i hate being in denial. i hate thinking that I'm a fake system attention seeker. being a system is not beautiful, for me. but ggjhffd, I can't stop thinking I may be faking sometimes. -roy

Back in the day I was told I was “mature for my age” but I don’t know where that went. It’s almost as if everyone grew up and reached the level of maturity I was forced to reach due to the circumstances and now I am going back a couple of years to make up for the time I spent suffering.

psa that unreality is a trigger just as much as anything else, and a hugely common trigger for those with dissociative disorders and psychotic-spectrum disorders in particular. it is a necessary tag that is often left off posts and it needs to become more normalised to include the “unreality tw” tag on these posts to prevent derealisation and delusion spirals, so that the internet is a bit safer and kinder for ppl with mental illness.

Friendly reminder that if you are mentally ill or neurodiverse in some way and can’t work: it’s not your fault. You are not a failure or less worthy than people who work. The workplace is inherently ableist and tends not to accommodate people with mental health conditions of any kind and it is not your fault that it is this way or that your condition makes it harder for you to work than someone who doesn’t have it.
