I had the idea to combine my two current fixations into a Casino Cups + Wicked AU.

Elphaba and Nessa are daughters of the Devil in the most literal sense. (Ironic, considering how religious book Nessa is, and how book Elphaba wrestles with the idea of having faith and a soul.) Elphaba appears human, but is green, as one would expect. You initially assume she’s a plant hybrid, but then you see her fangs that no, she never lost, and her horns almost hidden among her dark hair, and her tail. That’s why people are afraid of her, that and her “father.” The Devil is very clear on the fact that she was more invented than born, and she assumes she is basically just another imp, albeit one that looks closer to human and is treated as an actual daughter. But still, despite the fact that she is loved, she receives far less warmth than she does expectation and responsibility. She is cold and calculating, sturdy and reliable, and serves the purposes asked of her.

Nessa, on the other hand, is the more doted on child, because she is not expected to take on responsibility, and perhaps subconsciously because she shows more of both her parents. Nessa is not a rose, as I had considered, but rather looks like any Devildice fanchild you might pull out of a hat at random, because she is. She’s a black die with golden dots, and a diamond-aligned head with three dots as her face, taking after her aunt. Her name should be some pun on dice, like Nessaroll. I can’t tell if that’s stupid or if it’ll grow on me. Maybe if I find a dice pun for “Nessa” too, or if there’s some general casino term with the word “rose” I could use instead. (Let’s say “Elphaba” means something in Enochian?) At any rate, it goes without saying that Nessa’s still a wheelchair user, but I sort of want to come up with some kind of unique cartoony or demon-ey type of accommodation for her to use instead, because it would be cool. (I’m picturing a backpack with wings or long tentacles or something to lift her off the ground.) Or perhaps I could borrow from the book and have her be armless instead? Anyway, she’s a hit singing at the Devil’s casino. Elphaba is a hit as a hitman perhaps, or maybe she’s learning to manage the finances.

Dice is getting older, and wants to retire soon, and Devil intends to retire right along with him. Ownership of the Casino is expected to pass to Elphaba for a good many decades, and possibly forever if Devil never decides to reclaim it, but when Elphaba does… I don’t know, some plot thing like in the musical… and goes AWOL, it falls to Nessa to take charge. And she takes to it remarkably naturally. Not a year of training, and she’s in charge, fully and completely, writing out soul deals of her own and ruling with an iron fist. If she does, in fact, have fists. I’m still trying to decide.

What it takes Elphaba time to discover, but I will lay out plainly for you for clarity’s sake, is that she’s not just some imp or demon that happened to get raised like a kid. She was created and designed specifically as Devil’s attempt at making an angel. He did have an interest in creating souls, didn’t he? What does an angel look like if it’s born fallen? What sort of manner of being is Elphaba, part of both worlds, belonging fully to neither? The Devil probably created this demonic angel with some kind of Big Scheme in mind, but at some point he realizes that he loves this thing like a kid, and is having a hard time balancing that with his need to use her like a weapon. Unlike Nessa, who he can certifiably call a child and nothing more or less, he doesn’t quite know what Elphaba is to him now, and that’s the source of his coldness and formality with her. If he’s gonna launch her at heaven like a nuclear weapon, he doesn’t want to get too attached.

Part of Elphaba’s estrangement is that she feels like a stepchild because she doesn’t have a connection to Dice. Nessa clearly shows both her parents. Elphaba shows only one, and that’s far offset by the green and her humanlike appearance. “Why did you invent me green though??” “Oh, it just matched your eyes. ;)” Dice has given her more than she realizes. One would never assume one of their fathers is blind because he literally gave his eyeballs to his firstborn. A demon needs demon eyes. Much of Elphaba’s being was formed from and around Dice’s demon eyes, with Devil’s magic (and some bit of holiness he had lying around somewhere). And the things that these demon eyes have seen give Elphaba a wisdom beyond her years through experiences she’ll never be able to consciously know. Also, she always knows when someone is lying. It is very difficult to hide anything from her. This is not an ability she manifests only at certain times, giving her visions of truths and desires, like with Dice, but a skill she uses continuously, one of purely mental intuition.

Glinda is an angel. Quite literally. I don’t have much to say about her story, because I don’t know much. Perhaps she senses someone of a similar nature and finds and befriends Elphaba. Perhaps they meet by chance. But this is the start of Elphaba having actual friends and a life outside the Casino. (Devil is uncertain about this, but Dice encourages him to let Elphaba have her fun. Weapon or no, she’s also a teenager, and Devil knows it.) Perhaps Gelphie becomes canon. I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t, but frankly I’m too aspec to care, as long as they have a good friendship. The pair’s eventual encountering of the Wizard is, instead, an encounter with some high-level angel, or even maybe God? Probably not God. Maybe Gabriel? Elphaba is powerful, but it’s a strange and unusual power, and Gabriel is intrigued by this unknown being with angel-like abilities that no one can remember giving her. Glinda is very proud of having talent-scouted her friend, and tags along hoping she will be rewarded as well, becoming more than just a minor angel that didn’t even make it into any literature by name. Elphaba is invited to join the heavenly host or something like that. She can become important. Gabriel can teach her and learn from her as well. Or hey, she’s kind of goth, so maybe she’ll want to be trained up as some kind of angel of death like Azrael. And of course Glinda jumps at Gabriel’s now open offer for guidance. They could do this together, Elphaba and Glinda, learning and training under two great angels, finding their purpose, becoming important, etc etc etc… Of course there’s some kind of confrontation wherein Elphaba discovers dark ulterior motives. Which, coming from God, doesn’t bode well. Probably something along the lines of that one thing Devil said about being an experiment and a puppet or something. I don’t know. But Elphaba wants nothing to do with this eerily pristine, fake perfect paradise. She turns away. But Glinda doesn’t intend to fall. Even knowing what she now knows… this is just who she is. So the two good friends officially take their sides on this most legendary struggle between “good” and “evil.” Elphaba now personally understands her father’s struggle, and she’s going to make a nuclear weapon towards heaven out of herself. But she intends to do it on her own terms. So she runs away to study and plan and prepare for… something.

Okay. Other characters.

Fiyero, I think, is some kind of dish or utensil. (I can’t think of a good pun off the top of my head… something with “fork”???) Paralleling him as a prince, this AU’s Fiyero is a descendant of the Calix Animi, but one who knows all the lore… …and acts like he doesn’t care much. It was a bajillion years ago, big deal! He plays it off because, if taken seriously, that’s a lot to live up to. On his own time though, he studies his ancestors with a passion. He was friends with Elphaba before she fell from a heaven she wasn’t part of in the first place, but after Elphaba cuts ties with everyone, she runs into Fiyero again by accident because they’re both researching. Perhaps they encounter each other in the Calix Animi ruins at like 2 AM? Elphaba sticks with Fiyero after this, at first because she tells him about her cause and he decides to turn traitor on his ancestors and help her by sharing his research and knowledge and stuff. But with time… I dunno, maybe they also fall in love? Like I said, I really don’t care.

Boq. Or rather, Bog. I do frequently make reference to the singular time in the book that Elphaba calls him a frog as an insult, but if that’s not enough to convince you, consider how close “Tibbett and Crope” are to “Ribby and Croaks.” Bog is their cousin, distant or close I don’t know. From the start of the AU’s plot, he works as a waiter at their clip joint, but he really wants to do… um, I dunno? Irrigation theory? In the book he studied agriculture, and in the musical all he did was study Galinda every time he could look at her. I do think that considering all the sentient plants on the Inkwell Isles—which I suppose we should be sure to capitalize here as “Plants,” another nod to the lore of the book—there would be a lot more range when it comes to what you might call “agriculture”, or any study of plants and animals. For all I know, we could be talking Plants and Animals instead, and he technically wants to be a doctor or an anthropologist or something. But I digress. He’s got some kind of professional aspirations, and he’s working a lot of shifts at his cousins’ place saving up for a good education. (Cousins plural, because Ribby and Croaks aren’t actually versions of Tibbett and Crope here, because if they were, they’d be a couple, not related, and since I wouldn’t be changing the names at all, that would get… confusing.)

At some point Bog makes friends with Nessa, which as we all know is always the biggest mistake of his life. I dunno if he makes Nessa think he likes her in this AU, because I also dunno if and how he falls in love with Glinda (who probably doesn’t ever have a name change unless I can think of a good reason). He probably does crush on the unattainable angel though, because if we’re playing by musical rules, then it’s an obligation, and it is also an obligation that Bog share some portion of the fault for his fate due to his own bad life choices. However, this fault can come with the signing of a contract. Nessa doesn’t need to be in love this time. What she needs is ruthless business sense. Why shouldn’t she use a friend/acquaintance as the first victim of her own personal soul deals? Much easier to convince that way. Maybe she tricks him. But I think he kind of has to sign his life away as willingly as possible, so our pity for his predicament can be mixed with a fair dose of “you idiot” as it always should be. I don’t know what she offers him that he’s willing to sign his soul away—probably something to do with making Glinda like him, because I don’t think he’s cares quite that much about agriculture—but Bog goes and loses his heart soul to Nessa. And she must like him at least a little, because his deal isn’t one for eternal torment. Instead, he is Nessa’s first “hired” employee at the Devil’s Casino (under new management). He will stay by her side, serving her, forever. And call me silly, but I don’t think this arrangement is going to end up quite like it did with Devil and Dice. (Though that’s the only love story Nessa’s especially familiar with, so perhaps it’s no wonder this was her plan all along to win Bog over. It worked once, right?)

Bog goes from one waiter uniform straight to a slightly different waiter uniform, this one with a little heart on it, and in any color he wants! Fun, right? Totally worth the, y’know, eternity, right? Bog wonders what exactly he got himself into, and desperately hopes he won’t come to regret it any more than he already does, because there is no escaping this.

I’m not sure how everybody would end up meeting and becoming friends. I know there was no big friend group in the musical, but I am tempted to once again borrow a little from the book, because the Charmed Circle gives me life. However, maybe it would make more sense for them to meet by chance, in twos and threes, and have a little web of interactions, and maybe encounter all of each other in the same space a few times, but never really become a group. As always, whichever best serves the mostly nonexistent plot.

I associate Elphaba with Clubs, Glinda with Diamonds, Bog with Hearts (duh), and Fiyero with Spades. (I have no idea what Nessa is, and I kind of don’t want to decide because there are only four suits and it would mess up the balance.) All of this is up for debate.

Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual with a preference for masculine men. I fucking caught the tone he used for that one muscular demon, come on now.

Gender Headcanon: Possibly genderfluid, but predominantly identifies as male. This is less to do with him being occasionally effeminate, and a lot more to do with the idea of him being able to change sex at will.

A ship I have with said character: Devildice! By far the easiest one to point to, absolute OTP. I also have a softspot for Saltdevil and Djimmidevil.

A BROTP I have with said character: The Devil and Henchman. I don't outright NOTP them but I always preferred to interpret them as platonic. Their dynamic is adorable in the show I appreciate them :)

A NOTP I have with said character: Tbqh don't think I have one. I think the Devil has the potential for fun interactions with all kinds of characters. If there I DO have a NOTP involving the Devil, I haven't seen it.

A random headcanon: The Devil is neurodivergent! I really enjoy the idea of him having Autism + ADHD, even if the diagnoses weren't well-known or even invented yet in the 1930s.

im not a writer so im not gonna "write" it at least not rn but heres some devildice(?) ideas

basing this off of the show bc it gives me more information. if the show didnt exist and we only had only the game id approach this differently.

so devil never heard dice singing until that season 3 episode, bc he didnt recognise him. so devil probably didnt give him that voice and he probably didnt hire dice as a radio host for his voice.

my fav option 1: dice summoned devil to help him with becoming a star and devil gave him a position on the radio, possibly also dices set of magic cards. in return? eternal service.

option 2: dice summoned devil to help him but devil only gave him the cards. dice applied for a bunch of jobs like normal and someone else hired him on the show without devils involvement

my less favourite option 3: dice is from the demon class, born in hell. in this case devil wouldve had to allow him to go on the surface so he mustve hired him as a radio host actively, but did so based on looks/talked to him about it so briefly he didnt hear him sing (even tho he does it all the time as if its part of his idle animation). i imagine if devil was looking to hire his own demons he probably was involved with the process of hiring bc idk. he's too jealous for that. he would only let someone else hire if he needed the whole thing to be run by alive people to look less sus or smthn. but if its only him and his small variety of demon species he might as well be picking

so where im going vith this imagine option 1. dice wants to serve devil forever. that would be kinda cool.. like what are you gay?

imagine dice has been trying everything to become a star, eventually going so far as to summon a demon, and he falls in love with him? imagine dice was the one to propose the payment and devil was flattered. he had to be i mean its kind of alot, to give someone a platform for their voice and a magic artifact? even if dice didnt propose it he mustve agreed really eagerly and been a good boy to get so much. (this is no longer speculating what couldve happened in canon btw) just imagine devil appearing out of the ground, or from behind dice, or in a puff of smoke, and dice being instantly charmed. instantly ready to promise eternal service like the big gay dummy he is. on his knees from painting the summoning symbols on the floor, mouth almost drooling eyes wide open. devil teasing and circling him to get more out of him, using his charms to his advantage, maybe tilting dices chin up to look him in the eyes.. yet flattered enough to not scam him completely, interested in him enough to take eternal servitude as payment. and then they shook hands on it, or perhaps signed a contract. and in that moment dice knew, the devil HAD him. but he felt so so good about it

Cuphead Show Will Be This February 2022 And I Can’t Wait! XD

[ This Post Might Be Super Long, just thought I would give a heads up about that before anyone reads this.....]

I can’t wait for Cuphead Show to start, which will be soon, I think I forgot the day it is suppose to start so I have to check, but I know it is suppose to be this month on February 2022.

I also realized that Kind Dice and Devil’s voices from Cuphead Show,

are attractive...gosh darn it, curse those two for having attractive voices XD

well sometimes, a voice will be attractive to some people.

cue the song “Good Girls Go Bad” By Cobra Starship.

which is a really good song, though not everyone has to like that song.

try a parody with the words “Daddy’s Little Girl” replaced with “Goddess’s Little Angel.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Devildice ends up being Romantic Canon, well if not, then there is always the Fanon.

we can not assume that the whole Cuphead crushing on King Dice in the show, is true or canon, we just have to wait and see what happens, after all that whole Cuphead crushing on K.D. is most likely rumors that might not really be true.

also you know how I have the theory that half of humanity’s heritage comes from Andromeda.

this might have to do with the Planet Theia, and the possibly some of Humanity has a mixture of Earthling & Theialing heritage.

it is possible that Theia went flying from Andromeda, and landed in the Milky way.

and The Garden of Eden was on the Planet Theia, I mean possibly....

unless my pendulum is pulling a prank again when it gave me a Yes reply about that question, how it gives a Yes is that it clockwise fast for yes and circle slow for No.

it is possible that it was Planet Theia that killed all the dinosaurs, but not everyone will accept that as a possible truth and that’s fine.

if each system had their own Angels, then the Angels that were part of Theia, ended up becoming part of Earth when the two planets technically became one after Theia was flung from Andromeda.

there is that whole info that if the Milky-way and Andromeda merge,

they will be Milkdromeda.

if such a merger does happen, I hope it is gentle and don’t cause any harm to the planets or the life on them.

in theory, one day America will still have the same stuff as we have now,

but it would possibly become a Libradom, it’s future name will be Ardenia or something else...

I was curious about what America and Canada’s Anagram name would be, and one of the Anagrams was Ardenia.

though that kind of thing might not happen, and we could view that kind of thing being in Deltarune, like the Monsters and Humans live in the Ardenia Libradom.

anyway back to the whole Cuphead Show, I can’t wait to watch it, and see the mischievous cinnamon rolls known as Cuphead and Mugman.

the whole Devildice having attractive voices being a “Oh No He’s Hot” moment, called for that tag.

I guess I didn’t think about it before, but after watching one of the new clips that has to do with their cartoon show counterparts, I guess I started to view their voices being attractive.

going for the bad boys, has to be genetic, like coming from the ancient maternal side of one of the ancestress lol.

speaking of genetics, I do hope that we can try to do that home blood test again.

if by chance it comes out as O RH D Negative a third time, I will fully accept it.

I did learn that my Mom’s blood type does in fact have a “O” in it, I know she was a RH Negative and she did have to have that shot that would keep her blood from attacking me while in the womb.

I forgot to speak to her about the whole possibility that I might be the reason why she couldn’t have anymore children after she had me, yeah I have a older half-sibling that she had first before me, but it is still possible that if a baby ends up with RH Negative too, it might fight back inside the mother’s body and cause some percent chance of damaging something in the body and causing the mother not being able to have anymore children.

the whole O RH D Negative being descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, is perhaps true and there is a possibility it’s not.

I know there is that whole King David and King Solomon being my Ancestors,

and I still see it as a blessing and not a curse to be Solomon’s descendant,

cause I ain’t touchy that throne, I don’t think I could handle that.

I was use to the whole Jesus possibly being a distant cousin thing because of him being a descendant of King David through his Mother’s side.

rumors are rumors, some end up being true an some end up not much true at all.

some info that talks about the Grail Children, and how both Jesus and Mary Magdalene had red hair, pale skin and O RH Negative Blood.

jokes on those who wrote that info, I wasn’t born with red hair, but some of my family was born with either red hair or some other color hair.

I was a surprise really, my hair ended up being more of a golden color.

I can view Mary Magdalene as being the Rose Quartz, and the Earth Angels being Crystal Gems, speaking of Rose and Crystal Gems, I was starting to pick up on where I left off on re-watching my DVD collection of Steven Universe, I plan to watch all the episode of each season up to the movie and then Steven Universe Future.

I’m listening to Future Girls by Smile DK, but after I listen to that a few times I will go and watch Steven Universe.

I still think that Pink-Steven could be a fragment of Pink/Rose, not being fully her and that the diamond that is part of Steven, is really a newly created diamond made by Rose who had be in front of her gem, making her real gem hide behind it.

Pink-Steven is possibly a fragment from Rose’s conscious manifestation of light, and even if Pink-Steven had some of Rose’s memories, they are not truly his own, but Steven/Pink-Steven’s mother’s memories that were copied into the fragment when it was placed into the newly created pink diamond that would become a part of the organic half of Steven.

not everyone has to agree about the whole fragmenting thing,

that sometimes you can remember something from a past life, but it wouldn’t be your past life, but your Soul-Parent’s memories, as the memories you have that belong to them, are but copies and will possible be fragment memories and not full memories.

though if some stuff is true, how some disgusting humans would force fragmentation, well that is just stupid and wrong.

another thing that not everyone has to agree about,

is that when two different fragments from two different souls end up fusing together, they create a fusion-soul in a way, being 100% different from their soul-parents.

picture Cuphead asking about that,

and Devil wanting to mess with him by saying

“you see Cuphead, when a Mommy-Soul and a Daddy-Soul love each other very much-”

but then King Dice cutting him off by yelling “Boss, No! Not That Talk!”

that would be really funny if that was a future episode,

like Cuphead end up asking where Souls come from, which would then lead to that running gag.

besides the whole looking forward to watching Cuphead Show’s episodes,

I am also looking forwarding to waiting for the next episodes of Helluva Boss.

maybe before I watch Steven Universe, I can watch Ah! My Goddess, I like it.

it might be a long time before I will get a DVD of Red Vs Blue Season 15....

but so help me if they overprice it once it is restock, I will scream.

it’s bad enough most of the shows seasons I want to get, is all Prime only.

and yeah there can be a good side to Amazon Prime, and even though I don’t have account, one of my family does and well, they mostly buy stuff on there.

I mean there can be a good side to Prime Videos, but from my point of view there is also a bad side where they are doing too much of Prime Videos, and should at least try to get the ones who have been on Prime only on DVD and Blu-Ray.

I only have the first season of OK KO Let’s Be Heroes on DVD, and it is not likely I will get the next seasons on DVD anytime soon because the rest of the seasons along with SVTFOE being on Prime Video only for right now.

at least there is a bright side, some series are on both Prime and DVD/Blu-Ray.

I like watch Fantasy series and some series with space in it.

I also like crossover between animation and live action.

I know I should try to hope for the best with how things are that has to do with Prime Videos, and yeah there can be other ways to watch a series besides DVD but I still think it sucks.

I guess I should try to be patient, and hope everything works out.

another thing that sucks, is that I know that I can never come out to my family about being Aroaceflux or the whole Feminine-Nonbinary or being Neo-Spiritual.

even if it is true that I am Enbian, because well got a Yes from my Pendulum when I asked about it before, and when I asked again just now, I got the same answer.

so it’s possible I am Enbian/Aroaceflux, I also just remembered there is drawing that has to do with Aroaceflux flag that I want to post up, I will do that later.

anyway I am really looking forward to watching the Cuphead Show,

it be nice if there was a Freddy Fazbear cartoon on Netflix as well.

also I can’t help but wonder if the whole Spirit Animal can be the same as a Familiar, I should try to look that up later to see if it is the same.

because if that is so, that would mean that my Familiar would be the Deer....

cause the whole Spirit Animal being a Deer.

on the topic of Enbian, some info about it, is that the whole attraction to Nonbinary isn’t exclusively, well according to what I read but I might need to double check the info about Enbian.

King Dice could end up being flirty with Devil, ten bags of chocolate kisses says he will be.

I’m not sure if everyone eats that chocolate candy called kisses, but I can’t help but love to eat them.

I hope to watch the future episodes of Hazbin Hotel too.

Charlie is a Cinnamon Roll that must be protected,

I do believe that Charlie will be redeem some souls, though some souls might never be able to be redeemed and if they have performed the worst of sins while being a Priest or Nun, well they don’t deserve the redemption.

even if there are some Priests and Nuns you can trust,

some you can’t and will turn out to be monsters.

I was listening to Future Girls, but now I’m going to listen to a few songs of FNAF before I go and watch AH! My Goddess and then after that I will watch Steven Universe.

after that I will listen to the new song that has gotten a lot of views,

Total Insecurity by Rockit Gaming.

well I will be watching the music video too, it might be for mature audience.

if Devildice does end up being canon or even semi-canon, in the show....

a lot of fans that ship them romantically will in theory act the same way when some fans found out that Sans was part of Smash Brothers, well the costume of him....but yeah, looking forward to the day when Sans becomes a full playable character in a future game of Smash and not just a costume...

as well as seeing if Devildice becomes canon in the show, and possibly their being reaction videos of very happy shippers.

anyway by the time I sign back in, I will have done a ship drawing of Max Goof and other Character, which I’m not gonna say what the other character is, all that I’m gonna say they wont be a OC and they will not be from Disney.

last year had some good stuff, but also had some not good stuff and it sucked.

March and August sucked for me, for two different reasons.

also I think I might of mistakenly thought that I lost the drawing I did of Raven and Gwenpool before, but I think I drew that some time after that mess happen and I don’t think I had posted on here later or when I can.

also I don’t know how many besides myself, that started to become attracted to Devildice’s voices, and well I guess it’s like you get charmed by certain voices or even a character, not in a s*xual way but differently.

I know one of my crushes is Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect, my finding the cartoon show versions of King Dice and Devil, don’t mean I am crushing...

and I guess I do have a little crush on Blitz from Helluva Boss, I wish I could just give him a hug after what happen in the last episode.

I hope we can to learn more of Blitz’s past, but it might not happen right away.

there can be different levels of having a crush, some can be small crushes and some can be butterflies in stomach feeling crushes.

King Dice could have the butterflies in stomach feeling crush on Devil,

if it turns out that he does have a crush on Devil in the canon of the show, I’m gonna say I called it. XD

anyway, just have to wait a few more days before the show starts,

Hello! This is just a bit of an AU story I came up with that involves the DevilDice shipping. Hope you enjoy! X3

Oh, and I also decided for Dice’s human like name, it would be Kingsley due to ‘King’ being in the name. ^_^

Here we have King Dice after losing to Cuphead and Mugman, the poor dice looking bruised and cracked all over. Anyway, he was gling to where the Devil was, and as he got closer, he over heard him calling him a ‘Good for nothing lackey’ before he fought Cuphead and Mugman.

Dicey boi here felt shocked, angry, and...sad.

After all these years of working for him as his right hand man, and also having grown deep feelings for him, he couldn’t believe what he heard. Was that how the Devil really felt about him? He would have thought that his boss would have at least respected him, but hearing those words shattered his faith.

It was after the Devil was defeated by the brothers that King Dice confronted the injured ruler of Inkwell Hell, feeling angry and hurt by his words. It got a bit heated before Dice decided to leave, having enough of working for someone who didn’t even care about him.

And so once he managed to get as far away from the casino as possible, King Dice managed to sit down through the pain of his injuries in a forest, where he was found by Cuphead and Mugman themselves. They were rather suspicious at first, but soon became confused and sympathetic when they saw his condition and that he seemed to have no intentions of causing trouble. After explaining what happened, the two wanted to help the poor guy, so they decided to let him stay with them and Elder Kettle til he was healed up so they can ‘help him back onto his feet’, even when Dice tried to refuse the offer but gave in after a few more tries and their ‘puppy eyes of doom’.

Elder Kettle was kind enough to let him stay, a little wary, but he trusted his boys.

During his stay in their home as he healed, the brothers learned some things about King Dice. Like about his past, his family, as well as his feelings towards the Devil.

And so the two brothers decided to find a way to get the two together.

How I feel about this character: I LOVE HIM!! He’s just such a big and evil badass and I just adore his animation and charisma even if there’s technically not that much to him compared to some other video game characters.All the people I ship romantically with this character: Nobody. How I feel about this character: I love her! I really love the dynamic between her and Scrat with just how different she is from him in terms of both personality and brains. King Dice Singing

A DevilDice, DiceCup, Normal fic all smashed up together!

It’s a slow afternoon around the casino. Customers come around night so there wasn’t really anyone hanging out at the casino, so usually around this time the employees had free time to play a couple games themselves.

“Black Jack!” Cuphead exclaims.

“Way to go bro!” his brother Mugman cheers.

“Again? Really?!” King Dice slams his cards down. That was the 21st time in a row and that can’t just be pure luck.

“I swear if I hear you made a deal with another demon…” the Devil growls.

“Ah don’t blame me for having actual skills.” Cuphead smugly said leaning back in his chair.

That really got the Devil fired up.

Cuphead and the Devil then went back and forth in a heated fight about what are “actual skills” and poor Mugman was trying to break it up. King Dice just ignores their immature bickering and starts shuffling up the cards. He starts humming an old jazz tune.

“Hey Dice….why do ya always hum?” Mugman spoke up trying to distract the two from fighting. Everyone already quieted down to listen to the humming.

“Eh I just like the sound of my own voice.” He responded nonchalantly.

He honestly never really thought about it before. He always hums. He hums to himself, hums while gambling, hums while working on paperwork…

“If ya like it so much how ‘bout you sing?” the Devil suggest with a mischievous smile.

“Yeah! Sing for us, I’m getting tired of winning to ol’ furball here” Cuphead snickers.

If he doesn’t stop everyone knows that all hell will break loose.

Literally.

“Please…” Mugman barely says above a whisper as he shrank back. There’s fire in the Devil’s eyes and looks like he’s gonna blow.

“Alright fellas I’ll sing for ya. I haven’t had an audience in ‘while.” He stands up and straightens himself before heading to the stage.

The stage is for the casino’s own jazz band. It was an instant smash hit with the customers.

Of course it was, he did lead the band after all.

He learned from his pop. But he himself never actually sung before; his ol pop was a jazz singer himself but…that was a long time ago.

He still remembers some of his pop’s songs. A good ol’ classic should do.

When he makes it to the center of the stage, he clears out his throat and hope for the best.

“Hey folks, here’s a story ‘bout Minnie the Moocher~”

Everyone knew that song. Even the boys smiled from the nostalgia.

“She was a red-hot hoochie-coocher,

She was the roughest, toughest frail

But Minnie had a heart as big as a whale~

Hi dee hi dee hi dee ho!”

The guys join in.

(Hi dee hi dee hi dee ho!)

“Wooooooaaaah!”

(Wooooooaaaah!)

Even the devil couldn’t help but smile. Cuphead was trying to hold back a giggle himself.

Some customers came in and sat down near the stage when they heard the singing. Then band slowly join in with the singing.

King Dice decided to tease them with a little dance. Getting low and swaying this way and that, as he waves his arms as though they had a mind of their own. No one in the whole audience can take their eyes off of him.

The whole room starts hooting and hollering and whistling.

And loudest ones came from the devil. Dear Lort what did he do to deserve a guy like Dice? That vibrating baritone that you feel in your chest, and the way he hits those notes.That voice can bring angels to their feet.

Meanwhile, Cuphead just was in absolute awe. He never thought King Dice’s voice could be this good. It was just majestic, elegant, loud, proud it was…King Dice.Honestly a blush was forming.

King Dice felt nostalgic. A full house, the band swinging, the hoots and hollers littered throughout the show reminded of way back then.

He was a waiter at the Cotton Club where his dad worked and every night he would see his dad perform. Everyone loved him, they just couldn’t get enough of him. He being the lucky son of the star, got special privileges like going backstage and hanging out with the band and they even taught him how to play their instruments.

Everybody went on and on about how lucky he was to be his son. And how lucky he was. He would stay up after a long show to tuck him in, read him stories with that funny voice he used, and when he grew up, he would talk to him between breaks at work. He knew he loved him to bits.

And he loved his pop to bits too.

“Poor Min, Poor Min, Poor Min~” he bows as he wails out the last note.

The whole house stood up and erupted with applause. King Dice didn’t even see the house was really packed. They seem to really love him, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The dice-head gets off the stage walks over to the table where the fellas are at and sees poor Cuphead flabbergasted, his mouth hanging and his eyes blown wide open.

Dice lifts a finger,“Close your mouth, you’re going to get flies in there~” and closes Cup’s mouth.

“Dicey! Why didn’t you tell me you had a voice of gold?” The devil patted Dice on the back.

Dice only smugly reply with “You never asked~.”

He was glad that the fellas liked his singing. He was…ecstatic even. He was…

“Dice?! What’s wrong?” Mugman notice tears welling up in King Dice’s eyes. Everyone at the table turned to look.

“Nothing, nothing just… being up on stage reminds me about my pops and it’s been a long while since I-”

A tear or two drops down and spots his suit up but he uses his handkerchief to wipe his face.

He sighs,“Since I last thought about him”.

Suddenly, he felt someone grabbing his leg.

He looked down to see Cuphead hugging his leg tightly.

Then Mugman on the other.

Then a hug from the side from the devil himself.

King Dice sigh, shakes his head then smiles a genuine smile.

‘These idiots are going to get my clothes all wrinkled’

His hugs them back just this once. He really needed it.

After the hug party was over, the Devil announces his plans.

“Ho ho ho We’re definitely having you perform from now on”

“Boss, I possibly can’t. I have to do too much work to do around here-”

“Your workload will be lighter. Hire as many employees you need.”

“Boss-”

“Dice! Nothing you can do will stop you from going up on that stage. The crowd loved you! And think about how many customers this will attract; business will go through the roof!”

That and he wants to hear Dice sing again but he won’t tell him that part.

“By golly you’d knock them dead out there!” Cuphead chipped in.

“You really think I was that good?” he asked the little cup.

“Good? You were tremendous! I gamble all my money to hear your voice again.” Cuphead said with enthusiasm. Mugman nodded in agreement with his brother.

He patted Cuphead on the head.

“Ya know that’s all the courage I need to do this. Thanks little cup.” He watches as Cuphead’s face grow red.

“Does that mean-” he said too excitedly “I mean… you’ll do it?” the horned demon asks.

“Of course~ Since I know you’re dying to hear my lovely voice again.”

Thank everything unholy that his fur cover up his blush.

Later in the dressing room that evening, King Dice was preparing himself for tonight’s show.

Everything was ready to go. Everything was perfect. Everything was just fine. So why is he pacing back and forth around the room?

Normal stage fright? Sure but… it was never like this.

‘What if I hit a sour note?’ I haven’t sang in a long time. ‘What if the audience hates me? I’m not exactly a crowd favorite here…’ He peeked at the audience and saw that at least half the crowd were well known debtors. He can get through that but what he’s mostly worried about is…

‘What if I cry on stage?’

He barely has his head above the sea of doubt and the thoughts are like the monsters, hiding just beneath the surface ready to drag him down into the abyss.

His thoughts are interrupted by 6 knocks on the door. Must be the fuzzball himself with his signature knock.

“Heya Dicey! We came by to wish ya good luck.” the Devil greets.

“Who’s we?” Dice looks around.

Cuphead steps into view. He’s holding something behind his back.

“What ya got there little cup?” King Dice kneels down and asks curiously.

“A good luck charm” he said avoiding his eyes. He holds out a little red poker chip keychain.

King Dice picks it up and looks at it for awhile.

‘He doesn’t like it? Man I knew I should of got the-’

“Aww Cup, even though it’s an ugly color…”

‘You ungrateful little-’

“I love it. Thank You for thinking of me” he smiles and puts the keychain in his coat pocket.

Cuphead’s face was as red as his shorts. He rushes out with a quick “You’re welcome” and high tails out of there.

‘Gosh that cup is cute.’

The two remaining in the room just chuckle and move to sit down at the vanity. “Dice, I know what happened to your pop.” the Devil said his voice sad. King Dice isn’t even surprised to to hear that, he expected that he knew everything. “He was a great guy my pop. The best there ever was” he said with a heavy voice. “You are too and don’t ever forget that.” the Devil pats his shoulder. He really appreciates that his boss cares about him. “Aww boss, what made ya ever think that I didn’t know that?” “Nothing. But I can’t have my right hand man running off stage now.” “Oh? You thought that I would abandon my audience?” he puts a hand over his heart, offended. “I bet that you’ll run off before halfway through the show.” The Devil said showing his signature smile. “I bet that you’ll be in tears halfway through the show~” King Dice says right back. “Whoever wins get the remote for a week~” “Deal~” After shaking hands, the Devil walks out of the dressing room, hoping that this is will be one bet that he does lose. As soon as he closes the door King Dice heads right out to the stage. He stops and tells the stagehand to bring the sax out and bring tissues for the audience. He’s gonna make some people cry tonight.

Trashy Update/ What’s on the menu

Alrighty guys I’m officially on winter break from now till Jan 1st. On Jan. 2nd I return to hell school. So that gives me roughly a week to sort out my stuff and maybe queue stuff up and what not. First on the menu: I’ve been making a silly lil comic based off of a joke and it‘s almost done! Ngl with the amount of antis who interact with my works or end up following me on social media I’m REALLY losing my empathy for when they freak out about proshippers following/interacting with them. Like. Why the fuck am I putting in all this effort to unfollow and block antis, checking for DNIs and signs of discomfort so I can respect their boundaries, when 90% of the time they don’t do the same? I can understand not checking everyone who follows YOU, but following others? Not even a brief check? Does there need to be a giant neon glowing sign for them to take the hint?

I still tend to unfollow/unmutual antis, if not hardblock them depending on how bad they are, but it’s really fucking funny how quickly they’ll victimize themselves for being in the proximity of a proshipper that they themselves followed and who doesn’t really keep it a secret. In a weird way I’ve started taking pride in the antis who leave kudos on my AO3 and shit. I don’t owe ‘em shit, I don’t consider practically anyone on social media to be a friend outside of Discord, I lose nothing for them fucking off or sticking around at the end of the day. If they end up throwing a hissyfit over what other content I write in my own time that’s their problem lmao.

Though I really should write more problematic Cuphead fics. Might get some of them to take the hint. For as much as I love TCS, I’m really beginning to miss the Cuphead game era of fandom where seeing problematic content was pretty common place, even if 2016-2018 was the peak of stupid cringe culture content online. I think that was my first exposure to Cupmug/Cupcest actually lmfao. Adult YouTubers pointing and laughing at it and calling it ‘cringe’, blasting it in front of their knowingly underage fanbase because cringe content was majority consumed by dumb preteens. Funny how that works out eh?

Side note: Calamug, Devilcup, and Devilmug were all also decently popular ships back in 2017. Devildice was still easily the biggest, but do not fucking think there weren’t HEAPS of toxic fics about ‘em. Everyone knew they were at least a little fucked up and unhealthy. Boss and employee is a power dynamic. Hot power dynamic, yes, but one regardless. The hypocrisy in this fandom is hilaaarious.

Anyways. I’ll get around to Ch 2 of Don’t Stop Singing eventually. It’s still in the works. I’m just frankly exhausted with the current state of the Cuphead fandom, though I guess at the absolute least most of the cesspit is contained to Twitter. Not to say there aren’t antis on here, but there’s way less. I can deal with muting people on AO3 if it means I can enjoy myself in peace. Granted, after I post ch 2 of that fic, I’ll probably move on to another fandom for some time. Again: not that I don’t enjoy Cuphead still, just kind of tired. I’m still eager to hear more news, but if we don’t get a new season, then. Oh well I guess. At least I can take solace in the fact that none of the folks that worked on the show particularly care about this stupid internet shit-- Dave Wasson and Grey DeLisle interacting with/outright shipping Chadice respectively, DD also interacting with both proshippers and antis amicably. It’s just suffocating as an actual writer and fancreator being mostly unable to engage with the fandom (or most fandoms tbqh) without putting up a bunch of emotional barriers.

I didn’t even get hit with harassment as heavily as some other proshippers in the fandom. Won’t name anyone in particular of course, but I’ve watched people get bullied off the platform while antis gloated after the fact. I was harassed by a popular fanartist who STILL interacts with my works and the most amicable assumption is just that he doesn’t know it’s me. I got the LEAST bad harassment, but that required me putting up all these emotional barriers and blocking like half of the fandom.

All so I can not worry about possibly being harassed. Possibly. And it’s so fucking tiring to have to do all the time, but I refuse to abandon my values just because it’d be ‘easier’. No amount of not labeling myself as proship would change the fact that I like and have both written and consumed problematic content for well over a decade. And I would not give it up for the fucking world, because I think as someone who went through utter HELL in real life, that if nothing else I should GET to express what that did to my brain instead of censoring it for a bunch of internet nobodies who don’t truly care for someone like me to begin with. It’s a lot easier to burn out on fandom when you both can’t make friends, and also don’t want to, because the first time you tried you got harassed.

I’m eternally grateful for the other proshippers and neutrals in the fandom. Keep on chuggin’.
