Tatra 603A, 1962. A prototype for a new generation of the large, rear engined, Czech luxury car. There was also a proposal for a long-roof wagon version that could be adapted as an ambulance. The project was abandoned and the 603 (which had been introduced in 1956) was given a facelift instead. More recently the prototype was restored by a Tatra enthusiast (video here). As with all Tatra saloons it was powered by a rear mounted, air-cooled V8 engine
