Creativity - 23.02.2023

For this creativity I again decided to use the opportunity that a person I know had birthday. I decided to make him a birthday cake and practice another cake decorating technique - pulled dot.

Pulled dot is done literally the way it is called. You pipe with buttercream dots and then use a spoon to pull the dot and create a pattern. I must say this is one of the easiest techniques which I have tried so far, although it is quite time consuming.

I will also add that my buttercream mass improved since the last time I have done it. I heated the mass to higher temperature which made it much more smooth and easier to work with. I am really happy this aspect of cake deorating I managed to improve.

Its totally a nice problem to have in the grand scheme of it all so I'm not complaining really. But like picking out furniture and trying to sort out a flat without doing any actual decorating because its a rental is stressful. Like i dunno what style of thing would be nice and comfy and go with other things that are practical and useful and the things i cant change like walls and carpets and stuff. I've just had to make do all my life up to this point so ive never had to think about it much before now that im able to actually plan it out its a bit of a minefield.
