I think the reason Rhulk and Nezarec have similar kinds of bodies is because they were both reformed/healed by The Witness. Well, more specifically, the Darkness.

In Lubrae’s lore, Rhulk was thrown into a pit at the brink of death but The Witness revealed itself to him and reformed his body and glaive to continue fighting and become a Disciple.

Nezarec was, obviously, dead with his only remaining body part in the Witness’ pyramid ship being his head. The Witness must’ve had it in that weird container we see him in at the start of RoN trying to resurrect him or waiting for the tank to do so (or maybe just as a souvenir, who tf knows), but when The Traveler hit the pyramid ship, Nezarec got Resurrected with the power of both Light and Dark. That’s why he has the signature “meaty red body and black head” that Rhulk also rocks but ALSO has those Light wings on his back.

This is also why Calus doesn’t have the signature Red Meaty Body, because he has never needed to be reformed with The Dark.

In conclusion, Bungie is not lazy, they’re consistent, some of y’all are not paying attention and are just always looking to criticize them.

Guardian, explaining mode fully equipped with clipboard: I have a theory that something, somewhere past the line, has been causing other Guardian Deaths. Walking too close to things, hitting the wall funny, or even walking can cause logs of "Misadventures" coming from Ghost feeds. Some have called them "Architects", which I have no clue what any of THAT could mean, but I digress. The experiment shows how close you could get to a wall that's been deemed a hazard by others and not die.

Ghost: Countering all that bullshit, I'm taking away the soda maker from your ship.

Guardian, indignant: I scavenged that fair and square, leave it alone!

*The traveler watches on, sipping the not so family friendly juice and smiling*

After four seasons to think after playing witch queen, I can (confidently?) say that there is SO much more going on with Savathûn, her throne world, and the Traveler. Obviously. But idk… there’s no way the hive were simply just chosen after everything. Out of everyone, you’d clearly think of the eliksni to be chosen. The witch queen and the Traveler both have something going on behind the scenes, probably manipulation or an actual deal they made during the collapse. EITHER WAY, THEY’RE IN CAHOOTS WITH EACH OTHER AND ITS SUSPICIOUS

Ranking the DR kids based on how well they'd handle getting time-traveled to the beginning of the OG series:

Euphrasia - she lives in the Cloud Kingdom and has been with the Writers of Destiny long enough to have at least a functional understanding of everything that's happened and is supposed to happen. She would also be willing and capable of ensuring the original timeline remains preserved to the best of her ability. Any errors she makes are minor and get quickly resolved.

Arin - is a massive nerd with a near encyclopedic knowledge of the ninjas' pasts, but even he doesn't know everything. He'd probably drop a bunch of lore/spoilers purely on accident and feel really anxious/awkward about it afterwards. This does not stop him from accidentally dropping spoilers in the future, though. As excited as he is to be trained by Master Wu himself, seeing Lloyd as a twerpy little brat is more than a little disturbing and he's not sure he likes this. At one point he realizes his parents are still alive/present in this point in time and has an emotional crisis about whether or not to visit them. Eventually decides that if he can use his knowledge to fix the past and perhaps prevent all sorts of bad things from ever happening, then he should go for it. But he's also constantly second-guessing himself and questioning what changes will "fix" the past and what changes will absolutely destroy everything.

Sora - only kind of pays attention to Arin's ninja fan rants, and also isn't Ninjagian and therefore has no basis of understanding for their history, so she has a very incomplete understanding of things. Why does Zane look human? She is having so much stress over whether or not she can preserve the original timeline because she really loves her life as it is now, and is scared that if she changes too much then everything she currently has will be torn from her. But if she doesn't know how things originally happened, how can she make sure she's not changing too much? Needless to say Sora would have such a bad time and is seriously regretting not paying more attention to Arin.
