“I learned the Talbiyah from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who said: Labbaika Allahumma labbaik, labbaika la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan- ni’mata laka, wal-mulk. La sharika laka (Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner).” He said: “And Ibn ‘Umar used to add: Labbaika labbaika labbaika wa sa’daika wal-khairu fi yadaika, labbaika war-raghba’u ilaika wal-‘amal (Here I am, here I am, here I am, and at Your service; all good is in Your Hands, here I am, seeking Your pleasure and striving for Your sake).”

The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah 🌹
• Pray abundantly. Make sure the fard/obligatory prayers are on time. Make it a practise to pray the Sunnah prayers from this month onwards.
• Fast as much as possible during the first 9 days of Dhul Hijjah. Especially the day of Arafah (9th of Dhul Hijjah, day before 'Eid), it expatiates the sins for the previous and the coming year and many other virtues for yaum ‘Arafah.
• Make du'a, give sadaqah, ask for forgiveness from Allah, repent, read Quran, and increase in all types of 'Ibadah.
• Increase in Adhkar & Ad'iyah. Increase Tasbih, Tabir, frequently:
Our Prophet ﷺ said: “There are no days that are greater before Allah or in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days, so recite a great deal of tahleel, takbeer and tahmeed during them.” (Ahmad)
Tahmeed: Al-hamdu Lillah (All praises be to God)
Tahleel: Laa ilaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah)
Tasbeeh: Subhaan-Allah (Glory be to God)
May Allah grant us generously with his blessings and rewards during this time آمین

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah)."
He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah?"
He (ﷺ) replied, "Not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah, except in case one goes forth with his life and his property and does not return with either of it." [Al- Bukhari].

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God's Messenger as saying, “There are no days in which a good deed is more pleasing to God than these ten days.” On being asked whether not even jihad in God’s path were as pleasing, he replied, “Not even jihad in God’s path, except when a man goes out in person with his property and loses both life and property.” Bukhari

Confirmed for Muslims:
The first of Dhul Hijjah is June 30th, 2022
The Day of Arafah is July 8th, 2022
& Eid Al Adha is July 9th, 2022 (four days)
If you’re able to, it’s a good idea to fast starting June 30th, all the way until Eid, but the Day of Arafah is the most important and beneficial day to fast!

💎 Ten Points for the First Ten days of Dhul-Hijjah & 3 Days of Tashreeq
1. The first ten days are actually nine days with the addition of the day of Eid. It is called the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, but only nine of it is for fasting as the tenth day is the beginning of Eid. It is impermissible to fast on the day of Eid, this is a consensus amongst the people of knowledge.
2. It is permissible to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah with the last day being the day of Arafah for those not doing Hajj. The Prophet (ﷺ) said in a hadith narrated by ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما (in at-Tirimidhi): “There are not any days that good deeds are more beloved to Allah than those done in these ten days.”
3. In these days, it is recommended that there is a lot of remembrance of Allah سبحان و تعالى - this is for all of the ten days.
4. In these days, it is recommended that one makes takbir of Allah (saying Allahu akbar) - this is from 9th dhul hijjah to 13th dhul hijjah.
5. In these days, it is recommended to read the Qur’an as much as possible and give charity - this is for all of the ten days.
6. The ninth day is the day of Arafah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said in an authentic narration: “Verily on the day of Arafah there is expiation of sins for the year before and the year after” (narrated by Abi Qatada رضي الله عنه, reported in Sahih Muslim and At-Tirmidhi). So therefore it is a great day, so it is recommended to fast that day for those not doing Hajj. Fasting is only permissible for the first nine days as the tenth day is the day of Eid.
7. Allah تعالى said: “That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the name of Allah on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah), over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice). (Surah al-Hajj: 28). Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما said: “The appointed days are the days of Arafah (9th), an-Nahr (10th) and the days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th ).
8. Whoever wishes to slaughter in these days it is not allowed to cut or remove any hair from his body or his nails, but this does not apply to his family, only the head of the family who is doing the slaughterings.
9. The ruling regards to slaughtering:
a. An individual who slaughters from his own wealth on behalf of himself and his family - It is not permissible for this individual to shave any hair from his body, remove any part of his skin or cut his nails.
b. An individual who slaughters from his own wealth for others e.g. he wishes to slaughter for his father or his mother - He too must not cut his hair, take from his skin or cut his nails.
c. Anybody who wishes to slaughter with someone else's wealth, for somebody else .e.g. He has been entrusted by someone else to slaughter cattle for him - This individual is allowed to cut his hair, nails and skin etc.
10. Eid Al-Adha: the tenth (the day of Eid prayer) and the days of tashreeq (the eleventh, twelve and thirteenth days of Dhul-Hijjah). It is impermissible to fast in these days for those not performing the Hajj. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The days of Tashreeq are days for eating, drinking and remembering Allah عز و جل” (narrated by Abi al-Maleeh رضي الله عنه, reported in Sahih Al-Muslim). Allah سبحان و تعالى said: "And remember Allah during the appointed Days." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 203).
Taken from the works of Al-Imam Al-Baghawee, Al-Alaamah bin Baz and Al-Alaamah Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on them all and all the scholars of the Sunnah.

The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa.
the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa, and the best thing that I or the Prophets before me have said is 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner' (La ilaha illa'llah, wahdahu la sharika lah.)"

Allah tells us in Al-Qur'an (what it means):-
"Call upon Me; I will respond to you."
So what makes you to think that he is not listening to you??
He heard you even before the words came out of your mouth!
You don't need to have any intercessor or any mediator or anyone just to ask Allah what you need!
You don't need to have any intercessor or any mediator or anyone just to talk to Allah to tell him whats on your mind!
This the beauty of Allah!
This is the mercy of Allah towards his slave!
This is the beauty of Islam!
Subhannallah.
Alhamdulillah.
Allahu Akbar.

Hadith on Dhul-Hijjah: No better time for good deeds than these ten days
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No good deeds can be done at a time better than these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” It was said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah.”

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No days are better to Allah than the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, are they better or time spent waging jihad in the way of Allah?”, The Prophet said, “They are better than time spent waging jihad in the way of Allah. No day is better to Allah than the day of Arafat. Allah descends to the lowest heaven and He boasts to the inhabitants of the heavens about the inhabitants of the earth, saying: Look at My servants, appearing disheveled and dusty. They came from every mountain pass hoping for My mercy. They do not see My punishment, yet they do not see that on no day are more saved from Hellfire than the day of Arafat.”

Our Prophet said: “There are no days that are greater before Allah or in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days, so recite a great deal of tahleel, takbeer and tahmeed during them.” (Ahmad)
Laa ilaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah)
Takbir: اللهُ أَكبَر Allāhu Akbar (Allah is the greatest)
Tahmeed: الحمْدُ للَّهِ Al-hamdu Lillah (All praises be to God)
While there are different versions, the takbeer can also be recited as follows:
Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allah, Allahu akbar, wa Lillaah il-hamd.
Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, there is no god but Allah; Allah is Most Great and to Allah be praise.
