Just realized i never posted this here! This was my piece for the @tgaacspringzine that released earlier this year :) chose to draw iris and lady b because I'm never not thinking about them tbh

floriography notes under the cut :)

They're planting a lilly of the valley, which represent love, sincerity, and a return to happiness (spring flower..). They can also be used as a mourning flower which. Makes sense with lady baskerville. But that isn't what i chose to use the lillies for. They're having a good time :)

The smaller white flowers, i did not really plan out, so I'm not. Quite sure what they are? Though i think baby's breath or white clover could fit. White clover, as most white blooms tend to be, are representative of innocence and purity, but can also be associated with a sense of calm (all of that is in western floriography. In hanakotoba, they can also mean 'think of me' which feels fitting). Baby's breath also connotes innocence and purity, but also hope and new beginnings.

And with the pink flowers, i straight up forgot what those were supposed to be so i cannot explain them
