So the conversation on the BDL discord server led me to having this mental image:

Din was told that a baby's first Haloween, they should be made into a pumpkin. Din is SO proud of how this turned out. Leia is standing off to the side, with little Ben in a perfect Haloween costume.

Leia: OH GODS DIN YOU CAN'T DUNK A BABY IN THE SAME FIREPROOF PAINT YOU USE ON YOUR SHIP! IT'S TOXIC!!! Din: But I told him not to lick it.

Boba is amazed at the ingenuity of this solution.

Luke is just facepalming, since he knows he'll be the one that will have to wash the baby.

Han is not saying anything, since he's very afraid of Leia, but all he's thinking is: that friggin' thing is now a fireproof toxic Jedi.

Prompt: Rain (I am the Prompt Master this week, yay!)

There is a headcanon attached to this (I have so many dumb headcanons about Din and the gang's everyday life, you would NOT believe):

Din sensed the pattern pretty fast with buying Grogu stuff. There is a crate on his new ship of child stuff and it's 67% frog-related, the rest is a mix of gifts from the people that find Grogu's puppy eyes irresistible, random shit the kid sometimes swipes from stalls in markets (Din is still trying to teach him that stealing is mostly not good), and equally random scrap metal, which, for some reason, Grogu finds very fun to play with. Luke keeps throwing those out regularly. Nobody else cares.

Prompt was: Aliit ori'shya tal'din (Family is more than blood)

The story here is: Grogu drew the picture. Luke had to stop him from drawing in the corpses of Stormtroopers, because he wanted to show the picture to Leia without her complaining that she’s missing all the family fun. Now the whole family has a copy of the picture pinned somewhere, while the original is proudly hung on the cooling unit. The holo was shot by Fennec. It’s the only time they were able to coerce Boba into posing for a holo. Fennec, as she found out, likes taking pictures. She feels like it’s similar to sniping.

It started with Grogu’s drawing, which, fun fact, is HEAVILY inspired by mine and my brother’s childhood art. Then I just wanted to see how my doodles would look in color.

he is the property of Disney,

his father is technically a king,

he is, in some capacity, very partial to small animals,

he has a tragic story arc and is being saved mostly
