hi! looking for resources or product recomendations for like volume control knobs? not sure what the real name for these are but like small boards specifically for media control (knob and a few buttons)

Rotary encoders! If you want the knobs on their own you can get them from: keeb.io, splitkb.com, and littlekeyboards.

hey! so i just got a ergodox ez glow, and was trying to find info on compatible keycaps, kinda new to mech keyboards and was wondering if you knew anything / a site where i could browse compatible caps?

If you want regular keycaps there’s SA Vilebloom, a few sets on Pimp My Keyboard, various blanks from Oh, Keycaps!, solid black blanks, and a few random sets on amazon. There are quite a few sets out there that are sold out but if you browse r/mechmarket you can potentially grab them second hand.

I’m having trouble finding caps that are both ergodox compatible and clear doubleshot so back lights can shine through besides the set sold stock with the keyboard though!

ah sorry nother ask, did more research and actually my real qs is did you ever compile that list of artisan keycap stores you mentioned in an ask a little while ago?
