hi hi, kylen is back again with a second child. this is my baby joaquín & if you’ve seen or played life is strange two he is loosely based off of that game ! no spoilers or anything of the sorts so don’t worry ! there is a short section below that will deal with racism, guns, & death tw but that specific section is tagged & untagged appropriately !

B I O G R A P H Y

joaquín has a younger brother named valentino. his brother is eight years younger than him

growing up joaquín thought his brother was annoying & always trying to be in the way. but it was only him, his brother, & their dad & so joaquín always tried to make the best of it

also !! he’s from seattle, washington. born & raised

other than being in a seemingly perfect family there were a lot of problems that the desoto family faced regarding their race.

racism / guns / death tw | when joaquín was nearly 18 & his younger brother was ten, his brother managed to get into an argument with the next door neighbor & joaquín came out to deal with the neighbor. just as joaquín threw a punch at the neighbor a police officer was on patrol & pulled up to break up the fight. in the end, joaquín’s dad ended up coming out of the house, trying to calm down the situation ( & his kids ) only to wind up shot & killed for ‘ getting too close ’

of course joaquín was pissed & is still pissed whenever he thinks of this in particular & it has definitely made him into who he is today.

tw ended | after the whole incident, joaquín ‘s brother had to be put into child services seeing as joaquín wasn’t 18 & wouldn’t be able to take care of him even if he was 18.

so joaquín did what he thought was best & sold a bunch of his mother’s ( who abandoned the desodo family ) as well as their house only to buy a van that he could travel the world in

he writes his brother a once a week & has phone calls with him nearly every single day. sdfghj he loves him so much & wishes he could’ve treated him better & spent more time with him growing up

now joaquín is at brier for technology & he’s enjoying it a lot. he’s a pretty artistic & loves to draw - he’s a secret nerd & does sculptures in clay too

W A N T E D C O N N E C T I O N S

ex(es): joaquín is in his 4th year so i could see him having an ex or two & him being the one to break things off just because he’s got commitment issues & thinks that the other person can do better

flirtationship / will they wont they: pretty good friends that a people assume the two of them are dating? they flirt with one another a lot & there could be something there or it could just be some harmless flirting~

best friend / pretty classic, someone who knows about joaquín ‘s dad & brother, someone he can vent to & someone who knows about his secret nerdy obsessions

study buddy / feed back: there can be more than one & they don;t have to be the same specialty. just someone to study with for classes. the two of them could just bounce ideas off one another for the classes they don’t share.
