How old are the horsin' around crew when they get stuck in the island in the deserted island au? Are they still filming the series, is after the series end? I'm pretty sure there was a post talking about this but I can't find it.

There’s a link to a post that briefly explains almost all of my aus in my pinned post, but I didn’t really go into the specifics of this au yet lol

It’s during the 90s, maybe 92 or 93 or something?? I don’t remember the exact year if I had one in mind. But I think Herb and Bojack started having problems in 1990 (that’s when the “don’t stop dancing flashback takes place) (the cracks in their relationship started showing in mid 1989 when the Cindy crawfish flashback took place). Anyway so it’s between then and when Herb got outed/fired in 1995. Sarah Lynn would be 8-9 I guess? And the other kids would be older ( I don’t think their exact ages were ever confirmed lol)

They’re filming a special movie or going to some event or something. It’s when Horsin around is doing really well and they get some amazing opportunity that involves them flying overseas. Herb, the Horsin around kids, Bojack, Sharona, Angela, and some other crew members end up going (like the dog in the makeup crew and such). I haven’t really figured out the specifics tbh, idk much about Hollywood lol.

about the desert island au, what happens with the bussiness?

i don't know much about how fashion empires are run, but i'm assuming the board would take over gabriel and nathalie's responsibilities on the business side of things and there would be a creative director that would have to step up (or delegate) in gabriel's absence as the head designer?

there would probably be a bit of drama at first with shareholders and partners and such, but i bet the media and public would eat their disappearance up. there's no sign of foul play and their last known coordinates were where a huge storm hit, so what happened to them is a huge mystery that probably grips the world for quite some time. especially since emilie's still "missing" too

I Imagine that rain would be considered lucky. But how would it be celebrated

Oh yeah the clouds are always heavy on their anniversary, rain is a symbol that means shared fortune, and on their anniversary it always rains, but the clouds have enough gaps to make rainbows. It's kinda like a Pride festival, people sharing who they are hoping to get good luck in the goddess-blessed rain, waving their own rainbows to celebrate. A lot of fishmen feel more comfortable and safe surfacing during the festival because they trust the water and the rain to protect them. Fishmen like Nami, she makes the tides that give the ocean oxygen and she kinda takes over as water god for those months Jimbe's recovering after his day of reckoning. A lot of fishmen and mers participate in the festival, most races do if they're safe to. It's harder for people that live in colder places to, though, because they get snowstorms instead of rain

Looking for a Winteriron fic, please help!

From what I remember, the fic was about Tony and Bucky falling into a portal(?). This portal lands them on a deserted island. They have to work together to survive. They fall in love and Tony even has their kids. They become self sufficient on the island. Tony teaches the kids. They stay on the island for a while and when there rescued not a lot of time passed in the real world. It was kinda like a time warp island maybe? It may have also been an Alpha/Omega fic, cause I think I remember something about them bonding and Tony not really aging (Not really sure about this part though).

Please help me find it, it's been driving me crazy!

ohhg headcanon time. thinking about post-fuga q!cell again. thinking about how after tazercraft and guaxinim left him for dead on that island, he keeps the final bullet in the gun and spends hours trying to bust himself out of that trap in the cave. thinking about how he finally manages it after a lucky shot with the gun breaks the redstone mechanism and doesn't ricochet right into him---a gamble he had to take.

thinking about how alcatraz was sending cops looking for them. thinking about how maybe they gave up trying to land choppers (not enough landing space) and sent boats instead. thinking about officers with guns swarming the island three nights later, flashlights piercing the darkness, marching through the trees and caves and cliffs and beaches, doing a thorough search.

and thinking about q!cell---disadvantaged, outnumbered, injured, half-starved---thus slipping right back into what he learned in the War: how to hunt, when everything wants you dead. sneaking around and taking out the cops in his path one by one. using the darkness to his advantage, tricking and dodging. tearing bites out of his victims when he can spare the precious seconds. methodically making his way to the beach, where the boats are docked.

he doesn't do it perfectly. he's out of practice. among other mistakes, he was grazed by at least four bullets and his nose is bleeding from when an officer slammed the butt of their pistol in his face---but he makes it. breathing heavy, soaked in blood, flesh stuck in the gaps of his teeth, he hops in a boat and jams a stolen key into the ignition. he takes off for the mainland with a single thing on his mind: he's got some traitors to kill.

#definitely using this for little dagger au but like. it applies to how i imagine qcellbit's escape from the deserted island in qsmpcanon #ill write something for this. maybe. it would be a precursor to Miss Me? at the very least #my writing #might make adjustments to this ive got a few ideas floating around #tbh i should make it so he gets shot in the shoulder or some shit. mans should get rolled by the cops but still makes it to the boats. #dont mind me im just rambling

David watched as a startled Patrick tried not to drop the hunk of bamboo poles he was quietly struggling to lift on his own.

“Excuse me?” Patrick ended up dropping it anyway, wiping his hands on his shorts and looking bemused. “Where did that come from?”

In all honesty, David was fairly prone to random outbursts, but this one had more to do with his irritation that Patrick wasn’t taking any of his suggestions about the location, or the size, or the design of the shelter into account. (“A skylight is out of the question, David.” Stated without a shred of regret, of course.)

“It feels like you’re making all the decisions and I’m supposed to stand by and like, help.”

“It would be nice if you could help, yes,” Patrick responded calmly, almost as if he was preventing himself from pointing out that David was sitting on an abandoned piece of driftwood reorganizing their supplies by order of utility while he manfully wrestled with giant logs in the midday sun.

This is a wip to meet a prompt from @theroomofreq from a trope mashup game! The tropes were 41 (First Kiss) + 72 (Stranded on a Desert Island). This is a Muggle AU, where Harry is trying to confess his feelings for Ginny as they're stranded together. Hopefully it'll lead to a first kiss. ;)

Here is a snippet:

This really wasn't how Harry imagined he would finally get Ginny alone.

And that was really saying something, considering how much he had been fantasizing about her for over a year. Still, even with his imagination going into overdrive, being alone on a deserted island, funnily enough, hadn’t made it on the list.

But Harry was here on a mission. He was going to confess his feelings for Ginny before they got off this island or he would die trying.

Hopefully not literally.

I did actually also have another idea for this prompt, but it seemed too difficult to write at the time, but the premise was: Harry, Ginny, and Luna are on a deserted island because some magical creature is causing problems to nearby populated islands. Luna is there as a magizoologist, Harry as an Auror, and Ginny in this world because an injury has her on the bench for Quidditch. I forget what I was leaning toward — them never having gotten together in order to meet the first kiss prompt or something else, but it was supposed to be filled will pining and possibly Harry and Ginny getting trapped in a volcano together. No biggie. But then I thought this would take forever to write and meet the prompt (but then I also never finished the above wip either so...) 😅

Fandom: Critical Role Ship: Caleb Widogast/Fjord Stone) AUs/Tropes: Canon divergence, Desert Island Prompt: When a teleportation goes horribly wrong, Caleb ends up stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere with a mysterious man.

Extra details: Okay, so basically this is completely AU but still set in Exandria. In this one Caleb was is a sticky situation and as soon as he found a place to hide he decided to use teleportation to get the fuck out.

But he's still very hurt, like, he maybe has a concussion and doing something like that is a very bad idea when your brain feels like scambled eggs.

Which is why he ends up messing up the focusing on a place and somehow the teleportation goes horribly wrong. Not only does he get even more hurt, but he ends up in the wrong place.

Not that he realizes it at first. After all, he loses consciousness as soon as he arrives to destination.

He realizes it when he wakes up in a makeshift bed, a half-orc sleeping leaning against a palm tree beside him.

So, apparently he just causally ended up in the one desert island in the Lucidian Ocean that had another unfortunate soul stuck on it after a shipwreck...

Basically, Fjord had been on the island for months. There still was Uk'otoa whispering to him in dreams offering him a way to get the fuck out of the island, but Fjord resisted the temptation (maybe Vandran talked to him about his pact before the shipwreck or something).

And now Caleb is his one chance to get away from the island. Which, is only fair after Fjord made sure he wouldn't die a horrible death, right?
