Almost every day for the last week, Dylan's woken up in the guest room with a cat on his bare chest, folded over like a loaf of bread. Since when did animals like Dylan? He never had a pet growing up - his mother was not nearly responsible enough for that - and the feral alley raccoons of Milwaukee didn't count. Secretly, he always wanted a dog, but every living situation he's ever found himself in was an absolute abhorrent situation for an animal - including the cells. Now that he was staying in a house until further notice, he was getting used to it. No sneezing, at least, that was a plus. Dylan had started to grow fond of the cat, though, even if they both kept a cautious distance from each other while they got used to the new arrangement. Carrying her under his arm as he made his way to the kitchen, he gave Dhani a tired smile as he walked in. "I believe this belongs to you," he joked, only using one arm to make himself coffee, as Melora seemed comfortable where she was. @dhanilyman

He’d been in his room for days, he knew to a human that was startling, concerning even. He knew that because until last week he himself had been a human, and if Dhani had been locked away in his room for a week, he’d be worried. So he didn’t blame Dhani for being concerned. But he hated him for it. That wasn’t true, he didn’t hate Dhani. He hated himself, he hated that he couldn’t even die right, he couldn’t just fucking die. And he’d tried a few times over the past week. The valium he’d had in his medicine cabinet in his private bathroom had been taken, and the most Leib had felt was a little loopy for a few hours. The cuts on his wrists were sore and scabbed over, but hadn’t done much, and his house wasn’t tall enough to do any real damage if he’d jumped, so he was stuck like this. Forever.
He knew Dhani would be heartbroken if he knew what Leib was up to in his room for the past week, but he didn’t want this. He did not want any of this. But he was here, and he was furious. He poured over books, only left the bedroom to get more books when he knew Dhani was asleep, and to give Monster Truck a pat on the head, but then he closed himself up in his room again. So when he heard a knock on his door, he wasn’t surprised, he was just surprised that it had taken this long. He went to the door and opened it, looking down at Dhani through the few inches of space between the door and the doorframe. “What?” he asked softly. He just wanted to go back to bed and keep reading.

George smiled As he watched the nurse wrapped up his newborn son in a blanket.
The little baby with jet black hair had calmed down after getting cleaned up and spending time with Olivia.
George smiled as the nurse handed him the baby. George was in awe of the little being in his arms. Olivia smiled from her hospital bed.
“He’s beautiful.” George said.
Olivia smiled as she watched her husband hold their newborn son.
“He is beautiful.” Olivia said with a smile.
George smiled at the baby and kissed his head. The little boy yawned. George chuckled and nuzzled the baby.
He couldn’t wait to be a great Dad.

Use a Friend: Quinten & Dhani
@dhanilyman
Dhani biked over. He still had his key, so Quinten didn’t need to leave the door unlocked but they usually did. It was rare something messed up happened at Quinten’s place or that anyone’s homes were actually invaded. Dhani let himself in and sought out the cats he’d been missing, petting and cuddling them for a bit before going to the living room and laying on the couch.
He’d done his fair share of crying and grieving and raging over Leib’s death in the last few days. And now that Leib was back and just... It was hard to describe. Dhani knew he should be home, looking after his master especially now. But it was hard to do that when Leib wouldn’t so much as open the bedroom door to speak to him. Dhani had to keep reminding himself Leib needed time to adjust.
Quinten decided that he would drive over. He needed the time to think and pacing at home wouldn't have done much. He needed to have something else to focus on so driving and shopping was a good place to start. The island was in chaos. He wasn't entirely sure why they thought this had been a good idea. Well...that wasn't true. They loved seeing people in pain, but he thought it made more enemies than anything else. If they wanted compliance, he wondered if they had really achieved it.
He wondered what Dhani had to be feeling right now. To have thought he lost his Master to then have it reversed. He was certain that was why he was seeking his company. He wasted little time getting back, not entirely surprised to see Dhani already sprawled out on the coach. "Want space or do you want me to join you on the couch?"

There was nothing like a little hard work to get Alfie through a tough time. Back in the day that would mean him casing places and robbing them, but today it meant painting the inside of the new building he’d just leased for his next step in his business plan. Walking out of the building with a cigarette between his lips he grabbed a few cans of paint that he’d left outside. As he turned to head back in, he paused, noticing someone who he recognized, and after a moment of thought he put down a can of paint and snapped his fingers. “Uh, Da- Dhani? Dhani, right?” he asked as he pointed at him. “You’re Daisy’s boyfriend?” he asked as took the cigarette from his lips and exhaled the smoke. He looked around at the ocean surrounding them on the pier and then nodded to him. “You good man?”

“i want you to fuck me.” - @dhanilyman
Wilder looked at Dhani from over the rim of his glass, the two had been sitting on the patio of his treehouse, drinking and talking, and just hanging out for a little while now, and while there had obviously been a little flirting, Wilder hadn't expected Dhani to be so straightforward. "Correct me if I'm wrong- Don't you have a girlfriend?" he asked curiously.

Does anyone else just find Ringo absolutely adorable in these photos?? Like, the way he is sitting next to Brian. Or the way he's laying on the couch with his camera resting on his tummy. Or the way he's looking up at Paul with that sweet face and eyes and adorable nose.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, the way Paul is looking at George in these pictures like a proud older brother. He looks so sweet with him!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok, here me out. John and Paul, teenagers of Liverpool. Walking down the streets, leather jackets on, Elvis styled hair, guitars in hands, discussing Elvis. And then tiny little George running, trying to keep up!
Tumblr media
And now, the odds and ends:
Paul's innocent peaceful face.
Tumblr media
The way Paul's looking at the little girl.

John looks so sweet!

George and shy little Dhani!

Need I say anymore?

This is a cute Beatles appreciation post. Please appreciate!

Leib grabbed his hand and Dhani took a breath, swallowing hard and stopping himself from outright crying. He nodded, quickly, acknowledging Leib’s gratitude towards his insistence at it not being a panic attack. His master was a doctor, after all, and Dhani took his own health pretty seriously, too. He felt better at Leib’s promise, taking a slow and shake deep breath, squeezing Leib’s hand before they let go.
Dhani laughed, sudden and short, shaking his head. He’d get too overwhelmed. But he knew he owed Leib a proper apology. He’d already explained himself enough. “I’m sorry you doubted me. My commitment or, if I made you feel bad for anything, me just trying to ...do my job, I guess. Instead of interact with you like a proper human being.” Dhani picked up his paper cup of coffee taking a hard gulp and nodded, “You know I had a Jewish grandmother, how dare you. ‘Do I play gin’?” He smirked.
Tumblr media
“What is Gin supposed to just be a Jewish thing?” Leib asked as he started to shuffle the cards carefully, his hands were still a little weak- if he was honest, all of him was a little weak, but he chalked that up to the nurses keeping him awake all night coming in to take samples, and heart rate, temperature, all of it. He knew he wouldn’t be able to get any real sleep until he was back home in his own bed. “So you’re gonna be a pain in the ass about my health now aren’t you?” he asked as he started to deal the cards on the tray. He moved the plate of sushi to the side of the tray, giving them the room to play on.

Footage as featured in the special edition of Living In The Material World and the George Harrison Guitar Collection app — George playing Fred Astaire’s “Shine On Your Shoes” on the ukulele.
“The main thing was he was always around the house, playing his ukulele and smiling. I’d come home from school and he’d be standing in the doorway playing his uke.” - Dhani Harrison, Los Angeles Times, November 2002 “If I began to sing a song — any song — he would accompany and encourage me. If I played three chords on the uke (compulsory instrument in our home), he would be my band.” - Olivia Harrison, Harrison (2002) “[George] had a lot of patience and he had time for people. If somebody truly wanted to know something, whether it was a guitar chord or something from the Vedas or how you prune a tree, if you were really curious, he had an endless amount of time. He actually sat with my mother and showed her how to play one chord on a ukulele so she could play along with him. He wanted everybody to have fun and join in. He was a Pisces; I think he liked the whole school going along with him.” - Olivia Harrison, Filter, Fall 2011 (x)
