DEXTER / LAYLA ☮ INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

She wasn't a bad person, she didn't belong here. It was all his fault .. he made her do this. He wouldn't let her leave and he forced her hand. It was kind of a cliche' thing for criminals to place the blame on someone else right? In Layla's case it wasn't just another excuse or way out, it was her reality but it's not like that mattered to the cops that were currently questioning her about to death of her fiance' though. In their eyes she was just another heartless killer that decided one day she was just going to randomly stab her fiance' in the chest for fun.

Layla shifted in her chair a bit until the detective came back in, detective quinn. It was true, she did it she stabbed her fiance' in the chest but she couldn't admit that. Killing him had finally set her free, it would be a bit ironic if she landed herself in prison. "I told you guys, I don't know anything about my fiance's death. I have pilates class everyday at four .. I came home and found him like that." Layla said, trying to convey pain for the loss of her fiance'. It was a feeling she didn't really have she was happy he was dead.

"Look, you've been here for a few hours so we technically can't keep you any longer but this investigation ain't over." Detective Quinn informed her as he opened the door and motioned for her to exit the room. Once she was outside, away from the building she took a big breathe of the miami air. It wasn't over but for now she had escaped another potential prison.
