled out your notebook and pen.

“Alright! Who wants the honor of buying the first ticket?”

“You should, after all you planned the dance,” said Deku. You smiled.

“I guess you’re right.” You picked up the first ticket, wrote your name next to the #1 spot in your notebook, and put your money in the cash box.

“Okay. Who’s next?”

The line of people never seemed to end. You got in the groove of writing down their name, number, and putting away the money pretty quickly.

“Hey Momo! Uh you’re number 35,” you said to your classmate.

“Thanks, here you go!” She smiled, handing you the money.

“Y/N!!” cheered Mina, “wait is this the theme?” Mina pointed to the design on the tickets.

“Uh yeah it is,” you smiled.

“‘My Emotions Feel Like Explosions When You’re Around’,” read aloud Deku.

“I LOVE IT!! It’s super cute and honestly I would expect nothing less from you and Bakugou!”

Right. Bakugou.

“Uh yeah. I'm excited to see how it turns out once we get all the decorations.”

“Do any of you have dates yet?” asked Denki as he paid.

“Wow Denki is that your only concern?” laughed Jirou.

“I haven’t even thought about that,” said Iida.

“Planning on asking anyone?” You asked aloud.

“I am…” mumbled Deku.

“Wow Izuku wonder who?” said Kirishima sarcastically.

You patted on the top of the table, hinting for Bakugou to sit with you. He groaned and joined you on the table.

..........I would lie if I said I didn’t think about this while drawing that kiss R I P my multishipper heart is gonna kill me BUT IT’S OKAY I’m not one for unhappy endings so consider this - Denki sees them kiss, since he’s best bro and both Kirishima and Bakugou tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves he already knew this was gonna happen so he’s like, sad but resigned it hurts and he wishes he didn’t have to see it but he loves them both so much that he can’t help but being happy for how happy they are at the same time too (sure, being part of that happiness would be a dream coming true, but he’s used to never coming first he can deal with this hahahahaha r i p)

Meanwhile a bit after the kiss once Kiri is a hundred per cent sure Bakugou isn’t going to explode his head off if he mentions his very huge crush on Kaminari he does and Bakugou’s like, shit, it’s not like he’d mind it because Kaminari is, well, he’s Kaminari and Bakugou isn’t sure why but he’s comfortable to be around and easy to talk to and he’s stupidly pretty and like, yeah, okay, he might be into him too, maybe, he isn’t admitting anything here (not like he needs to, as stated already he’s pretty easy to read), but Kaminari’s also the no homo type of het so it’s not like they can do much about this threeway crush or whatever, and Kirishima’s like sure, I know, I just wanted to be open about this to avoid trouble, which is very sensible and will cut us on a lot of miscommunication angst this is getting out of hand let’s skip ahead I always forget how much fun I have writing this kind of bullshit

For however much Kaminari swore he could deal with it and how much he’s actually managing to deal with it he’s also the same brand of open book Baku and Kiri are and while it was easy to act like friends with no romantic feelings when everyone was doing the same, trying to hide from Bakugou and Kirishima while they’re openly in a relationship turns out to be more or less impossible, mostly because he can’t seem to avoid the longing stares and sad smiles and the I have to go I just remembered I have a thing to do bye’s when it becomes too much, and Kirishima might not be the brightest but he’s perfectly in tune with everyone’s feelings and Bakugou might stomp on people’s feelings more often than not but he is the brightest which means they notice and they’re like god fucking damn it - Bakugou in nature isn’t one to talk about problems until they burst out in fits of anger, but thank god he’s got Kirishima right there and they might not be 100% sure they got the reason for Kaminari’s weirdness right but they’re exasperated and they at least want their friend to stop being weird and avoiding them, they miss him (and Kaminari seriously misses them too he feels so stupid for how big of a deal he’s turning this into) SO they corner him and talk it out cause I’m a slut for open and honest communication and Kaminari straight out starts crying from happiness and relief before they’re even done talking and Kirishima starts crying right after him because sympathetic crier supreme and Bakugou’s like you know what I changed my mind fuck both of you emotional disasters I’m out
